Unbelievable experience. Incredible food. Well orchestrated perfect service. They do one service at 7 and we were there until almost 11. I enjoyed every second. They time the food and the wine perfectly as the staff delicately moves between tables with precision. Super friendly and welcoming staff as well. Have nothing bad to say about this place. (Excuse the poor photos, I was trying not to completely ruin the ambience by taking photos!)

The quality of ingredients was good, but there seems to be a lack of empathy towards the guests' experience, particularly in terms of orchestration of flavours and textures between courses.
The location is impeccable, offering a direct view of the Brandenburg Gate. I guess that a significant portion of the price I paid was for the view rather than the food itself, though.
Overall, despite the high quality of the food, considering the price and the reputation, I was anticipating a more harmonious dining experience that delights the palate with a cohesive story through its dishes.

Incredible meal on New Year’s Eve. All the staff very knowledgeable about the (many!) beautiful unusual wines served with each course. It was all fabulous.

Eating 2 persons you are always faster than other tables and we where quite surprised with the long wait on between the servings . We made the staff aware and after that the speed improved but still we would have wanted faster pace .. we had a non alcoholic choice of bevarage which was great to try .. the good was very nice and we where surprised to see a dog at the restaurant.. We tool the largest option 10.course dinner and All services where very nice experience..

Fancy dining experience with great views of the Brandenburg Gate. The food and service are fantastic, It's a bit pricey but worth it for a special night... How do I explain this better? -The food will cost you more than your flight to Berlin ;)

Everything was totally top notch. Service was excellent and the roof top views cannot be beat. Food was beautiful and we'll presented but could have used a little more assertive flavors. Definitely make a reservation for a delightful lunch.

A very nice selection for breakfast, would have liked to have the option of the burcher muesli without vegan options, hence 4 stars. Service was spectacular, and the view is unmatched. Excellent kids breakfast. Maybe a smallet portion of fruit salad and yoghurt woulf be better though.

We kicked off the day with an unforgettable experience at the Käfer Roof Garden Restaurant 🍽️, located on top of the historic Reichstag building. This place is something special, offering not just a meal but a complete experience. Fun fact: it’s the only legislative building in the world with a public restaurant! Modern German 🇩🇪 cuisine made from fresh, regional products is their signature and they delivered on every promise. 🌟
Before I dive into the meal, I’ll say that getting there was a bit of an adventure🚦. Due to construction 🚧 in the area and where our taxi 🚕 dropped us off, we had to walk a bit to find the entrance. With an event happening nearby, certain areas were blocked off, adding to the hassle😒. Once we arrived, we went through a security screening similar to an airport. After the check, we waited in a group until we were escorted into elevators operated by staff. 🏛
One perk of having a reservation here (which is mandatory to dine at the restaurant) is access to the Reichstag’s dome, which is a photo-op lover's dream! 🤳📸 The dome offers incredible panoramic views of Berlin 🔭, especially if you venture up to the upper platform, standing a whopping 40 meters high. Inside the dome, there’s a light deflection cone made up of 360 mirrors that channel daylight into the plenary hall below. It's an engineering marvel and a sight to behold. 📸🏛️😍
Back to the food — service was impeccable from the moment we arrived. The hostess seated us quickly, and our waiter was an absolute gem 🌟. We opted for the most comprehensive breakfast option, aptly named the “Feel Good Breakfast,” and let me tell you, it did not disappoint:
- 1 glass of prosecco, freshly squeezed orange juice, and coffee or tea 🥂🍊☕
- A beautiful assortment of bread rolls, wholegrain bread, pastries, and croissants 🍞🥐
- Homemade jams, butter, and a selection of cheeses: tête de moine, camembert, mozzarella with tomato pesto, and wild herb-mountain cheese 🧀🍅
- Käfer’s beef ham, paprika turkey, smoked ham from apple-fed pigs, spianata salami, and smoked salmon with a honey-dill sauce 🥩🍖
- 3 scrambled organic eggs, plain yogurt with fruit sauce, and a seasonal fruit salad 🍳🍓
After finishing our delightful breakfast, we headed out to the terrace to take in the views and snap some photos with the city stretching out behind us. It was a perfect way to start the day, blending history, luxury, and scenic beauty all in one. 🌅📸
If breakfast isn't your thing, Käfer also offers lunch, aperitifs, and dinner, so you can enjoy the views and stellar service at any time of day. 🍽️🍷

It's not cheap, but it was well worth it. The food was fantastic! Remember to book in advance, arrive early, and bring your passport! You can also explore the Reichstag building roof afterwards.

A bit pricey, but worth it for access to the Bundestag (with a skip the line perk!) and the view of Berlin. The apéro meal had a preset menu, with a choice of dessert. I chose the pistachio cake which was good. The presentation of the dish was cute and chic, and surprisingly filling for being the cheapest thing on the menu. The apéro also came with a Prosecco drink. I was sat right next to the window with a view of Berlin and the TV tower in the distance. After having just done my audio tour of the dome, this was a great, calm spot to relax in the afternoon.

Amazing food with the right amount of flavours in every bite. We were on a dinner date and really had the best Indian food experience in India Club. All the servers were really friendly and the Manager also gave us a complimentary salad. A must try restaurant in Berlin!!

Best place to enjoy Indian cuisine in Berlin!
Comes with a high price tag but trust me each penny spent here is well worth it.
Ambiance, service , cutlery everything was very nice! Can definitely recommend going here to celebrate a special occasion!

This is the most authentic and amazing Indian food I have tasted in Germany! Everything was delicious and the service was great. I had such high expectations and it seems to have cross its boundaries.
The drinks we ordered were supreme the mixologist had a great taste and mixing ideas.
Will visit again and recommend you too to visit.

The service was great and very professional staff. The food was okey, not bad not something amazing, especially if you have tried Indian food in India. The cocktails were nice, the dessert nothing special at all.

Very nice restaurant, great atmosphere. We had a tasting platter that gives a good impression of the Indian taste/kitchen. The service was perfect, with a very kind host. Great choice of cocktails and wines

Went here after a 3 hr walking tour and it was a 5 min walk from the Brandenburg gates. We got seated after a 5 min wait as they only seated everyone on the patio area. The food was great and the service was great. We ordered the meat platter and the Schnitzel dish and apple strudel for dessert. I'd recommend this place and we actually went here 2 days in a row. Cheers!!

This German restaurant experience I had was decent, though I found the food a bit on the salty side for my palate. The ambiance was inviting, with a modern design that made for a pleasant dining atmosphere.
While the dishes were well-presented and had a variety of traditional options, the seasoning could use some adjustment. Some flavors were overshadowed by the saltiness, which detracted from the overall enjoyment.
The service was attentive, adding to the positive aspects of the visit. Overall, it’s a good spot if you're in the mood for German cuisine, but be prepared for a saltier taste than you might expect. I would recommend trying it out, but perhaps ask for less salt in your dishes if you're sensitive to it.

A solid choice for lunch or dinner! Located near many of the main attractions and sights like the Jewish memorial and Brandenburg gate, this place offers traditional German fare with a very nice atmosphere. The food we got was good, although it was a bit bland at times. The beer was also cold and delicious. You can find better German food in Germany, but this is a solid choice!

I have been to Berlin many times and in the last 15 years or so, have always eaten at the Alt-Berliner Wirtshaus at least once during my stay. I would say that there is no better in Berlin for quality of food at a very good price and in a traditional setting. I have tried most things on the menu and have never been disappointed. TRY IT, ENJOY IT.

Service was friendly. Food was okay, classic German offering. Tried all the specials, including the 'kiba' cherry and banana drink. Good size portions, particularly for the kids. I enjoyed my feta shaved salad too. Curry wurst was very good.

I was there for an event. Great service and amazing hospitality from the Manager Paolo and his team at the 7th floor rooftop Italian
restaurant. Will highly recommend if you get a chance to visit as it’s an exclusive invite only venue.

Was invited to an early dinner - the food was of good quality but really nothing special at all. Tasted like every other half decent Asian place in Berlin. The space itself is well designed with hide away rooms for private discussion but the bar seems a bit old fashioned and run down.
The highlight is 100% the art collection - one of the best selected collection of modern Chinese art I’ve seen!
In general though - I don’t get the hype unfortunately

We had a birthday celebration at China Club. Everything was impeccably prepared. Staff are extremely friendly and make sure that everyone enjoys their time.
Menu was already set, which was better than my last visit. Bar has a nice cosy ambience too.

To be honest it wasn't very good, the sauce seemed to be plastic, the sausage wasn't one of good quality either. I have eaten better currywurst for less.

Very good! I was exited for the famous currywurst when setting foot in Berlin and this place did not disappoint in the slightest. Loved the food, and the rustic vibe felt really natural and inviting. Really good, reasonable prices. Unfortunately there were no real vegetarian alternatives.
Tage Wiklund - 10 months ago
Amazing Currywurst and Bratwurst, both with chips and sauces. There are some lovely benches to enjoy your food there or you can walk just a few more meters and sit down with a splendid view on the Brandenburger Tor.
Also it worths mentioning... Nice portions!

This place is great. You have to taste the original berliner curry sausage with fries or bread roll.
The location is great, like the prices.

Stopped in for some afternoon drinks in the sunshine and we had a great couple of hours. A nice friendly greeting by all the staff. Gave good recommendations about the local beers without anything feeling forced, we played it safe though and went for the draft beer option. (Beer was lovely and cold) Free nibbles with the drinks consisting of crisps and nuts. Staff continued to be attentive and the drinks kept on flowing without having to ask. A great location on the edge of the square with the perfect view of the Brandenburg gate. Reasonably prices for drinks for such a busy location. Would recommend to others and would visit again.

Iconic location with a charming atmosphere. The hotel is beautifully decorated, and the staff is friendly and welcoming. However, while the food was decent, it didn't quite meet our expectations, and the coffee and soft drinks were below acceptable standards. Despite this, we appreciate the lovely ambiance and we would still recommend it as a nice place to unwind.

Amazing fine cuisine restaurant - any dish deserves ordering both from culinary and aesthetic prospective. Traditional Berlin liver was delicious! On top of that, you can enjoy wonderful view of the Brandenburg Tor outside.
Nazar - a year ago
The food was excellent, but when I approached the waiter to ask for a table, he claimed there were no available seats, even though three tables were clearly empty. When I asked why we couldn't take one of those tables, he responded that we had to wait inside because there was a queue. We left, but I noticed that the couple behind us was seated at one of those "unavailable" tables right away. We returned, and the flustered waiter quickly disappeared into the restaurant. Thankfully, a kind woman helped us and immediately found us a spot. Apart from this unpleasant deceit, everything else was fine. The waiter who behaved this way had a name starting with "A," was about 30 years old, light-skinned, and fairly tall. I suggest choosing staff more carefully to avoid dishonesty.

Great lunch after a day of sightseeing. We got the margherita pizza and a salad I forgot the exact name. As a vegetarian I liked that there was a planted chikn option. The pizza was thin and baked to perfection. The lemonade was delicious. Service was friendly and attentive. Prices are reasonable. Will definitely return.
Mary LeCompte - a week ago
The food here was surprisingly fantastic.
The thin, crusted pizza was great.
I only had one complaint. It is with the waiter we had. At the end of the meal, he hustled us for tips. He called them "smiles". So i tipped him a few euros. Then it came time for my friend to pay for his pizza, and he turned to my friend and hustled some more "smiles" from him. We don't mind tipping, but this guy put on a bit of undesirable pressure.
This is a great place to get some authentic italian food right by the Brandenburg gate.
The Laughing Lion - a month ago
The pizza was average and prices are quite high, which is somewhat expected since it's centrally located. However the bottled water is ridiculously expensive, charging €7.20 for a large bottle. The waiter was extremely approachable and friendly despite taking a while to get our order taken. We visited for dinner on a weekday as a large group of 11 with no reservation, and had no trouble being seated.

As appetizer we ordered gambei al limone, As main dish we ordered Tortellini al tarte and spaghetti salmone and as drink just spezis
I'm not kidding, the appetizer was the most delicious thing i have ever eaten in my life, never ate anything like it 1000/10
The main dishes were on the good side of average 9/10
The drinks (spezi) were mixed on spot, and it made them taste so insanely good
Staff was very kind, the view was stunning from outside
Worth every single cent, overall a 10/10
Would travel here 600km every week honestly

I paid 13e for a kebab and a drink.
The kebab was good but honestly you can have much butter for the same price. I recommend it only if you don't have time or if you are drunk

One of the best kebap I have ever tried. The flavours were perfectly balanced. Sauce quantity was perfect and did not cover the other ingredients. The vegetables were fresh and crunchy and meat quite tasty. Very nice and polite personnel. Totally recommended and worth the queue.

You get a whole lot of veggies and barely any meat in your Döner. If I wanted a veggie Döner, I'd have ordered one. Taste is alright though, location is just very touristy.
