We arrived without a reservation, and despite the restaurant being full, we were warmly welcomed and offered a lovely table. The service was exceptional, and the food truly delicious. Nancy, the sommelier, stood out for her professionalism and kindness. Our evening was truly wonderful, with a warm atmosphere and exquisite flavors.

The food was not especial at all, it is just super expensive and not even good. We went for an anniversary and we were very disappointed, people in Berlin recommend it a lot but don't know why. I guess just because looks fancy and is expensive but the service is terrible bad and the food not good at all. The worst is the waters and the hostess that just because one is not full of botox or makeup assume that one has no money and treat you but. Definitely not going back and wouldn't recommend it.

Very nice food, best beef I ever had.
Quite pricy, but very good quality too. The Atmosphere directly at the waterfront was very nice.
The furniture is a bit outdated.

One time and never again. While the food was solid, the service was severely lacking.
There was a waiter who was very rude. He spoke very disrespectfully, where you can hear Berlin slang. Immediately after dessert we were shooed away by the waiter because they needed the table even though there were plenty of other tables.
Overall, Grill Royal needs to seriously improve its service. Even the best food can't make up for feeling undervalued as a customer. I won't be returning anytime soon.

All on point, amazing food, location perfect, unfortunately we had a rude Italian waiter (Alessandro) that didn’t make our experience excellent. Shame that in a place like this having this kind of attitude.
Beside this all the rest of the team really lovely people.
Really recommended 👍🏽

Found Amrit restaurant on Google, and decided to try based on the ratings. The restaurant is well managed, maintained, very clean, good toilets, and well decorated interiors/ambience. The location is good and is easily accessible. We didn't find dedicated car parking, so had to use the roadside paid parking. The staff were courteous and the service was good. We didn't have to wait for long. We took the patio table to experience the city view/feel. Coming to the food, it was served fresh and hot, the taste was good. Out of all the dishes we ordered, chicken tikka isn't recommended. And the Indian Tea was a disaster. A bowl of ghee rice was complementary. Not a very expensive restaurant, and can be tried.

The decoration is super and exotic.
They also offer a large variety of menu to order. The staff are truly friendly.
Non-South Asian people will find these foods very delicious.
So for South Asian people, the food served is slightly above average if the decoration is not considered.

The place has a great ambience. Service is awesome. Very polite and helping staff. Excellent food quality and quantity. Rice is free with every main dish. Very much centrally located. Reasonable rates. One must try the non vegetarian dishes. I recommend to everyone who visit Berlin.

We had an amazing experience at this great, authentic Indian restaurant! Everything was so perfect! The food was excellent, some of the best Indian food we have ever eaten! We were served straight away despite how busy it was, and the food came quickly. The restaurant was beautiful, very big, clean, atmospheric, and had a lovely authentic design. And above all, the staff were SUPER kind, friendly, and accommodating!! The service was exceptional! They went out of their way to talk and make conversation with us and were so kind. We will definitely be back to this wonderful restaurant next time we are in Berlin! Highly recommend. Thank you so much Amrit Mitte 😃

The service is very nice. Atmosphere and decos were also super.
Paneer Makhni was delicious, not so heavy and not spicy.
The rice was clumpy, which is not seen very often to happen in Basmati or majority of restaurants have it correct as all dishes go with it.
We also ordered some Tandoori Roti and it was pretty bad, undercooked but like reheated during the day (that's why it seemed burned) and overall not recommended.
Drinks were good, Chai was very good and with a bit of honey at the bottom so nice sweet.
For dessert we had the Sizzling Brownie and it was super good.
They gave us some salad that was NOT AT ALL fresh. Tomatoes, cucumber and oranges seemed dry already from being out so long. I think they only offered this salad to cater to Europe.
Bathroom needs a bit more cleaning! Please give it more attention.
Overall I would come back, the establishment is super nice and comfortable :)

Really nice, original Chinese food. We highly appreciated the friendly service and that all allergens were listed properly in the menu. Also our request of gluten-free version of a dish was taken care of with consideration. We highly recommend this place. We will be back.

Food taste is consider good in Europe country as some essential ingredients is not available. Services is good. Pricing is reasonable especially for set lunches that is available during Tuesday to Friday. Been there many times during my stay in Berlin.

Best 水煮鱼 in all of Berlin! Great prices and lovely staff. One really cute waitress who speaks good english and the bao dim sun mix is lovely. I was suprised to find this resteraunt when I arrived but it tasted so good I spent almost every night there for dinner in Berlin.

Went here to get hot pot with friends and it was really good. You get 5 different sauces that you can choose from and can get refills on meat cuts, fish and veggies to add to the sauces.
When you go there, please note that upto 5 people will get one hot pot sauce dish to share. This kinda made us take time in choosing the sauces as everyone wanted to try different sauces and we could only choose two!

Excellent. Myself and my wife ordered the Hot-Pot for our anniversary meal. There was no lotus root, bamboo or enoki mushrooms but we still ate very well. Very helpful staff.

Food is very nice - especially the Dada platter which contains a little bit of everything. Friendly staff, fast service, no pressure to leave. Only minor point that may put some people off is their choice of music (electro with quite a beat).

Filled to the brim with vegetables, but lucky I like my greens 😂
Beef steak cut used, and falafel is very tasty when freshly fried. Flavourful food overall.

We were sweating in 30 degrees and the sun was baking on our fur. And as much as I like the kebab, there is no room in my stomach for meat in this heat. When I took the first bite of this sandwich with my shaky teeth, I immediately knew that it was a good decision and definitely not a mistake. Fresh ingredients and a little cheese as a meat substitute. Some part of the food should have lived in some form... the whole thing was prepared with joy, all good, thank you!

Extraordinarily good falafel and halloumi, and everything else is fine as well. Nice atmosphere, no fancy fine dining but cozy and friendly with style. Some 50 seats at 20 tables inside and outside. Friendly service. Prices are reasonable, 7-15 Euros for a great meal.
I can very much recommend.

Rutz takes such a different approach to food from other Michelin places, all in Bavaria, that I have been to on my current trip to Germany. They say that they are into preserving food and being sustainable. One of my waiters also told me that the kitchen is not into making anything sweet. The techniques that they use on their food are quite interesting, and that leads to a somewhat unique dining experience. For example, the usual table-side saucing is replaced by table-side sprinkling of freeze-dried sauce droplets. The flavors of each element in their dishes seem to be intense on their own, but are quite harmonious when experienced together. The food is borderline ingenious vs self serving. My favorite of the menu were the bitter salad and the kohlrabi. The caviar can be skipped; even though, the Berlin royal caviar is quite different from the Thomas Keller one that I am used to in California. Oh, and they served cat fish... Service is top notch. Ambience is quite interesting with a display of jars which are full of preserved ingredients. Tableware has this earthen tone that intends to give out a more sustainability and demure vibes.

Dining at this three Michelin star restaurant was an unforgettable experience. It was indeed very expensive, but for us worth every penny. The service was impeccable, with incredible attention to detail. The sommelier was fantastic, enhancing our dining experience with expertly chosen wines. The food was outstanding—each dish was not only delicious but also had a remarkable texture, showing the chefs' dedication to the textural experience of each meal. The restaurant's focus on local products was evident and added to the overall quality. While the price is significant, the exceptional service and exquisite food made it a night to never forget.

Simply fantastic, this was the best dining experience I’ve had. The food was light and fresh, the flavours were excellent and the many different cooking techniques were perfectly executed. The service staff were super attentive and the wine pairing was amazing. The service was tight but not impersonal. I have only one word to describe the experience, impeccable.
DrL0ck - 4 months ago
Indeed, a remarkable culinary experience. Local ingredients are artfully transformed into innovative dishes. The staff is both charming and knowledgeable, creating a relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere. It is no wonder they have achieved their (proudly displayed) stars.

After living in Berlin for 10 years I finally made it to Rutz and it was a wonderful experience from start to finish. I won’t write a paragraph about the food, although I could: it was just outstanding, both aesthetically beautiful and very tasty. I’d like to mention non-alcoholic pairings because it’s not a very common thing to be offered and my friend who couldn’t drink alcohol enjoyed these a lot and didn’t feel left out at all. Also a special thanks to Falco for being such a great host and assisting us with the dog accommodation.

Very nice place with intimate atmosphere. The staff is very friendly and attentive, plus giving good recommendations.
Food is on the expensive side but this is a place where you probably go to have a special dinner, so given the quality and presentation, it's worth having the experience.
Great place, would definitely return :)

Truly a superb balance between food, ambience and service. The convivial leather 'banquette' seating and the feeling of cool space sets the tone. Reading the menu, you realize you made the right choice. Our waiter was knowledgeable, friendly and present when needed. The first course selections were varied and all presented beautifully. Oysters were a nice addition as well, and very fresh. The "200", their 200g steak offering, was very good, and the correct size after our arrray of starters. A solid listing of cocktails, traditional and otherwise, and a very decent wine list meant all of the food was well paired. Last but not least, the 'Death by Chocolate' dessert was outstanding, and offered several flavours of chocolate offerings on one plate. A great evening, and worth the visit.

Food was just ok. I expected more flavor and spice. Had the lunch special with the vegetarian option, which came with lentil soup. Also ordered the mango drink and didn’t like it since I’ve had much better. Not bad for the price but I won’t be returning.

We stopped by Bombay Restaurant for lunch while touring Berlin and were impressed by their Business Lunch deal. As vegetarians, we appreciated the two options available—Dal Tarka and Palak Paneer. We went with the Palak Paneer, which came with rice, and the flavors were incredibly authentic and well-balanced.
The Lunch time deal also included a delicious lentil soup, a small Bhatura, and a fresh salad, which made for a satisfying and wholesome meal. If you’re looking for a great vegetarian meal, this restaurant is definitely worth a visit.

We read the reviews to find this place and we were not disappointed. We went expecting authentic German food and thats exactly what we got. The service was friendly and the atmosphere inside was cozy. We had the original Wiener Schnitzel and Crispy Duck, both were delicious.
Stephen Gibson - 2 weeks ago
I was a little disappointed with this as it had quite the high reviews. The food was average and didn't really have much flavor. The soup was a little too watery for my taste and needed salt, the bread was very dense. The Spätzle was very salty and was filled with onions - fried and spring onions and chives. It was really hard to finish cause the onions were overpowering everything else. Bratwurst was also underwhelming, could've used a little more flavor and little less water.
Service was fine, nothing special. Plenty of seating indoors and outdoors. You can pay by card. Overall, okay experience but will probably not be back.

It's a true hidden gem - great food (and generous serving sizes), friendly and attentive service, and absolutely marvellous ambience.
Martin Denz - 2 months ago
I was very satisfied with the service and completely dissatisfied with the cuisine. Let's go in order: I showed up without a reservation on a Saturday around 6.45pm. I was greeted with big smiles and immediately placed at the raised table next to the entrance. Since at least three small tables remained empty during dinner, I would have preferred to be placed there. But the service was truly so excellent and attentive that it made me forget where I was sitting. Unfortunately I was really disappointed by the cuisine. My rinderrouladen looked like the pre-cooked one from the supermarket, but much saltier and stringier. Served with a salad that looked like it had just been taken out of the bag and some anonymous potatoes. I don't like leaving food on my plate, but once the meat was cold, it became the insole of my shoe. I will return and try another course. Maybe I was just unlucky, but from what I see it looks like the cuisine of a classic Berlin tourist restaurant.
Phil Kiwi - 9 months ago
It was lunchtime but super quiet, 3-4 locals in there.
I had schnitzel, hubby had goulash.
Goulash was wonderful, warming, comforting and very tasty.
My schnitzel was served with not so warm potato salad, was OK but have had better.
Price was very reasonable

Really good food, service was a little slow today as I think they were short staffed, only two members of staff taking orders, and probably extra busy due to it being marathon weekend. Food still came out very quickly after being ordered and was very good. Nice little place with friendly staff and good selection of dishes to choose from, worth making a visit if you are in the area.
