A fantastic dinner and while the ambience is elegant, and refined, you’ll find that most people dinning here are casual The staff spoke English and were very friendly. Tip: Americans need to understand the time it takes for a full dinner service in France is a lot different than back in the States so sit back enjoy the ambience and experience and let the restaurant showcase their food, culture and their service. Portions are smaller but everything was well presented and delicious.

The first thing i would say about is the interiors.. you would simply love it. The service was very good. we were taken care by pascal . He spoke very well to us & made our dining experience very good. The food also was very good. loved the smoked salmon.

Very luxurious atmosphere and staff very elegant. Food is good. I regret the cold air flow in winter getting in every time someone’s open the door, despite the protection curtain. Tourist price, be prepared to pay extra for the surroundings but I’d say it’s worth it at least once.

Although the kitchen was eager to close early on NYE, it was the perfect early dinner before our show at the Opera. The service was professional, the atmosphere is luxurious, the food was aesthetically well-detailed and delicious.

We were greeted by Robin. He was so welcoming. We knew immediately we were in good hands.
We changed tables, on their suggestion, bigger table to cater for the huuuuuuuge amount of shellfish 🦐🦐🦐 to follow.
Maybe the Best oysters I've ever had. Jean Louis from Mont saint Michel took over...the service in this restaurant is some of the best I've ever had in Paris. I'm here 27 years.
Proud to live in the neighborhood of this place...I shall be back!

I had the daily special while my friend tried the oysters. Both were fresh and tasty but nothing particularly exceptional—fairly average restaurant quality. For the price, the portions could have been better. Overall, a decent experience but not anything extraordinary.

The atmosphere in this place is wonderful; it has a vibrant and inviting feel that makes you want to stay longer. The waitstaff are exceptional—friendly, attentive, and always ready with a smile, which adds to the overall experience. However, the food itself is rather mediocre. While it didn't quite meet my expectations, I would consider coming back for dinner just to enjoy the warm and welcoming service provided by the lovely waiters.

We’re back after 9 years to celebrate our birthdays and Pe Grand Cafe did not disappoint. Sebastian was our server and he was excellent. Paid great attention to our table, was funny, and very knowledgeable about the menu. Come to this place to have excellent seafood platters! As well we took advantage of their dinner special consisting of starter and dinner for only €24.

Was not impressed with the steak. My instinct was to order the duck confit but I have this rule that I will order a steak of its a steakhouse. The steak was cooked good but had no seasoning at all. 1-star. The other items were ok but not great. I will be back to try again because I believe second chances.

About the food, i recommend the rib it was delicious. The beer was also good. The portion is not that big at all.
The salad was big which was a surprise. The foie gras was reallllylyy good better than all the restaurant i have before.
The service was good.
The price is about 20+ for each dish.

What an amazing place! Me and my wife went to the place with very late notice to the Resturant and they did the outmost to served us unique plates and cocktails on time before the kitchen is closed. We stay up to 1.00 am and still there are people inside having fun and enjoying drinks/wine/cocktails.
I strongly recommend cucumber cocktail.
Thank you guys we made our anniversary very special!

Awesome experience. The food was delicious and very well presented (the veau is super delicious, the best I've ever tasted). The staff is very cool and friendly starting from the waitress arriving to the chef. And what about the environment? Super cool, this open patio in which you can eat outside also during the winter. What else I can say? Go there.

Your ordinary Starbucks but with a marvelous decor. Marble columns, murals and chandeliers are beautiful. Also here was the first place I heard the cute french accent from a waitress trying go call my name, so it made a sweet memory for me to remember!

This is the Starbucks to come to for the scenery, it’s absolutely beautiful. I also found some things to buy that I hadn’t seen elsewhere. This is a lovely Starbucks to sit in for a brief time, it’s obviously very busy, they also have a restroom for customers.

You won’t believe it’s a coffee shop!
From the outside it doesn’t look so beautiful, but inside is amazing and like a trip to the past.
Really loved the place. I strongly recommend the pistachio barr, it’s just another level!
It’s a must go!

This Starbucks near the Opéra is unlike any I've ever seen—it's a true masterpiece! The decor resembles that of a museum, with stunning architectural details and elegant furnishings that create an upscale ambiance. Every corner is beautifully designed, making it a feast for the eyes. Despite its beauty, the café is always bustling with locals and tourists alike, which speaks to its popularity. The coffee is, of course, up to the brand's standard, but the atmosphere truly elevates the experience. Whether you’re grabbing a quick drink or settling in to enjoy the surroundings, this Starbucks is a must-visit for anyone in the area.

Love the curry here! We had the butter chicken and paneer spinach curry, both tastes wonderful and I love how they season the curry as they aren’t salty at all. Great service and the toilets are very clean too!

I had an amazing experience at Gandhi Ji’s The food was exceptionally good, every dish was bursting with flavor. The service was top-notch, with the staff being attentive. What made our visit truly special was the owner, who went out of their way to interact with our kids, making them feel welcomed and entertained. It’s rare to find such a warm and family-friendly atmosphere. I will highly recommend it if you are visiting Paris to try this restaurant!

I visited this place for lunch on a working day afternoon and the restaurant was full. I ordered the most comforting Dal soup and paneer tikka and stuffed paratha(not in the pic).
Will visit again for the soup and the warm hospitality.

My wife and I like a lot of different cuisines, but if we had to choose a favorite, it would be Indian. We've dined at MANY Indian restaurants, and my wife has also been to India, and we have a good appreciation of what separates great Indian food from everything else. Gandhi-Ji's served up the best samosas we've ever had, along with absolutely delicious chicken tikka masala, aloo-gobi, and mattar paneer. The service was fantastic, especially since we were the only ones dining outdoors at one of the three small tables so we could people-watch while enjoying our dinner. If you enjoy Indian food and are in Paris, don't miss Gandhi-Ji's!

I liked the open kitchen where the lady was making dumplings. It seems that the restaurant is owned and operated by an elderly couple, who were very nice.
We ordered various dishes. Among those, I liked the Yangzhou fried rice. The dumplings were not good; I just couldn't understand why they were sweet. The Sichuan spicy fried chicken was also not spicy, but sweet. We arrived one hour before closing time, so maybe they were tired and provided subpar dishes. At least, that’s what I want to believe.

Such a sweet couple and staff, we ordered the XLB, seabass and greenbeans. Our favorite was the XLB, so juicy and chewy. The fish was fresh and tender and green beans were great to snack on!

Food was GREAT 👍. The owners are very friendly and nice. When we asked for the best route to the Effie tower, they help us and provided several different routes.
Eat here and I’m pretty sure they (both food and service) won’t let you down! 😇
The plates are beautiful too! (Near the opera so you can come here easily )

Ordered pork soup (with bamboo and tofu skins) and rice to go. This was the best plain white rice at a Chinese restaurant ever, even in the best Chinese restaurants in the states, moist and sticky, almost as if they used sushi short/medium grain. The soup tasted great, good flavor as it was freshly made, downside is that it was so freshly made that the pork ribs did not have enough time to simmer. I would come back to try the other stuffs. Seems like a small business, family owned and operated.

Best xiao long bao anywhere you go. This is truly xiao long bao heaven. We ordered three different kinds, pork, pork w crab meat, black truffle. All good and distinctly different. The other dishes were just okay. If you are not a fan of xiao long bao, it may not be your best choice of Chinese restaurant. But we are, and we are very happy

Loved the food here. Every single dish is of high quality. I recommend this restaurant if you are looking for a french cuisine. The service is superb. There's not much variety for the main dish and dessert but we were quite satisfied with the food. The price is also reasonable. This restaurant truly worth the visit.

Loved my meal here! Menu changes weekly and is fully in french. The lovely wait staff patiently explained to us the menu in English. It was full house via reservation only so pls make reservation early! Saw them turn down a couple of walk-ins. It was a joy observing the flow of the two wait staff serving a full restaurant. Very smooth. Food was great too. Best meal in paris

I love coming to Mamou. It is now a stop off every time I am in Paris. Fresh seasonal menu, the owner explains the menu in great detail and possible in English which is very sweet. They also have the best bread on the table but remember to save room for their equally brilliant food. Friendly, no fuss, great food and location. What more can you ask for!

Mamou is French restaurant owned and run by Chef Monsieur Romain Lalu in central/northern Paris. His deputy is Julie who served as our main waitress tonight.
Pros: In short, this is the best French restaurant in Paris. The food was tasty, impeccably presented, the flavours and combinations showed imagination yet everything was oh so tasty. Chef Romain's skill is evident everywhere. His technical abilities amazing! Service was tip top too! Julie knows the food and drinks menu flawlessly. She was attentive, friendly and knowledgeable. The perfect waitress! We were also impressed that Chef Romain said hello to us and replies to emails himself! Amazing! Chef Romain is the tall friendly man with dark hair and glasses who is the really friendly yet knowledgeable man who wanders the floor of his restaurant. Great value for money! The food is far too tasty for the very reasonable prices on offer.
Coms: None really. The only main suggestion is it would be nice if they could integrate their booking system with Google maps. That way, it would be easier for tourists to make a reservation.
Top tip: Listen to Julie. Suggest you order what she suggests. She was right: the mushrooms in a cream sauce was the tastiest starter. The veal with risotto similarly amazing! The Pina colada was the favorite desert on our table tonight!
In short, just go to Mamou. It's definitely the best French restaurant we have eaten at. And we'll definitely be back and again.
Congratulations once again to Romain, Julie and rest of the Mamou team! Job well done! I definitely be back!

It almost feel like you are dining at your family’s place. Nothing fancy about the decor, very rustic but what you get is an incredibly welcoming experience where the chef takes pride in the meal he prepares for you. Almost everything is made from scratch, with seasonal ingredients and cooked to perfection, and taste so delicious!
Be sure to come with an empty belly because the portions are huge. You must have the starters.. we ordered the gravlax and gambas which was out of this world. Highly recommend the veal - it’s done to pinky perfection served on a bed of creamy mashed potatoes that is elevated with earthy mushrooms that brings out the umami taste. Go for the beef tartare as it’s sooo fresh if you want something typically French. We were so full so ordered one dessert to share and they took the initiative to split it into two portions for us - this is first class service!
They even went out of their way to keep the restaurant opened way past their opening hour so we can continue our conversation. Definitely a must to revisit!
