I enjoyed my stay at this hotel. All staff is very accommodating and friendly. The rooms are comfortable (including the bed and bedsheets) and spacious (by London standards) (I stayed in their Executive room). The breakfast is also very good with plenty to choose from (for vegetarians and meat eaters alike). The location is super convenient, just steps away from the London Tower and Tower Bridge and a walking distance from the Boroughs market and the Shard. Although it's so close to the Tower Bridge it's tucked away in this side street so there's no noise during the day or night. The location seems very safe. I'd definitely stay here again.

A warm welcome was given by the team on arrival, who could not have been more accommodating. Early Check in was a bonus! The interconnecting rooms worked very well for us as a family of 4 and a great location for a weekend of exploring London.
A good buffet breakfast set us up well for a day exploring the London Tower.

I had the pleasure of interacting with Fatima and Jenna, the receptionist, during my recent stay, and their service was truly exceptional. Fatima and Jenna was polite, professional, and incredibly patient, even while managing multiple guests simultaneously. They were warm demeanor and attention to detail made the check-in process seamless and stress-free. They were went above and beyond to ensure all my questions were answered and even provided helpful suggestions to enhance my stay. It’s rare to encounter such a high level of professionalism paired with genuine kindness. Both of them are true asset to the hotel, and I highly recommend them outstanding service!

Check in was easy and very friendly, the room (737) was spacious well equipped and spotless. no noise at all from neighbouring rooms. location is excellent next to Tower Hill underground and a short walk to the Tower and Tower pier for trips on the river. Nice welcome gift of chocolate. The only slight problem was the air con system needs instructions to be provided. Everything else what what you expect from a hotel of this standard.
Franklin Oscroft - 2 months ago
The experience was good overall, although we had a problem with the room that was resolved quickly by the staff. breakfast was varied and good quality, even dinner was good. the location is excellent: metro just around the corner, bus and tourist buses less than 100 meters away. the staff is the real jewel in the crown, that makes the difference. do not give 10 points as score only because as a 4 star hotel I expect attention to some
Details ; little things that should be changed to make it really top.

So the good first - really enjoyed my dinner (pulled pork and burnt ends combo) and a lovely root beer. Everyone else enjoyed their food too.
However, the service was awful, our server messed up the order (so much so that the manager gave us a massive discount). Our server was so quiet, had to asker her to repeat herself several times. Which is probably what led to the order being messed up.
Have been here several times, and maybe it was her first day, but for such a busy restaurant, we.exoecred much better service.

Food was okay if a little expensive for what it is. Those of us who had burgers where disappointed at poor quality burger meat. Service was unfortunately really quite poor. The even got the bill wrong and we had to ask for corrections.

Coco was our waitress and she was very friendly and helpful! As always the food is juicy and delicious, I’ve even come in just for a milkshake and key lime pie which is my favourite! Authentic country which definitely adds to the Southern atmosphere.

Nice restaurant specialized on beef food. The very patient waiter Raul helped us with our choices and explained a bit the history and the difderences between several beer brands. The food was good and the crispy fries were so good..

Our visit was surprisingly good.
The meat was tender and well flavoured.
The beer was ok.
The service was good and attentive.
We were disturbed by all the screens, which were simply distracting.
It was also very noisy in the dining room in the basement.

Had a great time at Windsor. I had the pepperoni pizza, which was delicious, and my friends enjoyed their beef burgers—both were cooked perfectly. We also had some beers, and the selection was solid.
A big shoutout to Brigitte and Dale for their excellent customer service! They were friendly, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed. The atmosphere was great, and we’ll definitely be coming back. Highly recommend!

This brew dog pub was just round the corner from the Tower Hill one, albeit much smaller. Hardly anyone in there when we visited early Saturday afternoon, so within minutes of getting inside we had a drink and was sat down. Good selection of drinks as you would expect - was thankful to the lady working the bar who gave us a taste of one of the drinks before ordering a full pint, it swayed me to order something else!!

Had a quick visit to Seething Lane Tap on a surprisingly quiet Friday evening. Didn't get a chance to sample the food, but the Siren Craft Beer I had was an absolute delight. It hit the spot perfectly. The atmosphere was relaxed despite the lack of crowds, and the food being served looked very tempting. Definitely planning a return trip to try out their menu!

randomly stopped here with a friend for a drink and was pleasantly surprised to find great tap beer and one of the best burgers i ve ever tried (korean burger) !! super friendly staff, especially marcus who is also a great bartender, he made us a nice amaretto sour and helped us choose a beer from their selection
all in all, we spent a great Friday night there, definitely recommend it

We went here for dinner as this pub was basically next door to our hotel. When entering the room, you immediately felt like being in a “beer hall” (in a positive way!). Sat down at a table and figured out there is an option to order and pay online directly via smartphone. Waiter came before I ordered online, so we chose the traditional way of ordering.
Food (two burgers) were absolutely fine, sides rather small but still enough. For drinks we had a beer an Aperol spritz, which lacked a little bit of aperol given the relatively high price for the drink.
Other than that everything was fine. caring staff

A superb location overlooking the Tower of London and Tower Bridge!! We had a window seat. Quick and friendly service. We highly recommend the duck rice bowl and prawn firecracker dishes. The food preparation and flavours are a delight to the palate - compliments to Friday's chef :)

I had a great experience at this branch. The service was really friendly and quick. I ordered several dishes including the chili squid, ebi katsu, steak teriyaki soba, and the chicken & prawn pad Thai, and they were all delicious.
They serve a number of drinks here. I especially enjoyed the mindful iced matcha and the strawberry latte, and appreciated that they served green tea for free.

This was my first time trying the chain Wagamama, and I can tell that it won’t certainly be the last time :).
After walking through a rainy and windy London all you need is a flavorful hot meal and the noodles did it for me!
Extra note: *Alert warning for my señora side kicking in!* Their takeaway boxes are really good quality, I will get to give it some use before throwing it out pahah
Thank you, Wagamama! 🍴

Had a great experience dining here. We were greeted by a young lady shame I did not get her name, and we requested to sit by the window as it was not busy when we came. She immediately reset the table as it was used previously. The waiter named Rayhan patiently took our order because there is a lot of good selection on the menu. I was actually surprise that it is not only Japanese food but also Thai as I tried their Pad Thai with chicken and prawn. It's delicious and just the right amount. The waiter approached us again and asked if everything was fine and if we were enjoying our food. We said yes, and he smiled and left us to enjoy our meal. There is no rush on clearing the plate when we finished, and he came back to ask if we are. We been asked if we would like to have some dessert, but because I am already full, I politely said no, but I was really tempted to order a nice cheesecake. I highly recommend it as it is an easy place to go by when we are visiting Tower Bridge.

Been there to celebrate my fiancé birthday, and it was a remarkable great experience.
I was not drinking alcohol, she alcohol free selection was a bit poor.
Regarding food, you got a whole menu but we took on the snacks menu.
Chicken was absolutely delicious and good for price, but the cheese place is overpriced for the selection.
I highly recommend to go !
The atmosphere is fantastic

A review of two halves! The show was incredible, outstanding performers, great acts and the host was brill. The venue is smaller than i thought but well decorated and on 'theme'.
We paid for a 5 course VIP ticket - these were £139 each. We had fantastic seats, the other guests around us were great which made the atmosphere even better. We loved the audience participation and having the option to turn your light to another colour if you don't want to join in was a great idea.
The food was nice - not amazing but OK. Service seemed good to start then we were a bit forgotten about. The billing thing with the service charge is confusing, adding a service charge to the bill for the drinks we had that night I have no problem with at all, but adding 15% on to the ticket price and the drinks seems a strange way of doing things. The ticket price should be inclusive. Subsequently our service charge alone was close to £80.
All of that aside I would come here again - because the acts were sooooooo good.

We came here quick after touring the Tower of London and truly wish we had more time. Great beer selections, but the Hot Mulled wine was amazing on a rainy day. We ordered the chili sausage, fondue and rarebit- which were all delicious (the rarebit was very truffley)

Their steak pie was the BEST thing I've eaten on my trip to London. The restaurant is quite large and every single table had a great ambience. On less busy days, you can pick a table to sit at and order at the bar.
I still dream about this pie. Crutched Friar will be the first place I visit when I return to London

Well, I just had the dumplings, and they were delicious. I'm ready for my Drunken Duck now. No pictures of that one, went too quickly. Well, the mains delivered on taste and flavour. Certainly packed a punch, very nice indeed.
The staff are very courteous and friendly, especially Noot. And it says a lot when it's a Monday evening and the place is busy with lots of groups laughing and enjoying themselves whilst eating great food.
I would definitely recommend the Thai Square Minories 👍

Just opposite Canopy city of London, this is a beautiful restaurant. After 4 days of travelling I was craving a classic Thai meal. They delivered beyond my expectations. Even had reisling wine to perfectly compliment the gentle spice. I squeezed in a choccie pudding with vanilla ice cream.
Thank you Gun & also for helping me open the heavy door !

I got the spicy prawn soup and the prawns love scallops with egg fried rice. The soup was really tasty. I loved it! The main was pretty good. Only thing it came with only one scallop😑😭 but the server brought me two more which was nice and appreciated. 😊 Overall the food is pretty good and I would come back again. Service was fast and friendly.

Took the team for lunch at Thai Square and it was great! There was such a great menu selection that everyone managed to find a few options that worked for their taste and dietary preferences.
I went for the tofu satay, ginger tofu and vegan ice cream with candy floss, all were delicious, hot and very fresh.
We had booked for an early lunch as we typically start early so the restaurant was super quiet when we arrived and were the only diners until about an hour later. The restaurant got much busier after 1pm but still quiet - such is life in the city on a Friday now as most people work from home.
I'd definitely recommend for a team lunch, family meal or even a celebration meal as the restaurant is stunning, the staff are attentive without being intrusive and the food is fab and not overpriced.

Zizzi Italian Restaurant is a must-visit! The food here is incredibly fresh and absolutely delicious. We started with the calamari, garlic bread, and king prawns—all were cooked to perfection. A special tip: try the red sauce with the calamari and prawns. It’s so much more flavorful than the white or tartar sauce and takes the dishes to another level.
For our mains, we had the Margherita pizza and the sea bass, and both were outstanding. Pro tip: save a little calamari and put it on top of the pizza—it’s a game-changer! Sprinkle some of the olive oil provided on the table, and you’re in for an unforgettable flavor combination.
To wrap up the meal, we went for the choco-banana brownie sundae, and it was easily the most appealing dessert on the menu. Make sure to leave room for it—it’s worth every bite!
The staff were fantastic—friendly, attentive, and went above and beyond to make sure our experience was perfect. Zizzi is a place I’d recommend to anyone looking for great Italian food with exceptional service. We’ll definitely be back!

Awesome location. Visited after spending some time at the Tower of London, which is literally a two minute walk away from this restaurant, which is also walking distance from Tower Hill tube station. Really clean and spacious location, which a great layout and view to the street. Very friendly staff, who came by regularly to check in on us and ask if they could help. Had the Casareccia Pollo Piccante for my main after having the Mozzarella & Garlic Bombe as the starter. Both were great. Especially the Casareccia Pollo Piccante as it was the right temperature, had enough spice to it, tasty and nice presentation. The dessert menu is also very diverse in terms of multiple choices. We had the Tiramisu and Salted Caramel Chocolate Brownie. Really had a wonderful time here at this location. And first experience at a Zizzi's overall, while I visit from overseas. Please check out this location if you are in the area. Thanks
