Great service with good local German dishes. I would recommend the original schnitzel with fried potatoes. Inside is warm and with seating close to a fireplace. In summer the outdoors seating must be nice.

Stopped by to eat on a rainy day as it was the nearest place. What do you know! I was pleasantly surprised by this restaurant. Atmosphere was very cozy and pleasant. The service was very friendly. Gutted to have only the capacity for the food that we ordered because I was curious to try the other dishes! The beer and alcohol selections were a lot, so I think you can find the taste that you’d prefer here. Will definitely be back here when I re-visit Berlin!

Just sat down for a beer to enjoy the view and it started raining! Stayed to eat and enjoy a beer or 2 , lovely calming garden area , good food and drink , tried the snapps, it's not for everyone! Lol We had to ask nicely, but the restaurant did allow us to take away a cake for birthday 🎂

Amazing place to try local German cuisine! Try the Schnitzel with baked potatoes and red berry marmalade and the Pork Knuckle. The first one was so nice, thin and crispy like a good Austrian beef Schnitzel! The second one was so well cooked and very soft meat. Also there was a very nice Bavarian atmosphere in this restaurant and the service was friendly. I have come to this place a couple of times but I will be back again soon! I am back to enjoy a short autumn weekend in Berlin and as expected I came back to this beautiful German rustic restaurant! Great service and even tastier dishes! This time we also tried the green salad that was very fresh and tasty!

Food Quality: surprised at the amazing pizza. The dough was fluffy, the ingredients were fresh, real cut up salami. Calamari rings were very greasy though. French fries also very good. Portions: quite decent. Drinks: biergarten style plus coffee Price: $$ not expensive, get good amount of food. Service: nothing outstanding, decent, and quick. A bit of an order mix up, but fixed quickly. Atmosphere: beautiful location by the river. And if you are lucky (or not) there could be some event happening and have some cultural music playing in the background. Highlights: location and pizza Things to improve: could use a little bit more shade during the summer. Payment Method: CC, cash

Nice restaurant / beergarden in a remarkable place in Berlin! Next: the "schwangere Auster" and the house of cultures, next to the Spree channel. The place is more or less a huge beergarden with half of it as a self service area. Food and drinks are good. Teas and lemonade are fresh, wine and beer are chilled and tasty. The waiters are relaxed. Some of them are quite new to the job but I guess that's because everything just opened up again. Please mind: the serviced area offers almost no shadow during the late afternoon. But as the Terrasse is facing to the west you'll have quite a nice sunset and long sun hours. That place is nice to have a short break ore meet with a couple of friends for a few hours. Guests are more tourists and/or conservative. You may book your table vie "open table".

Great atmosphere for a cold beer by the water at sunset 🌅 it’s a super underrated place and even not many Berliners know about it. They do decent pizza with a self-service bar, what I like the most about this place is the atmosphere - it almost feels like being on vacation, 10 minutes away from the Central Station.

Great location in front of the river and only 5-7 min from underground stations. Very poor menu, mostly vegetarian. A few options of beer and long bar list

Great beer garden on a sunny day. The staff were very friendly. Good selection of beers and drinks. We definitely enjoyed our first evening beer here :)
