The only downside is waiting outside for 45 mins and portions weren’t that big, but the food was amazing! The menu is very impressive and the variety is nice. The disco bathroom was definitely the highlight. Even tho they were super busy the staff was very kind

What a fun place! The menu is very creative. The team is so nice and stylish! Everyone seems to fit the style of this very neat diner. The food was great! I had the California Omelette and the stacked pancakes with Nutella and Strawberries! Lots and lots of food but had to try both as they looked really good…and delicious they were for sure! The location is great. The neighborhood is live and bustling! I Will definitely come back. Kudos to the team and the owners of this place! The bathrooms are super fun actually! Disco themed…

Food was absolutely amazing we loved the indecisive. Portions were massive especially for the price. The dessert was so good, the tiramisu french toast was my favorite. The servers were really nice and service was great. This place was so good we had to come back to it for the 2 days that we were in Montreal.

Exceptional food and very upbeat, friendly staff. We had the Strawberry Nutella pancakes, Lemon Blueberry pancakes, a Veggie Omelette, and Huevos Rancheros. The flavours were decadent and amazing and they nailed every detail. Our server, Yasmina was amazing. Can’t wait to go back!

Visited from Toronto and this was my 3rd time trying this restaurant! Food portions are grand and so delicious! Staff is friendly and attentive. Had an amazing breakfast! Kid friendly too! Would recommend.

what a discovery this place is. Everything is perfect, the bread, it is hot and crispy on the outside, warm and soft on the inside. We had the panko chicken and tuna. The sauce is just incredible and one super important thing, the sandwich is all at temperature. I recommend 100%.

The sauce was EVERYTHING !! It was so good ! They make their own bread and it is fresh, crispy on the outside and fluffy inside, perfect to be turned into a delicious sandwich. I had the panko chicken, although the meat was dry, when mixed with everything else, it was still as delicious. I want to try their kebab next time !

Note: THEY ONLY TAKE CASH OR DEBIT. Really good Middle Eastern (Tunisian?) Sandwich shop. They make their bread in house. The ingredients are fresh. The flavor is strong, but natural. And the ambiance is good. Quirky and trendy with outdoor seating on the street. The price is OK too at $18 for sandwich, fries, and drink. The fries tastes how McDonald's fries back in the day used to taste - so good! I ordered the Thon Tunisien which came with tuna, greens, their Kahwa sauce, and tomatoes. Very very filling! And they are fast. Highly recommend.

First off, the kindest woman helped us choose our food. Great service! The coffee was amazing and the sandwiches were delicious. Some of the best sandwiches I have ever had. The bread is homemade and the quality of the filling is fantastic. We even went back a second time during our trip to Montreal. Just too good! (and SUPER well priced!!!)

A Gem! The fried chicken sandwich never disappoints. Make sure to go for a take out instead of delivery because they make the pita fresh and the fried chicken is the crispiest when you have it right out of Kahwa’s window. The kitchen staff pours a lot of love into these affordable and mouthwatering sandwiches.

Tasty couscous and friendly service in a fine-dining like resto. The only thing I did’t like was the hot spice in the food, it was too much for me. If you’re the same don’t think of trying their harissa 🔥(friendly advice). Else I recommend this place, enjoy!

I am so glad we chose this restaurant for a relaxing family lunch. The owner Noureddine was kind and welcoming. We enjoyed a large, filling meal with cucumber & tomato salad, assorted olives, pastilla au poule, vegetable soup, lamb tagine, kofta meatballs, couscous, chicken over rice, and then topped it off with tea, coffee & dates. Wow! Each dish was better than the last. All the meat was tender, the vegetables were fresh & well-cooked, and everything was seasoned perfectly. The environment is warm and relaxed. I wish we lived in the area so we could come again and again.

At first, nobody came to welcome us at the door for a good 20-30 minutes. The owner was nice and took his time to explain the menu. We didn’t have the best experience with the royal coucous. The merguez and lamb wasn’t too flavourful. We recommend trying the soup and beef briks.

Great discovery in plateau Montreal. I recommend the royal degustation menu . The owner is charming and the portions are huge. The flavors are out of this world. A great place for sharing with friends bring your own wine. A 5 stars!

The service was amazing. Super nice and attentive. Loved the ambiance, the music… On the other hand, the beef had a lot of pieces of fat, like more than half the meat in my tacos :( (I had 3, and all had a lot of pieces of fat in them) Not too sure if it’s custom in this type of cuisine, but I haven’t had this many pieces in any other restaurant that served the same dish. As for the other two, missing flavor, but texture was good!! Probably would not return, but for people who don’t mind pieces of fat, worth trying 😊

The best most authentic tacos in the city. We had salsa, Flautitas, Chuleta, and güera. It’s not easy to find authentic Mexican food in Montreal. This is the best I’ve had. Don’t expect to come in and have a huge American style taco, because it’s the real stuff. I highly recommend eating here. They are friendly, kind, and the atmosphere is casual and comfortable. I am in love and will be coming back as often as I can!!

Honestly, the best tacos I’ve had in Montreal !! 😍😍😍 The tortillas are always tasty and warm and the meat is always nicely cooked and sooo juicy !!🤤🤤 I love that they also give you 3 different types of salsas with increasing degree of spiciness!!🥵 so you can enjoy different flavours with all your tacos!! I always get the Horchatas as well! I think it’s an amazing chaser for the bold and spicy flavours of the tacos! Plus it’s refreshing and a milky heaven !!:p HIGHLY recommend the tacos pastor, suadero and chorizo !!☺️☺️ I will come back every time I cost Montreal!;)

Stumbled by this restaurant while walking in the plateau. Turns out it’s amazing. Friendly vibe, amazing waiter. Torta was absolutely delicious, and I like the sizing of the food. Since you can eat like 5 tacos you can pick a variety of them. We saw others having horchata and ordered some as well, was phenomenal. I have only good things to say

To be honest, my overall dining experience in Montreal was a bit disappointing. I probably had too high expectations, and that led to my letdown. I had high hopes for **Ibéricos**, and why wouldn’t I? Venezuelans are known for offering great customer service, and no matter where you go, they always manage to make you smile or have a good time. That being said, it may not be entirely the owner’s or chef’s fault, but if I were to offer some advice, I’d suggest they focus on improving customer service. They could definitely work on making sure their staff provides better service. We were never greeted when we arrived, and a few of the staff members just looked at us and ignored us as if we didn’t matter. It wasn’t until about 10 minutes later that we had to ask where we could sit. Honestly, the service felt cold and disinterested. The food, however, was excellent – I have no complaints there. The paella was delicious, with the socarrat cooked perfectly, and the presentation was spot-on, 10/10. The Basque cheesecake was a nice way to end the meal and definitely made the experience a bit better. It was fantastic, 10/10. P.S. I’m not sure if he was a waiter or a busboy, and he didn’t introduce himself, but he spoke only French and had dark skin. Thanks to him, my time at the restaurant ended on a positive note. He was a really nice guy, and I hope they take care of him.

Interesting Spanish food in Montreal. I had brunch with their table d’hôte menu, which has a starter and main dish for $25. The food portion is good. For the coffee, it was mediocre.

Over the past couple years, I have spent a total of six months living in Spain, and this food teleported me back right to a little outdoor patio off La Rambla in Barcelona. It encompassed what makes Spanish so incredible: clean flavors and fresh quality ingredients that speak for themselves. The patatas bravas were both unique and authentic and would hold their own at any local cafe in Spain, with the right amount of crunch and a balance of flavors between the spice and mildness of the two sauces. The pan con tomate on traditional Catalan coca bread was just perfect. I don't normally leave reviews on here, but this place deserves to have five stars and all the love. Thank you for giving us a little piece of Spain in Montreal, between the incredible tapas and cozy vibes, and even down to the minute details, like serving Vichy water and carajillos.

I didn’t think I would have the best Spanish tortilla of my life in Montreal, but here we are. Amazing tapas in a pleasant tavern setting with a pretty terrace in the summer. Friendly and efficient service. Also love their happy hour special which is like 15$ per person for vermouth, olives, and pan con tomate. Will be back!!

Lovely and big bar, lots of drinks variety, good music and even better bathroom style lol. They had a czech vodka that goes on most of the drinks and its really damn good.

Laidback atmosphere, live jazz and a welcoming staff, makes Bily Kun my favourite bar. The taxidermied ostrich heads dotting the walls are an inspired touch to a room that must have been an old man's tavern in a different era. I was told that the heads come from an ostrich farm outside Montreal. Apparently, before Bily Kun first opened, a false ceiling hid the gorgeous mouldings that were only discovered during renovations. Today, you'll find a selection of Czechoslovakian drinks on the menu, as the owner has an affinity for everything Czech. Actually, Bily Kun means "white horse" in Czechoslovakian and is the name of a bar in Czechoslovakia that the owner enjoyed. I heard he also owns the similarly named downtown bar called the Cheval Blanc. Bily Kun makes a mean mixed drink, but if you're looking for something hard-core and traditionally Czech, try the chilled Slivovitz.

Easily accessible place located on the Mont Royal Av. steps away from the Mont Royal metro station. The place is very small inside and can barely accommodate more than 6 people. I expected better food as it wasn’t very delicious and unfortunately took a lot of time. The place needs some cleaning and the staff should do better work dealing with customers.

These burritos were so so good! I had the seasoned chicken and my husband had the pastor burrito. You choose your toppings and then they wrap it up and heat it in the burrito press. They serve it with a side of tortilla chips topped with guacamole and sour cream.

Really delicious delightfully fully loaded tacos and chimichangas. Bit pricier but its a small mom n pop type shop and also on the plateau so definitely understandable. Not a lot of places to sit so if you're more than like 2 or 3 people Id reccomend doing take out. Super close to the mount royal metro so accesible by walking for sure.

Really cute and intimate resto with a nice vibe. We really enjoyed our dinner here! The waitress was super kind and the food tasted great! We ordered the escargot, the venison and the lamb shank. I found the red wine sauce however a bit too salty for my liking. The pieces we got also looked much smaller than what we saw in the other reviews. I really appreciated that every element of the dish including the vegetables were well prepared and cooked. I can tell that the chefs take pride in their food. Overall great place for an intimate date night or a celebration.

Really cozy space, really nice waitress who was so friendly and patient with us. I got venison for the first time, portion felt really big. Escargots were very creamy and nice. Thankful to have had a wonderful dinner here, though bear in mind if you don’t get a main you’re required to get three appetizers!

I was looking forward to trying their sushi Tokyo, cause they looked so fresh and flavourful on their customers’ pictures. I didn’t expect anything amazing, but this was just terrible. Both my boyfriend and I ordered different sushi types and they were all bland, dry and flavourless. The tuna wasn’t the bright red that I expected in the pictures, it was almost a colourless light brown/pink… same for much of the other fish. The snack options are good, prices are decent for those. As for the sushi, not worth the price. About the same as a restaurant which I’d rather go to.

Interesting store …. Basic shelves …. Alloy a/ steel metallic shelves thru out. All items displayed as is but many more items from Taiwan and Japan compare to most other stores which mostly import made in china items. Decent price. Not overly expensive but not the lowest but really reasonable. The take out food section is also great for those want a cheaper choice of food for take out. Great in the summer as the street is closed for pedestrians and many resting and sit down places.

Whenever we’re walking around the area and need a quick bite, we always pass by here to get their karage chicken and takoyakis. They also serve poke bowls which are delicious and very well portioned. There’s also a bunch of available asian products from snacks to drinks to tea and sauces. Staff is great and everything is made fresh. The opening hours need to be corrected cause sometimes they’re closed before 8pm

An excellent spot with a wide variety of food and great service. The chicken was a bit too salty for my taste, but overall, the price-to-quality ratio is good. This cafe holds a special place in our heart - it opened about 12 years ago, during our final year at the nearby Conservatoire, and it quickly became our go-to spot for daily lunches. A truly memorable place 😊

Great selection of hot and cold foods, and frozen meals. The staff were really friendly. Everything looked very yummy. Mid-range prices. You can get a meal with a hot item, rice, a salad, and hummus for $15 A small, nice seating area.

Tasty sandwich at an affordable price. Staff is nice and friendly, they will be happy to take their time and introduce the customers to their best selling sandwiches. The space will probably fit just 4-5 people for dine in so better to do take out.

Awesome little spot for Lebanese eats and groceries. The staff here are so helpful, kind, and friendly. Multiple staff members were eager to help me and kind enough to give me the “first time welcome”, walking me through how their shop worked. I ordered at random and everything I had was delicious! You can order things to eat in, to take out, or even take home some of the base ingredients and prepared meals. Seems relatively healthy and high quality ingredients. A gem in Montreal!
