Fantastic experience at Osteria Caruso! The steak was cooked to perfection, exactly as I wanted. I was attended by a waiter who spoke perfect English. Excellent service and lovely ambiance – highly recommend!

They're using cheap supermarket bought bacon, it looks cheap (as you can see in the photos) and it tastes cheap. Carbonara is really dry as you can see from the photos. Food is really below average. Really disappointed because it looked like a really nice Italian restaurant from the atmosphere but really disappointed in terms of the quality of the food. Don't go there. The only one who knows how to do "the Italian job" is the young girl behind the bar. She's doing great Aperol spritz and limoncello spritz. Apart from that...the only Italian thing here is the tap beer Moretti and the bottled water. Maybe the big wheel of parmesan even, but it's so really empty, it's probably old (just guessed)

It is a very cute little Italian restaurant and very busy. We were lucky to get a table on a Saturday evening, but I would recommend that you book a table in advance. The lighting is dimmed and the mood is cozy. We had the lasagne and pasta with Italian sausage and eggplant. Both were not up to the Italian standard we’ve experienced before, therefore only 3 stars. I wish I had tried the Parmesan truffle pasta, as it is made exactly like it should be by the table. With the big Parmesan cheese wheel and grated truffle. All in all is was ok, but nothing more.

Great Italian restaurant. We had a delicious dinner at Osteria Caruso. They were really kind to let us in even though we didn’t have a reservation and the restaurant was almost full. They have a large choice of pasta, pizza but also fish and meat. We got the pappardelle al salmon and it was simply delicious. The salmon was perfectly cooked with a lobster cause that brings so much flavours to the pasta. The waiter was careful and speaks English and French. Recommend that Italian place for a perfect night out.

The Italian fares were fresh, sizeable portions, clean and well seasoned and prepared. We had pork over rigatoni, gnocchi with a pomodoro sauce and fresh cubed mozzarella. The appetizers were a beef carpaccio, bruschetta.. And the dessert was this delicious tirsmisu. Everyone spoke English OK, but I found service to be a little lacking. Our server seemed distracted, forgot requests we had and seemed all over the place. Perhaps it was a busy night but I find that inexcusable... That's what separates the good from the great restaurants; the ability to work well under pressure and make the patrons feel well tended to. The beef carpaccio was heavenly... Def try this.

Good basic Italian food at a reasonable price. Really good portions sizes. Service could be friendlier, but this did not stop us from enjoying our meal. I would recommend the calzone!

On the 17th floor of a West Berlin high-rise, this restaurant offers a magnificent view of the city; the ambience seems slightly seedy and worn. The waiters who served us were a mixture of bold and clueless. Especially the lady who told us with little enthusiasm about "some Asian spice" that was on our food. For €130 we still got a formidable dinner for two. The price was justified for the quantity and quality of the food. The Giotto cocktail was a bit too sweet, but good. 90 minutes at a lofty height: the view over Berlin was breathtaking and the food was great. If you can overlook the retro charm and a few flaws, you will experience an unforgettable evening here.

Awesome cocktail 🍹 bar with a view. Great at sunset. Not a lot of traffic during the week - party starts Thursday for the weekend according to the staff. Cocktails are great - no beer 😉 DJ on the weekends, so this is probably really cool - I will need to check this out!

We ordered the chicken pho, vegetable spring rolls and the salmon curry and some drinks. The pho broth was just okay....not really tasty. We could taste the fish sauce instead of the broth being boiled long. The portion was good. The salmon was really dry and the curry sauce was okay and not really tasty. The portion and presentation was good. Spring rolls were crispy but there was barely any vegetable filling inside. I would rate their spring rolls a 1/5. Service was good.

Had the salmon red curry and it was outstanding. Probably my favorite curry in all of Berlin. Fresh vegetables, balanced flavor, a bit sweet, and many amazing spices/herbs!

I discovered this place by accident and am returning since then, whenever in Berlin. Authentic, not touristy, tasty, well priced Vietnamese restaurant. Recently had fried chicken mango curry, recommend. Friendly staff! I’ll be back!

I tried mango curry and with chicken, fried wantons and ginger tea. The wanton was not my favorite because the filling was very thin. But I loved mango curry. It was fresh, right amount of chili. I liked their staff, very friendly.

Decent price fresh authentic Vietnamese food, we ordered chicken mango curry, tofu red curry and summer rolls and enjoyed all of them. The highlight was fresh infusion teas - lemon ginger and jasmine. We were served well and it’s a clean nice family run business. Highly recommended if you are staying in the area.

Very tasty and cheap lunch menu. I had M5. Beef was tender and flavorful. I would recommend if you are nearby. Basically self-service. You order and pay at the front with cash. When the food is ready, you will need to go get it. Lunch time is very packed. I don’t think they have enough people to work there. I would wash their dishes because the food was so tasty.

After the big change, I scarcely find anything related with Indonesian cuisine here. Two dishes we ordered didn't come close to anything Indonesian. It tasted OK but the authenticity couldn't be delivered. I think they might be better with Indian cuisine, but a big No from me if you would seek anything Indonesian. What a pity. This place used to serve a very good meal before.

Wandered into this place randomly because we had just arrived in Berlin and I knew I wanted a coffee.. but we ended up getting so much more! The vegan options are excellent. Chocolate cake loaf, with a nice glaze on top, the blueberry muffin and cherry muffin were both delicious too. The coffee was great, each time we went. Had their fresh pressed juice a few times too. So nice. Ended up going in 4 different times during our visit. Staff was super friendly, patient, helpful, and fast. No complaints at all. Anytime we come back we’ll be going to Maracay, that’s for sure.

Popped in here around noon on a workday and finding a table was not an issue. Wi-Fi was snappy, the staff very friendly and the breakfast plate quite filling.

We tried the Scandinavian breakfast, chai tea latte, cappuccino, orange juice and toasted sandwich. My husband said it’s the best chai tea latte he has had. There was a little mix up with our order however the servers were very apologetic and gave us a muffin as a good will as well as quickly rectifying our order. The atmosphere was also great and the servers were really friendly.

We liked the place for our breakfast when visiting Berlin. It is not a cheap option - be aware of that, but still very nice, good selection of bagels, croissants, scrambled eggs etc., nice coffees and fine selection of good tea. The service was very nice and helpful. The only thing that could be improved was the cake.

This review is based on staying at a number of Accor brand hotels . This hotel met all the benefits of the Movenpick brand, except for the bathroom design. To shower, you have to climb over the 19 inches high bathtub sidewall - I measured it for this comment. This may be ok for young folks but for older folks it is hard to get in and out, besides the hazard of falling. A minor issue is the 8 inches step into the bathroom and the hard to use sliding door. The plus features are: Right around the corner from the S train and bus stops. A short train or bus ride to Potsdamer Platz: this area is close to two malls and a lot of restaurants. Breakfast area is comfortable with natural lighting. The breakfast variety was a notch above Mercure and Novotel brands. Receptionists are very cordial and helpful. The room is L shaped and has a sofa and chair with a coffee table on one side. It loos and feels spacious. Brandenburger Gate is only two stops on the underground.

Affordable menu prices, would definitely visit here once again. No waiting, a great new spot to try for supper. Great service and atmosphere, would recommend the food and good for kids too. A good selection of food within the menu, always has plenty of meals to choose from and new dishes added by the chefs constantly. Service was fantastic and absolutely adored the food, will be returning.

Wow. I love this place. Is it the best middle eastern food I’ve ever had? No, but it is damn good! This might be my first real döner kebab, but I have to say it was excellent, the staff were fantastic, and the food and quantity was incredibly filling for the price. I got the big döner kebab, the falafel, and their fried with curry mango sauce. Everything from start to finish was an experience. Watching them slice the cooked meat from a spinning pile of goodness oozing with fat and juice was mesmerizing. They had massive, and I mean MASSIVE pita pockets that I believe were made out of a crunchy bread more like a baguette, but the bread was fantastic. They then loaded in meats, veggies, and sauces (and hummus in the falafel that they fry fresh right in front of you). It was amazing. The fattiness from the meat was absorbed by the bread, and while it might seem gross, it was the exact amount of fat needed for the sandwich. They just piled so much meat into it that they couldn’t even wrap the final product up! I was not complaining. Haha. Only issue is I wish they had hot sauce or something to make this a little spicier. Their fries were made fresh to order as well. They fried them up and served them with curry mango sauce. I thought this sauce was some special concoction, but I was amused to find out that was actually a type of sauce that Heinz produces here in Europe! Either way, it was tasty and the fries were crispy and very lightly salted. The staff were all friendly, funny, and spoke fluent English which was helpful! This place was so good, quick, and relatively inexpensive that we can here twice during our time in Berlin! Do visit here if you are staying close by, such as in the Movenpick Hotel.

The food was really excellent! The bratwursts were perfectly grilled and the side dish of sauerkraut went wonderfully with them. Particularly noteworthy was the juicy, reddish fried sausage, which had a particularly hearty taste. The service was friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere in the restaurant was just great - cozy and inviting. Overall, an all-round successful experience that I can definitely recommend!

Very tasty food and really good coffee! Plenty of indoor and outdoor seating at this smaller cafe vibe eatery. The staff was all very friendly and delivered excellent service. We enjoyed a mix of avocado toast, eggs with Sucuk, coffee, fresh bread, and pastries. Definitely recommend for an easy, delicious breakfast at reasonable pricing.

You know when they say it’s the little things that matter, well I got scrambled eggs w Gouda and it came w side of veggies and WARM bread. The orange juice came from a magic garden that made it taste oh so delightful and frothy. Breakfast was excellent and portion generous all for 14 euros!! I saw they had some special beans which must be good as so many people got their Java

Absolutely love this place. The staff are all lovely and very friendly and helpful. Their food is delicious and I would recommend it to anyone. We stayed in a hotel nearby, but we chose to eat breakfast or brunch here each day. The quality of food is excellent and their prices are very reasonable. I would particularly recommend the avocado toast with egg and cheese. It is delicious. The omelettes are fantastic too. We will definitely be making a return visit next time we are in Berlin.

We've been here 3 times for breakfast as we were staying at the Movenpick hotel a few meters further. It's a very good business and always a lot of people. Very friendly people working here! Definitly try the home made muesli/granola! It's superb! The fruit differs from day to day. Be aware you need to pay cash! Something I found very weird because we don't see that anymore in Belgium.

A perfect place to start a day! Breakfast meals are diverse and quite large. Sunny side eggs with veggies and bread are an undying classic, which is done very well here.
