Best schnitzel I ever ate.
The place is great, you order from a born or on the phone. It’s really busy and despite the long hours the staff must be doing they are friendly and helpful. There is a covered outdoor area for the ones who like to eat and smoke ;).
The veal schnitzel was amazing and so was the seitan one as well. It’s extremely affordable. I can’t wait to have it again !

I heard good things about this place so my expectation were high coming to this restaurant. It is selfservice, but done really good. In terms of price to performance ratio is maybe one of the best in Berlin. Really thin and crispy schnitzel, good portion for the price. My pork Schnitzel were a little bit dry. I would like to come back to try the veal one.

Went out looking for a cheap and tasty schnitzel and this place ticked both boxes! The schnitzel was so tasty we ended up going back twice! Also highly recommend their grandmas potato salad! Ordering was also very easy, either use the QR code or with their touchscreen. 10/10 highly recommend!

Went looking for a traditional German schnitzel. Was a small sit down restaurant but a fast food atmosphere. Food was served on paper plates which wasn't a problem. Not a lot of seating, but the schnitzel did not disappoint. Options other than pork. Fantastic!

Cheap and cheerful. Cool location in a space under the train tracks. Food on disposable plates and drinks in plastic glasses but globally really good Schnitzel and good beer at good prices.

Fantastic experience, thanks so much to the staff who were beyond friendly and attentive.
I brought my parents, who both have coeliac’s disease, and as soon as I arrived they said they saw my note about dietary requirements in the booking, they had gluten free bread (which was incredible) and would explain everything on the menu so we knew what was safe to eat. More on the menu was GF than wasn’t, which is so unusual so my parents were so happy that they could enjoy a great meal without feeling like they had to make loads of compromises or be a burden.
We had the menu carte Blanche, as well as cocktails and wine. Every dish was delicious, fresh, and interesting.
It’s not a cheap place - expect to spend 70-90€ pp - but the price is worth it and it’s a wonderful place if you want to have a special meal or celebrate something. I am recommending it to everyone!

We went here for Sunday Brunch and the the quality of the food is really outstanding.
Not so many options for kids.

Tasteful Patio where you can sit outside. Relaxed atmosphere where you can have a good evening. We went for dinner. Sharing meal concept. You have the option to go for menu (52€ pp) or a la carte.
We liked:
- the vibe and atmosphere
- friendly service
- some tasty food options
- good drinks
We did not like:
- small portions, you will not the same amount of appetizers as the number of menues
- some appetizers are rather bland
- 52€ menu cost for not even getting full

The Food was absolutely fantastic, fresh and the Connection of the flavours was out of Earth. Loved it. The service was amazing, attentive and ordered good advice. On top of that they also play Great music and the Restaurant in itself is very nice and cozy. I recommend 200%

Although nothing was extraordinary, everything that we ate was above a certain quality barring maybe the cheesecake.
The deer was perfectly cooked and nicely coupled with beans.
Entree of tomatoes and peach had good potential but too fee peach and the crispy stuff was a bit soaked.
Cheesecake was also nothing special.
Great atmosphere overall though and amazing service by the very attentive and cool staff. Special shoutout to Joy who did a fabulous job serving us all throughout.

East side gallery is located out of the Berlin city center, but it still is a busy and vibrant neighborhood. When you're walking around, it's hard to miss this bakery with its huge gate and impressive facade. Once inside, you have a wide variety of choices for breakfast and lunch. I went quite late though, around 3pm for a late lunch, and unfortunately there weren't many options left to choose from. I took a coffe and a chicken panini. The sandwich was heated up and served on a good-looking piece of wood, with some delicious truffle mayo on the side. The chicken and cheese were distributed well along the panini, but I would have preferred some more vegetables next to the few leaves of rucola.

The cappuccino had quite bitter taste. The nougat-croissant was good.
They have a good variety of pasteries.
The room is spacious, and it's cozy, not loud
They accept card payment (not amex)

I was in Berlin for a long weekend with my family and ate the best meal at this restaurant !! The service was also great and we had no issues with having our four month old son and a stroller with us.

Located next to metro station, this restaurant offers freshly cooked korean dishes which warms my stomach (and my heart) under this cold weather.
The owner was super nice and friendly and he offered extra rice for us.

Best food I’ve ever eaten (chicken BBQ and bibimbap). Great service. Tables are a bit small and it can get a little warm in there but food is 10/10. I want to come to Berlin again to experience their food again.

The Schwarma sandwich is OK. Good value for the money 3.5€. But it can be very slow and the staff doesn't have a sense of priority, people who arrived last are served before the ones who ordered before.
Quite slow serving for a fast food. 20 min wait when there is no queue.

Excellent place to get middle eastern food. They have great Shawarmas. Walked in here and had the food inside and it was perfect. Staff was friendly. They have free wifi. Prices are reasonable. Portions are big. Very clean and great service.

Visit this place every time we are in Berlin. Can't beat the falafel bowls or wraps. Reasonably priced and large portions. Would definitely recommend for a nice cheap fast-food kind of pitstop.
Feargal K - 4 years ago
Incredibly tasty Chicken Schwarma (Döner Kebab) - it feels like actual chicken meat and not ground meat stuck together on the spit! Also the variety of toppings is amazing!

Best Currywurst we had in Berlin. The man who owned the place was really friendly. The prices were cheap compared to other parts of Berlin too.

I was really looking to try this in Berlin, and I found this place accidentally, the staff are friendly and they speak English very good, and they are very patient 😅 "I ordered fries and cancelled it".
I chosed chicken sausage and it was really nice,
mohammad shaheen - 4 years ago
For a quick bite and to check curry wurst would definelty recommend. Good place to eat when you are taking a break before starting to check the east side gallery wall.
The person selling was also really nice and answered any questions we had in regards to the food and beverage of berlin .

Turist spot, but it suits the purpose of service large or small groups, fast and efficient.
Reasonable price level.
If you want wine, walk away.

As the first time in Berlin, I was really satisfied and happy for the place! We had a nice time in Pirates! It’s very beautiful and comfortable near the river and there’s nice music. We ate CurryWurst mit dippers pommes and it was really good! Also my friends were happy!
We want to thank Sandro, the waiter who served us, for his skills, positivity, kindness and helpfulness! Keep smiling!

The place is pretty nice, just at the end of the east side gallery. Good food. Nonetheless waiting more than 40 minutes for some pizzas is a long way too much.

Love this place. Great food (bread with whipped butter alone is to DIE FOR - bury me with this stuff). Whoever is in that kitchen: you know what you’re doing and I see you!!
Very pretty and chill ambience with multiple seating options, from sofas to tables inside to tables outside in the courtyard. The staff mostly speak English, but this is a hotel so an international crowd is to be expected.
I work on my laptop here and the wifi is great, plus I’m not ushered out after a certain time. It’s very close to the tram and to the east side gallery so the location is convenient.
One funny thing is the bathroom. The lack of light and dark colors are giving chamber lol. Don’t expect to be able to fix your makeup in there.
Overall though great job on this cafe, guys! Really appreciate the vibes.

But I drink much more better flat white in Berlin.

A stylish cafe with a simple menu, we had cheese & ham toasties, soup with bread and a chocolate brownie. Just enough for a lunch break and reasonable price. Service was great. 5 min walk from east side gallery & opposite a tram stop.

Selection of natural wines, everything tasted very unique and delicious. Highly recommended! The bread is also really really yummy. The atmosphere is very laid back, there is plenty of space between the tables, so its very suitable for a private conversation. We are happy to return.
