5 Star Rating Came across this pub while heading for a boat trip. What a lovely traditional pub with a nice setting in a quiet area. The service and welcome were warm, and the local beer - Made of Ale - was well kept and tasty. The pub had a nice feel to it, and seems to have a community feel. Outdoor seating is available.

5 Star Rating The Warwick Castle 🏰 is late Victorian pub in Little Venice, just north of Paddington. A busy afternoon on a Saturday with a massively jolly atmosphere. Great beer, both keg and cask. Excellent service from all concerned, a big thank you. Jolly, mad and friendly. About right.

5 Star Rating Such a gorgeous pub with friendly staff and delicious food. They have Asahi, Guinness, Amstel, Camden Hells and more on tap - a great range of larger and stouts! My friends and I enjoyed a few drinks here and then decided to stay for dinner - the burgers and steak were both excellent. Definitely recommend.

3 Star Rating Atmosphere great and stunning pub. We went on a Friday evening expecting to grab some food but the kitchen was closed, staff were a little rude about it. The pub is close to Lords Cricket Ground which is ideal for some and less ideal if you want a quiet pub night.

5 Star Rating We met our daughter and her boyfriend for Sunday lunch. On arrival we were met warmly and shown to our table. I didn't ask the staffs names but they were excellent, very friendly and very professional. After sitting down we were asked about our drink order and the drinks were soon brought to our table Our food order was then taken and we all went for the roasts, 3x roast chicken and 1x roast beef. When the food arrived the portions were generous and we were soon tucking in. All I can say is that the food was made up of high quality ingredients and cooked to perfection. It was without a doubt the nicest roast beef I have ever tasted but the real star of the show was the roast potatoes, literally go for the beef stay for the roast potatoes. I don't think they're prepared and cooked in house, I believe angels prepare them then deliver them to the restaurant. They really are that good. I would kill for the recipe. We couldn't resist dessert and had 2x tiramisu (and I was surprised at the sizes, they don't skimp with the portions). One apple and damson crumble and one triple chocolate brownie. All were delicious. Drinks wise we had G&T, Camden pale ale, bourbon and cokes and a rather nice lager I have not tried before but whose name escapes me. After this treat we all were extremely full and extremely happy. A huge thank you to all the staff. We had an amazing time and we will return. On leaving the guy who had welcomed us on arrival, thanked us and we shook hands. I really cannot commend the Warwick castle too highly. It's a gem and we'll worth a visit

4 Star Rating A very pleasant working lunch, sat with a nice view of the canal as the early Autumn-sun shone. The food/seasoning was a little too subtle for my palette but the ingredients were of good quality and it was presented well. I had the calamari starter and sea bass special main course. I can't fault the very friendly, attentive and professional service. I'd happily return to try something with a bit more zing.

4 Star Rating Beautiful restaurants Amazing location the food is not bad, but it’s not the top is very expensive. There is a big problem. Internally there is no ventilation and after a few minutes it is invaded. From the fried smell they should fix the ventilation better For the rest everything is very pleasant, the service is exceptional. And the employees are very nice.

5 Star Rating Nestled along the charming canals, this restaurant provided the perfect setting for a memorable evening. The atmosphere is very intimate and cozy, with soft lighting and beautiful views that created a truly magical ambiance. The food was nothing short of spectacular. We started with a platter of fresh oysters and prawns, which were perfectly seasoned and bursting with flavor. For the main course, I highly recommend the grilled trout and Mackerel. Both dishes were cooked to perfection, showcasing the freshness of the seafood and the skill of the chefs. The service was attentive and warm, adding to the overall experience. Whether you're planning a family get-together, or a celebration with friends, the summerhouse is the ideal spot. With its relaxed vibe and sumptuous menu, it's a gem in Paddington that I can't wait to visit again. Perfect for special occasions or simply enjoying a wonderful meal by the water, this is a must-visit for seafood lovers!

4 Star Rating The Bridge House in either Paddington or little Venice, right by a canal bridge comes at you like a fun, effervescent house of madness, in the nicest way. Busy on a Saturday afternoon with lots of people wanting beer and food, lots of smiley faces. Great place for a pint...AND...I suspect, a great place for a "shared" Sunday lunch experience.

3 Star Rating I cannot say we had a great experience here. We were looking for a typical pub with great food in an interesting area of London to meet someone who was flying in from the US. Based on the reviews and the location we chose the Bridge House. Big mistake. The entire building was wrapped up in a construction foil, not an impressive appearance. The inside decor is not bad, but I’ve seen much better elsewhere. The music playing was extremely loud to the point where we did not hear each other talk. Our requests to lower the volume met with negative answers for an hour. As there were other groups of people trying to communicate by loudly talking, we ended up threatening to leave and indicated a loss of 9 Sunday roast dinners to the management. Magic words, volume lowered to a pleasant background music. The food and drinks were very nice, but not exceptional, and we did not care much for the lounge type seating, would have preferred classic dining room.

5 Star Rating A lovely little pub on the canal in Paddington and looks to be just one of the more upmarket houses that surround it. Popped in on my way elsewhere and was warmly welcomed for my efforts. A smallish bar juts off to the left greets you as you enter with wonderfully comfortable looking padded seating everywhere - there is even some nice ceiling decoration going on to the right as well - very nice and just adds even more class to a place that doesn't really need it. The rest is what you would expect, pleasant staff that are easy to talk to, an small, but excellent looking menu, and a nice range of drinks from ales, lagers and wines. I think you could get lost here for a while and just not realise it. Anyway, the the important bit: the Guinness was excellent.

5 Star Rating The Waterway offered fantastic food, really good service, and even better management. I really recommend their steaks as it really was one of the best I had. The location was very welcoming, clean and elegant. On top of all of the above, what impressed me the most it was how management was able to handle an uncomfortable situation: During our lunch a mishap happened, and one of our personal items was damaged. Nonetheless, with extreme professionalism, the general manager Antonio, put effort in trying to remedy the situation, and proposed a satisfactory solution. I really recommend this place for its food, location and most importantly to the attention they give to its clients. An attention that I have never found anywhere else.

5 Star Rating Clifton Nurseries Cafe is an absolute hidden gem in the heart of the city! Tucked away within the beautiful surroundings of the Clifton Nurseries, this cafe feels like a peaceful escape from the hustle and bustle. It has a charming and cozy atmosphere, perfect for relaxing with friends or even spending some quiet time on your own. The moment you walk in, you’re greeted by incredibly friendly staff who go out of their way to make you feel welcome. The service is always warm and attentive, which really enhances the overall experience. The menu offers a great selection of delicious food, whether you're after a light snack or a more substantial meal. Everything I’ve tried has been fresh and tasty, with lovely flavors that really hit the spot. Their coffee is also fantastic—rich, smooth, and expertly brewed. It’s the perfect pick-me-up, whether you’re starting your day or just taking a break in the afternoon. Another plus is that they offer free Wi-Fi, which makes it a great spot for getting some work done, catching up on emails, or simply enjoying a leisurely morning with a coffee and your laptop. The setting is serene and inspiring, which makes it easy to get lost in the peaceful ambiance. If you’re in London and looking for a tranquil hideaway with great food, excellent coffee, and wonderful service, Clifton Nurseries Cafe is an absolute must-visit. Highly recommend spending some time here—you won’t be disappointed!

5 Star Rating One of my best experiences in London. For me was one of my favourite combinations, the fresh herbs are really fresh, and all the sophistication that Iranian food brings was spectacular. The restaurant is very well located and the staff is very friendly and helpful. The place has a cozy vibe, intimate and I just missed some colours on their decor. 3 Star Rating It is a great place to grab some authentic/Fusion with a Western twist to Iranian dishes. With all the hype, it did not disappoint but didn’t live up to our expectations! Being on Micheline guide, we were expecting more, to be honest! I’ll break down the Pros & Cons here, as Persian; - Great interior, nice decoration inside, On the different floors, there is a portrait of Farrah, the former Queen and last Empress (شهبانو, Shahbanu) of Iran, and notes with the Shah from 70’s - and a few other historical pieces from the Persian Empire, which are always lovely to see. Pros; - Cosy and warm atmosphere inside, combined with great hosts, which are very charming and welcoming. - Pistachio Cream Brûlée is the one to die for. Cons; Tiny portions, very twisted for Western liking rather than authentic Persian charm (such a shame). The chicken was quite undercooked. While it was nice and tasty, it should have been grilled more to represent the Persian Jooje Kabab. The modern twist and touch are nice, but for what you pay at any other Persian restaurant in London, you get to feed five people; only two can eat there. - Wine is a bit pricy; again, their large glass is a medium anywhere else. - Felt like a bit of a ripoff, frankly. The service is good but can be better. It lacks professionalism or is a bit messy, but it's okay. Would we return? I'm not sure. I liked it but wasn't massively impressed. It lacks character and authenticity, and the portions are too small. Thank You, Merci.
