The best pizza I've ever eaten in Paris! The products are really high quality and the pizza is really Italian style! The owners are really kind and professional in their work, Together with their staff. The restaurant is very welcoming, I also recommend the desserts which are really delicious! When I return to Paris, I will definitely have to go back! See you soon!!

Pizza was great, although we felt kind of scammed.
We were in a group of 4 adults and 1 child and were forced to order 4 dishes when we just wanted to have 3 pizzas only plus drinks. Waiter said that it's a "normal practice in Paris and a restaurant's policy as well".

I highly recommend this restaurant. The food was delicious! And the waiters were so helpful and kind. Had a great experience overall.

There are many cafes in the quartier. I have been there in a week day and it’s quite crowded, but it’s nice.
It’s full of workers, students doing there jobs in this area. It’s an experience you do.
Prices are good, not very pricy.

Our pizza, prosciutto with arugula, was amazing, probably the best pizza I’ve had in 20 years!! Wine was delicious. Highly recommend!

Woah! I have never seen any Paris restaurant have so many American TV Show or Movie. I can tell what is their favorite show or movie. The sign on board was written in English which I was very surprise to see that. I mean I speak English.
The staff was great and friendly personality. The waitress was very good looking and beautiful.
She did a good job service the food and drink.
I enjoy eating American food again. I love burrito, homemade fries, and Hot chocolate.
Im glad they got a bathroom, but the sink was in a different area and right next to bathroom.

We loved their food! Their California French toast was amazing. Very nice staff, great service. Huge bonus—their tap water is ice cold and is divine (we have not found this anywhere else in Paris)

Highly recommend ! I love this place. The food is excellent and the staff is awesome ! If you are looking for scrambled eggs , real bacon and sausage 😁 , toast , fresh squeezed OJ , pancakes and French toast this is the place to visit. Love the Chicago Bears helmet sitting on the shelf. Shout out to Chef Jared Pierre from the "Chi".

We went on Sunday Brunch, which is very popular, and there was a long wait. That was expected and normal. Once inside the service was very slow. The food was ok. Not great not bad, just ok. The waiter forgot part of our order and we had to wait almost 40 minutes for them to bring it. They had to remind the kitchen about it. It is a very generous 3 stars because the food took way too long for being just ok, but the staff was very friendly. There are way better spots to eat while in Paris.

Amazing restaurant with high attention to detail. Wonderful food with focus on truffle flavour.
We visited there in June 2024. It was my wife, 8 year old daughter and myself. We were warmly greeted and they had read our requests very well so that was already a great start due to any dietary requirements.
The menu is unique and they had also prepared something i.e had nice choices for my little one.
I would highly recommend this restaurant which is different as the truffle aspect to me personally was really nice. We enjoyed it a lot!
Thanks to the Chef for popping at our table and being so warm. Wonderful team of people and all the best wishes.

Incredible experience in the Fall of 2018 during the Ryder Cup. Food was world class. Service was world class. We don’t drink, but we could tell wine selections were world class. I can’t wait to go back. Working towards it.

Easy selection with my wife being such a lover of all things truffle and the Michelin star didn't hurt. Service was amazing on all counts and the dishes were memorable. When discussing champagne, the Henriot 1996 was suggested - maybe due to the age, or the storage - the champagne was pretty flat but it was hard to resist a '96 when pairing with the food. Would definitely return, but would be more proned to discuss the condition of a less than perfect bottle in the future.

A very cute authentic french restaurant. Amazing service and huge selection of wine. It's not a 'regular menu' they have the chef's menu you can choose from. It was delicious, I felt like the desert did not need to taste like truffle, even tho I selected the truffle menu. : )
Highly recommended if you're looking for french cuisine and wine.
Even the small croissant and truffle butter before the meal starts is so delicious.
Eve - a year ago
Food was expertly prepared and the truffle theme was there, but not overpowering, and there are mains without truffle if desired. The service was wonderful and very accommodating. It looks like they update their menu quite regularly so I'm sad I don't live in Paris to try all their menus.

Heard very nice things about it before, first time for me tonight. Good Guinness, prices are really affordable for Paris, bartender Guillaume was tending alone and doing an brilliant job. Very clean and welcoming place. Will come back. Cheers!

Nice bar with a pleasant playlist of rock music. Waiters and waitresses are very nice and joyful, insuring that you will have a good time in this bar. Moreover there is a cellar, which offers two different atmospheres for the same bar. Main perk of this place : there is free wifi! The code is written on the boards on the walls and this is very enjoyable. Nice colorful lighting and very beautiful neighborhood (near Pantheon and ENS).

The first restaurant me and my GF went to in France and it was a great experience. Great food and good service. My gf loved the vegetable and couldn't stop thinking about them the rest of the trip. They speak French and Spanish here and also English

Cafe del sur tries to be an Argentine Parrilla and to some extent succeeds. The food can be very good on some days and a bit less so on others. But the service is always friendly, the empanadas are delicious, and it is very good value. I do not know many restaurants in Paris where you are sure to leave full without breaking the bank.

Liked it. The weekday lunch is great value and during dinner the Argentinian fair is good and reasonably priced. Can get super busy though.

Super happy with the El Sur. Had an excellent 200gram beef rare 18euro... beautifully melting. There is a Malbec club... i had a 375 ml 12euro so very fair n tasty. Atmosphere is great very friendly. English speaking. Just off enough of the tourist area to have locals too. Doesnt have a terrace but instead a covered area with giant folding doors so it feels open. Argentina music playing , not too loud. There were kids so family friendly. Really enjoyed an easy pleasant night with a great steak... i will be back unless everyone starts taking my spot.... dont come El Sur is mine lol... kidding everyone come...

Was mooching around Paris and stopped for a couple beers and a burger, awesome service and great staff. Food was really nice. I highly recommend if you’re passing by to stop in.

Such a gorgeous bistro facing onto the square (that's actually round😉), we sat outside and watched the evening's passing parade. Wonderful service, all the staff were very friendly and had excellent English. Great value for money, ordered wine (generous serving), a cheese and meats board (with complimentary top up of bread) and escargot (stunning flavours).
Definitely recommend

We came here before the pandemic many times. I believe the ownership has changed since then. The menu is very basic French brasserie. The food was just ok. The tartare was very big and tasty. We enjoyed the ambiance of the square.

French fries and blond beer 1664 pint was very good, it came with a lemon in glass (we also liked the aromatic flavor). But I didn’t like the cafe gourmand, because deserts didn’t satisfy me in terms of taste. Oh and they offer some popcorn with drinks which is nice.
Overall I think it’s a nice café to meet with friends for a few drinks and to enjoy the atmosphere of Place de la Contrescape. btw happy hour from 17h to 19h!

Strolling along after breakfast elsewhere, I saw this picturesque place and stopped for another coffee. The view was lovely, service was okay too. The coffee was decidedly average and I couldn't even finish it. When I went inside I saw they had a fabulous Vittoria Arduino Adonis coffee machine so they must be very good at making bad coffee. To top it off, the cost was 5.8 Euro for a double espresso. So don't go here for a bargain, or a quality coffee. But the view is lovely.

If you are a Brit, Canuck, or anywhere in between, this is the place for you! Did my best to speak French but the head bartender was as 'English' as me!

Nice place to make a pit-stop; it’s a self service pub with decent choices of beer and pretty ok food choices too. Had better burgers but I guess it’s a matter of individual taste :)
Prices: We had 2 beers, 2 burgers (cheddar burger) and 1 cappuccino for 41€.

Amazing beers and the great atmosphere. It can be a little bit hard to find a table (or any place to sit at all) depending on what time you arrive. Also, I was a bit disappointed to hear at 22:05 that the kitchen closed at 22h. I only left because I couldn’t order anything to eat. Anyway, I still recommend it for the great beer options!

Happened across the pub on a walkabout and felt very comfortable as soon as we walked in the door. Extremely helpful, friendly and fun staff. Was there for about 9hrs on the Saturday and then for a fair few hours on the sunday. Food was amazing, good drink selection available and i honestly cannot praise the staff enough, it was an amazing experience and such a fun couple of days that we will be back 😁
Thank you bombardier staff, you were awesome! 🤘🏻🍻

My first visit here was just for a baguette and chocolate eclairs. Both were so good. Surprised the baguette was warm since I bought it in the afternoon but so glad it was, as it was probably the best I've had. Crunchy outside and light inside. Add beurre aux sel de mar and it's all you need. There's another EK just up the street that serves good coffee and some different food items than the other store.

Eric Kayser is a Parisian boulangerie which branches scattered around the city including this place on Rue Monge. This is solid bakery with high quality bread products and good coffee. Opening hours are 7.30am to 8pm daily (closed on Mondays)
We stopped here one early morning during a recent trip to Paris for croissants, pain du chocolat and coffee and found everything to be very good. The breads were flaky with soft, fluffy layers, much nicer texture than what we found at other places during this particular trip. Espressos also tasted very good.
Note, there was only a few bar side stool seats at this Eric Kayser. Otherwise, just take-away order counter where the various bread, pastries and other products are on display.
Would happily revisit this bakery again. It was the best place we found for morning coffee and croissants this time around in Paris.

The food is delicious, offering authentic Ethiopian flavors that stand out. However, the service quality could be improved to enhance the overall dining experience.

If you want authentic Ethiopian cuisine in Paris, you must come here. It is a very small place, so getting a seat for a larger group can be challenging, and the service can be a bit slow, so be patient & but the food will make up for it!!! If you want the authentic dark injera/bread (made with Teff), you have to ask for it because they only make it on request, but it is well worth the upcharge! In a word, the food is absolutely "Delicious"!!!

A cute Ethiopian restaurant 5th district in the Latin quarter. The manager is quite friendly and kind, and speaks English too. The food quality is ok (nothing wow about it, based on my other Ethiopian cuisine experiences in Geneva, Berlin, and Wien) and the presentation was nice too. The injera served here was quite light and less sour than the conventional ones, which was interesting. The space is quite small, so it is a bit cramped, and the toilet is clean, but quite dark, which wasn't my cup of tea. If in Paris and craving for some Ethiopian, this might be a spot to consider.

Never had Ethiopian food before but I am now fully in love with it!
As a vegetarian I feel so welcomed here, each of the dish is just absolutely delicious, the portion is perfect for me as a woman too, I even ordered the traditional cake, yum! The cream and coconut go so well together.
The owners are so friendly and lovely, I wish more people can come visit cause they are amazing! ( but yeah since they are already quite popular pls make a reservation before coming)

Cute place with a family-run feel. We had a vegetarian and a fish meal, which came together but was separated on the tray. Food was really tasty though a bit too oily. Customer service was kind and hospitable! It was packed soon after we went there - which speaks to the food.

Dinner, Conversation and Cognac
Walking near the Sorbonne in the 5th District we came upon Le Buisson Ardent and saw a wonderful lamb entree on the menu. We settled in for 2+ delicious hours of cafe dining, including that lamb, dessert and cognac. All accompanied by the charm and conversation of the owner and young patrons surrounding us. Highly recommend!

Our group absolutely loved our experience at Le Buisson Ardent. There are plenty of authentic food options with unique twists. This was the best escargot I had in Paris! The owner was incredibly welcoming and accommodating of our needs. The bar and drinks were definitely my favorite part about our dinner - we all had amazing cocktails and ordered several. Would definitely recommend to anyone!

My friends and I all agreed - this was our best meal in Paris! From the specialty surprise drinks to the incredible mains, the service and quality of food was amazing. I had the soup of the day and the tuna, and it was delicious! Seriously, go here, you’ll feel welcomed and have a great meal.

Found this place just walking around. Very decent food. Exceeded expectations. We had the beef tartare, tuna tartare, grilled squid/octopus (polpe), pan fried tuna and ipa.
They served us Evian for EUR6.5 which I was tempted to give 4 stars for service, haiya, but I should’ve just been assertive and asked for tap water instead 😅
But overall, again, much better than anticipated.
