Reviews
I visited the place simply because I was just passing by. The first impression was ok, there was music from the 1960s in the background. Then the menu arrived and it looked terrible. I felt like washing my hand right after. The waitress was polite, but the food was truly disappointing. Hardly ever do I come across such a bad pizza. The dough was like a huge crisp, there was much too much cheese and its quality left a lot to desire. I'm definitely not coming back. Sorry. :(
English Inn - 2 weeks ago
It was such a nice place with a great portion size. We took fries with cheese and it was the biggest I have ever seen. Not the tastiest one (to my opinion the fries were not that tasty), but great for 2 people. I also took a breakfast, which was filled up with fresh fruits and amazing jam. It is 25€ for 2 people. We also took 2 glasses of juice.

The burgers were alright, fries a bit too creasy. Milkshake is fine. Service was very nice. I think for a diner is the quality level OK!

We signed up for a brewery tour as one of the excursions which Viking cruise took us here!
When we arrived at 7:00 PM, it’s almost full house already. So do make reservations if you like to come!
The pork knuckles they served was one of the most tender one we had for my wife and I been in the Germany for over 10 days now!
We drink Pilsner beer and bocks beer, both are pretty good!
Then we have a brewery tour and beer testing which I am not too fond of their dark beer!
I it was a very interesting evening. If I come back to Berlin again I will definitely come here to have a few beer and a meal.

Found this place whilst searching for a nice drinking establishment. Built into the railway arches across 2 with plenty of room for eating and socialising. We only had drinks but the food looked really good. We had once of the tasting boards which had 6 different beers, all very nice. This led us to buy additional drinks which we had just tasted.

We went to this place with a bunch of friends
We tried tasting every possible beer they have - we ordered west coast IPA, helles, Indian pale ale and many more with pommes frites. The washroom was quite innovative with a cockroach

Das Lemke in Berlin served the best burger I’ve ever had—cooked to perfection with incredible flavor. The service was beyond friendly, making me feel welcome from the moment I walked in. The atmosphere was amazing, a perfect blend of cozy and lively. Highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Berlin!

We hastily looked for lunch options for my parents spontaneously visiting us during our stay in Berlin and we came over Das Lemke, and what a find it was! Apart from them being understaffed it was a phenomenal experience with both us and parents leaving feeling full and satisfied. We ordered their beer tasting flight which was both fun and great tasting - this tiny Brauhaus has one several beer awards which to us is understandable! The food was as great, hearty, and great to share between us. The atmosphere and interior was fitting as well and it was funnily enough such a vibe sitting under a bridge with ongoing traffic. Lemke is definetly worth a visit!

Excellent find. Nice little tapas spot in the middle of a cool neighbourhood. Excellent selection and service. Really enjoyed everything we had. Wine was on the pricey side. I would recommend a bottle over a glass for value. Will definitely be back.

We had a fantastic experience at Yosoy Tapas! Even though we were the last customers of the night, the staff went above and beyond to serve us amazing dishes and ensure we felt welcome.
The atmosphere was vibrant and cozy, making it the perfect spot for a relaxed evening. The lovely staff truly made our meal enjoyable, always checking in on us and sharing recommendations. Their enthusiasm for the food was contagious!
Each tapas dish was delicious, bursting with flavor and beautifully presented. From the classic options to some unique creations, everything we tried was top-notch.
Overall, the service was perfect, and it’s clear that the staff genuinely cares about their customers. If you’re in Berlin and craving great tapas with an inviting atmosphere, Yosoy Tapas is a must-visit!
Thank you 😊

Love this place, if you want authentic Spanish food, you're at the right place. Service, food, atmosphere muy bueno. We went back 2 days on trott, like German food, but bit heavy, love our smaller dishes. Only complaint, get a Spanish night club, would be perfect.

It’s grate place to visit!! Food was affordable and it was delicious!! Service was also nice and they take only card so be noted:) If you looking for tapas bar with good price? Its here!

after ordering our food the tapas came shortly after - tasty and good portion sizes but missing the paella we ordered? we ate all our tapas and we waited 1 HOUR for the paella that was suppose to come all together.
waiter didn’t even come to check up on us to ask if we wanted more drinks or to let us know the paella would take longer. appetite was ruined by the time the paella came. not what i expected after paying €65, a joke

Amazing atmosphere. Went to watch the Liverpool match. Staff were friendly, they also had a singer on who sang songs that every one joined in to, she also had an amazing voice. Was a great night.

Awesome Pub. Went there twice during our Berlin visit. Great atmosphere and even better music (lots of The Cure and other classic goth tunes). Food was very tasty and the service, even with a totally crowded bar, on point as well. Definitely recommend going there if you want a pint in a cosy setting with great music.

Hands down the best breakfast I've ever had!!! Served in a hot bowl that keeps it piping the entire time!
Great service & fantastic atmosphere, its everything you want.
And also, top drawer live music.
The best reason to visit Berlin.

Came here as tourists and had a wonderful time on NYE! Staff was very friendly and helpful. Security as well, they organized us a place to sit even though we didn't ask. Prices were okay honestly as expected in this area. Live music made the atmosphere perfect.
This night is one for the books. :)

A lovely experience visiting Aposto. Despite having no reservation we were seated immediately. The pizza was delicious and service was great. A lovely atmosphere. We also appreciated not being rushed out despite it being busy! Would highly recommend.

Do not come here without cash. They will not accept card payments unless the bill is €30 or more. I was a solo tourist and my bill came to €26.90. I have travelled across Europe and had never come across this until now, €30 minimum is not really normal.
Otherwise, my food was nice and I appreciated the friendliness of the waitress (despite the payment rules) and outdoor seating area.

This Italian restaurant is a solid choice if you’re nearby. The pizza was fresh and flavorful, and their wine selection had some good options. The service crew was friendly and approachable, making the experience pleasant. Worth a visit if you’re in the area.

Food is good and tasty. Nothing head blowing, but delicious. Good price and quality ratio ✌️
Service is astonishing. Waiters have good sense of humor. I like to come hate for some drinks and desserts on Sundays.
Nothing special, but it feels like home ❤️

If you’re looking for an excellent steakhouse experience in the heart of Berlin, Block House at Alexanderplatz is a top choice. The steaks are cooked to perfection, tender and flavorful, with a variety of cuts to suit every preference. The service is consistently friendly and attentive, making you feel right at home. Their sides, particularly the baked potatoes and fresh salads, complement the main dishes perfectly. The cozy atmosphere, coupled with a prime location near Alexanderplatz, makes this spot perfect for both casual and special occasions. Highly recommend for steak lovers!

Don’t be put off if there is a queue or whatever at the door. People were hanging around outside smoking which I find a bit 🤦 but whatever. Inside, they are super efficient and the food is really good. Steaks were as good as we’ve had in Europe and the seating is very comfortable. The Tbone is worth it. Will definitely be back.

Amazing food and service. Really enjoyed the steak and accompaniments, everything cooked to perfection. Only thing I wasn't amazed by was the strudel. I'm not sure if it was fresh, the pastry was a bit like a croissant. Didn't change my experience though!

I ate here on my trip to Berlin recently. Loved the restaurant, very cosy and a good atmosphere. I enjoyed my steak and my beer.
Unfortunately my mother wasn't feeling well after ordering so cancelled her order which was under way. We felt bad about the whole thing and know the restaurant was inconvenienced by this as the steak was already being cooked. It took some of the shine off the experience which was a shame as I was looking forward to eating here after a recommendation from a friend.
Luckily the management understood and didn't charge us for the cancelled meal which we appreciated.

The steak is really juicy, with a very tenderised texture and the dress is at the right amount. Also the house made sour cream have the sour of vinegar, really wonderful with potatoes

Would go back here in a heartbeat - everything we got was good. I got the:
- Hokkaido pumpkin cream soup / gröstl of Iberico pork / pumpkin seeds & -oil
- Tagliatelle / chanterelle mushrooms / Guanciale speck / parsley
- Apple pie cocktail
My partner got the Linguine / prawns / olive oil / chili / garlic / salicornes and a dark and stormy. Everything was amazing. The staff were friendly, spoke English, and everything was perfect!

What a great place for a restaurant. I had visited the Hasselhoff Museum (LOL it was a hallway) and met up with my friends for lunch. Such a great location and the service was good, but the real winner was the people. There were people of all ages and lifestyles all in agreement that OXYMORON was the place to be. thank you!

We had an amazing evening at Oxymoron Restaurant in Berlin. The vegan food was absolutely outstanding—flavorful, creative, and beautifully presented. The wine selection was excellent, and the bottle we chose perfectly complemented the meal. The atmosphere is truly unique, with a charming vibe reminiscent of the Roaring Twenties. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a special dining experience in Berlin!

I stopped here for dinner and had the Beef Romulade. It was very good. The meat was very tender though slightly under seasoned. Very Large portions so you will not leave hungry!
Service was pleasant. They automatically charge a small gratuity for the table service (~5%).
Atmosphere was warm and cozy. Felt very local and nice especially with the age of the building!
It is CASH ONLY. So be prepared.
Overall good restaurant with traditional German cuisine!

Recommended by an American friend who lives a few months a year in Berlin, excellent suggestion. My wife had the devil's schnitzel, I had the goulash, and both were delicious. Potato soup to start was perfect. We did not realize there was an outside area to eat but it would not have mattered for us because it was 3° out and we needed someplace warm. The inside space was quaint, pictures on the walls, an old-fashioned cash register, only a few tables and beer taps that look like they have been there forever

Wow, that really hit the spot! I had a pesto lasagna, which I didn't even know existed up until this point. It was so good and served with a bunch of salad on the side. Top!
I also had an espresso and really liked the fact that it didn't have a sour aftertaste and was very tasty, just like it should be.
I'm looking forward to coming back to try other things on the menu!
