one of the best places for Vietnamese food out of Vietnam and I did try many of them. the plates are great, big plaits you can definitely share. in my opinion you don't have to order a place in advance but there is a queue that you will probably need to wait if you come after 7:00 p.m.

The food is just unbelievably good! Portions bug and prices are very adequate. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Spicy glass noodles with prawns are soooo recommended! And homemade lime lemonade was very refreshing. Also beef dumplings were a very tasty starter. I’ve been here several times and never been disappointed.

Personally, I think it’s overrated for me. The food is alright. If you enjoy fusion food, sure you might like it. Not that many options in the menu. You can try it once but I won’t come back, especially for Vietnamese foods. The interior and atmosphere are nice, lot of sits. Staffs are nice.

Wonderful experience. We had a nice lunch with family. The service is very good and fast, they make good recommendations and they are careful about your requests. We really enjoyed our lunch here!

Food is delicious and portions are very generous and reasonably priced. Had the Cari Dau and Goi Mekong Bo Glasnudelsalad both were equally good very fresh ingredients and nice balance of spices.
Service is very fast the place is a bit noisy as it is packed. Sitting outside is nice as you are at street level and the street is not busy

The atmosphere at this place was really great. We’re from Australia and we love a sports bar - this definitely was the vibe. The food wasn’t too expensive and the drinks were nice and cheap! My only criticism is the classic burger was a little dry and the patty was too thick.

This place is great, always busy with a nice atmosphere!
Humberto especially was super friendly and nice, if you stay at the hostel there are some good discounts too! There are some good deals for each day of the week ☺️

We watched India vs South Africa T20 cricket World Cup finals. Even though football Euro 24 was going on, we were given the club floor to watch the cricket match. There were many Indians and few South Africans . We all enjoyed the atmosphere.

Nice place to watch matches. But they would *definitely* need better chairs and tables. At least on the first floor.

The white wine is good, the taste of steak was okay, nothing special, could be better for this money, the place is overpriced but cute (if we will not count the view to road reconstruction). Also please pay attention to the serve of wine, the customer should see the bottle. The service is great, quick and nice waitresses.

Steaks perfectly cooked and delicious. The vegan miso cabbage dish was a flavour explosion as well.
There were some issues with our service, the kitchen lost our mains order and we had to rush to eat the luscious steaks in under 10 minutes. Due to a show. There was also some lacks in knowledge but it was so yummy we will be back and hope for a smoother ride.

One of my favorite local spots in Berlin. Great service, excellent food and lively atmosphere. All the steak cuts are top notch and the selection of sides are equally tasty. I recommend the asparagus soup when it’s in season.

I ate here very early in the evening so it was not cramped or noisy as others had mentioned. However, if you are seated outside or at the window seats (as I was), the view is of street construction which doesn't make for a great ambiance. That said, the steak was delicious and the sauce that came with it was absolutely wonderful (it was a foamy bearnaise??). I had wondered how attentive they were to details when I saw that the glass on the menu display at the door was shattered (and it didn't look like it had happened yesterday), however, I just checked their website and see they are now closed until November for renovations which explains why the ambiance may have been off.
Irma Zandl - a year ago
To be honest, for the quality of food they offer, and the service they provide, it’s overpriced. If everything 25%~35% less it would be ok.
Staff is friendly but the food takes way too long to arrive, additionally, we asked for starters as well as main courses and they all arrived together.
The schnitzel had a good size, but was very thin, flavour wise was not very special.
The meat was in was correctly medium rare but not well seasoned.

Absolutely wonderful meal here tonight! Insanely fresh food, that felt so homemade with love. Quick and friendly service, it was fabulous to have what felt like a truly home cooked flavoursome meal after a day of travelling. It was like sitting down and having a family member cook you up their speciality dish. You can tell their stocks and sauces are made with extreme care to a perfect recipe. 10/10!

Crispy sesame tofu was rather underwhelming. Okay rice, okay sauce but the tofu itself was tasteless. Also, don‘t expect to be served tap water here (i.e. you have to pay for water) or be able to pay with a normal card (cash or EC card only).

Nothing particularly amazing about this restaurant but everything comes together well. The service was solid, the food had the right flavors and textures, and portion sizes were were just right (perhaps slightly on the smaller side), and the food is well priced. Outdoor seating is very nice for people watching

Stumbled across this lovely intimate family Vietnamese Restaurant as it was round the corner from our hostel. All the food and drink were absolutely delicious and the service was really quick. To drink we got lychee mojitos which were fantastic. My friend and I had the crispy pork dumplings to start, my other two friends the vegetable summer spring rolls and we were all very pleased. For mains I had green curry with crispy duck and it was one of the best I’ve ever had. My friends also loved their meals. Would definitely recommend if you’re in the Mitte area! Vegetarian/ vegan friendly options too!

This is the best pho spot in Mitte, offering delicious, high-quality food in a less crowded environment. I prefer dining here over the overcrowded and overpriced pho restaurants in the area.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at YamYam, a delightful Korean restaurant in Berlin. However, while the overall experience was fantastic, I found the rice and funchosa to be a bit too sweet for my taste. I prefer a more savory or neutral flavor profile, so this was a minor disappointment.

An amazing place to satisfy your Korean food craving.
We spotted this place while walking around the area and were drawn to the restaurant by its striped drawn out shade sails.
Our host Tunghe, welcomed us with a smile and led us to our cute table in the corner even though we didn't have a reservation.
The food we ordered tasted amazing as well and it was quite filling me. The food was slightly spicy for my palette but the refreshing homemade lemonade & sodas came our rescue.
Overall the restaurant is great place for a date evening or catch up with close friends over some amazing Asian food.

The food is really good and waitresses are also kind and very friendly to guests. I really recommend this place. Just one cons that price is a bit high but food is delicious
Mai Hoang - 2 weeks ago
The food was good but we found the portions to be quite small and left hungry. We ordered the daily summer specials which were both tasty but there definitely could’ve been more for the price. 4 very thinly sliced pieces of meat, a couple small slices of cucumber, and really not that many noodles. It fulfilled the Korean food craving, but we wouldn’t come back because we didn’t think the price to quantity was worth it. 3.5 stars

Super friendly waiter serving us delicious Korean food. My fave (for years now) ozinger bokum, the spicy fried squid! We also shared a gimbab role and kimchi pancake. Delish!

Good quality Italian food in a pleasant setting. A very nice atmosphere, with seating outside as well as indoors. The roast sucking pig salad was excellent and the wine was very good value for the quality. Veal pasta was a hearty portion
Seiriol Dawes-Hughes - 5 months ago
The food was absolutely delicious! The eggplant salad was the star of the show, but everything else was also very well-made. The portion of the pasta dishes were quite generous, and each dish was cooked to perfection. They have a good selection of wine as well! However, the tables are a bit small, so it was quite cramped and they are very very busy!

Very delicious apertivo! Highly recommend all the dishes listed. The taste and quality is fantastic. The seating was a bit tight with other diners and a bit loud because of the proximity. Busy place and helpful to have a reservation on a Saturday night. The menu lists all ingredients in 3 different languages but had a discrepancy when an allergen wasn’t listed in something we ordered. Luckily caught it in time and the staff dealt with it well by replacing the item. Was not a problem and really appreciated the customer service we received. Would recommend and eat there again.

Very nice place with great wine. Menu changes 2x per day depending on food availability. There is a lunch and a dinner menu. Wonderful placenta sit outside.
Appetizers good quality although expensive. Vitello Tonnato as 20 euros. So many people here are regulars.
Nice wine by the glass and a wide selection.
You can even have some sent home!
Very nice place with very good service although a bit expensive.
Definitely on my list to come back.

Recently visited Muret la Barba with a friend 🍷👫. The food was okay, quite basic – nothing extraordinary 🍽️😐. The real highlight is their wine selection, which is absolutely extraordinary and deliciously good 🍇🥂! One note on the staff: I wish they would smile more and show a bit of empathy. Most of the time, they seemed like they didn’t really want to be there, which kind of brought down the whole vibe of the place 😕🙁. It created a strange atmosphere, in my opinion. This isn’t a place I’d rush back to or choose as my first or even second option. I’d only consider Muret la Barba as a last resort if there were no other options available 🌟🌟. Cheers to their wine, though!

Great atmosphere, mediocre service, hit and miss cocktails. Whiskey sour, pina colada and white russian were actually disastrous.

This is my favorite bar in the district around Alexanderplatz. We, a group of 8 Norwegian friends in our prime (ok, early to mid 50ish gentlemen) visited volksbar Friday night, and anjoyed our visit a lot. Nice and very friendly staff in an informal environment. We enjoyed our visit so much we tried to get a table the following night also, but alas - though hardly surprising - there were no tables available when we arrived. We will be revisiting Volksbar next time we are in Berlin.

Very nice Bar. We went on a Saturday and it was surprisingly not too crowded. The staff is speaking both English and German and are super nice but they do sometimes forget an order.
The drink selection is very nice too, they have a huge Gin list, Cocktails and the usual beer, wine and shots. Prices are decent too.
Will go again!:)

Tagliatelle served in starchy clumps, and the ravioli portion was a little miserly, but flavours were on point. Maybe more covers than the kitchen can adequately handle during a rush? Attention to detail suffers.
Our waiter believed 'charm' more important than a good job, making mistakes more than I want to list - though he was busy.
Bucolic restaurant decor and vibrant, buzzy atmosphere does lots of heavy lifting here to raise up the experience. Despite the faults, it was an enjoyable meal overall.

We enjoyed our first visit so much we went again two days later. The food was very good on both occasions. The tagliatelle bolognese was plain and simple, but tasted good, and it was fun to get four plates and a huge bowl of the pasta to share. The service was friendly and nice. I like the look of the place, the music's just a bit loud when the restaurant is not full. Getting a table without a reservation was easy on both occasions.

Our food was decent. My wine arrived at room temperature on a 30°C day. I had to ask for ice.
The guy who served us was quite nice. After we paid and had already walked 10m away from our table, a young woman, who we had nothing to do with until this point, came up to us and asked us loudly if the low tip was intentional, obviously trying to shame us publicly.

amaaaazzziinnggg pasta for sure one of my favorite! 😍Always full of customers, def need a reservation or go early like us at 5pm, there was a super friendly waitress taking care of us (she looks like mini jennifer lawrence), my favorite dish was the “tagliatelle con fico”, the pasta is so flavorful and rich, I could eat that everyday!

I found that it is not that everyone love the fig pasta as much as I do, but their fig pasta is very unique as you only can try that I this restaurant. I always come to this res for that whenever I come to Berlin. Balsamic-based, sweet and salty. The one with sundried tomatoes was also my second fav

I had an incredible lunch experience at this Italian restaurant with a friend! We ordered pizza and tortellini. 🍕
🚩The pizza was absolutely amazing—perfectly cooked with a thin, crispy crust and delicious toppings.
🚩And regarding the tortellini, it was perfectly "al dente texture".
100% recommendable 😚😚

This is my favorite Pizza-Pasta restaurant in Berlin. For the quality and taste of food, friendliness of owner and the cozi ambience, I'll give it more than 5 out of 5.
I'm regular at this restaurant and always found the not so perfect rating on Google unfair. I think they deserve a solid 5⭐.

Many options of BRLO craft beer on tap. We chose some IPA , west coast and hazy stuff, not their best probably. Bit watery. Easy to find location, right on the exit from Roza Luxemburg U2 station. If you follow this street towards Alexander Platz you will find some other nice locations near the National Library (East).

It is a super trendy bar with plenty of seating, shuffleboard, and a decent outside area.
I had mixed feelings about the beers. They had a decent pilsner, but I wasn't overly impressed with their IPAs. This matches my experience of canned BRLO beers where I also think their IPAs aren't quite to my tastes.
