We wanted to visit this place regardless of the thought that it could be too ‘touristy’. We were really delighted that the place lives up to its reputation. The scallops were really well prepared and delicious. The escargots with parsley butter were very tasty and very well cooked.

Pleasant and helpful personnel guide you through the many menu service options. Lovely and vibrant setting provides a superb backdrop for an excellent Parisian lunch. I started with a half dozen oysters and turned to the seared tuna for a main course. Most enjoyable way to kick off my holiday in France!

Absolutely wonderful! I enjoyed every second, one of the best meals I have had. Such a beautiful building, every where you look. The staff were very fast and attentive. I had the tasting menu with the wine pairings and every bite was just fantastic! I would recommend to anybody visiting Paris!

An iconic spot. We stopped in for a mid afternoon treat. Took an about an hour to get a seat inside but it was worth it. The service was prompt but not the friendliest. We shared a pastry and had some beverages. Definitely worth a visit if you’re in the area.

Very enjoyable lunch, both in terms of food and atmosphere. Delicious onion soup, made according to their legendary recipe from the 19th century. One of the best crème brûlée we have tried in Paris.

Suggested by a store nearby so we went and had lunch.
Very pricy for what it is. You pay for the location and all the waiters running around. Some were friendly but the one who took our order was rude.
We ordered mussels with Chablis wine (I’m from the Chablis area,, very good wine), couldn’t taste the wine at all, you find better in cheaper restaurants.
Got the salmon with spinach, good but pricy, nothing extraordinary about it.
Got a goat cheese salad for the appetizer, no real taste to it, had to add pepper on each bite so it would taste like something and asked for olive oil to also add some taste to it, the oil barely tasted like olives.
Originally wanted the veal dish but the rude waiter simply and rudely said I don’t have that.
Got a steak with pepper sauce instead, I asked for it very well done, it was cut in the middle to cook it well I’m guessing but even with that it was pink inside. Very well done means very cooked. It doesn’t matter if you don’t eat your meat like that or it’s sacrilege for the cook, I’m the one who will eat it. And for 45€ steak with fries you can’t cook it well done without opening it in the middle or even opened for that matter ?!?! You should be able to cook a thick steak very well done for the price and that kind of establishment.
The pepper sauce didn’t have any pepper taste to it.
We will never go back to pay over priced food. Food is not bad it’s just the overall experience and again very pricy.

We had a great time. We were running late, but they held our table. The veal was amazing. Try the fresh seafood platter with raw oysters.

Our service was perfect and the meal was absolutely delicious. I had sea bass and my daughter had salmon tartar. The Parisian Onion Soup was likely the best I’ve ever had. My daughter experienced her first ever escargot here and she admitted she loved the flavor it had an earthiness that was brought out by the herbs, garlic, and butter. For dessert my daughter ordered crepes flambé and she was able to watch as our server prepared it which delighted her. Thank you so much for the experience and we look forward to dining with you again in October.

The food is excellent especially the seafood. The service is great and friendly! Appreciate the hospitality and if there is a bathroom at downstairs that would be perfect!

This is one of Paris most authentic restaurants (of course a little touristy) but perfect to get the full on experience. The escargots were amazing, same as the steak and frites. Good atmosphere, beautiful decor and very relaxed setting!
Thumbs up!

Absolutely stunning! This Starbucks is unlike any other. From the outside and the main entry, it looks like any normal Starbucks, but step inside and you're transported to a different world. Situated in a historic building, the interior boasts opulent decor reminiscent of the grandeur of Palais Garnier and Versailles. The intricate details, lavish furnishings, and elegant ambiance make it a must-visit. Whether you're a coffee lover or a history enthusiast, this Starbucks offers a unique and breathtaking experience that you won't want to miss.

This Starbucks near the Opéra is unlike any I've ever seen—it's a true masterpiece! The decor resembles that of a museum, with stunning architectural details and elegant furnishings that create an upscale ambiance. Every corner is beautifully designed, making it a feast for the eyes. Despite its beauty, the café is always bustling with locals and tourists alike, which speaks to its popularity. The coffee is, of course, up to the brand's standard, but the atmosphere truly elevates the experience. Whether you’re grabbing a quick drink or settling in to enjoy the surroundings, this Starbucks is a must-visit for anyone in the area.

This Starbucks is absolutely stunning, the most luxurious I’ve ever seen! The interior and the view create an unforgettable experience, making it feel far more than just a regular coffee stop. It’s the perfect place to sit, relax, and take in the beautiful surroundings. I’ll definitely be going back—it’s a must-visit!

By far the most beautiful Starbucks location that I have ever been to! Walking through the doors here was not like walking in to a cafe but instead walking into the palace of Versailles! This location was absolutely gorgeous and comfortable!

Starbucks Opéra is, without a doubt, the most beautiful Starbucks in Paris! The atmosphere is truly stunning, even if the coffee itself is just the usual fare—you won't find anything particularly special. While I was there, a supervisor came by to ask how my order was and offered to take additional orders right from my seat, which was a nice touch.
The highlight for me was the pistachio cake, which was absolutely delicious. It was easily the best part of my visit.
If I’m ever around Opéra again, I’d definitely come back here to relax and enjoy a coffee.

Why is Indian cuisine in Paris? Because there is superb food to enjoy. I travel a lot, and the more I travel, the more I like to expand my dining options. You will enjoy authentic Indian cooking; they will know how you want it. So give them how you like the spice: hot or mild, or anything you like.
This is a family-run operation, which explains why the ambience is always friendly and relaxing as if they are hosting other family members they have known for a long time. I heard “Taste Like Home” by a group of visitors from India! Wow!

One of the best Indian restaurant in Paris, if you prefer vegetarian food.
It was raining and I ordered onion Bhajiya, it was delicious and it was sprinkle with chat masala. The paneer kadai was perfect. The tandoori roti is made from wheet. By the way, without asking the spliced onion and chili are provided with main course.
Butter milk is available.
The staff is very cooperative in terms of helping with menu and very friendly. Must visit for vegetarian food.

I liked the open kitchen where the lady was making dumplings. It seems that the restaurant is owned and operated by an elderly couple, who were very nice.
We ordered various dishes. Among those, I liked the Yangzhou fried rice. The dumplings were not good; I just couldn't understand why they were sweet. The Sichuan spicy fried chicken was also not spicy, but sweet. We arrived one hour before closing time, so maybe they were tired and provided subpar dishes. At least, that’s what I want to believe.

Ordered pork soup (with bamboo and tofu skins) and rice to go. This was the best plain white rice at a Chinese restaurant ever, even in the best Chinese restaurants in the states, moist and sticky, almost as if they used sushi short/medium grain. The soup tasted great, good flavor as it was freshly made, downside is that it was so freshly made that the pork ribs did not have enough time to simmer. I would come back to try the other stuffs. Seems like a small business, family owned and operated.

Food was GREAT 👍. The owners are very friendly and nice. When we asked for the best route to the Effie tower, they help us and provided several different routes.

Best xiao long bao anywhere you go. This is truly xiao long bao heaven. We ordered three different kinds, pork, pork w crab meat, black truffle. All good and distinctly different. The other dishes were just okay. If you are not a fan of xiao long bao, it may not be your best choice of Chinese restaurant. But we are, and we are very happy

Loved the food here. Every single dish is of high quality. I recommend this restaurant if you are looking for a french cuisine. The service is superb. There's not much variety for the main dish and dessert but we were quite satisfied with the food. The price is also reasonable. This restaurant truly worth the visit.

Loved my meal here! Menu changes weekly and is fully in french. The lovely wait staff patiently explained to us the menu in English. It was full house via reservation only so pls make reservation early! Saw them turn down a couple of walk-ins. It was a joy observing the flow of the two wait staff serving a full restaurant. Very smooth. Food was great too. Best meal in paris

I love coming to Mamou. It is now a stop off every time I am in Paris. Fresh seasonal menu, the owner explains the menu in great detail and possible in English which is very sweet. They also have the best bread on the table but remember to save room for their equally brilliant food. Friendly, no fuss, great food and location. What more can you ask for!

Mamou is French restaurant owned and run by Chef Monsieur Romain Lalu in central/northern Paris. His deputy is Julie who served as our main waitress tonight.
Pros: In short, this is the best French restaurant in Paris. The food was tasty, impeccably presented, the flavours and combinations showed imagination yet everything was oh so tasty. Chef Romain's skill is evident everywhere. His technical abilities amazing! Service was tip top too! Julie knows the food and drinks menu flawlessly. She was attentive, friendly and knowledgeable. The perfect waitress! We were also impressed that Chef Romain said hello to us and replies to emails himself! Amazing! Chef Romain is the tall friendly man with dark hair and glasses who is the really friendly yet knowledgeable man who wanders the floor of his restaurant. Great value for money! The food is far too tasty for the very reasonable prices on offer.
Coms: None really. The only main suggestion is it would be nice if they could integrate their booking system with Google maps. That way, it would be easier for tourists to make a reservation.
Top tip: Listen to Julie. Suggest you order what she suggests. She was right: the mushrooms in a cream sauce was the tastiest starter. The veal with risotto similarly amazing! The Pina colada was the favorite desert on our table tonight!
In short, just go to Mamou. It's definitely the best French restaurant we have eaten at. And we'll definitely be back and again.
Congratulations once again to Romain, Julie and rest of the Mamou team! Job well done! I definitely be back!

This has become one of our go-to restaurants in Paris. It's very close to our hotel and the food is consistently good. All the pizzas easily feed a person (usually with a slice or two left over) and some are quite large (they actually bring them out on 2 plates because 1 isn't big enough).
My pizza was one of the large ones. The crust was thin and the edges were slightly more done, which I prefer. They were also able to accommodate my dietary prefernces by leaving off the cheese as I don't eat dairy.
The service is really good, as well. We have one server that we love because she's so helpful and attentive, but we've never had bad service.
I recommend making a reservation, as they are always quite busy. And while they may be able to accommodate you without a reservation, you will likely be subjected to a deep sigh and what I like to call the Paris "I can't believe you didn't make a reservation" eye roll. 😁
I highly recommend brecommend this restaurant for pizza.

The food was so delicious here. It’s predominately Italian food but done very well. The pizzas are huge and pasta’s just the right serving.
The restarting is set in a small quiet courtyard which made it perfect for families with children as they could run around opposite the restarting without risk of being run over by a vehicle or scooter.
The outdoor area is full of majority smokers however tables are far enough apart to not impact you too greatly if you don’t like it.

We had some of the best pizzas in Paris at this restaurant. We were with friends who are regulars here. Given the generous size of the pizzas, we ordered two pizzas for four people to leave room for dessert or maybe another dish, as we've heard the rest of the menu is also excellent.
Unfortunately, the experience was marred by the service. The waitress, visibly stressed, responded to us that the owner no longer allowed pizzas to be shared. She then added "Is this for an appetizer?". This made the moment quite awkward. Unfortunately this attitude somewhat spoiled the experience, which is a pity considering the quality of the pizzas.

We ordered the pizzas which were large and very tasty. The drinks list is extensive and the staff are friendly and attentive.

A modern-style refined Italian restaurant, this establishment has a high class atmosphere and on the quality of the cuisine it provides it certainly delivers. The Frettuccine al Pesto Genovese is a stand out for me, and the Tiramisu I shared was absolutely delicious. If you're staying around the Palais Garnier this is a dining experience I wholeheartedly recommend.
