La Fabrique is such a special place for us! ❤️ My boyfriend and I have been coming here since the beginning of our relationship, and it’s full of wonderful memories. ✨ The ambiance is warm and inviting, making it the perfect spot for a cozy brunch. ☕🥐
What makes this place truly stand out is the creativity of the chef 👨🍳—the menu changes every three weeks 📅, and every single time, the food exceeds our expectations! 🤩 We've tried so many different dishes, and each one has been an incredible experience. 🍽️👌
No doubt, La Fabrique will always be our go-to spot whenever we have brunch plans. 🥂 Highly recommended for anyone who loves delicious, innovative food in a great atmosphere! 🎉💛

I went on a Saturday afternoon for a birthday celebration. Having a reservation is better. I got the steak meal and got to say it was excellent. They also have a homemade bacon which is a must. As for the portion, there wasn't much. The service was one of the best I have ever seen. The waiter who was the guy with the glasses was super quick, attentive and got us what we needed without us even asking. The washroom was very nice as well.

Brunch was excellent. No doubt, I will return. The menu changes often so I just hope next time I get the same level of delicious options.
I found portions to be on the small size but the flavours are on point.
The interior of the restaurant is beautiful and cozy, although the metal chairs are not comfortable.
Staff is good - friendly and helpful. However, this is the type of restaurants that after 1h30 min will want you to move out your table, so not the best place to catch up with friends.

Let’s just get one thing out of the way. We ended up eating there FOUR times. The staff was super attentive, friendly and nice
So much of the food is top:
-beef tartare with duck fried French fries
-croissant with poultry and duck egg
-Rockefeller oyster
- French toast…oh god! With THICK cut bacon
- great wine selection
- pickles in ginger to take home
-braised beef!!
Thank you all making our visits wonderful!

We came to Montreal in the search of the best French toast in the city and we may have had the best of our lives. We LOVED this place and everything was perfect. You must keep this spot on your list and make a reservation. The food was excellent and the service top notch.

Nice location and really spacious, service was great but found the food to be a bit too basic, taste was ok but plate a bit bland, eggs were cooked really good though. If you’re looking for a nice looking spot and an easy brunch this is a solid option but you can get more for the same price in other brunch places.

Beautiful establishment. Great atmosphere. Great owners.
Had the calmars and the shrimp cocktail. Not a fan of tomato sauces in general which came with calamari. The melted butter had a beautiful flavor though, but didn't merge well for my palate with the seafood. The calmars were cooked to perfection. Was not the typical chewy plastic feel that you get in most restaurants. I may just be more prone to the greek style of cream sauces over tomato. Most of my friends enjoyed the Onion soup and the Tartare. We were hoping for the Lobster Ravioli but they weren't serving it at that moment during our special event. Super disappointed but I'm sure we will be back when it is back on the menu. The Pinot Noir was my Mom's Favourite over the Bourgogne.

Had brunch here on a warm and sunny September morning. The patio seating is the best. Inside is nice too but a little too dimmly lit for my taste. The menu is classic western style food - eggs, meat, quiche, fruits. Good selection of teas. Coffee is very good. They had no vegetarian or vegan options and that’s why I rated them at 4 for food.

Writing this review is a little conflicting, we enjoyed the service mostly, it was relatively slow because of a busy night but the staff kept their positive attitudes. One issue we felt is that we had a reservation and upon arrival a table was not available for us. That's fine we wait, but once seated we go to the washroom to wash our hands and walk by a mostly empty dining room with a few couples, the entire time we waited we could have been seated in their second dining room... What?!
Food is nice and prepared with love, however not necessarily worth the detour and hassle we felt. Portions are large and generous, this isn't a bad restaurant.

The food was so flavourful and colourful. Our waiter Kevin was top notch. The service was incredible. We can't wait to come back. The entrees were beautifully presented as well. My favourite was the lamb and crispy fried beef but every single item was delicious. What a wonderful experience for our table of 11 people.

BEST VALENTINE’S EVER!! I visited this restaurant with my fiancé yesterday evening and had the absolute best time. They had customized Valentine’s menus with a chocolate fountain!!! The servers were very attentive and made sure we had everything we needed.
It was my second time trying Ethiopian food and they made it even better. Also, my fiancé made the reservation early so I think that is helpful. Highly recommend for date night!

We ordered the vegan platter, composed of 4 vegetable-based dishes, and the Tibbs lamb. We were offered an option to have the food served on a common plate, which we took, and shared the meal, which proved to be thoroughly enjoyable. The food was delectable, and, what is more, joyfully colourful and beautifully presented, making the meal a real pleasure. Not to mention the kind and helpful staff. A lovely experience, and highly recommended if you’re in the area!

Whenever we’re in Montreal, Mamie Clafoutis is a staple stop for us to pick up a selection of delicious pastries to bring home to BC. Their pastries are consistently high-quality and incredibly flavorful, with each bite capturing the authentic taste of French baking. The standout items include their croissants, which are perfectly flaky and buttery, along with unique offerings like pistachio and almond croissants.
What truly sets this place apart, beyond the excellent pastries, is the customer service. The staff are always warm, helpful, and make the experience even better by assisting with selections and packaging up everything carefully for travel. They make you feel welcome, and you can tell they really care about their customers’ experience. Mamie Clafoutis is truly a gem in Montreal for anyone who loves top-notch pastries and wonderful service. Highly recommend stopping by!

The ambiance, design and architecture of this place is top. Really clean, sleek, and modern. They have plenty of bread and dessert options and some frozen also. The chocolatine I ordered from here was so deliciously buttery!

I miss the old setup 😐, the new setup feels like you are getting bakery items from a production line. It dosent have the local bakery vibe anymore. Food quality was same I always thought that the price is 20% more than it should have. If you are visiting Montreal for few days then I will not recommend this bakery anymore. Oh and after this renovation I saw the croissants are looking weird and the boxed cake slice do not have its corners (I mean why). If you are going then have a Mamie kouign , suisse , & almandine ( sorry for the Rant, I used to love this place )
Onurag - 5 months ago
After the renovations, the changes are more than architectural. What was once my main place for exercising my spoken French (ordering and chatting with the young and kind staff) is now self-serve with an app, scan the product and checkout with Google pay. Of all the places to go this route, Mamie Clafoutis is the last one I expected. Otherwise it is the same great baked goods and variety... with one exception - the ficelles with blue cheese and walnuts are now refrigerated (I am afraid, this change I literally cannot swallow...)
Assia Alexandrova - 4 months ago
Mamie Clafoutis serves an impressive array of pastries, of which the o mon dieu (chocolate croissant), chausson aux pommes, and the classic butter croissant remain our top choices when in Montreal. Their loft style boulangerie allows patrons to enjoy a separate seating space upstairs (plus there's a nicely tuned piano too). 4/5 as the chocolate almond croissant, latte, and flat white fell...flat for us. Chocolate almond croissant hardly had any chocolate, and the espresso drinks were a little bland for us. Otherwise, will be back for the other pastries next time we're in town.

This was the best Spanish food that we had in a while. We went for a 4 day trip to Montreal and thank god we found this gem of a restaurant. The atmosphere was amazing with Spanish music as background but low enough that you could have a conversation. Plus, the service was amazing everyone was super attentive to the point that we never asked for more water or sangria they were always on top of it. And they answered all of our questions.
We order the Valencia Discovery Menu, and it was perfect. It has a bit of everything. A octopus salad, cod croquettes, grilled shrimp and grilled squid as appetizers. And for the main dish a Paella Valenciana. Everything was savory and with very good portions. For drinks we went for a large Red Sangria Pitcher and it was well balanced. So good that we order 2 😂.
Overall our experience was excellent. Whenever we are back to Montreal we will be back. The only thing is that they didn’t had the live show but tbh it was not needed.

The food was beyond great, and the portions were good ( keep in mind this is a sea food restaurant, not an all you can eat sushi bar, lol)
The staff were so kind and welcoming we had the chance to be served outstandingly they complemted us with a porto wine from spain!
It's just perfect overall and worth the price! Totally recommend

Fantastic little garden with wholesome staff and great food options!
It's a bit of a walk from Metro stations, but it was still worth the effort. The menu may seem small at first, but it does actually offer enough variety for everyone.
The friendly environment paired with the quality of food, makes it feel like a home. Do try it!

Really great place for dinner. Servers are really nice and accommodating. The food is really good and affordable. It’s a must visit if you in this area. Outside terrace is beautiful. We had chicken and pork peta & kuskus with chicken all the items were great and more than enough for one person. Tap beer was also really great and only 5$. Sangria is also good 👍

Had a beautifully decorated restaurant with a front patio and beautiful backyard patio. There were lights and small touches to the decor to make the patio cozy. The service was exceptional. We were attended to with a smile from the moment we walked in to get a seat to when we left. They welcomed our many questions as we were visiting at the time and were unfamiliar with the menu.
The portion sizes were large and the food was filled with flavour. The fries seemed to be a fan favourite amongst the group we went with.
Would highly recommend this restaurant. Great vibes and great food !

Delicious and affordable grill plates!
We both had the picanha; about 10 oz steak that comes with feijoada, rice and some crunchy things (no idea what it was, but it was tasty!).
Don't be fooled by the appearances, this plate is very filling (and flavourful)!

I grew up in Brazil and since leaving the country in 1978, have visited Brazilian restaurants in Mexico, New York, Washington DC and other cities. Acajou is the BEST, most authentic one of all, hands down. My wife had the feijoada and pão de queijo and I had the risoles and moqueca. Childhood memories came back to me of my days in São Paulo. Absolutely fantastic food at reasonable prices.

The Valentine's roll specials were lackluster, but outside of that it's always delicious.

I had high expectations, as built up by my daughter and son in law. Although not vegan themselves. They returned numerous times.
It was wonderful. Also first time I go to restaurant with my 3 month old grandson. Luckily he was peaceful and asleep all dinner.
Definitely make reservations and try this place out.

My sister and I stumbled onto this place yesterday and we are SO happy that we did! The restaurant was really beautifully decorated, it was fancy and relaxing, and really great for a date or one-on-one experience as you could have a conversation without it being too loud - overall, super cozy chic vibes. Our waiter Rubel was so friendly, attentive and had the greatest recommendations for us too. Huge portions, incredibly flavourful, fluffy naan... My sister is vegetarian and I love lamb so there were many options for both of us. The food was honestly very fresh and delicious, we even had enough for lunches the next day! Honestly all in all, we are already planning to go back and bring our families because it was a wonderful and delicious experience... Thank you Rubel, can't wait to see you next time!

My friend and I shared a couple of dishes last night and loved everything! We had Dal Makhani, Paneer Tikka Masala, garlic naan and basmati rice. So delicious! For dessert we had chai and split the cardamom creme brulee. We would have liked more of a cardamom flavour but the creme brulee itself was very good and a generous portion. Our server (didn't get his name) was very good too. Would absolutely come back here next time I'm in Montreal!

My mom was staying at the hostel next door and we ordered some bites from here to enjoy on the hostel roof. We ordered a few things that were all excellent, but the dahi gol gappa was especially worth mentioning. My mom said "this is the best thing I've ever eaten in my LIFE!" It packed so many different flavours into a tiny bite.
The staff were also really patient, friendly, and funny while we took ages to decide what we want. We also had drinks and my paloma was very well balanced.
