What an amazing and welcoming staff. They are all very knowledgeable about the area and Paris. The breakfast is perfect (parfait). The room we had was small but it is to be expected in a big city. Each room is different and some of the other rooms on our floor had a better outline.
The location was easy for a traveler. The neighborhood is lively but felt safe.
I can't wait to come back.

I stayed here for 3 nights. I didn’t have any issues with the hotel but it’s definitely not a 4 star hotel. It’s a small, boutique hotel that I would classify as 3 stars. First, there isn’t even a lobby with a reception area. There’s a communal dining table with a staff member and a laptop who checks you in. I completely didn’t even realize they were staff because they blended in with the other patrons who were using the dining table. I had room 31 which is fine for a solo traveler, but definitely not for a couple. It’s small and inconveniently designed. There’s no door from the sleeping area to the shower and sink. The toilet is a separate, closed off area, away from the sink which I would find awkward if I was sharing with a partner or a friend. The lobby also hosts a club and many DJ’s so it tends to get quite loud and packed at night. There are also plenty of clubs on the same street that I could hear at night when I’m trying to sleep. It wasn’t really an issue for me because I can sleep through anything, but I can see how that would be a problem for other guests.

Our 5-night stay at Le Pigalle Hotel was exceptional. The hotel's design strikes a perfect balance between classy and chic, creating a welcoming atmosphere throughout. The rooms were tastefully decorated and boasted incredibly comfortable beds. The service was outstanding; from the friendly front desk staff to the attentive kitchen and coffee area team, everyone ensured we felt well taken care of. Breakfast was a highlight with delicious food options. Overall, Le Pigalle Hotel offers excellent value for money and made our stay truly memorable.

I had an excellent stay here and as a frequent Paris visitor, I'd highly recommend. This hotel is cool, but fair warning it is highly sexual, there is a pole for pole dancers in the lobby! As long as you are prepared and can find it amusing, it's lovely. The rooms have a record player and a box of records to play. The bath products are a great brand as well.
Overall, the staff was extremely helpful and positive anytime I needed anything.
This is a great place to stay if you want to be near the fun/hip shops and restaurants, and if you want a boutique experience but chain points (in Marriott Bonvoy). Highly recommend!!

I came to Paris for the Olympics and Paralympics and had a long stay. The staff were very accommodating and willing to help in any way. They offered directions to events and things to do but the most amazing thing is that they were so genuine and caring, I will certainly visit and stay here again.

The crepes here are delicious! Perfectly light, with just the right amount of sweetness and a variety of tasty fillings to choose from. You can tell they use quality ingredients, and every bite is worth savoring.
The only downside? It’s a bit on the pricey side. While the crepe is definitely tasty, it might feel a little expensive for what you’re getting.
That said, if you’re in the mood to treat yourself, it’s a great spot to enjoy a well-made crepe!

Had the most delicious galettes and crêpes at Crêperie Brocéliande! The crepe was the lightest and crispiest, fillings were fresh and flavorful, and the atmosphere was cozy and inviting. The staff was really warm and friendly.
Definitely recommend this spot for a delicious and authentic Parisian experience close to Montmartre!!

Easily the best galettes and crêpes we had in our time in France. The galettes were very fresh and incredibly crispy. We got the goat cheese and onion and the raclette crêpes and both were amazing. Highly recommend this place if you want good quality galettes in the Montmartre area!

Will always dream of this fondue! The service was great, generous portions, and great drink portions. I came alone so I was a bit anxious about it but the staff made me feel at ease and the fondue was one of the most delicious things I’ve ever tasted!! I’m sad that I didn’t get a bottle to take away. Hopefully they can ship one to London?

We had such a fun night at this fondue spot. We met an awesome group next to us and had fun with the quirkiness of this restaurant. The food was quintessential fondue but the wine baby bottles, friendly service, and intimate conversation made for an incredible evening. I definitely recommend!

Very fun dinner! The place is really peculiar, full of writings on the wall and informal atmosphere. The service was very kind and fun. We took the classic fondue with bread and it was very good, the wine served in the baby bottle is fun (a bit difficult to drink though). I recommend you to book since the place is not that big.

I highly advise getting a reservation!! but this place was wonderful. it was on my best friend’s list when visiting and we decided to take our chances one night and luckily got a table at 9pm. the staff is so friendly and nice. our night was so much fun and the menu was amazing. it was a great experience for us and a memorable night. a big shoutout to the business which has been there for years and with steady prices and good quality food. the staff deserves all the kudos
Nishadi - 4 months ago
We had a great night here. We had the cheese fondue and red wine. The baby bottles are of course impractical to drink from, but that’s part of the fun!
Be aware that the tables are all joined so you have to climb over the table to sit on the benches against the wall.

We stopped by for some quick snacks and picks one savoury (pain with mozzarella and tomatoes) and one sweet (pain aux raisins) pastry. We liked them both enough. Overal Paris bakery prices.

A small local bakery with friendly and helpful staff. The lady at the counter took the time to explain all the different sandwiches to us in English. Unfortunately, we couldn’t find the pistachio croissant, but the macarons made up for it.
Alice Dylan - a month ago
A really good bakery. Even though it’s very popular and quite touristy, it still has kept its standards and offers great pastries. The pain au chocolat is particularly good as well as the Petits pains suisses aux pépites de chocolat.
Lift_Run_Eat_ - 3 months ago
Worth Trying
A fairly average experience. Nothing too unique within the store and prices above par.
Pain au chocolate - par, not buttery, but not dry. Much more bready than average, so it's a heavier bite. Good structure.
Robert Zheng - 4 months ago
Best bakery I’ve been to in Paris! Their pastries are phenomenal. The classic croissant and the pain au chocolat were so flakey and buttery. The mozzarella tomato pastry we got was the perfect savory breakfast, with fresh tomatoes and mozz. Not to mention this place is tucked back in a beautiful area with endless cute streets to wander. Cannot recommend it enough!

Enjoyed our lunch at this quaint restaurant near to Abbesses. The food was great and the prices reasonable and fair. The bar manager / waitress seemed to be having a tough day and was quite stressed out but this happens in the restaurant trade and is to be expected from time to time. It's a tough line of work. But no harm done and we enjoyed and would recommend.

It's an ok place to have a quick drink or a quick snack. I think the place needs a bit more of a workforce, they seem to be a little pressured by the amount of people here. I understand this might be one of the main reasons the service is not very good. The food is ok, not something that you will crave later.
I don't think i will return here, anytime soon, in this area there are a lot of cafes that i would love to try, i might give it another chance at another time.

Getting off the Metro station at Abbesses and walking up through Montmartre to The Basilica of Sacré-Cœur de Montmartre is quite an arduous task. Well we walked several flights of stairs up the hill and by that point we were hungry and thirsty. Luckliy for us, up on the corner we found Au Rendez-Vous des Amis. We were trying to avoid tourist traps and when you see local Parisians eating there thats usually a good sign. Well this cafe far exceeded our expectations. Both my children 11 and 13 are picky eaters which makes finding meals very difficult, especially in Paris. Well we able to get meals for everyone, three of us had the Burger which was incredible -everyone loved them including myself. I had a local beer with my burger which made it taste even better after the long walk up. My wife had the Chicken Caesar which she thoroughly enjoyed. If you have made the long way up to the halfway point between the Metro Abbesses station and The Basilica of The Sacred Heart looking for somewhere to take a break and enjoy a meal or drink this is the place. take it from a travel influencer:)

Wonderful location and beautiful restaurant. The outside area is surrounded by street artists who are incredibly talented and the staff of the restaurant are polite, friendly, and they speak very good english. The food is quite expensive but it is worth it, the mussels go to the very bottom of the bowl and the Camembert was both creamy and delicious. Overall I would definitely recommend dining here.

Anthony is an amazing server, he was super kind and attentive. Great food and the garden out back is the perfect place to relax while enjoying a lovely meal. Would highly recommend the French onion soup to start with!
Kasha Spokes - 4 months ago
The dishes and ambiance were pleasant (indoor terrace). However, the service was particularly unpleasant, getting multiple passive-aggressive remarks with no reason from what appeared to be the manager of the place. He refused to adapt one dish when we asked (related to health needs for one of our guests). We were roughtly asked why we didn’t want more than "only a dish". Waited longer than needed for our coffees, only to hear him tell us “Took a while for those coffees, huh?”

We were a bigger group and ordered several dishes. I had the beef bourgignon and loved it. The first server that was assigned to us was very bad, he messed up our entire order and got very mad (spoke rudely in french but we didnt understand him) after we told him something he brought us was not what we ordered. After that, he was replacdd by one of the best servers i've ever had. He was very nice, very attentive, and tried very hard to make up for our bad initial experience.
Miruna Cilibia - 2 weeks ago
Authentic place with nice food, but there is still room for improvement (e.g., french onion soup was not at all one of the best I've tried). The service is good, and the wine selection is good. However, the tables and chairs are not comfortable at all—they are too small and there is no space between them. You feel like you are sharing a table with others around you, but this is normal for Paris due to the high number of tourists and locals.

Guinness, Magners cider - and delicious food. We love stopping here for a bit of a Irish respite from France. It’s a huge place with air conditioning, beer, fun, big screen, TVs. And good bathrooms.
The service has always been excellent, and the people are friendly.
Pulled pork nachos and bacon nachos come on a huge plate and they are delicious with lots of guacamole . Chicken sandwich is amazing.

Amazing views, atmosphere, food and drinks. Me and my friend didn’t catch the name of our server/bartender (told us he was from Signapore) but he was incredibly warm, welcoming and had the coolest playlist playing all throughout our stay. Would definitely recommend!!

My husband was yearning for a Guinness and we thought we would try Corcoran’s since it was right next to Sacre Coeur. Well we definitely felt deserving of a drink after all the stairs. Our bartenders Jesez and Mani were quick and friendly, and we had a great chat when they had time, Mani even made me a cocktail I hadn’t tried before, it was tasty. We also enjoyed some fried mozzarella and a chicken Caesar, so delicious. They made us feel very welcome so we returned the next night where they immediately acknowledged us and we had an even better time!
So! An addition to our visit from the last two nights! This was our third night in a row to visit this pub, and we weren’t supposed to go out but we love the atmosphere and we sat at the bar, the manager(sorry don’t know how to spell her name but she knows her stuff) recognized us and one of the bar men(Logan)was there again and also came to say hello(and help us with French, merci beaucoup Logan from Bretagne!). We also chatted with Eve and had a great time! The Guinness was awesome. We’ve both been in restaurants for some 30 years and this bar had well trained, friendly and knowledgeable staff, we really appreciated our time there! Come see us in St John, USVI!

The location is fantastic, in the charming Montmartre area of Paris, providing a quintessential Parisian atmosphere. We sampled a variety of dishes including the Onion Soup, Escargots, Grilled Octopus, and the special steak of the day—a perfectly cooked Lamb Shank. It's worth noting that the menu has been updated, so the food offerings we enjoyed were different from those mentioned in previous reviews.
If you're in Montmartre, I highly recommend giving Le Progress a visit for a memorable meal.

Excellent little French bistro with a friendly waitress. The food was high quality. The ambiance superb sitting out looking at the street. Yes it’s Montmartre are and yes it’s touristy (isn’t all of Paris really!). But it doesn’t necessarily mean it’s bad. The chef clearly cares about the food and the staff care about the patrons. Well worth stopping in
