Went there for a birthday dinner, food was amazing. Especially the truffle spaghetti! Our waiter was kind and took care of us well. Really happy with service

This is such a lovely restaurant!! Terrific ambiance and service, fabulous food. Recommend the Cacio E Pepe, one of the more affordable dishes on the menu and really spectacular. Yes, we also got the filet mignon, and it was just as good as everyone says, perfect preparation (be aware that the red wine sauce has a little sweetness to it). A real highlight was the salted caramel ice cream cake, seventeen stars! Would definitely visit again next time we come to Montreal!

A great spot for a quick but elegant Monday night dinner tonight. The foccacia they give at the start of the meal is so delicious, best table bread in the city. The kale ceasar is a great starter for 2. The pasta and risotto are light but filling but not so filling you feel bloated.

We booked Beatrice for our wedding and cannot recommend it enough. Daniela was fantastic throughout the planning process and a pleasure to work with. Claudio and team made sure everything was perfect and delivered an amazing service from early evening well into the morning; no request was too big or small. There was always someone checking on our guests while food came out like clockwork. Our bartender David was also incredible, personable and made amazing drinks and shots throughout the night while making time to chat and even take a few photos. Finally, the food was simply amazing and we received compliments with every course, and in messages in days after, including about the sommelier’s wine selection. Huge thanks to the team at Beatrice for making our big day an elegant, fun and delicious success.

Also, you must have the dessert platter.

It was our first time here, and I couldn't believe the rating was below 4! This place is 5star. The lamb taco (gluten-free) was amazing. The spices are to the point. Good service, nice Lebanese gentleman. One of the best experiences we had in Montreal. Keep up the good work 👏
Will come back soon.
-Update: we went back and unfortunately the food was not as good as first time. I get it know why it has 3star. The food was really cold and the service was awful this time. The person in front (Indian guy) was so rude and dumb. The special drink was not enough and full of ice. The waiters wanted us to leave quickly to give the seats to next customer. 2 star is enough I guess

Haven’t been here in years and honestly they got better. The food was delicious and came out pretty fast. The drinks were excellent the service was great. Had a great time and the price was quite reasonable .

This place is located exactly in the heart of downtown and the ambience couldn’t be better. Authentic Mexican food with the best service each time we visited. The price is reasonable as the quantity is good and a lot for one person tbh.

3 Amigos is a fantastic spot for anyone craving delicious Mexican food! From the moment we walked in, the lively and colorful ambiance set the perfect mood for an enjoyable meal. The decor captures the vibrant spirit of Mexico, making it a great place to relax and have a good time.
The food was amazing, with each dish bursting with authentic flavors. We tried a variety of options, and everything was cooked to perfection, from the tacos to the enchiladas. The portions were generous, and the presentation was spot on. The highlight, however, was definitely the cocktails—they were some of the best we’ve had! Each one was expertly mixed and packed a punch, making it hard to pick a favorite. Whether you're a fan of margaritas or looking to try something new, you won't be disappointed.
Service was friendly, although it got a bit slow during peak hours, which is the only reason I’m giving it 4 stars instead of 5. Despite that, 3 Amigos offers an excellent dining experience that’s hard to beat. We left happy and satisfied, and we’ll definitely be back for more of their incredible Mexican fare and drinks!

The birria tacos were drenched in grease, slipped out my fingers. It was so greasy it took over the taste of them. The pinacolada was the most disappointing thing ever. How can someone mess up a pina colada. It was not good at all and I’ve had many. Very watery and chunky. The waiter was very kind.

We went to McKibbins to see a comedy show and the whole experience was great!
The people are welcoming and friendly. The MC was hilarious.
We didn't try all the appetizing food that is on the menu. We did try the nachos and they were delicious. The only disappointment was there was no Guiness beer available. Bummer! However I tried the Irish red they had and it was good.
We will definitely go back..

This sports bar is everything a true fan needs. They offer a comprehensive range of pay channels—at least all the ones I could think of—which ensures you won’t miss a game. The service is both friendly and efficient, and the beer selection is excellent. I especially enjoyed their onion soup—a real standout dish. With its vibrant atmosphere, this is the place in Montreal to catch a game, or even two!

An Irish pub in a university town near McGill University. The atmosphere realy brings you to Irish… at the least the Irish I imagine.
The poutine is too salty, but great fires, so I will just order fries next time. They have limited selection of local beers, otherwise lots of differentdeinks to offer. I would like to see more local craft beers in the future!
It's also a bit pricey. One poutine plus one beer coated me $35 in total. This will make me think twice going again.

Loved the music, mostly songs we didn't hear for a long time from the 80s and 90s and the full vibe with live concert if you're into that. Great place where we can talk intimately with friends with some nice beer selections. It's easily a favorite Irish pub in Montreal.

A main street pub that has something to keep you interested every night (lots of live music) . The food is above most in the area when comparing to other pub style establishments. I always enjoy the Buffalo burger and fully loaded nachos. They have daily specials that are always interesting. If they get busy be prepared to wait a little.

Got a vegetarian thali to share with my girlfriend. Lots of food, definitely worth the price. It’s buffet style so quick service but you can’t make any adjustments to the food. But food is very tasty as is. Atmosphere is okay. For a quick tasty cheap meal I’d come again.

Really love this place. My favourite desi food in downtown. My go to is the meat thali with: lamb curry, chicken curry and Aloo gobi.
Food is always consistent and affordable. The portions are big and very filling.
Also would like to mention the employee at the register Nitin, who is very welcoming and a treat to talk to. It was very nice to see him treat all his customers with care and sincerity.

I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for an authentic and flavorful culinary experience. I will definitely be coming back!

A nice Indian restaurant near Guy station where you can grab a quick bite. They have a small menu and some of them are my favorite dishes like chhole bhature, samosa chat, samosa, and fried rice. They also offer Thali, but I'm not a big fan of it. Desserts are okay. The service is quick, and the seating area is small but does the job.

I’ll definitely come back to upstairs Jazz one day. It was such a great experience. I came with a group of 5 and made a reservation a few days ahead with seats at the bar for 9 pm on a Saturday night. I can’t stress enough how happy I was to have made that reservation! It gets packed right before the show starts and it’s hard to get in, nevertheless get a seat with a view of the musicians. So if you’re thinking of coming here on a weekend night book ahead and you’ll be good! Definitely worth the price of the ticket.
Morgan Mitkowski - 2 months ago
We thoroughly enjoyed the performance. The singer had an incredible voice, and her wit and humor added a delightful touch. The band complemented her energy perfectly. The food was also excellent. However, if you're planning a reunion or a first date, this bar might not be the ideal spot unless you're planning to spend some time there before or after the show. We initially thought it was a restaurant with jazz music enhancing the experience, but it turns out it’s more of a performance venue. We were advised to enjoy the show with minimal interaction and to communicate quietly.

Had a BLAST here over the weekend and seeing a trio play the 7 pm show. We booked a reservation for dinner at 5:45 and got to see the group setting up. We enjoyed some great jazz playlists while eating. We had the aubergine Parmesan and mushroom linguine and they were both great.
The cocktails were fabulous and I loved reading the menu through old jazz albums. The team is TRULY remarkable, winding in between tables through the show, making sure guests are taken care of and having to let walk-ins now that it was fully packed. I recommend making a reservation; we saw about 20 people turned away because it was so busy. Shoutout to Bailey, who was an awesome and attentive server. This place blew me away and the only issue was that the show didn’t last longer! Thank you!

We came here for a night out while in Montreal and had a fantastic time! The performances were world class, the staff was very helpful and accommodating, and the other Parton's were very fun and easy to talk to. Highly recommend if you're looking for a good easy night out in Montreal!

My girlfriend and I came to this restaurant to celebrate our anniversary. We were not disappointed at all. Not only was the food amazingly delicious, the atmosphere was also great. Not a single person there disrespected the musicians and you could tell everyone was a jazz enthusiast. The performance wasn’t necessarily jazzy, seeing as it was a Pink Floyd tribute, but that doesn’t mean it wasn’t amazing because it definitely was. Due to a late reservation, we had the worst seat (that’s what it’s called on their website at least) and we still had a great time enjoying the music. The food was good too. She had a steak and I had pesto pasta and we both enjoyed it quite a lot. The service was great too. The lady that took care of us would regularly come to check up on us and would adjust anything if needed. We truly had a wonderful time. If you come for a show, keep in mind that the price of the tickets will be added to your final bill. It was around 19$ each which isn’t bad at all but just make sure you bring enough money to cover for that as well. Would recommend it to anyone that likes live music performances. If you struggle with hearing sensitivity I would suggest you skip this activity simply because the small venue will obviously make the sound echo and feel louder which might hurt or inconvenience you. Other than that, beautiful place!
The band/musicians playing in the videos are Guillaume Martineau (piano) François Jalbert (guitar) Rémi-Jean Leblanc (bass) Aaron Dolman (drums) and this was their tribute to Pink Floyd

Lovely people, owners and staff.
Very welcome atmosphere with open kitchen. Place is clean.
I’m nice you order it does not take too long for dishes to be served at the table.
Their shumai (dim sum) was tasty and light, some of the pork was a little too chewy.
General Tao chicken. Found it to have too much breading and the sauce was not the typical general Tao sauce I’m accustomed to as it seems to have a strong citrus to it but I am really not sure. I actually can’t describe what the flavouring was for that matter.
Crispy fried sesame shrimp also has an odd sauce that we were not used to and as such was the weakest dish we ordered. Shrimp were properly cooked and not too much breading and nice and crisp on the outside.
Chicken in black bean sauce was very tasty but lacking sufficient veggies and not much of them except tons of onions. Luckily the onions tasted fantastic. Chicken was what appears to be white meat and was juicy.
Spring rolls were way too greasy and the oil smelled off. The spring roll itself was lacking any real flavour or for that matter sufficient amount of meaningful ingredients and as such we left them over.
Their white rice was cooked perfectly
The tofu general Tao was surprisingly good. The tofu was cooked to a gentle crisp and then covered in general Tao sauce - the same from the other dish. Oddly the sauce was not too bad on the tofu dish
The real star of the were the peanut butter dumplings. This was perfect toy cooked, delicate outer dough, filling was proportionate to the size of the wrap, and the sauce was fantastic. Tip. If you have leftover sauce pour it over your white rice it’s awesome. I could just go there for plates and plates of the dumplings.

I recently ordered takeout from Wok Café in Montreal through Uber Eats, and overall, it was a satisfying experience with a few highlights and a couple of minor areas for improvement.
Video Review will be posted on Tik Tok and Instagram soon @Foxyappetite
Here’s a breakdown of what I tried:
Salt and Pepper Shrimp (Fave)
The Salt and Pepper Shrimp is definitely the star of the meal. The shrimp were cooked perfectly—crispy on the outside while staying tender on the inside. The seasoning was spot on: a blend of salty, savory, and a mild heat that was just the right amount of kick. The dish was generously sprinkled with herbs and chili, with crunchy vegetables adding extra flavor and freshness. Even though I got it through delivery, the shrimp stayed crispy, which can sometimes be a challenge with takeout. This dish alone would make me order again.
Vegetable Fried Rice (Very Good)
The Vegetable Fried Rice was another strong point. The rice was fluffy and well-seasoned, with a nice wok char that gave it a great depth of flavor. The vegetables (peas, carrots, and bell peppers) were fresh and retained their crunch, which was appreciated. It wasn’t greasy, which I liked, and it felt light but filling at the same time. It paired perfectly with the shrimp. However, I did add soy sauce and seasoning from home to give it a touch more depth, but it was still very good.
Tofu
The tofu was decent, though it wasn’t as exciting as the other dishes. The texture was soft and smooth, and it absorbed the sauce well, but it lacked a little bit of the crispiness that would have given it an extra dimension. The sauce was mild but flavorful, and it complemented the tofu nicely, but I would have loved a bit more of a punch. Still, it’s a good option for those looking for a vegetarian choice, and the portion size was generous.
Spring Rolls
The spring rolls were crispy and arrived well-packed, without getting soggy, which is always a plus with takeout. The filling was mostly vegetables and had a nice crunch, but the flavors could have been a bit bolder. The dipping sauce was sweet and tangy, but I felt it needed a little more kick or complexity. Overall, they were a solid appetizer, but not the standout of the meal.
Takeout Experience
As with any takeout order, the quality of the food can sometimes be affected by delivery, but Wok Café did a great job of packaging everything carefully. The food was still warm when it arrived, and everything was well-sealed to prevent leaks or spills.
Overall
Wok Café is definitely a great option for Asian comfort food through Uber Eats. The Salt and Pepper Shrimp is the standout here and a must-try. The Vegetable Fried Rice was flavorful and well-balanced, making it a great side dish. The Tofu was good but could use a bit more texture or flavor. The Spring Rolls were solid but not as impressive as the other items.
The meal was satisfying, and I would definitely order from Wok Café again, especially for their shrimp and fried rice. If you’re craving bold flavors and comforting, hearty dishes, this is a reliable spot.

Order the spicy general tao chicken combo. Everything was good but the chicken was not spicy at all. I was excited to try the spicy one but tasted like the regular one. Had to put spicy sauce myself. Also, the wonton soup is not that flavourful

Super tasty Rotis in the heart of downtown! It’s also pretty reasonably priced. I recommend getting the fried plantains. They’re perfectly cooked. Service was super attentive and really polite! Our server was wonderful (I believe her name was Latifa so thank you!)
Also note entrance is kind of confusing. You have to go through the entrance of chez Bong first and then take the door on the right and climb a flight of stairs. But it’s well worth it.

After the very bad experience I had with Caribbean Food Factory I still wanted Jamaican food. I was told by 2 different Jamaican women to try Mango Bay. So I decided to give it a go. When I arrived at the restaurant I was greeted by a gentleman to take my order. Wasn’t sure how it was going to go because when I asked if he could Escovich the Red Snapper he seemed overwhelmed by my presence and stated he couldn’t Escovich the Red Snapper because he needed time. I said ok....After he took my order he went to the kitchen and came back and said since it wasn’t too busy he would be able to Escovich the Red Snapper. He also advised that I call the next time to give him time to prepare the fish. I briefly told him what I went through with Caribbean Food Factory and that I wanted to come in person instead of having the food delivered. The ladies were on point. The fish was Escoviched to perfection. The rice n peas, plantains and yam were also delicious. I will definitely try Mango Bay again before I leave to go home. Also referred co-workers to the restaurant. As a business owner myself I’ve learned when you treat customers with respect and honesty they’ll be a customer forever.

Simply the best jerk chicken salad in town, one standout feature is the perfect balance of spicy jerk flavors with fresh, crisp salad ingredients. The tender, flavorful jerk chicken adds a bold kick to the salad, creating a delicious fusion of Caribbean and salad flavors. I drive 45 min each time to go pick it up .. worth every minute ..

Simply one of the best restaurants in Montreal and perhaps in all of Canada.
The attention and passions put into each dish can be not only tasted, but felt. The operation of the staff is like a moving painting behind the counter- I strongly recommend sitting at the bar to witness it.
There is something simply special within these walls. Always worth the wait and be adventurous with your order!
On this visit my favourites were the smoked eel wraps and the vegetable croquettes.

Kazu is undeniably one of Montreal’s premier Japanese dining experiences. Despite its limited operating hours—open for dinner from Thursday to Sunday—and the inevitable lineups regardless of weather, the experience is well worth the wait.
Upon entering, you’re greeted by a cozy, warm, and traditional ambiance. The staff exemplify Japanese hospitality, being attentive, polite, and eager to address any inquiries. The menu strikes a perfect balance, offering a diverse selection without overwhelming patrons. Notably, the menu is creatively displayed on a collection of papers affixed to the wall, adding to the restaurant’s charm.
Every dish we sampled was impeccably presented and delectable, reinforcing the notion that there are no wrong choices at Kazu.
Considering the exceptional quality, the pricing is entirely reasonable. Kazu’s location is also convenient, situated just a five-minute walk from Guy-Concordia Metro station.
In short, Kazu offers an authentic and memorable Japanese dining experience in Montreal. I wholeheartedly recommend it without hesitation.

A must-visit every time I'm in Montreal! Their bowls are incredibly authentic, and I particularly love their Tuna or Salmon Kama, although it's usually limited and seasonal. I wouldn't order their sashimi platter again, as the portion size is quite limited. The only downside to Kazu is the wait. If you're not one of the first customers when they open at 5pm, be prepared to wait at least 1-2 hours, based on my experience. They don't take reservations, and the restaurant is rather small.

I got to dine in at this Japanese restaurant and the food was so delicious that I went back a few hours later to enjoy my second meal.
Both times I had to wait around 20-30 minutes in line but it was worth the wait.
Beef bibimbap was absolutely delicious, the beef was tender, moist and flavorful.
Shrimp burger was super soft, ramen was big enough to share and the homemade tofu was ultra soft and delicious.
Finally to end the meal, there is selection of ice cream flavors to choose from. I had the chocolate brioche and it was not too sweet.
I enjoyed all the dishes that I got to try out from here, very fresh and authentic. Despite service being extremely busy, they were helpful & friendly.

Better late than never! The "Best New Year New Day" meal sounds like an incredible experience, and it’s clear it left a lasting impression. Allo Mono Coco seems to have truly nailed the brunch game. The pistachio affogato must have been an absolute treat – the perfect balance of creamy and nutty with that espresso kick! The mashed potatoes were likely the comforting, delicious highlight of the meal, making everything even more satisfying. It’s always a great feeling when a meal exceeds expectations and becomes one of your all-time favorites. Looks like Allo Mono Coco made your New Year’s Day brunch unforgettable!

Great for chain restaurant had the smoked meat poutine for breakfast. Others pictured is the classic and brunch crunch poutine. Added an egg for extra. Photo doesn't do the justice. Large portion in line with price point.

Wanted to try a new restaurant for breakfast and found this place had French toast. The service was excellent, staff were friendly, helpful and came around a few times to refill our coffee. The portions are huge!! We had to take some food back with us. Highly recommend and would suggest sharing if you are not a big eater. Found parking easily on the side street.

I really enjoyed the slight diner aesthetic of this restaurant. The service was swift and great, and the food was scrumptious. I liked the presentation of the food a lot. Very clean and organized. The dishes I had were more than worth their prices. I'm actually quite saddened I don't have an Allô mon Coco in my Ontarian city, haha.

Food was so delicious and tasty - I forgot to take a pic when it arrived unf. The portion size is huge as well so would recommend ordering one meal for 2 people if you are from Europe. Service is friendly. Takes a little bit of time for the food to arrive but so good when it does!
