It is a very cute little Italian restaurant and very busy. We were lucky to get a table on a Saturday evening, but I would recommend that you book a table in advance. The lighting is dimmed and the mood is cozy. We had the lasagne and pasta with Italian sausage and eggplant. Both were not up to the Italian standard we’ve experienced before, therefore only 3 stars. I wish I had tried the Parmesan truffle pasta, as it is made exactly like it should be by the table. With the big Parmesan cheese wheel and grated truffle. All in all is was ok, but nothing more.

Fantastic experience at Osteria Caruso! The steak was cooked to perfection, exactly as I wanted. I was attended by a waiter who spoke perfect English. Excellent service and lovely ambiance – highly recommend!

They're using cheap supermarket bought bacon, it looks cheap (as you can see in the photos) and it tastes cheap. Carbonara is really dry as you can see from the photos. Food is really below average. Really disappointed because it looked like a really nice Italian restaurant from the atmosphere but really disappointed in terms of the quality of the food. Don't go there. The only one who knows how to do "the Italian job" is the young girl behind the bar. She's doing great Aperol spritz and limoncello spritz. Apart from that...the only Italian thing here is the tap beer Moretti and the bottled water. Maybe the big wheel of parmesan even, but it's so really empty, it's probably old (just guessed)

Great Italian restaurant. We had a delicious dinner at Osteria Caruso. They were really kind to let us in even though we didn’t have a reservation and the restaurant was almost full. They have a large choice of pasta, pizza but also fish and meat. We got the pappardelle al salmon and it was simply delicious. The salmon was perfectly cooked with a lobster cause that brings so much flavours to the pasta. The waiter was careful and speaks English and French. Recommend that Italian place for a perfect night out.

Good basic Italian food at a reasonable price. Really good portions sizes. Service could be friendlier, but this did not stop us from enjoying our meal. I would recommend the calzone!

space is not very big. many people tried their pizza, but i like to try pasta more . normal pasta is under £10 pasta scampi £10.5 is tasty !

On the 17th floor of a West Berlin high-rise, this restaurant offers a magnificent view of the city; the ambience seems slightly seedy and worn. The waiters who served us were a mixture of bold and clueless. Especially the lady who told us with little enthusiasm about "some Asian spice" that was on our food. For €130 we still got a formidable dinner for two. The price was justified for the quantity and quality of the food. The Giotto cocktail was a bit too sweet, but good. 90 minutes at a lofty height: the view over Berlin was breathtaking and the food was great. If you can overlook the retro charm and a few flaws, you will experience an unforgettable evening here.

Awesome cocktail 🍹 bar with a view. Great at sunset. Not a lot of traffic during the week - party starts Thursday for the weekend according to the staff. Cocktails are great - no beer 😉 DJ on the weekends, so this is probably really cool - I will need to check this out!

Have you ever been to a restaurant where every dish you try is a 10/10? I've never had an experience like that. There is always at least one dish or more that don't hit the spot. Not here - from appetizers to main courses to dessert. Every single dish was outstanding. Well done and my compliments to the chef. I never rate anything more than 9.5, but this place, this place is a 10.

Amazing place with a crazy view over berlin. Food was perfect, we had a set menu for 140€ per person. It was more of a 15-course menu with a huge variety of flavors & proteins. Steak was remarkably great, the caviar as well. Highly recommended, they also have a second floor for drinks only where you can enjoy the 360 view.

This restaurant is owned & run by a Vietnamese family, so the food is generally authentic, with some tweets for the locals. The food was good and tasty for a reasonable price. A great little local restaurant full when we arrived and some collected food to takeaway.

We ordered the chicken pho, vegetable spring rolls and the salmon curry and some drinks. The pho broth was just okay....not really tasty. We could taste the fish sauce instead of the broth being boiled long. The portion was good. The salmon was really dry and the curry sauce was okay and not really tasty. The portion and presentation was good. Spring rolls were crispy but there was barely any vegetable filling inside. I would rate their spring rolls a 1/5. Service was good.

Had the salmon red curry and it was outstanding. Probably my favorite curry in all of Berlin. Fresh vegetables, balanced flavor, a bit sweet, and many amazing spices/herbs!

I tried mango curry and with chicken, fried wantons and ginger tea. The wanton was not my favorite because the filling was very thin. But I loved mango curry. It was fresh, right amount of chili. I liked their staff, very friendly.

We were staying in Berlin for only 4 days and went to this place twice during our stay. Food was amazing both times we went with a great selection of food for both meat eaters and vegetarians. The Tom yam was full of flavour along with the mango curry which was had the both times we went. A very good priced restaurant and very authentic, would highly recommend.

Very tasty and cheap lunch menu. I had M5. Beef was tender and flavorful. I would recommend if you are nearby. Basically self-service. You order and pay at the front with cash. When the food is ready, you will need to go get it. Lunch time is very packed. I don’t think they have enough people to work there. I would wash their dishes because the food was so tasty.

Shhh! Don’t tell people about this spot because it feels like one of Berlins best kept secrets. Authentic and high quality Indonesian and south Asian cuisine. In the summer sitting outside is like heaven. Affordable and very friendly staff. Take me back!

Toasts were fine, croissants looked as if someone tortured them and you get cappuccino for probably any type of coffee… this was my small flat white (there is somewhere an Italian crying when seeing this coffee). Place overrated…

Wandered into this place randomly because we had just arrived in Berlin and I knew I wanted a coffee.. but we ended up getting so much more! The vegan options are excellent. Chocolate cake loaf, with a nice glaze on top, the blueberry muffin and cherry muffin were both delicious too. The coffee was great, each time we went. Had their fresh pressed juice a few times too. So nice. Ended up going in 4 different times during our visit. Staff was super friendly, patient, helpful, and fast. No complaints at all. Anytime we come back we’ll be going to Maracay, that’s for sure.

We tried the Scandinavian breakfast, chai tea latte, cappuccino, orange juice and toasted sandwich. My husband said it’s the best chai tea latte he has had. There was a little mix up with our order however the servers were very apologetic and gave us a muffin as a good will as well as quickly rectifying our order. The atmosphere was also great and the servers were really friendly.

This review is based on staying at a number of Accor brand hotels . This hotel met all the benefits of the Movenpick brand, except for the bathroom design. To shower, you have to climb over the 19 inches high bathtub sidewall - I measured it for this comment. This may be ok for young folks but for older folks it is hard to get in and out, besides the hazard of falling. A minor issue is the 8 inches step into the bathroom and the hard to use sliding door. The plus features are: Right around the corner from the S train and bus stops. A short train or bus ride to Potsdamer Platz: this area is close to two malls and a lot of restaurants. Breakfast area is comfortable with natural lighting. The breakfast variety was a notch above Mercure and Novotel brands. Receptionists are very cordial and helpful. The room is L shaped and has a sofa and chair with a coffee table on one side. It loos and feels spacious. Brandenburger Gate is only two stops on the underground.

Affordable menu prices, would definitely visit here once again. No waiting, a great new spot to try for supper. Great service and atmosphere, would recommend the food and good for kids too. A good selection of food within the menu, always has plenty of meals to choose from and new dishes added by the chefs constantly. Service was fantastic and absolutely adored the food, will be returning.

Really good food and huge portions. We had a wiener schnitzel that came with potato salad and fresh salad and we also had a pork knuckle with sauerkraut - both were real home food vibe and tasted really good. Nice and friendly staff- recommend! Spacious room. Music - a good christmas playlist as we visited in december, perfect volume too. Maybe a bit weird decor,but who cares if food is good, right?

This restaurant gives a very authentic Bavarian cuisine served in most friendly style which adds on the good feeling’s over the real mouth watering taste. Had very lovely time here with my family and guest cane to visit me from USA. Best beer 🍺 Augustiner , wow. I would definitely recommend everyone to have great food and environment here. 🙏🙏

Place looks quite new, and not "Bavarian" at all. If you're looking for a traditional experience please look somewhere else. The staff is quite nice, welcoming and kind. You can see they're doing their best. A bit weird to order a starter made of a Bavarian sausage and a Pretzel and to receive them in a really questionable presentation. For the rest, the food did taste nice.

Very tasty food and really good coffee! Plenty of indoor and outdoor seating at this smaller cafe vibe eatery. The staff was all very friendly and delivered excellent service. We enjoyed a mix of avocado toast, eggs with Sucuk, coffee, fresh bread, and pastries. Definitely recommend for an easy, delicious breakfast at reasonable pricing.

We've been here 3 times for breakfast as we were staying at the Movenpick hotel a few meters further. It's a very good business and always a lot of people. Very friendly people working here! Definitly try the home made muesli/granola! It's superb! The fruit differs from day to day. Be aware you need to pay cash! Something I found very weird because we don't see that anymore in Belgium.

You know when they say it’s the little things that matter, well I got scrambled eggs w Gouda and it came w side of veggies and WARM bread. The orange juice came from a magic garden that made it taste oh so delightful and frothy. Breakfast was excellent and portion generous all for 14 euros!! I saw they had some special beans which must be good as so many people got their Java

Absolutely love this place. The staff are all lovely and very friendly and helpful. Their food is delicious and I would recommend it to anyone. We stayed in a hotel nearby, but we chose to eat breakfast or brunch here each day. The quality of food is excellent and their prices are very reasonable. I would particularly recommend the avocado toast with egg and cheese. It is delicious. The omelettes are fantastic too. We will definitely be making a return visit next time we are in Berlin.

A real treat. We had a Sunday brunch here. A very interesting and pleasant design with very well thought through acoustics - didn't feel noisy at all even with many people and music. A very friendly service with a nice treat of hot wine. The dishes were all very high quality and delicious. The cocktails were amazing. It was child friendly too. Really curious to come back for dinner.

Berta guarantees an outstanding experience. The restaurant exudes a family-like atmosphere that perfectly blends with professionalism, creating an excellent mix. The dishes served were fantastic and reminded me of my trip to Israel. They were creatively crafted, aesthetically presented, and generously sized. Not every dish was perfect, but each one offered a unique experience for the palate. I recommend trying several dishes to fully appreciate the chefs' capabilities. The service is another incredibly positive aspect. Despite the busy atmosphere, I felt completely taken care of, including complimentary dishes we received to further explore the menu while waiting. As we were the last customers, we ended up closing the restaurant much later than the official hours. No one minded, and on top of that, at our request, we were served espresso even though the kitchen and bar were already closed. I was also impressed by the decor. Traditional and family elements were brilliantly combined with modern, raw concrete and large glass windows. The open kitchen was adorned with traditional dishes, adding to the atmosphere—very charming! During my next visit to Berlin, I will definitely come back!

Price/quality ratio, top. Amazing food, great service. High quality, the place also looks fancy, stylish and cool. The day I visited, it was very loud to the point that it was hard to have conversations. The octopus was superb and also the desserts.

The eggplant crème brûlée appetizer is a must have. Probably best thing I’ve ever ate. Would give anything to try it for the first time again!!! Came here with family and split a bunch of dishes. Really enjoyed the fish shawarma, the risotto, the polenta and the lamb were also delicious. The place has great decor, very stylish yet homey. Love the family portraits on the wall and the open concept kitchen. We could hear the chefs coordinating and it seems like a super efficient staff. We never had to wait long. Excellent food. On the higher end, but definitely worth the splurge.
