After reading some negative reviews I wasn’t sure what to expect . However the service, food and food presentation was exceptional! We eat around the globe but this restaurant really stood out . We had the restaurants anniversary dinner and it was so good ! Table side they flambé the excellent steak ! Before that a in house baked bread was brought with churned butter . Attention was giving to fill our sparkling water or anything else we needed. Dessert was so yummy and besides the chocolates and mouse they brought out cotton candy it looked like it was a tree . All in all a very pleasant experience despite the fact they were super busy . The price for dinner was reasonable considering the service and super food we had !

If Montreal had Michelin, I don't think this place would earn a star.
I have been to many Michelin Star restaurants in US, France, to name a few. This place needs to do better obviously.
Food is inventive. We tried the 8 course menu and there were a few items that had good combinations of. But none of them came out impressive.
Service is good but servers did not take time to introduce the origin or other interesting aspects of the dish. Instead, they just went over what the dish was - it's hard for guests to appreciate the chef's creation in this way.
Expect 3 hours for the tasting experience

This was a culinary experience not to be missed! Definitely do the full tasting menu here, takes about 3 hrs total tho, so plan ahead. Don't want to ruin the surprise so here are only some of the pics. Highly recommended. If you want more than just another dinner outing, then come here for lots of surprises and table side shows etc. Best fine dining meal in Montreal imo

My wife and I were treated to dine at the acclaimed Jerome Ferrer’s Beaver Hall restaurant as part of the MTLàTABLE event.
The ambiance at Beaver Hall exudes a charming, elegant yet classic bistro feel that perfectly complements the inventive dishes served. The MTLàTABLE menu showcased seasonal ingredients in a creative, well-executed way, highlighting the chef’s mastery in blending traditional French cuisine flavors with modern twists.
Each course was beautifully plated, and the flavors were nothing short of exquisite.
The wine pairing was equally impressive and enhanced the meal wonderfully.
The service was prompt and attentive, and the staff's knowledge about each dish added a personal touch to the dining experience.
However, the one aspect that could use improvement was the cleanliness of the washrooms. For a restaurant of this caliber, a cleaner and better-maintained restroom would align more closely with the high standards set elsewhere.
It’s a minor flaw in an otherwise stellar experience.
Overall, Jerome Ferrer’s Beaver Hall is an excellent choice for anyone looking to explore upscale dining in Montreal, especially during MTLàTABLE.

Can’t complain about the service. Loved the second course, the soup which they called cappuccino something and the main courses(lobster / steak). Dessert didn’t meet my expectations, I left more than a half of it untouched. Well honestly, I wasn’t that full after all 8 courses as in some other comments.

Food was amazing! From the Cobb salad to the Fish & Chips, everything we received at our table was delicious 👏🏻 My gin cocktail named the “My Lord” I believe, was not good at all though.. That and the service was lacking a bit but overall I would return here regardless 😁

My boyfriend & I made a quick trip to Montreal for his birthday. This pub was very close to our hotel and was the last stop for the night after exploring the Old Port area for over 4 hours by foot.
The pub had a old charm feel and was filled with both locals and travellers. Both our bartender and server were friendly, energetic and happy to answer our questions. Our jalapeño poppers were delicious!

We absolutely loved this pub (we went twice during our trip)! It is so cozy and in a fun location. The food was excellent, and the beer was fresh and crisp.
The staff was friendly, and the poutine was spot on. Give me a side of gravy and a straw, please! Loved the bangers and mash and the curry was delectable.
We highly recommend this as a spot to chill and unwind.

Really cool place. Classic rock on play. Good selection of beer and shots. What more could you ask for (well I would ask that a bottle of Jack Daniels be left at room temperature. Much more flavourful that way).

Stopped by for an afternoon drink and a small appetizers on John the Baptist day, and if I lived in Montreal this would be my local pub! Clean bar and glasses, great draft beers, good pub food and great service
Great espresso martini. 😁

During our 4-day, 3-night trip to Montreal, the restaurant that caught my eye was Jérôme Ferrer. Known for its French-themed decor, professional service, and gastronomic excellence, it was top of my list. Though we could only fit it in for a final lunch before heading home, it did not disappoint.
We opted for the 3-course lunch menu, complemented by a first bite and dark chocolate, and included a glass of red or white wine.
- **Welcoming Dish**: Crostini with hors d'oeuvres of the day—simple yet crunchy, a perfect start.
- **Side Order**: Freshly served table bread with butter, accompanied by a mix of oil and balsamic.
- **1st Course**: Vinaigrette salad atop a warm buttered pastry, beautifully presented with balsamic vinegar on the side.
- **2nd Course**: Steak with a choice of fries or mashed potatoes (go for the mashed potatoes; they’re outstanding).
- **3rd Course**: Chocolate mousse, elegantly garnished with silver flakes and mineral gold.
To cap off our meal, we enjoyed housemade dark chocolate with a thoughtful note from the restaurant.
Overall, this lunch was one of the highlights of our trip and ranks among the top dining experiences.

Came here for their special spring break menu with 5 services for 75$. The lobster cappucino is amazing as always. The brioche bread was pretty good and the lobster risotto had a lot of lobster chunks in it. The steak was decent but nothing out of the ordinary. The desserts were a bit of a let down.
The service was fast and the staff were very nice and friendly. The place is clean and nicely decorated.

Upscale steakhouse with a great prix fixe menu that is actually pretty generous (I was stuffed). Went to celebrate, wasn’t disappointed. The service was good, fast, and knowledgable. The place itself is a little generic looking, and lacks character, but it’s all tastefully done. Lot’s of extra flourishes and fussy details with the dishes, which makes for an interesting experience.

Went on a Sunday and the vibe was off to me. Service was nice and effective, but the patron energy was off. The open mic was alright. There were some good entertainers. Beers were OK. Prices were a bit steep at CAD$9 per beer.

Brutopia is a solid spot for a night out! They have cheap drinks, live music, and a friendly vibe thanks to the awesome staff. The food is decent — nothing extraordinary, but it does the job. Overall, it’s a great place to hang out with friends and enjoy some live tunes without breaking the bank!

We snagged a table in the back corner of the downstairs area on a busy Friday night. Service and drinks were great, and the live music was nice in the background. We appreciated that it wasn’t so loud that we couldn’t continue talking during the music. Ended the night with some yummy french fries. Highly recommend!

Went there for lunch…the place is looks lil old from inside but the vibes are great. The atmosphere is really good. Our server was great as well.
I am a vegetarian and ordered Pita with hummus and vegetarian burger and both were amazing. The vegetarian burger especially was delicious, one of the bests and is a good choice for vegetarians.
Had Raspberry blonde which was amazing.
Overall a wonderful experience here, would definitely recommend.

It is a hotel restaurant, so you should not expect fireworks.Still, the food is good, and the staff is very friendly and quite attentive.
The wine cellar seems well equipped (although I have not tested it).
My brownie was quite fine, although I'd prefer it to be warm, to blend better with ice cream.

I’m here on business, and I’ve eaten in many 4-star hotel restaurants. This one, by far has stolen my heart. You would think if you’ve had one breakfast buffet, you’ve had them all. This one is much different. The fare is typical by most standards, but the care and quality of fresh ingredients, including fresh bruschetta for your creamy scrambled eggs was a perfect touch.
Montreal is fantastic for promoting local breweries. They also serve their pints with in house, thick cut and seasoned potato chips! I wasn’t starving, so some sides for dinner sounded great. The carpaccio and fried Quebec cheese curds hit the spot.
Don’t skip on this place if you’re staying here!

Lovely breakfast buffet. Very polite hostess. Excellent potatoes, scrambled eggs, sausages. The coffee is very vary good and they give you a thermos at the table. The waitress offered more coffee to go as it was a cold day. Worth dropping in even if you aren't staying at the hotel.

I'm conflicted with this review of L'O. The food was great but the service was really bad. I don't think intentionally, perhaps under staffed or new people but bad service. Did not feel like staff were focused. Waited too long to be seated as staff cleared tables when they could have simply cleared ours first and then focused on others afterwards. We waited nearly 10 minutes to get our order taken and we had to remind our waitress about our drinks after seeing others getting theirs. My wife received her food after others received their food who were seated after us. Icing on the cake was my meal came 13 minutes after my wife received hers. Waitress admitted chef made mistake, but I didn't feel like a valued customer. I do hope my experience is an anomaly. Disappointed because the food was really good. Debating if I want to try again.

My husband and I dined here for our anniversary as family gifted us with gift cards.
It is a quaint little restaurant in the heart of downtown. The food was very tasty, the presentation was very pretty, the portions were good, the service was fast and efficient (although the attention we received was overkill - the waiter, although very kind, checked in on us literally every 5 minutes)
We were disappointed with the risotto as we expected a thicker consistency, but it was too ‘soupy’ in our humble opinion.
The resto serves the cutest complimentary appetizer (first picture- we were 2 so there were 2 of each item).
I do recommend if you don’t mind spending $$ as the food is excellent, however, the prices are over what I am willing to spend for dining out and so would not return (A bottle of Perrier is $12, my 3 shrimp appetizer is $48, etc)

We had the pleasure of dining at Restaurant DaVinci, and it was a truly memorable experience. From the moment we walked in, the ambiance set the tone for an unforgettable evening. The modern yet elegant decor, combined with soft lighting and comfortable seating, created an intimate setting that was perfect for celebrating an occasion.
The service was impeccable, and the food was amazing. Whether you’re celebrating a milestone or simply looking for a place to enjoy great food, this spot delivers on all fronts.
Highly recommended for any special occasion!

This restaurant was everything a restaurant should be. The staff and owner (Lav) friendly, welcoming (with everyone who walked in) the restaurant has been around for a long time and Lav is ready to share stories upon your asking (which I did). The food was well presented and tasted every bit as good as it looked. We appreciated the look and the taste so much - totally forgot pics. What put this restaurant over the top was when I couldn’t decide between 2 desserts so they gave me both and one being compliments of the house. The vibe in the place says family and anyone who walks in is a part of it. I can’t recommend enough and is now on my must visit when in Montreal.

A really good Italian restaurant which surprised from starter to desert. Staff super friendly. We started with the burrata and then went ontoThe mushroom ravioli which was incredible and the salmon was good too. Deserts were just amazing we had the tiramisu and the chocolate mousse cake we shared both and couldn’t pick a favourite.
Definitely recommend!

I came in very hungry. I ordered a slice thinking it wasn't going to be good as the other restaurants in this area. It was made perfectly. Thin, crunchy crust. Sweet tomato sauce. I finally got to experience Nora Gray and it exceeded my expectations. From the summer salad to the linguine, chef’s kiss! I had a bite of my friend pan-seared sea bass and almost regretted my choice but my chanterelles on a bed of creamy linguine was divine. The surprise of the evening? The simple yet delectable summer salad. My friend and I both agreed that it may have been the best salad we have eaten thus far. I loved the atmosphere, it was nostalgic as it felt like we were transported back to the our grandparents retro basement. I will be coming back.

Les Saisons de Corée is a culinary gem that beautifully captures the essence of Korean cuisine in the heart of [Location]. From the moment you step in, the warm ambiance and inviting decor set the stage for an exceptional dining experience.

Les Saisons de Corée emerged as a serendipitous discovery on an evening stroll through the city, as we were on a quest for Bibimbap and stumbled upon this gem by pure chance. This quaint restaurant, hidden away from the bustling streets, offers a slice of Korea, albeit with a caveat for accessibility – it is completely unreachable for those unable to navigate stairs, presenting a significant barrier for some.
Upon entry, one can't help but notice the restaurant's modest size. The interior is snug, fostering a cozy atmosphere, yet this closeness comes with its drawbacks. Tables are arranged a tad too closely, creating a slightly cramped dining experience. Notably, one table sits uncomfortably close to a beverage refrigerator, a minor inconvenience that becomes apparent as staff frequently navigate past diners to access it. This, however, is a small price to pay for the culinary journey that awaits.
The service at Les Saisons de Corée is polite and functional, if not particularly remarkable. Staff members are courteous and efficient, ensuring that diners' needs are met with a level of adequacy that complements the dining experience without necessarily enhancing it.
The true star of Les Saisons de Corée, however, is undeniably its cuisine. The menu is a vibrant tapestry of Korean dishes, each promising an authentic taste of Korean culinary tradition. Ingredients are selected with care, emphasizing freshness and quality, which shine through in the authentically delicious flavors that grace each dish. Portion sizes strike a perfect balance between satisfying and reasonable, ensuring that diners leave feeling content without feeling overwhelmed.
The value offered by Les Saisons de Corée is exceptional, considering the quality of the dishes served. This balance of cost to quality makes every meal not just a dining experience but an investment in culinary delight. It's this combination of authentic flavors, thoughtful presentation, and fair pricing that has cemented Les Saisons de Corée as one of our go-to establishments for dining out, a place where the essence of Korea is served with every dish, inviting diners to return time and again to partake in its culinary offerings.

Soup: comes with each main dish that order. Bland.
Kimchi: was white, tasted stinky but in a bad way, as if it was very old, which is surprising since it clearly looked and tasted undermarinated.
Soy sauce potatos: good
Beans sprouts: with salt and sesame oil, simple but good
Bibimbap: they are losing points when it comes to presentation but it is delicious. The sayce is the right amount of sweet, the meat is perfectly seasonned and browned, the veggies tastes fresh and the marinated veghies compliment the dish very well! The portion is good enough for me to be full.
Spicy pork and rice: This dish has a good kick to it, very flavorful, also a good portion.
Rambokki: I don't recommend this dish. The ramen broth is very sweet but bland, zero savoryness. The teobbokki are well cooked and chewy, but the sauce/broth hat came with it didn't do it justice. Sauce is lacking.
