A typical English pub in the center of London under Big Ben, serving delicious fish at a much higher price than anywhere else, but in this place with such a great atmosphere, it's worth it and incredibly enjoyable. The waiters are attentive, the fish is delicious, the tartar sauce is wonderful, and our bellies are full, satisfied, and happy. Recommended!!!

The atmosphere is pure British. They have nice fish and chips, I found that it was perfectly buttered for me. The food came out quite fast, despite there were many people here. The Tavern is located right in front of Big Ben, which is really good. However, most of the visitors are tourists, same as I and I didn't find many British people here. I spent around 20£ on fish&chips and about 8£ on Stella, which is quite cheap in this busy area. Minuses: I didn't find a place to put my coat, same as the table next to me. And I couldn't put it on a stool as well.

Popped in here after a nice walk around London. It was fabulous. Alex had the fish and chips I had the vegetable curry. Absolutely delicious

Its not bad for a quick stop and some people watching! The outside seating is a good addition as the bar is always crowded but the smells from the station bins and the building site aren't great. I have stopped here for 1 or 2 pints over the years but not a favourite of mine

The Red Lion Pub is a must-visit destination for anyone in the area, especially if you’re looking for a traditional and casual experience. The dining room is located upstairs, where we enjoyed lunch twice during our visit—proof that the food is both delicious and worth returning for. The pub also offers a selection of excellent beers, making it a perfect spot to unwind. Given its quality and atmosphere, we’re confident that the Red Lion will become one of our favorite places to stop by whenever we’re in the area. Additionally, its location in the heart of London, near key landmarks related to the English government, makes it an even more appealing choice for both locals and tourists alike.

Honestly, londonian pubs are often tourist traps but this one is a old institution of the english culture and they sold me a real experience with their vision of the Sunday Roast. Next to bigben, the place is inevitable and the mood is amazing here. Great croquettes and the meat pies are delicious! The Fuller Stout is great as well. It gets a little busy but worth the wait.

Really loved everything we had. The fish was so buttery (and huge!) and the steak&ale pie was rich in flavor. Definitely worth it to go here. You may want to reserve a table in advance.

Absolutely stunning building and the first floor will give your guests the wow factor. Staff here go over and beyond to make sure everything goes smoothly and to time. Food is very tasty and toilets are very clean. Would be ideal for a wedding or conference.

Working with Letticia was a dream!!!! She and her team were so professional and courteous. They catered to every demand and request we had. The venue was so beautifully decorated, with all the vendors working well and efficiently to ensure that the wedding was epic!!! Despite the long hours, Leticia ensured that we were well accommodated. The bride and groom and their guests had so much fun. I definitely recommend this venue for your weddings, special events, and occasions.

Very good option to be able to eat or drink something without having to leave the museum and be able to continue with the visit. The menu is quite limited in terms of options, but the food is very good. They don't serve beer. Very attentive and friendly staff, with a person who speaks Spanish and helps you choose.
