Very nice place for a stop over after some walk. They have sufficient selections of Alpero spitz or soft drinks and you can sit outside to enjoy their live jazz music. Inside looks a bit more formal for proper dining.
Self-service outside at the bar and you have to pay deposit on the glass.

Really nice restaurant in the middle of the park.
The food is great and cocktails too.
The waiters are really nice as well.
If you can eat outside, you may hear birds singing.
It's better to reserve your spot first as it tends to get full easily.

I had such a great experience this summer at Pavillon du Lac! It's a bit far away from Paris Center and most attractive touristic places but it worth a stop to enjoy the wonderful atmosphere under the trees of Buttes Chaumont!
It's a bit and swiftly crowed but when you get a good spot, having a spritz or a beer is delightful and very pleasant - I had the chance to enjoy some Italian treats (fresh and delicious) and also to participate at a Pesto Challenge and to eat this pesto I've made with incredible fresh pastas!
Don't hesitate, and go there! It's wonderful and the manager of the place is so happy and enthousiastic that you can't spend a bad time

Based on my several experience visiting Sunday nights: 3 starts are for their friendly bar and security staff and their location.
To improve: need new layout design so the bar queue is NOT in the middle of the dance floor and allow a better circulation.
Allocated place for jackets, we live in Paris, and it is not out of imagination that people come with jackets 8 months of the year!!
Lighting and sound systems need a major relook to be adjustable between restaurant and bar area, bringing on mood.

It's a must for Parisians and libertine citizens for a good vibe and music in one of Paris most beautiful parks. Sunday tea dance has become a legendary event. One of the only places Parisians are willing to queue.

We've been at night and the place is amazing. Inside the park, super open for everyone. Fun, great music, amazing people. You could only ask for the to close later than midnight!
Pass Sanitaire mandatory.

Such a fun environment to have a drink and enjoy some snacks; bring some friends and enjoy the music as it invites you to get some dancing in!

We went here on a Sunday afternoon and had a late lunch at around 13.30. No issue on finding a place outside, but it wasn't the most sunny day. The concept is nice, good view over the park and small tapas like bites. However, the staff seemed grumpy and hangover. Five stars for the location, 4 for the concept, 3 for the food quality and 2 for the staff.

Bright and cheerful little cafe with good food

I recommend !
The welcome is very warm and pleasant. The bagels are full of flavor and filling, and the desserts are delicious, all at a low price.
We will come back for sure!

Homemade cuisine to enjoy without breaking the bank.
A weakness for tarts as a main course and cakes for dessert.
It is also possible to order very beautiful cakes (attached photo of the unicorn cake which was for another customer).
And regarding the opinions questioning the freshness of the products, I regularly take something to eat there if I have to eat on the go and I have never had any problem.

This restaurant needs a better chef and more attractive dishes compared to their price. The dishes are not bad but they don't have much "wow" factor! However, Sunny is one of the places that I go once a while especially in good and sunny weather , to order an avocado toast which is served with a tasty sauce, and I would definitely sit on its terrace if I could, because it has a beautiful view of Buttes-Chaumont Forest Park, which is one of the most beautiful places in Paris.

Beautiful restaurant, lovely service. Delicious food and great value. Great spot just near the park, locals and visitors spot. Iconic lovely and a little bit American diner style inspired.

Best Avo toast Ive had in a long time, in a wonderful atmosphere merging American Diner and Paris Bistro. Service was kind and friendly, which is always nice in the morning. Don’t miss a stroll through the nearby park after

Sunny is a pleasant bistro outside the main entrance of Parc des buttes-Chaumont and great place to rest the feet while enjoying good food and refreshing rose after touring the park. Service was very good with attentive, friendly wait staff. The toast covered with smoked salmon, avocado and poached egg was nicely presented with tasty chopped tomato, arugula, and a savory dipping sauce, pink in color but not at all sweet or fruity which paired nicely with the generously poured glass of wine. Healthy vegetarian salad featured crisp lettuce, feta cheese and several types of organic vegetables nicely composed. Obligatory post-meal espresso exuded strong coffee flavors. Mostly local patrons with French spoken at all tables except one. Interestingly this establishment features American Western cowboy decor in the back of interior space and stairways leading to the restrooms. We enjoyed a nice time here and will return if visiting the park again.

Indoor or outdoor, a place to experience and return to. Lovely location near Buttes-Chaumont park, eye-popping floor tiles, warm & efficient service, and above all good original, seasonal dishes. The sautéed mushrooms were a treat!

Nice place with a cool atmosphere. Starter of Calamari with the sauce was excellent though kind of felt the main dish was a bit bland

In the 3 weeks I spent in France this was by leagues my favorite dining experience. the place is very eclecticly decorated, the staff all spoke good English and the food was superb! Highly recommended stopping here if you are in the area.

We visited this cute Bistro late at night with a large group (15+ people) and the host was kind and took us in! The food was delicious, and no English menu (which to me is great). Would love to come back!

A great find next to my favorite Parisian park. Casual dining - nice relaxed atmosphere (went with our 6 year old) , excellent service from staff, food was delicious and much more refined than most similar places (varied menu). Great playlist, overall friendly and welcoming - c’go check it out

The pros : freshly prepared dishes, excellent value for money, nice selection of wines, good service, this is a rare find in the 19th district of Paris
The cons : restaurant isn’t very big, booking is recommended

There are lots of great things to say about this storied bistrot. The food menu, which changes every day, did not disappoint whatsoever, even though charting familiar territory in terms of flavours and texture. The tiny kitchen is clearly run with a steady and creative hand by the compact brigade and his chef. The wine list is all about biodynamic and natural labels… many of whom were unfamiliar to me, and thanks to the knowledgeable and friendly service team, we homed in on a couple of bottles including a wonderful Volnay 1er cru. All in all, a lovely dinner on arrival in Paris, right off the plane!

French atmosphere and modern cuisine, incredible wine selection, good food

We went here for a business dinner and I cannot stress enough how enjoyable this restaurant was. The wine list is fantastic, atmosphere is very welcoming and homely and you instantly feel at ease. The staff are also friendly, efficient and knowledgeable. I had the terrine and the beef cheek which were both excellent and made with great care. Desert was a rice pudding that was incredibly moreish with the perfect balance of sweetness. If you enjoy good, no nonsense food, an exceptional wine list and a cosy, welcoming atmosphere, do not miss out on this.

Nice, small place, friendly, fast and smiling service. :)
Affligem beer is really good, kind of sweet, not too strong.
You can also get food from here, even some vegetarian options. They speak English here. And what else...maybe ought to visit the restroom here if going to the park.

A great location right next to the park and nicely spaced out tables inside. The manageress gave a very professional service. We had some hitches with how to use our Wonderbox vouchers (always a headache with these things) but it was all sorted out in the end. Food was good.

Checked out Le Gange near Parc Butte Chaumont in Paris, and it's a pretty interesting mix of an Indian restaurant and a regular brasserie. They've put an Indo twist on some dishes like omelettes, pizzas, and burgers, but they also serve the usual Indian stuff.
We tried a few dishes – the Dahl Tarka wasn't that great, but the chickpea curry was really good (kind of a different take on Chana Masala with little green non-chili peppers). The paneer tikka was good too. We asked for the dishes to be spicy, and they definitely delivered!
My daughter had the butter chicken, and it was the best dish on the table. The naans weren't super fresh (maybe heated?), but the rice was good. The staff was nice and friendly. Overall, a solid 4 stars for Le Gange! Worth a visit if you're in the area.
Koby Ofek - a year ago
Underwhelming. Service was nice, food was OK, nothing special. But, the portions so small for 15-20 euros, get just a small portion of curry. Naan was small too.
