I've been coming here for years and it's always delicious! Family owned restaurant, traditional Portuguese food, comforting and amazingly good. It's really affordable and you can have live music on Saturday nights.

A hidden Portuguese restaurant. Happy
To have tried this restaurant! Their dishes are pretty big and everything was amazing. Would definitely go back there for their lamb and their seafood dishes.

Cozy place , great ambiance, amazing staff , be prepared to wait to both get a table and for your food , delicious grilled calamari, chicken plate was a big portion , however the chicken could use a sauce on it ( little dry ) .
I recommend this place if you’re in the area !

I had a fantastic experience at this Vegan Indian family-run restaurant! They answered all my questions clearly. The service was friendly and welcoming. I tried the Thali and Pistachio Kulfi–both were absolutely delicious. I’ll definitely be visiting again!

best indian food I have ever had in Montreal, even the Mango Lassi is the best. All of the dishes were veggie so thats a plus. Service is also lovely and one thing I adored was the cups and jar like ancient times, I felt in an episode of Game Of Thrones.

Amazing food, service and atmosphere. The food was warm, homely, and delicious! The staff was so kind and the service was so quick. I got Thali B with korma and aloo matar, chai and pista kulfi. I appreciated everything here. The chai was how proper chai would be, the food was so filling and the pista kulfi tasted like a dream. And to add to all of this, the food is so reasonably priced! I'd wanted to try proper Indian vegan food at a restaurant (not having to thrive on one vegan dish like aubergine and not having to worry about cross-contamination) for such a long time and I am grateful for each morsel of food I had the privilege of eating here. This was my first time visiting an Indian vegan restaurant in my 7 years of being vegan and I feel sad that I don't live in Montreal to savor this deliciousness more often. Thank you for being awesome!
This is the kind of place you'd want to bring all your loved ones along for a celebration. I will definitely be here the next time I visit Montreal!

Hindusthali is AMAZING! On a vraiment aimé! 😋🤤
We all got their Thali (Daal + 3 dishes of your choice + Salad + Rice + Papadum). My favorite was the Rajma (red bean curry), while my friends raved about the Baingan Bartha (eggplant curry) and also the okra curry (whose name I forgot)... We left thoroughly satisfied and full. 😋
I appreciate the owner's passion when describing the menu and answering all our questions - it really adds a special touch. I wish I lived closer so I could go more often. Encore merci pour cette expérience! ❤️🌱

After a long day of driving and a long flight from Calgary, stumbling on Restaurant Hindusthali was a gift from the divine. This family-run restaurant has a warm and welcoming vibe, the staff are charming and respectful and the food is superlative. I am definitely going back!

We randomly discovered this restaurant and I honestly couldn't be happier! The food is SO tasty, it literally feels as if you're eating traditional home made food. The portions are BIG (we had left overs for two days!) and the staff is super friendly and helpful.

Very friendly service but so-so food. Couscous tasted old, chicken overcooked. Vegetables were good though. OK food to order if you really don't feel like cooking, but not exceptional.

This place has ok food at good value. The one item that brings it from a 3 star to a 4 star is their fries. I've tried several things on their menu, but I keep coming back only for the fries.

This is a very different type of high end coffee shop, and the uniqueness of it makes it very appealing. It has a Japanese feel to it, the onigiri lunch options and miso soup are excellent, and the siphon style coffee is also top notch; its also something I've never seen elsewhere in Montreal. New owners have taken over, and the quality seems to have been maintained. Overall a great place to sit, eat and have coffee.

my most favorite cafe in Montreal ☕️ I love the architectural space alone, it’s perfect for meeting friends or studying. I always get their soups and bowl or onigiri combo, all the flavors are so comforting and delicious. I tried a chai latte the first time but I don’t really recommend it, my go-to is their specialty syphon coffee !

A near perfect cafe: great coffee (the cortado was amazing), bright and spacious, good and unique food options, places to work and also to relax—reading in a hammock anyone? Highly recommend if you’re in the area!

Love this place, with its spacious and vintage feel, along with Japanese lunch (this was the first place to get onigiri and siphon coffee in Montreal). I would love to return at an earlier time to be able to try their other dishes before they sell out.

If you want sushi with reasonable price, this is the place that you can never miss. The sushi is top-notch with fresh ingredients and their homemade mayo sauce is always a hit. All the poke bowls are recommended as well, my favorite is the poulet poke one!

One of the best sushi spot!!! My friend recommended me there and i really love it! Very fresh, high quality and affordable! Go support them :)

Honestly, it's the best sushi I've ever had. I was reluctant because I hadn't had any before, so I had my first ones there and loved them, but since then I've had the opportunity to have other sushi and I can say that the others aren't as good as theirs.

First time I'm going here with my husband and the food was pretty good. The service was quick and it's right infront of the metro Rosemont. The place is pretty simple.
If you're looking a place to grab some poke or sushi takeout after a day at work, it's a nice place to go, just bit pricey.

This restaurant offers a delightful dining experience with a diverse menu and dishes bursting with flavor. The ambiance is warm and inviting, While the food is good, the service could be more attentive and efficient to truly elevate the overall experience. With a bit of improvement, it has the potential to be outstanding!

We came for the Eggs Benedict and it absolutely delivered. Thin, crispy, and breaded chicken that paired deliciously with the poached egg and house hollandaise. Tasty breakfast potatoes and salad on the side.
Cute and cozy cafe with a great coffee selection.

One of the best brunch places. Amazing ambiance and delicious food. Service was a bit slow but the wait was worth waiting. Totally recommend the Benedict eggs with salmon.
Our waiter was very kind and helpful.
I would return for sure.

Deserves all best comments! I’ve enjoyed my experience, got to mention that it was an experience, for all of these reasons (Friendly service, the Salmon Benedictine that I’ve ordered was on point, the hot coffee we got, clean space, deco is nice, you can take your time eating without feeling pressured)
Glad I got a breakfast/brunch/coffee spot next my place.
