Review for Clermont Hotel We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Clermont Hotel. The hotel itself is stunning, full of character and intricate details that make it feel truly special. The lobby was beautifully decorated, including a gorgeous Christmas tree that perfectly complemented the hotel’s decor. The location was perfect, with Victoria Station just a stone’s throw away, making it incredibly convenient for transport. There were also bus stops nearby, and the hotel’s location was ideal for walking to many of London’s main attractions. The staff were friendly and extremely helpful, always ensuring we had a pleasant experience. Breakfast was excellent, with an impressive variety of options to suit all tastes. The beds were very comfortable, and the rooms were spacious and well-appointed, providing plenty of room to relax. We also had the pleasure of dining at the hotel’s restaurant, SOAK, which was outstanding. The food was delicious, and the service was top-notch. The only downside was the water pressure in the shower and occasional difficulty in getting consistently hot water, which was a minor inconvenience. However, this didn’t take away from our overall enjoyment. We would happily stay here again and highly recommend it to others!

An absolutely delightful experience. I would like to thank the fantastic team at the Afternoon Tea service for the kindness and for finding a table even though I did not have a reservation. They were very professional and the tea experience was impeccable. The Christmas decoration of the team room was particularly nice. As far as the hotel room is concerned, I had a very comfortable stay. The staff at the front desk gave me useful tips for visiting London in Christmas time. Also, I’d like to thank the team at The Soak restaurant: very kind and smiling (Roy) - had a nice late dinner! Would recommend overall.

We really had a great stay at the Clermont Victoria : the lady at the reception answered my request for a quiet room, I’m really grateful for that because it’s not that easy to have. The room was great, spacious, comfortable and clean, and the hotel was perfectly located. I’ll definitely come back!

Superb hotel that surpassed my expectations for a London hotel at this price point. The inclusions of a free daily mini bar was unexpected but certainly welcomed. All aspects from the room, quietness, breakfast and aforementioned room extras was better than expected. It is a great location for the theatre and if arriving at Victoria. Will most certainly go on my list of first hotels to check when returning to London.

Stayed here for 2 nights & loved every minute. Amazing location on Buckingham Palace road, to the rear of the Kings residence. We were treated like royalty from the minute we arrived. Doormen, check-in staff, Concierge, waiters & bar staff were so friendly & always had time chat & couldn't do enough for us. Hotel oozed class & everything was in tip top condition. The carpets, furniture & furnishings were unblemished & the bedding, pillow cases & bathrobes all had the Rubens logo in gold embroidery. We didn't eat here but did have drinks in the bar which was unfortunately very busy & loud. Wonderful experience though. Definitely would have a return visit. In my opinion it beats The Waldorf, The Strand Palace & The Shard based on our experience.

Stayed for one night recently. Hotel staff were fantastic and I couldn't fault them on how friendly, helpful, and welcoming they all were. The hotel in my opinion though is a bit dingy, stuffy, outdated and needs a decent bit of maintenance and some serious money spending on it. The room (King Exec) was a good size, but the bathroom was dark and pokey. We had lights not working, loose tiles, and quite dusty cupboards and surfaces. The bed and pillows were super comfy though. The bar and dining areas were also stuffy and uncomfortable, though the quality of the actual food and drink was good. Overall, not really to my taste and if I was to stay in this part of London again, I'd probably find somewhere else.

Hospitality at its finest. The stay was amazing in every way possible. The staff was top notch. The room was incredibly clean and comfortable. The breakfast was very good. I felt like a long lost relative being welcomed home. The staff were so nice and friendly. They called cabs and helped with our luggage and even found me a power converter so i could use my hair tools. great location within walking distance of many great London sights.

Came here later on a Saturday night without a booking and managed to get a table. The staff are really friendly and knowledgeable about the menu (especially what options are gluten free and recommendations for food based on our preferences). The food was delicious, well cooked and perfect portions. The atmosphere was cosy. Would definitely recommend!

What a pleasant surprise. Good service and really good Thai food. Summer rolls were exceptional and the drunken noodles and papaya salad were both punchy, spicy and hit the spot. £38 was reasonable for the amount and quality of food. 2 people could have shared that…but I was on my own. Would definitely go again.

While waiting for a train at The Victoria train station, I really wanted something warm and have found this lovely Thai restaurant 5 minutes walk from the station. I had a broth with duck leg and it warmed me nicely in this cold weather. We really enjoyed the food.

Stopped in for lunch on Sat. Both Bell and other chap very attentive and helpful. Food was delicious and presented well. Had Classic Sharing platter to start, followed by Tom Yum Goong and Clear Noodle Soup with Chicken. Would highly recommend

We had an amazing stay at the Park Plaza Victoria! The staff were incredibly welcoming, and we were thrilled to receive a complimentary room upgrade, which made our experience even more special. The hotel is elegant, well-maintained, and ideally located. Late check-out was not only affordable but also very convenient. Highly recommend this hotel for a luxurious and hassle-free stay!

Excellent service and location!! Rooms are definitely "dated and worn" but breakfast was outstanding and location was very close to Victoria Tube stop. If you have children there is a "kids play are" that used to be a lounge, this was dated and broken items but our children (3 and 5) loved it!

Hotel was really lovely and in a great location. There was a beautiful fragrance in the foyer which created a really welcoming environment. Rooms were clean. All of the staff we encountered were friendly and helpful apart from the lady who was seating everyone for breakfast. Great selection of food/drink at breakfast.

Nice hotel but the rooms are a bit dated and lacking in maintenance ( we stayed in a superior king room ) The real let down was communication, I emailed the hotel on 3 separate occasions prior to our stay and did not receive a single reply to any of them. The saving grace was the fantastic breakfast, smoked mackerel, Stilton, salad as well as a perfectly cooked full English Breakfast and an abundance of fruit. Would I stay here again ? Yes I probably would, however, there are better hotels within the Park Plaza group.

Nice hotel in a great central location. We arrived early and were able to check in which was greatly appreciated. There was a lot of construction during our visit so the buses weren't operating normal routes. We were offered to forgo house cleaning for 3days in exchange for $30 towards the restaurant. You still get fresh towels, tea and such so we accepted. The rooms were clean and the shower had rainfall and handheld option with solid pressure. The whole room can be controlled by bedside controls which was a great touch. The hotels in London can be quite expensive, this was great value and great accommodations. I would stay again.

A very nice British pop food. We tried the fish and chips and sausage dish was nice. The atmosphere was so nice, cozy and well designed. If you visiting in winter, wear a warm coat before heading to toilets upstairs.

We went there for lunch after our Buckingham palace tour. We ordered fish & chips and sausage and loved the foods and vibe of the cafe. It was a calssic pub, the staff friendly and welcoming. Highly recommend for a nice lunch and have a break if you are around this area.

Amazing place. MARIO the manager is amazing. This place is super “magical” to say the very least. I hope you get the pleasure of meeting this amazing man. Place is lovely, upbeat music and fantastic drinks. If you’re ever in Victoria, London, Make your way over to this place.

Traditional London pub down a back street near Victoria station🍻🍺 Friendly staff and good selection of drinks. Didn’t look at the food selection. The tables outside have QR codes to order to the tables. Toilets are upstairs which seem to have been refurbished as they are nice and clean.🍻 two ciders costed £13

I usually drop into the Buckingham Arms when in this area but because the Phoenix was less than an 12 year old’s shot put distance from my hotel I decided to darken their door. Glad, no thrilled I did. The lads behind the bar were excellent and the Cider was frigid on a bloody humid day. You can see by my included photos what I had for lunch. I can say without hesitation, if you are in the neighborhood that you would be doing yourself a disservice if you walked by without at least ordering a pint. Come here! Drink here! Eat here! I would have rated the atmosphere a 5 as well but I arrived early and I was one of very few day drinking. Fools! Retire early and day drink! I recommend that and the Phoenix! Top shelf.

We went yesterday for a team fish & chip afternoon tea for 10 people. The food and service was fantastic. A big thank you to our waiter. There was so much food and we had plenty to take away. We were there at 2.30 so the place was very quiet and did lack a bit of atmosphere but I’m when it busier it would be buzzy.

Attended yesterday with my mum for the fish and chip afternoon tea. We were very warmly greeted by all staff upon our arrival as they were standing by the bar and taken to our seat. Huge portions of afternoon tea were quickly served within minutes alongside our drinks made to order. Food was amazing and the atmosphere was lovely, nothing too much trouble. Totally worth every penny. Our main waitress was a lovely european lady with red hair, her service was immaculate, she was extremley friendly and attentive but not too much that we couldnt enjoy our time. We were also served by a younger african lady with long hair, she was also faultless and so kind when speaking to us. Both of these ladies are a credit to the team. Apologies for being descriptive about staff members but they didnt have name badges and I wanted to give them a special mention. I overheard a conversation between one of the male staff members, i think the manager? And another table who had a lot of requests+. Both myself and my mother noted how accomodating he was and went above and beyond to give the customers a great experience. We have already recommended to friends and family and look forward to returning! Thankyou for a great time.

I ate here while staying next door at the Rubens (they are connected). I wanted something casual & fairly quick for dinner & can highly recommend this place. The service was excellent, my waiter (I think it was Geoffrey) was very friendly, as were the other staff. I had the burger which was so tasty & with a brioche bun (and better than the photos on here show). There was sports on the TV screens but it wasn't noisy. I'll definitely go back.

Popped in for an early lunch first table we were given was by the toilets, think that table should be removed..Seating was exceptionally cramped, lovely cocktails, free pasta crisps. Ordered a prawn linguini was lovely and salmon and advocado salad. It was nice but the salmon had been deep fried which was a bit weird and salad was drenched with dressing. Having said that it was ok and the overall menu was excellent lots of choice and service friendly and quick

Fabulous location, for Victoria. really busy as it was Valentine’s Day but seated quickly. The server was wonderful, efficient and friendly. I think his name Fernando ( apologies if incorrect) . The food was excellent, freshly prepared and hot. Delish Malbec wine accompanied my sizzling prawn starter and spicy 🌶️ pizza. 10/10 for sure. I wasn’t there for a romantic dinner, just coincidence it was 14th! So a shame I couldn’t use my blue light card. Look forward to returning on my next trip to London.

Would give more stars if I could! Opposite the theatre, staff were amazing friendly and happy. If I could close my ears I could have sworn I was in Italy. Proper Italian food 😋 portions were just right and for London prices it's a steal!

We recently visited this restaurant, it was just amazing. It so happened that we booked this place by mistake, but still came, and we didn't regret it at all! A large pub, located near Victoria train station. The interior is quite nicely decorated, in the style characteristic of English pubs. Quite crowded. I didn't stay long, just had a beer. An OK experience, a good place where you can wait for the time to pass while waiting for the train.

A cold day in London so decided to have a drink somewhere in the warm. It was warmer than outside but not by that much. Didn’t have any food as it looked a bit non-handmade and a bit on the side of fast food.

Fresh off Gatwick Express, this was my inaugural London Pub experience 😀 A sympathetic bar goddess explained the ropes…1) Buy a drink at bar…2) find a free table and note the number…3) review menu…4) leave drink and coat at table and go back to bar and order food with the table number…5) Sit back down and make friends…6) Food arrives…7) Repeat as necessary. This lesson worked at most pubs there after…but The Shakespeare was my first kiss ❤️ Food and drinks were excellent.

It's a quick and easy Japanese food option. The broth is hot and easy to eat, and the flavor isn't too strong. However, the deep-fried duck or chicken (I'm not sure which) was a bit too oily for me😅

Came here on a Friday night and got a table. The staff were so friendly here and very kind! We go to Wagamama a lot and really like it for the fact they are all excellent when it comes to allergies. The manager always comes to take the allergen orders to make sure everything is okay. Can’t beat this service! Food is delicious- this is a good one to come too!

Stopped in here for lunch and honestly the brisket hot pot was a life experience. WOW. It paired perfectly with the Green Samurai cocktail. This place is killer. The menu had many items I wanted but I was forced to decide. While my choice was 10/10, I want to come back to try some of the other items. Staff was friendly. Kid friendly with chicken Katsu my two kids love. RECOMMENDED.
