Good Sushi, especially the rice tasted really good. Ramen good as well, but could have been a touch better.
Major appreciation for the "order+pay online" QR codes on the tables, allowing me to have a contact-less experience!

Cari soup wasn't bad. The food wasn't delicious. I've eaten in Indian restaurants before, and it just doesn't taste good 🤷🏼♀️

As a person of Indian origin, let me assure you, this place is the epitome of inauthenticity. Most of the food that you get in this restaurant, you will find nowhere in the country of India. I guess the owners, one fine morning, invented a couple of random dishes and rolled the dice to decide what cuisine those dishes can be categorized as. Go visit this place if you wish to taste authentic cuisine from nowhere-land, but even then, it kinda tastes really strange. Plus, they should really focus on presentation.

best service in the world, don’t worry to ask, don’t worry to look for options or any suggestions - super nice and interesting tastes with variety of options, perfect eggplant with raisins, ultra delicious paneer and this sauce in chicken butter mmmmmm !!! place is sometimes crowded so prepare for full spot and maybe make a reservation before !

Great food long wait times

the food is decidedly underwhelming, and may well seem to have accommodated overmuch to local tastes or preconceptions (to put it mildly).
service is just fine. prices are surely not right, in terms of value for money.

The best ice-cream in Berlin! You can treat yourself always with something unexpected, like black lemon buttermilk, or you can go for the flavours pistachio, vanilla or dark chocolate tastes. So when I feel like to experiment I try the taste of a month/day, otherwise pistachio!!! Recommend👍🏻
Sadly they are open only in summer 😢

You can never go wrong with any flavor you pick here, there's usually a long line outside for the ice cream, but it's very much worth it. Very friendly people working the counters and the taste is unlike anything I've ever had, very authentic and natural.

Best ice cream in Berlin, with several franchises across the city.
Price is 1.40€ per scope for standard flavors or 1.60€ for special ones.
There's usually a long queue in the weekends on sunny days.

Favorite ice cream place in town. Generous portion for eine Kugel and very friendly staffs. If possible, avoid time when Kita and Kindergartens close. Otherwise, you may have to wait quite long line. Wildblaubeeren sorbet is my favorite.

No doubt that it's one of the best Persian restaurants in Berlin. They bake Lavash bread which is really close to what we have in Iran. Taste of kebabs were really good. Spinach yogurt was delicious and staff also are really nice. The menu is also very comprehensive and you have almost all the options of famous Persian dishes. Keep in mind to reserve in advance as the tables are usually reserved.

Me and my wife had Baghalipolo Mahiche & Kubide negini and it tasted fantastic. Defenetly the best one in Berlin and almost as good as my wife‘s and my mother‘s in low. Ok, nothing match the home made food but this is serious stuff :)
Highly recommended!

2024 Nov.(5 stars):
It's the only place I go for Iranian food in Berlin. The best Iranian Shishlik, Lamb, and other grills you can get here.
I would like to have the tea stronger.
Good vibes and friendly service. Thank you!
Edited version(4 stars):
They installed an air conditioner, and the place is not stinky of Koobideh anymore. Thanks for your caring to my review. Grill foods are great. Service is still a little bit slow, and it has the potential to be better.

Stepping into Fanous Persian restaurant is like entering an enchanting Persian palace. The interior is truly unique and gorgeous, adorned with intricate Persian decor that transports you to the heart of Iran. Every detail, from the ornate tile work to the elegant lanterns, exudes an air of authenticity and charm.
The food here is nothing short of outstanding. The mixed appetizer plate is a delightful introduction to Persian cuisine, featuring a zingy fried and grilled eggplant dip that is both smoky and tangy, perfectly complemented by the savory dolmeh. The fresh yoghurt is creamy and refreshing, pairing wonderfully with the warm, soft flatbread.
For the main course, the generous grill plate for two is a carnivore's dream. The grilled marinated lamb and chopped lamb are tender and flavorful, while the chicken is juicy and succulent. Accompanied by perfectly grilled vegetables, a fresh and vibrant salad, and fluffy, fragrant rice, this platter is a feast that showcases the best of Persian grilling traditions.
The desserts here are simply mind-blowing. The traditional rice pudding, sprinkled with crunchy pistachios, is creamy and rich, offering a comforting end to the meal. The cake, with its layers of fluffy pastry, cream, and pistachio, is a heavenly indulgence that leaves a lasting impression.
The combination of an exquisite interior, exceptional food, and a warm, inviting atmosphere makes this Persian restaurant a must-visit. Whether you're celebrating a special occasion or simply seeking a memorable dining experience, this place promises to deliver a feast for both the eyes and the palate.

Super tasty kebab, highly recommended. Unfortunately it's easy to miss due to its location at the back of the subway station. Due to the seemingly endless duration of the renovation work on the Rathaus Steglitz subway station, the shop still doesn't get enough attention in my opinion, but it can really compete very well with the other vegetable kebabs in Berlin.

Good vegetable kebab in the subway station.. clean, the grilled vegetables were very tasty, different sauces to choose from and very fair prices. I've had better falafel balls, otherwise really good!

The kebab shop deserves more attention. Tastes far better than the others in the area and for €5 you can't beat it. The boss is very personable

Very good kebab. Tastes better to me than the competition in the area. €5 is also a good price.
The Katmer sandwiches are also recommended

After my horrible experience in Burgerking, I wasn't expecting much from this place. But it was amazing. The Kebab was amazing, The meat and the sauses were the best I've ever had in a kebab place. To my surprise, the restaurant was really clean and I wasn't feeling, like I am going to be stabbed. The guy serving us was really nice and funny dude and the overall experience was 10/10*

staff are quick and friendly. Food is just decent. However, the so called ‘Schüler Döner’ promotion is a real disappointment. Despite being fractionally cheaper than the regular it is half the size and has an undetectable amount of sauce. A Döner is meant to be filling and flavorful and the Schüler Döner is anything but that.

One of the first and subsequently became one of the very best kebab doner that I've eaten in Berlin. Simple but absolutely delicious. Got it on the way back after spending an afternoon at the Botanical Gardens. Very filling meal.
