out of 5 A smaller aquarium, but very interesting tanks and exhibits to explore and learn from. Children will have a great time here! We were finished in about an hour, but if you take the time to read everything and play the little games they have, I'm sure you could spend a few hours here. They also promote conservation and cleaning up the environment, which is always good to see! A fun little attraction for the family that can certainly be added to your Berlin vacation criteria!

My 1 year old loved the experience. Very child friendly and has plenty of interactive exhibits. Would also recommend buying the tickets online.

I visited this place a few years back a really good place to visit unfortunately I was really expecting to see the aquarium tower. To me it was told that it was excluded a few years back and they are not planning to rebuild again with fishes. I would really suggest sea life build this as before while this is a very good unique selling point and gives a memory that remains with a person for coming decades to come.

Too bad that the giant aquarium with an elevator int he middle doesn't exist anymore, since it was the biggest attraction at the place. But the place is nice on its own. Quite targeted for child audience, you can surely spend hours and your children will still have something to do or see. If you just walk through the whole area, it's something for about 1 hour.
I purchased the tickets in advance, but it doesn't seem that there should be any problem to buy the tickets at the spot, since there was no queue at the cash desk.
