This is my second time coming here and I don’t even know where to begin! From the service to the decor they have here is great! The food is even better than what you can expect. My wife got some latte art to begin with and she ordered the classic eggs Benedict and I ordered the indecisive carrot pancakes that were incredibly delicious! The servers made us feel right at home and greet you coming and leaving the restaurant. There is a line up in front but I can honestly say it’s worth the wait. Definitely can’t wait to come back and eat here again.

Super delicious for breakfast - bring your appetite! Loved the names of the dishes, they totally fit the feelings. Our party tried two of the “indecisive” breakfast, and a “I’ll have it all!”
Real maple syrup seals the deal. Delicious.

Located on Mont Royal Ave, the street is closed for cars and the whole street becomes pedestrian only. We sit on the patio with shades in the morning. The staffs are super friendly and food is amazing. Just be mindful with their enormous food portions. The portion is bigger than what picture shows.

It was my first time going to Montreal and the first brunch i ate there was amazing . Everything was great( food, environment ,staff) . The variety of food was so great that anyone with any taste can find something to eat there ,only one bad point was that we had to wait for more than an hour for our turn to go to the restaurant.

Freshly baked pancakes, so gooooood! Perfect with Nutella and strawberries! Also pairs well with their own maple syrup.
Rejuvenate 4/5
Mango and pineapple smoothie, too large to finish lol.
Rose Paloma 4.5/5
Alcoholic, pretty good.
Oreo Cookies Milkshake 2/5
Too sweet!! Can only taste the sweetness, can't taste the Oreo flavor anymore.

The sauce was EVERYTHING !! It was so good ! They make their own bread and it is fresh, crispy on the outside and fluffy inside, perfect to be turned into a delicious sandwich. I had the panko chicken, although the meat was dry, when mixed with everything else, it was still as delicious.
I want to try their kebab next time !

Note: THEY ONLY TAKE CASH OR DEBIT. Really good Middle Eastern (Tunisian?) Sandwich shop. They make their bread in house. The ingredients are fresh. The flavor is strong, but natural. And the ambiance is good. Quirky and trendy with outdoor seating on the street.
The price is OK too at $18 for sandwich, fries, and drink. The fries tastes how McDonald's fries back in the day used to taste - so good! I ordered the Thon Tunisien which came with tuna, greens, their Kahwa sauce, and tomatoes. Very very filling! And they are fast.
Highly recommend.

A Gem! The fried chicken sandwich never disappoints. Make sure to go for a take out instead of delivery because they make the pita fresh and the fried chicken is the crispiest when you have it right out of Kahwa’s window. The kitchen staff pours a lot of love into these affordable and mouthwatering sandwiches.

Kahwa Cafe is a delightful spot for sandwiches, with freshly baked bread that's a highlight. The sandwiches are properly seasoned, enhancing the overall taste. However, the filling portion, particularly the chicken, has noticeably decreased, which is a slight letdown. Additionally, they don’t accept credit cards, which can be inconvenient. Despite these minor issues, the quality of the ingredients and the flavors make it worth a visit. Overall, it's a cozy café with room for small improvements.

Everything is super fresh and made in front of you!! The service is good and the prices match the quality. I will say they are very filling and very heavy, I would think this is NEARLY the best sandwich in Montreal if it had something to add a little brightness/freshness

Tasty couscous and friendly service in a fine-dining like resto. The only thing I did’t like was the hot spice in the food, it was too much for me. If you’re the same don’t think of trying their harissa 🔥(friendly advice). Else I recommend this place, enjoy!

At first, nobody came to welcome us at the door for a good 20-30 minutes. The owner was nice and took his time to explain the menu. We didn’t have the best experience with the royal coucous. The merguez and lamb wasn’t too flavourful. We recommend trying the soup and beef briks.

I am so glad we chose this restaurant for a relaxing family lunch. The owner Noureddine was kind and welcoming. We enjoyed a large, filling meal with cucumber & tomato salad, assorted olives, pastilla au poule, vegetable soup, lamb tagine, kofta meatballs, couscous, chicken over rice, and then topped it off with tea, coffee & dates. Wow! Each dish was better than the last. All the meat was tender, the vegetables were fresh & well-cooked, and everything was seasoned perfectly. The environment is warm and relaxed. I wish we lived in the area so we could come again and again.

Great discovery in plateau Montreal. I recommend the royal degustation menu . The owner is charming and the portions are huge. The flavors are out of this world. A great place for sharing with friends bring your own wine. A 5 stars!

I haven’t tried a lot of Moroccan/Algerian restaurants in Montreal, but this one is really one of the places I will definitely come back to. The cook was so nice that he offered me a free salad to start my meal. I tried their veal Tajin and it melts in your mouth. It was so good. Atmosphere is warm and inviting with some Moroccan/Algerian songs playing in the background. The menu is in French only but it wasn’t that hard to order from

Honestly, the best tacos I’ve had in Montreal !! 😍😍😍
The tortillas are always tasty and warm and the meat is always nicely cooked and sooo juicy !!🤤🤤
I love that they also give you 3 different types of salsas with increasing degree of spiciness!!🥵 so you can enjoy different flavours with all your tacos!!
I always get the Horchatas as well! I think it’s an amazing chaser for the bold and spicy flavours of the tacos! Plus it’s refreshing and a milky heaven !!:p
HIGHLY recommend the tacos pastor, suadero and chorizo !!☺️☺️
I will come back every time I cost Montreal!;)

The best most authentic tacos in the city. We had salsa, Flautitas, Chuleta, and güera. It’s not easy to find authentic Mexican food in Montreal. This is the best I’ve had. Don’t expect to come in and have a huge American style taco, because it’s the real stuff. I highly recommend eating here. They are friendly, kind, and the atmosphere is casual and comfortable. I am in love and will be coming back as often as I can!!

I really loved the tacos and tortas! The salsas are amazing. The best part is the service and the good attitude of Daniela she served us kindly and was lovely. Highly recommend!

Stumbled by this restaurant while walking in the plateau. Turns out it’s amazing. Friendly vibe, amazing waiter. Torta was absolutely delicious, and I like the sizing of the food. Since you can eat like 5 tacos you can pick a variety of them. We saw others having horchata and ordered some as well, was phenomenal. I have only good things to say

I didn’t think I would have the best Spanish tortilla of my life in Montreal, but here we are. Amazing tapas in a pleasant tavern setting with a pretty terrace in the summer.
Friendly and efficient service. Also love their happy hour special which is like 15$ per person for vermouth, olives, and pan con tomate.
Will be back!!

Best tapas in the city! As a vegetarian there were many options to choose from. The food and sangria was delicious. Our favourite was the eggplant chips and tres leches cake. Not to mention our server, José, was so kind and knowledgeable. Everything he recommended was amazing and he kept us laughing the whole time. We cannot wait to go back!

I recently visited a restaurant called Ibericos, and I was truly impressed. The flavors and combinations of their dishes were absolutely delightful. Everything I tried was incredibly delicious.
The service was excellent as well; the staff was attentive and friendly, which added to the overall wonderful dining experience. I highly recommend Ibericos to anyone looking for a fantastic meal with great service!

The food was delicious & very pleasant to share. All the seafood tasted super fresh and the menu has a big variety of dishes from tapas to paella.
Service went very well, checking in from time to time making sure we had everything we asked for. 10/10 would recommend, definitely coming back again. Best Spanish food in town!

The food was ok but really nothing more. The service is also quite slow (Wednesday) so be prepared for that. The mushroom appetizer was decent but the sauce was very watery. The churros were terrible. The paella wasn’t bad but not memorable. Overall disappointing place and will not be returning.

I love Bily Kun. This place has a beautiful distingtive vibe. It is never empty. Cocktails are good, staff are nice and the crowd is cool.

Cool Place, the ostriches on the wall are real, the owner is a friend with a ostrich farm owner and when they pass away he gives the heads away. Pretty cool. Good absinthe, cute staff.
Dimitri Chouteau - a month ago
Laidback atmosphere, live jazz and a welcoming staff, makes Bily Kun my favourite bar. The taxidermied ostrich heads dotting the walls are an inspired touch to a room that must have been an old man's tavern in a different era. I was told that the heads come from an ostrich farm outside Montreal. Apparently, before Bily Kun first opened, a false ceiling hid the gorgeous mouldings that were only discovered during renovations.
Today, you'll find a selection of Czechoslovakian drinks on the menu, as the owner has an affinity for everything Czech. Actually, Bily Kun means "white horse" in Czechoslovakian and is the name of a bar in Czechoslovakia that the owner enjoyed. I heard he also owns the similarly named downtown bar called the Cheval Blanc.
Bily Kun makes a mean mixed drink, but if you're looking for something hard-core and traditionally Czech, try the chilled Slivovitz.

Easily accessible place located on the Mont Royal Av. steps away from the Mont Royal metro station.
The place is very small inside and can barely accommodate more than 6 people.
I expected better food as it wasn’t very delicious and unfortunately took a lot of time.
The place needs some cleaning and the staff should do better work dealing with customers.

Food was really good! Wish they would sell beers to accompany the food specially during the summer.

These burritos were so so good! I had the seasoned chicken and my husband had the pastor burrito. You choose your toppings and then they wrap it up and heat it in the burrito press. They serve it with a side of tortilla chips topped with guacamole and sour cream.

Been a client for 10 years. What made this place so special seems to be mostly gone. Used to be the best burrito in Montreal. Since the installation of the self serve machine the quality of the service is non existent and the quality of the food went down.
I imagine that the people who were running the place are retired now. Really sad because it was perfect how it was.

Familial restaurant owned and created by Mexican grandparents, real atmosphere, and excellent food!
We took a nachos plate (with guacamole and meat), shared it between two people and left the restaurant with a full stomach ;)

Really cozy space, really nice waitress who was so friendly and patient with us. I got venison for the first time, portion felt really big. Escargots were very creamy and nice. Thankful to have had a wonderful dinner here, though bear in mind if you don’t get a main you’re required to get three appetizers!

Service was amazing, atmosphere was very cozy and the food….. THE FOOD WAS FANTASTIC. We ordered fois gras as appetizers, the duck confit and bavette for main and crème brûlée for dessert. Everything was so rich and flavorful! Really amazing and authentic French cuisine. Will definitely go back to try other dishes.

First, this is a BYO restaurant. There is a wine and liquor store about a block away on the way from our hotel. We ordered an eggplant appetizer and tomato basil soup as starters. Main dishes were venison, salmon, lamb shank and cassoulet. This may have been the best venison I ever had. The other dishes were also delicious and prepared with changes as requested. The chocolate dessert was also very good. Sorry about the out of focus venison but you can see it was medium rare.
Lastly, it is a tiny place with only one server who was amazingly efficient and friendly.

Très bon restaurant français au plateau. Bring your own wine 🍷. Good quality of food with reasonable prices. I had seafood gratin as starter and cassoulet as the main dish, but it was too much food for me. Excellent service. We will go back again

Cute little vegan cafe!
Stopped in more a quick bite for breakfast and their sandwich options did not disappoint. My partner got a Jamaican patty which was also delicious.
Not pictured were the tasty pastries we ordered for takeout. Absolutely delicious!

Came here on my birthday for a nice little brunch meal to start my day. I have to admit, based on the look of the food, I was expecting a mediocre meal, so good, but not great. However, the croissants taste awesome! And my sandwich (mushroom coleslaw) was out of this world! If I ever come back, I will definitely be dropping by again. For the owners, get that poor girl some help. She's way too busy for one person.

Always appreciate a vegan space like this one. Being able to have a croissant is so rare and special! The chai was good(sweet) and the pastries pretty yummy. Generally a nice space and cool staff. Will definitely try more next time I’m in town to really get a sense for food quality.

Incredible takeout sushi place. The proce is definitely worth the quality!! Combo L is their best option if you love hand rolls and sashimi.

I was looking forward to trying their sushi Tokyo, cause they looked so fresh and flavourful on their customers’ pictures. I didn’t expect anything amazing, but this was just terrible. Both my boyfriend and I ordered different sushi types and they were all bland, dry and flavourless. The tuna wasn’t the bright red that I expected in the pictures, it was almost a colourless light brown/pink… same for much of the other fish.
The snack options are good, prices are decent for those. As for the sushi, not worth the price. About the same as a restaurant which I’d rather go to.

Whenever we’re walking around the area and need a quick bite, we always pass by here to get their karage chicken and takoyakis. They also serve poke bowls which are delicious and very well portioned. There’s also a bunch of available asian products from snacks to drinks to tea and sauces. Staff is great and everything is made fresh. The opening hours need to be corrected cause sometimes they’re closed before 8pm

Interesting store …. Basic shelves …. Alloy a/ steel metallic shelves thru out. All items displayed as is but many more items from Taiwan and Japan compare to most other stores which mostly import made in china items.
Decent price. Not overly expensive but not the lowest but really reasonable.
The take out food section is also great for those want a cheaper choice of food for take out. Great in the summer as the street is closed for pedestrians and many resting and sit down places.
