This pub has plenty of tables, and it’s very spacious overall. We like the variety of offerings here as well as the convenience of ordering via the app. The server was extremely friendly and helpful in informing us our options for placing an order. The restaurant is conveniently close to our hotel and next to the tube station. We like how it wasn’t too loud or rowdy despite the number of patrons. We were served very quickly and the food (fried scampi and chips, burger and chips) was fresh and hot, and didn't taste greasy at all. The portions were very generous. Good dining experience overall.

I had a delicious steak and kidney pie with chips. The service was quick and the pub wasn't too packed. I came with a group of friends and we all commented on the great atmosphere. It was easy to order my meal via the app too. I will definitely come back.

Food and drinks were good. Music was very loud, couldn’t hear anyone for a casual dinner was still a bit loud for drinks. The service was not the greatest and they are often out of many supplies. The triple chocolate brownie was not worth £5 and didn’t look the way the picture showed. Okay place but not amazing

🚇 Great Portland Street
🍺 £6.15 Amstel
A Euston Road Stalwart.
The Greene Man is located on busy Euston Road in the north west corner of Fitzrovia. The nearest Tube is Great Portland Street which is just across the road.
The Greene Man was originally built in the 18th century and was known as the Farthing Pie House. This was a common name for a place where a mutton pie could be bought for a farthing.
This Greene King pub has been recently refurbished with what appears to be their new uniformed look. This is a spacious one bar pub that has a function room in the basement. The servery is located on the left hand side and stretches the width of the bar. Around the walls are green painted panels with a mixture of artwork and paintings. There is plenty seating throughout the split level bar with poser tables located near the servery and traditional tables and chairs around the perimeter. Even though the fixtures and fittings are traditional this pub has a modern and contemporary feel.
The beer selection was solid and included four cask ales plus a couple of craft beers. I decided on an Amstel, my pint was great, price point was a touch above average. They didn’t have mutton pie on the menu but they do have Fish & Chips which costs £16.45.
I arrived just after 11am on an overcast Saturday morning in late January. I was first in the door and was greeted by a member of staff who was friendly and welcoming. The atmosphere as you can imagine was relaxed, the soundtrack was a chilled R&B mix. Soon after I arrived, the pub started filling up with a dozen or so punters from all walks of life. I have visited this pub a few times over the years and noticed it gets very busy late afternoon to early evening.
This pub shows live Premier League, Champions League and all live major sporting events.
The @greenemaneuston was a pleasant visit, well worth nipping in for a pint if you’re in the area.

The food was just as good as any "nice" sit down I've been, and the service was even better. I'd ear here again and again. The halloumi was amazing, their take on fried chicken was surprisingly delicious, the sourdough is flavorful, the battery fish hit the spot. Sticky Toffee pudding... enough said.
There were quite a few people having drinks, too.

A super modern bar in Regent Place. The Union does what it says on the tin, sells beer, wine and other things! Venue has been cleared a bit ready for a party tonight. Super service at the bar and a good range of keg beers. Nothing here for the real ale aficionados but plenty of other things to drink. This is a gorgeous place and well worth the price of a beer 🍻!

I’ve been staying at a nearby hotel for three days due to working in London for training purposes. I found the Union Regents Place online and decided to eat here on my first evening because it had appetising vegetarian options on its menu. I’ve subsequently returned for my last two evenings because the food is delicious (tasty, well-made and wholesome ingredients - which you don’t often find with vegetarian choices elsewhere), the staff are so welcoming and friendly and the venue overall has a great atmosphere. Anybody visiting the area should definitely try this place. Thanks, to the lovely staff (and the chef!).

We hosted a private party for about 120 people at the union and I am amazed by how great the manager and his team were! The manager Elia went above and beyond to ensure we had the beat party. Dinner service was smooth and easy and the bar service quick despite the number of guests. I will recommend having your party here! Everyone loved the party.

Really good place to host an event. The staff were really helpful and went above and beyond to make our event successful. The area has some problems with bag thefts so it is worth keeping an eye on belongings.

Loved this place! Lots of my favorite things happening all at once. A super cozy British pub, the does tapas while blasting American pop music from 60s, 70s and 80s… Chaka Kahn, Hall & Oates, Aretha Franklin, on and on.
The food was really good and rivals many of the Spanish tapas places I’ve been to. The patatas bravas were cooked to perfection…crispy outside super hot and meaty inside. The blue cheese fig wrapped in ham…SO GOOD. They used super fresh figs. I like salads but get bored with lettuce. The Rocket/arugula salad with balsamic and Parmesan was very simple and very good. You can tell the rocket was super fresh and had a nice zesty flavor on its own. The prawns were good as well. Most tapas places have garlic shrimp. These were OK. I have had better, though. Staff was very welcoming and polite.

The Queen's Head and Artichoke is a delightful pub nestled away on the corner of Longford and Albany streets. The pub looks like a late Victorian pub, it offers a tapas menu, enticing for a longer visit. Dog friendly and a very happy go lucky atmosphere. The service is excellent and the beer is great too. Indeed, a fine offering of keg beers along with a couple of cask ales. A fine place indeed.

🚇 Great Portland Street
🍺 £6.70 Estrella
❤️ Victorian charm meets tantalising tapas.
.
The Queens Head & Artichoke is located at the end of a Victorian terrace near the south east corner of Regents Park. The nearest Tube is Great Portland Street which is a few minutes walk away.
.
When Regent's Park was created, several Inns were demolished including the Queens Head. It re-located to this spot in 1811 and the name was extended to the Queen's Head & Artichoke by 1825. The pub was re-built in its present form in 1900.
.
The decor here is full of old world charm with some stunning features, most notably the beautiful servery. The walls are clad in Georgian panelling and there is a striking fireplace with yellow glazed tiles. There is plenty of seating which is great but disappointingly it is not in keeping with the rest of the boozer. Another impressive feature is the tall rolled glass windows which bathe the pub with light.
.
The beer selection was decent and included two cask ales, my Son & I both had pints of Estrella, our pints were great if a little pricey. The food comes in the form of Tapas, there is a broad selection of dishes to choose from which all cost around £11. As we were both a bit peckish we ordered five dishes consisting of prawns, octopus, croquettes , chorizo and lamb skewers. The food was delicious and we really enjoyed it, we were both muttering “mmm” and nodding at each other for about ten minutes.
.
We arrived around 9.30pm on a Saturday evening and received a warm welcome by who seemed to be the Guv’nor. The atmosphere was chilled and relaxed with the majority of punters outside enjoying a warm summer evening. I must mention the service both ordering drinks and the lady who served our food, everyone was so attentive and personable.
.
The @theartichoke was a superb visit for many reasons. I loved the decor and the Victorian ambiance. The beer was decent and loved the food. The service was great which immediately made you feel comfortable. This is a must visit London Pub. 🍻

The staff is a bit busy but still friendly. However the food is a bit disappointing. I really like italian food but this one is just a bit off… the mashed potato is worse than the one in HK KFC…
The pasta is average and the tiramisu is good.
Oh and the cocktail is actually better than the food LOL

Absolutely wonderful food! Not only that, the workers there were extremely kind and went out of their way to ensure that our food tasted good. The risotto was the best we’ve ever had and it’s highly recommended.
Though the garlic bread is a bit burnt, it still tasted phenomenal- I highly recommend.

I had a delicious three course lunch at Demartino today. Food, drinks, service and atmosphere were all excellent. The wide choice of dishes on the menu, all of which were tempting, mean that I hope to be back soon to try more. This was a wonderful place to enjoy an afternoon.

What an absolute treat! I’ve been meaning to go to Honey & Co for a while and ended up going with a friend to Honey & Smoke. Everything about the restaurant feels carefully thought through and to a very high standard. The tasting menu is priced around £60-70 (depending on how many courses) but it was well worth it and the serving sizes were generous. All of the flavours were on point! The cheesecake at the end was not to be missed.

I recently visited Honey and Smoke. While the ambience was pleasant and inviting, I found the food to be just okay. The dishes were well-presented, but the prices seemed a bit high for the overall quality. A decent experience, but I expected more for the cost.

the food was nothing special, the price is too high for the quality ratio, in my opinion the price was quite high compared to other restaurants, anyway the restaurant was nothing special, we are disappointed, we do not recommend this restaurant, unfortunately.

Very nicely decorated Turkish restaurant on Great Portland street. Service was a bit slow. Staff seemed to have an attitude of being a bit snobbish although were pleasant enough. Upstairs has seating and downstairs is a stage and dance floor area. Christmas party was going on when we visited. Food was tasty and portions a decent size. I tried the lamb braised with apricots, dates and cinnamon. My vegetarian friend had the grilled vegetables which was a bit small. Overall an ok place. A little more expensive but I guess you pay for the atmosphere.
Service charge included but was about 12%.

Fast food place at a good price. We ordered several chicken pitas with potatoes and rice and they were quite good, although they abuse the spice a little in this place and it absorbs all the flavor of the food. The refill drink was not good. Price between 10-20 pounds per person. They do not charge a tip but they do require you to place the order with your mobile if you want to pay with a credit card. If you pay in cash they allow you to pay on the premises.
You don't need to reserve, I recommend it.

We stumbled in here on our first night in London, not knowing what to expect. But our waiter Dilli Raj explained how it works and it was a great experience. Delicious food, we had a platter for 2 with tender boneless chicken and four sides, including Mac and cheese, mashed potatoes, fries and more.
We even got offered startes for free, because the food was about to take 20 minutes. That's really good service. Our waiter also explained all the different sauces and was very helpful in general. Definitely recommend eating here.
Prices are also pretty affordable especially for the good quality of the food.

A quaint neighborhood restaurant with amazing selection of organic wines and the best food I've had on my vacation to London. The "dumplings" were the best! Completely charming. Amazing wine and great food. Particularly fun if you go on a wine tasting night where they do a menu that matches the wine of a region. Service is friendly and excellent. They have a wide selection of wines at different price points.

Upon stepping into Remedy Wine Bar, we were impressed by its cozy and inviting atmosphere. The dim lighting and rustic decor created the perfect ambiance for a relaxing evening.
The highlight of the evening was undoubtedly the selection of white wines. The sommelier was knowledgeable and recommended a delightful white that perfectly complemented our meal. We savored the crisp and refreshing flavors, which enhanced the entire dining experience.
The staff were gracious, and accommodating throughout our visit, offering insightful wine suggestions and patiently answering our questions about the menu. Their warmth and professionalism added a personal touch that left a lasting impression.
Now, turning to the food, while the presentation was visually appealing, the flavors fell somewhat short of our expectations. The tagliatelle, although cooked al dente, lacked the burst of flavors we hoped for. The deep fried zucchini flowers were decent but didn't quite leave a lasting impression.
One dish that stood out was the tomato and ricotta salad, with its vibrant colors and fresh ingredients. However, even that could have benefited from a touch more seasoning to elevate the taste. Our bread was also cold.
On the downside, the prices were relatively steep, given the overall culinary experience. We expected a bit more value for the money spent, especially considering the average quality of the dishes.
Despite the culinary aspects falling a bit short, the inviting ambiance and the staff's warm demeanor made the visit enjoyable. If you're seeking a relaxed wine-drinking environment with friendly service, Remedy Wine Bar might be the right choice. However, we would suggest managing your expectations for the food and be prepared for a somewhat pricey experience.

Hands down one of the most exciting wine bars in central London. The crew here are just fabulous and the wine list is just incredible. This is one my regulars in London and it's just such a great vibe.
From their by the glass which is always a great selection to their cellar wines... You'll find something that will really hit the spot. I'd list everything I've tried there but there's too many to name. Ask them for advice on what you're looking for and they'll find something perfect.
The food is then the icing on the top. Their dishes are really on point and I love how the menu changes quite a bit and it feels very much homemade.
Don't miss this gem, it's just so so good.
The photos are an astounding Zibibbo from Sicily and a cracking red from Tenerife.
