You don’t expect much for a places that look like a tourist attraction, but we were positive surprised. The food is fresh, tasty and the service was efficient and polite. The location is fun to sit and watch as others walk by.

The Scheune, as a Person visited from London, an excellent variety of German food, delicious goose I advise to go at Christmas time too check out their goose, top tear quality! I’m 100% coming back next stay!

This restaurant has been consistently great. While it can be very busy service is never slow. Very good quality food, served by friendly and experienced staff. I’ve lots of very good memories here. I took my mother here when she was visiting from Ireland and she had such a good time. My German isn’t very good but I never have any problems here. The beer is good here too. Perfect after a cycle around Grunewald.

Have been to the Scheune several times over the years, and it is something we look forward to with each visit to Berlin. It is in a beautiful location in Grunewald, but easy to get to either by bus or S bahn. Even though it is quite large, It has a cozy local feel, with wonderful seating areas. The food is definitely Berlin and German with a great selection. Today had the goulash soup and Scheune style Schnitzel, and both were amazing, as always. But I couldn't finish... Had to take half home I was so full. If you want good food, at a reasonable price without being overrun by tourists... Come to the Scheune!

Great stop after a walk in the Grunewald. Reasonably priced German food with seasonal specialties. Famous are the goose dishes if you come in autumn, but there are many other tasty options as well. Nice terrace, despite being between the highway and train line, not too noisy.

A lovely place with really friendly staff. It is important to know that they don't accept cards, only cash for payments. Lovely set of Pizzas and Pastas. I was surprised with the quality of their pesto pasta, so delicious.

The food really is amazing. The staff was extremely nice and the atmosphere was good. There weren't enough seats but we were able to take the food home. The prices are reasonable.

Decent Italian restaurant with outdoor and a small indoor eating area. Great value for money and friendly service. Great for budget dining. Has a selection of gelato as well. Just next to Grunewald station. English is spoken.

If you’re visiting the platform 17 memorial and want to eat while you’re there, this is the place. Authentic German food and very tasty, topped off with a fantastic host and great German beer. Very homely in a peaceful Berlin suburb.

Love this place while I was on the way to sanssouci palace. The environment of the restaurant stays at 80 to 90 feels and the lady boss is very friendly although I can’t spreak German The foods and yummy and beer is chill! 😀

I used to love this place, the setting is super cute, very traditional decor, with this large beer garden and outdoor seating which catches a lot of sun. It’s dog friendly and I often stop here after a long walk in Grunewald. During the last few visits, things changed and the service got super bad… It’s slow, slow to order, slow to get your order and slow to take payment. If you ask how long things might take you get vague answers delivered with a lot of attitude. Today, I waited 35 mins for a plate of chips, it was not at all busy! The attitude of one bartender in particular is next level. In Berlin, bad service is kind of expected, but with her it’s truly the worst. You are ignored, for minutes, sometimes more. When you finally get attention, it’s like you’re really inconveniencing her. Today, I finally placed my order and politely let her know that we were sitting outside (it was a cold day, and most people were inside) my comment was first ignored, so I repeated myself and then received a shrug and an eye roll. To top it off, they were today, and have also been in the past, super super weird about card payments - they say it’s possible from 10 euros, and then (this bartender again) rolls her eyes and gets all snippy when you try and pay with card. I had an experience in the past where she said the card reader is not working, and then, after 10 or so minutes of looking for an ATM, she presented us with a perfectly working card reader, with no explanation. As an establishment, you either take card, or you don’t - this weird guilt trip is fun for nobody. I will never ever go here again - the atmosphere really stinks - it’s just stress for the sake of stress.

Thank you for the kindness of the service and the high quality of the food, the fryed calamari in Kalamarakia were so light but tasteful, that is when you know how skilled the Chef ist! I took also Feta and pita and the saganaki and it was all so good and savory.I come from Italy and I felt like home, beste Mahlzeit bis jetzt in Berlin hands down! The best quality/price ratio and I was also offered a digestive,trully appreciated. Also the location is as nice as the serving, I stayed outside but the indoor was lovely as well. Ευχαριστώ!

Beautiful location, near the trees and nature. It’s summer so we sat outside, the decor is gorgeous. Our waiter was so kind and attentive. We enjoyed Bosnian cuisine, it was authentic and delicious! We are so happy with the food and service and we are looking forward to coming back again soon! Really good experience!

Found this restaurant by chance and I am so glad we did! The waiter Kemal accompanied us from the start and was kind, helpful and so welcoming. The food was amazing, especially the roasted lamb! If you want delicious, authentic Bosnian/Balkan food and you’re in Berlin, this place won’t disappoint!

Great Balkan restaurant in Berlin! We ate cevapcici and cevapcici on kajmak and it was soooo good! Prices are also very resonable, especially for such a great meat quality. They have parking too.

The best juice shop in Berlin. I have known the shop and the owners for 12 years. The warmth, the fresh fruit, the fresh juices and in summer the tastiest ice cream. The shop is small, but the heart is even bigger :-)

Great energy source, freshly squeezed juice, before every bike tour through the Grunewald. The owners are very friendly and there is always fresh fruit. If you like, you can also get good ice cream in a waffle or a cup here. The ball costs €1.70. Kind regards and keep it up!
