We dined here for the first time based on recommendations from friends and they were not wrong - what a great place. The service is great, the staff is actually very friendly, and professional throughout. We tried bone in NY strip, ribeyes and filets and all were cooked exactly like we asked for. The menu is great, many options, also on the appetizer side. Book well in advance - this place is popular!

A little bit fancy place to go out for dinner, with something for every taste. The food is good, but to be honest, the steak is always a bit over-seared on the outside for my liking—it’s just not my style. However, my friend enjoyed it, so it might depend on personal preference. Still, it’s a nice spot to go out, have a relaxing dinner, and chat with friends.

I like Grill Royal.
Food is always good. Always maintain the quality.
Service is fine, no long waiting. Sometime can be too loud, and summer can be very warm inside..
It’s pricy place but I like the easy vibe. Easy going.
I always had a good time. juicy steaks, well cook, seafoods are also fresh and tasty. Side dishes were good. Nothing to complain. If the lady room had better vibe, it would be PERFECT.

A great restaurant that looks as if it was there for a very long time. The staff is well trained, the kitchen is visible from the whole restaurant. The food was outstanding, and even though the place is a bit pricey, it’s worth it. Highly recommended.

We arrived without a reservation, and despite the restaurant being full, we were warmly welcomed and offered a lovely table. The service was exceptional, and the food truly delicious. Nancy, the sommelier, stood out for her professionalism and kindness. Our evening was truly wonderful, with a warm atmosphere and exquisite flavors.

We had a nice meal at Amrit! Can recommend. Delicious food, good hospitality, and cleanliness. The "spicy" food isn't that spicy, though. It's really aimed at the German tongue.
The heating is up REAL high though😂

We loved dining at Amrit! We ate here on two separate occasions during our 5 day trip. The customer service was lovely and the food was delicious. We highly recommend the samosas, eggplant curry and plant based butter chicken!! Would definitely come back next time we are in Berlin!!

My friends and I were visiting Berlin and needed a good restaurant with good food and atmosphere for dinner.
We found AMIT and decided to try it because we love to do Indian. The place was crowded but the atmosphere was really nice and beautiful. Staff also were friendly and trying to keep up the pace.
Although our food took really long to come but we understood it was due to the crowds. However, when our meals came, one friend had his own meal hot but mine and other two was not hot. Just barely lukewarm. I ordered lamb curry and the side of rice wasn’t also as hot although was better than the lamb curry as regards to temperature. I complained to my friends but went on to eat anyway as we were really hungry from touring the city. Sadly when I landed back in London the next morning, I had serous stomach issues that had to extend till the next day.
My advise to anyone dining, if you must wait this long to get your meals, only demand it arrives fresh and hot if you’re like me that gets sick if food isn’t freshly made and steaming hot.
Overall, atmosphere was amazing and staff were great!

Found Amrit restaurant on Google, and decided to try based on the ratings. The restaurant is well managed, maintained, very clean, good toilets, and well decorated interiors/ambience. The location is good and is easily accessible. We didn't find dedicated car parking, so had to use the roadside paid parking. The staff were courteous and the service was good. We didn't have to wait for long. We took the patio table to experience the city view/feel. Coming to the food, it was served fresh and hot, the taste was good. Out of all the dishes we ordered, chicken tikka isn't recommended. And the Indian Tea was a disaster. A bowl of ghee rice was complementary. Not a very expensive restaurant, and can be tried.

Needed something hot after really cold evening, hot pot was amazing! Guests get a lot of ingredients, that are definitely fresh! Service is good, highly recommend!

Food taste is consider good in Europe country as some essential ingredients is not available. Services is good. Pricing is reasonable especially for set lunches that is available during Tuesday to Friday. Been there many times during my stay in Berlin.

Really nice, original Chinese food. We highly appreciated the friendly service and that all allergens were listed properly in the menu. Also our request of gluten-free version of a dish was taken care of with consideration. We highly recommend this place. We will be back.

Best 水煮鱼 in all of Berlin! Great prices and lovely staff. One really cute waitress who speaks good english and the bao dim sun mix is lovely. I was suprised to find this resteraunt when I arrived but it tasted so good I spent almost every night there for dinner in Berlin.

Food is very nice - especially the Dada platter which contains a little bit of everything. Friendly staff, fast service, no pressure to leave. Only minor point that may put some people off is their choice of music (electro with quite a beat).

Filled to the brim with vegetables, but lucky I like my greens 😂
Beef steak cut used, and falafel is very tasty when freshly fried. Flavourful food overall.

Wow now i tasted their Shawarma! Handmade and sehr lecker !! Also
This is by far the best falafel I had in Berlin even though I often eat this in Berlin. But this place was unexpectedly so good, clean , super fresh, no smell of oil and the restaurant is very cosy and well presented. Quite a surprise to find such a place in Mitte!! Bravo!

We were sweating in 30 degrees and the sun was baking on our fur. And as much as I like the kebab, there is no room in my stomach for meat in this heat. When I took the first bite of this sandwich with my shaky teeth, I immediately knew that it was a good decision and definitely not a mistake. Fresh ingredients and a little cheese as a meat substitute. Some part of the food should have lived in some form... the whole thing was prepared with joy, all good, thank you!

Rutz takes such a different approach to food from other Michelin places, all in Bavaria, that I have been to on my current trip to Germany. They say that they are into preserving food and being sustainable. One of my waiters also told me that the kitchen is not into making anything sweet. The techniques that they use on their food are quite interesting, and that leads to a somewhat unique dining experience. For example, the usual table-side saucing is replaced by table-side sprinkling of freeze-dried sauce droplets. The flavors of each element in their dishes seem to be intense on their own, but are quite harmonious when experienced together. The food is borderline ingenious vs self serving. My favorite of the menu were the bitter salad and the kohlrabi. The caviar can be skipped; even though, the Berlin royal caviar is quite different from the Thomas Keller one that I am used to in California. Oh, and they served cat fish... Service is top notch. Ambience is quite interesting with a display of jars which are full of preserved ingredients. Tableware has this earthen tone that intends to give out a more sustainability and demure vibes.

This was the best dining experience. Absolutely if I travel again to Berlin, I will come there and suggested to my friends

Nice fine dining experience, the only 3-star in Berlin.
They have a very local menu based around mostly ingredients from the region. I've seen that in some restaurants in Germany and Austria and it feels risky as you kind of expect to get premium ingredients at this price range. However, they pull this off pretty nicely, so I can recommend it.
The menu had plenty of fish, which was all around great. And the meat was also really good. In general the mixture of textures was noticeably good.
Place is nice, albeit I would expect a bit more space for a 3-star. The staff is attentive and professional, overall a nice experience.

Dining at this three Michelin star restaurant was an unforgettable experience. It was indeed very expensive, but for us worth every penny. The service was impeccable, with incredible attention to detail. The sommelier was fantastic, enhancing our dining experience with expertly chosen wines. The food was outstanding—each dish was not only delicious but also had a remarkable texture, showing the chefs' dedication to the textural experience of each meal. The restaurant's focus on local products was evident and added to the overall quality. While the price is significant, the exceptional service and exquisite food made it a night to never forget.

Very nice place with intimate atmosphere. The staff is very friendly and attentive, plus giving good recommendations.
Food is on the expensive side but this is a place where you probably go to have a special dinner, so given the quality and presentation, it's worth having the experience.
Great place, would definitely return :)

The food is good not the best. The waiter is so kind. They have vegan food which is our favorite.
The decoration and the atmosphere was really beautiful. But they are thieves! They charged us 9 euros for water that is from the Tap, not even a bottle! In all restaurants we were at, we always never paid for water that is from tap! Never. This is the first restaurant that charge this much for it! Never coming back here again.

Good food, and nice that they have vegan options. They charged us 4.5 euros for water each that is not even bottle, just tap water. It’s a theft. We never experienced such thing at a restaurant before. Never coming back again. 6/10

We stopped by Bombay Restaurant for lunch while touring Berlin and were impressed by their Business Lunch deal. As vegetarians, we appreciated the two options available—Dal Tarka and Palak Paneer. We went with the Palak Paneer, which came with rice, and the flavors were incredibly authentic and well-balanced.
The Lunch time deal also included a delicious lentil soup, a small Bhatura, and a fresh salad, which made for a satisfying and wholesome meal. If you’re looking for a great vegetarian meal, this restaurant is definitely worth a visit.

Food was just ok. I expected more flavor and spice. Had the lunch special with the vegetarian option, which came with lentil soup. Also ordered the mango drink and didn’t like it since I’ve had much better. Not bad for the price but I won’t be returning.

I wanted to try really authentic German food and this place happened to be within a walking distance for us as we walked around Berlin to see the touristy spots.
I ordered the kassler. Lovely cut of meat and the mashed potatoes were served well to even things out between textures. I wasn’t a massive fan of the raw fermented cabbage as it was very tangy in my opinion.
Service was good, prices aren’t cheap for food, but it was worth a try. Nice pub within the centre of Berlin.

We read the reviews to find this place and we were not disappointed. We went expecting authentic German food and thats exactly what we got. The service was friendly and the atmosphere inside was cozy. We had the original Wiener Schnitzel and Crispy Duck, both were delicious.
Stephen Gibson - 5 months ago
I was a little disappointed with this as it had quite the high reviews. The food was average and didn't really have much flavor. The soup was a little too watery for my taste and needed salt, the bread was very dense. The Spätzle was very salty and was filled with onions - fried and spring onions and chives. It was really hard to finish cause the onions were overpowering everything else. Bratwurst was also underwhelming, could've used a little more flavor and little less water.
Service was fine, nothing special. Plenty of seating indoors and outdoors. You can pay by card. Overall, okay experience but will probably not be back.
Heidi Elhawary - 9 months ago
I was very satisfied with the service and completely dissatisfied with the cuisine. Let's go in order: I showed up without a reservation on a Saturday around 6.45pm. I was greeted with big smiles and immediately placed at the raised table next to the entrance. Since at least three small tables remained empty during dinner, I would have preferred to be placed there. But the service was truly so excellent and attentive that it made me forget where I was sitting. Unfortunately I was really disappointed by the cuisine. My rinderrouladen looked like the pre-cooked one from the supermarket, but much saltier and stringier. Served with a salad that looked like it had just been taken out of the bag and some anonymous potatoes. I don't like leaving food on my plate, but once the meat was cold, it became the insole of my shoe. I will return and try another course. Maybe I was just unlucky, but from what I see it looks like the cuisine of a classic Berlin tourist restaurant.
Phil Kiwi - a year ago
It was lunchtime but super quiet, 3-4 locals in there.
I had schnitzel, hubby had goulash.
Goulash was wonderful, warming, comforting and very tasty.
My schnitzel was served with not so warm potato salad, was OK but have had better.
Price was very reasonable

It was absolutely freezing in Berlin last weekend and I was craving a warm meal. I stopped by this PHO noodle bar on a Friday night without a reservation. Luckily, I was by myself and they were able to seat me right away. If you have a bigger party I would definitely make a reservation! For the duration of my meal, I saw the staff turning away people because there was no space. I felt very lucky to be here.
The pho was excellent, I am gluten free and had the beef fillet pho and it was amazing. The staff was very fast to bring this to me, which was great because I was hungry. As a traveller I appreciated the boarding card menu. I thought it was really cute.
