My partner and I often come to Goodman now and then, as we really enjoy the food here. We recently returned to celebrate his 25th birthday and ordered a few dishes. One of them, a chicken ordered by his aunt, wasn’t to her liking and had to be sent back, but I was genuinely impressed with how professionally and kindly the staff handled the situation. She ended up getting a burger instead.
The starters…Wow. We always get the prawn tempura as our starter because it is just that good. I honestly think Goodman’s tempuras are the best we’ve tried so far. We also got the Puglian burrata. It had such a great creamy/milky taste to it, and mixed with the peppers, it was amazing.
Our waitress was absolutely lovely as well. She was attentive and made sure all our needs were met.
As regulars, I can confidently say the steak here is fantastic, it’s always cooked exactly the way I like it. The sides are tasty too, but the steak is definitely the star of the show.

Beyond exceptional service, every dish that came out was beautiful and just an overall amazing experience. I will definitely return in the future. Thank you.

I visited Goodman Restaurant on Maddox Street yesterday for dinner with my wife and some friends. While enjoying our meal, an unfortunate incident occurred—a lady at the table beside us accidentally knocked over a glass of red wine from our table with her handbag, spilling it all over my wife. She offered a brief apology, but that was it, despite the obvious mess on my wife's clothes.
What truly stood out was how the restaurant staff handled the situation. The team immediately stepped in to assist, helping my wife clean her sweater. The manager also came over, genuinely apologizing even though it wasn’t the restaurant’s fault. They thoughtfully offered my wife another glass of wine to replace the one that was spilled (we refused...).
Later, the manager returned, again apologizing, and provided their contact information to arrange reimbursement for the cleaning costs of her clothing (we politely declined again...). On top of that, when they bring the bill, they kindly offered a discount on the £100 bottle of wine we had ordered. I was genuinely impressed—not just with the gesture of a discount, but with the level of professionalism and care shown by the staff throughout the evening.
I’ve dined at Goodman several times because it’s one of London’s top destinations for a perfectly cooked steak, and this visit reaffirmed why it remains a favorite. The food, as always, was 5-star, but this time, the service truly stole the show. The staff and management went above and beyond to ensure we felt taken care of, turning what could have been a frustrating moment into an example of exceptional customer service.
Highly recommend Goodman not just for their incredible steaks but for their outstanding service. Thank you for making a lasting impression once again!

Excellent streak, however expected a more intimate atmosphere. The tables are close to each other (there is lots of seatings), and the place is very busy. The waitresses wasn’t too keen to recommend us any particular cut.

Always nice to go shopping there, especially for perfume and home decorations. Prices range from reasonable to super expensive but on most days you can find something within budget that’s absolutely stunning. Building itself is beautiful too, an incredible piece of London history. Upper floors are usually not that busy and can be a welcome relief from the bustling noisy streets of Soho :)

Liberty is a my favorite fantastic place to shop, dine, and unwind. It has a great mix of high-end brands options, great cosmetics companies and niche perfumes. The overall atmosphere is beautiful, charming and classy… highly recommended … definitely will come again and again..

I love this department store. So many lovely displays! And Christmastime is all the lovelier sparking tinsel and shiny ornaments a delight although my advice is to take the lift all the way to top floor then make your way down to each floor via the stairs at the back of the store.

Liberty Street in London is an absolute gem! The historic charm, vibrant atmosphere, and incredible shopping make it a must-visit. From unique boutiques to delightful cafes, every corner offers a special experience. The attention to detail in the architecture and the warm, welcoming vibe make it stand out. Perfect for a leisurely stroll or finding one-of-a-kind treasures. Truly a 10/10 destination!

Liberty London is more than just a department store—it’s a London institution. Housed in its iconic Tudor-style building just off Regent Street, it exudes old-world charm while offering an eclectic mix of fashion, beauty, homeware, and, of course, its legendary fabrics.
For craft and sewing enthusiasts, the haberdashery is a true highlight. Tucked away on the third floor, it’s a haven for anyone who appreciates fine textiles and quality materials. Whether you're a seasoned dressmaker or just looking for a unique fabric for a small project, the quality and variety here are exceptional.
Beyond fabrics, the haberdashery is stocked with an excellent range of sewing essentials, including premium threads, buttons, ribbons, and embroidery kits. There’s a definite emphasis on luxury, so while prices are on the higher end, the quality justifies the cost. It’s also a great place for finding unique, design-led craft gifts.
The staff are knowledgeable and happy to help, offering advice on fabric choices and sewing techniques. The whole space has an inspiring, almost nostalgic feel—like stepping into a world where craftsmanship and creativity still take centre stage.
Even if you’re not a crafter, Liberty London is worth a visit for its sheer beauty and atmosphere. But for fabric lovers, the haberdashery is pure heaven.

The service is good. The atmosphere would be good for a large group to gather. Unfortunately the circumstances of our visit was not ideal, but I can’t blame the restaurant. The pork bao was delicious and the dumplings were very good. The rest of my party was expecting a different kind of Chinese style food. If you want to order different types of dim sum and share with others, definitely visit here. Things such as the orange chicken, is not enough to share. The tea was amazing!

Came here with my girlfriends to continue celebrations for my 50th birthday. Lovely big venue with friendly staff. The food was simple but tasty. We mainly had the bubbles to drink but did try the cocktails. One called Zombie was pretty strong. The other was quite light and refreshing. We had such a great time, and I would definitely recommend this place for groups of friends if you fancy a good laugh and seeing how
much you can drink in a set time!!

Ping Pong is a great place to come for gluten free dim sum and more! The menu is very straight forward as to what is gluten free, with a good amount of options. I highly recommend trying a little bit of everything since the portions are sized to where you can do this. The food comes out piping hot and fresh, and is extremely tasty. The place itself can be a little noisy, but worth it for the food!

A weekend in London and our friend couldn't get us here quicker..... thankfully we managed to get a table. Service was on point, never a minute there wasn't staff walkong about, clearing plates and offering more food or drinks. Food was awesome, some of the best we've ever had. Sad there was no draught but a large beer followed by a few cocktails soon dulled that negative!!
Buzzing atmosphere woth a mix of clients which always allows for some good vibes.

My friend and I dined with you on Wednesday the 5th of January and I need to give my deepest compliments to all the staff who took care of us during our visit. I didn’t catch the name of our waitress, but her knowledge of the menu was top tier and all of the recommendations she gave were incredibly delicious (I’m so glad we asked her!). All of the other staff who checked on us throughout the evening were also spectacular and impressively charismatic. It was a bit of a special occasion for us and I consider it to be one of my top dining out experiences of all time. You have a wonderful venue and excellent food, but your staff are absolutely second to none and truly deserve recognition for their hospitality

🤵🏻♀️ Service: it was outstanding, from the guy at the bottom floor who let me in the building, to the host that brought me to the table, to the lady taking care of my order and delivering my dishes. Nothing to complain, all was fantastic on that regard.
🥘 Food: I did enjoy my food, generally speaking, but I did have some not so pleasant surprises. My patatas bravas, although good, were a bit strange in presentation and seem to be very little in terms of size/amount. The croquetas weren't as delicious as I would expect but not bad. The razor clams were absolutely delicious, a must try. What was for me not good at all was the Rillette Pig, you can see in my pictures the inside of them, they weren't made of only meat but also some weird chopped parts of the pig that I honestly did not enjoy. The amount of cheese was very disappointing, too little that serving.
🍷 Wine: I tried two different options, one was Grenache from Spain, not delicious but good. Then I tried a Malbec from Argentina, that one was really good, I'd recommend it.

Had my birthday brunch here and everything was fine but I wouldn’t go back. Aqua Kyoto next door had a dj, better views and generally a much nicer restaurant with great ambiance. Our table was dark with one window and it’s not what I expected. If you want a boring low key brunch then choose this place.

Came before dinner time so it was nice and quiet. The service was good, and most dishes were fine. Churros were nice and the octopus was cooked well. We also got the seafood paella and the waiter said it was salty (which we thought would be fine) but that was an understatement; it compared to eating the ocean with each bite! Could not finish it.

It’s a pub with the best pie!
If you love pie and mash this place is for you.
If I’m in London I go here for pie and mash it’s a simple dish but tastes good and is cooked well.
Steak pie is what I usually go for but I’ve also tried the chicken and both just as good as each other. I would recommend this food.
Pie is £25 which seems expensive for what it is but you are in Mayfair.
Always very busy so you may struggle to get a table.
Would I go back? Yes!

A nice pub in a good location, close to Regent Street and a shoŕt walk ftom Carnaby Street. They had three casks on but I opted for a double Woodford Reserve bourbon at a rather expensive £11.90. The main bar is fairly spacious and the restaurant bar is downstairs, accessed by going down four steps. They also have a restaurant upstairs. I was here at 4.30 on a Monday and it was fairly busy, due in part to a group of a dozen or so tourist. They do offer food with pies being a speciality. One downside for the less mobile is that the toilets are upstairs. I did enjoy my drink here, the bonus being around 20 different whiskies.

Great midweek treat, tucked away in Mayfair.

Nice pub in the heart of the city,
Famous for their pie 🥧
I took the steak and Stilton pie it’s was nice but maybe just for my taste not so good maybe the mushroom can be better? but all my friends were happy with their pie they said was really good
The dessert nothing special we could have avoided them
The service tho is nice and friendly
It was really busy on a Friday night if you want to eat you need to book and I find it a bit expensive 25£ for a pie but I understand they are famous for that and they are in the city centre
Anyway you can try and give it a go !
I don’t think you gonna be disappointed
Thanks!

Lovely place, great service and lovely atmosphere. We had the iftar set menu and my friends and I were impressed with the four mini starters we were each given: lentilsoup, hot flat bread, hummus, salad and cheese parcels. The flatbread was amazing and we filled up before the mains. I got the mamma Zohra chicken salad which was fresh and delicious. The dessert was a bit like a zesty creme caramel and gave me a nostalgia trip. The spaces are a bit tight, so if you're a big person you might find it a squeeze but we're tiny so all was good.

Was recommend Yalla Yalla by a colleague at work who had visited twice before and said the food was very good. I have tried Lebanese cuisine already but was open to trying a new place. We decided on a joint birthday dinner to celebrate.
We came on Fri 14-03-25 and were promptly seen to our seats, the restaurant wasn't packed as there was space but still a few others.
There is so much to choose from in both the Starters and Main Menu, it was hard to decide. My friends and I decided to share a portion of Falafel and Tony's Hummous. The Falafel was one of thee best I've ever had. Crispy on the outside and soft/moist on the inside - cooked to perfection. What's your secret? Tony's Hummous was nice and creamy with the olive oil and a bit of crunchy Cauliflower, I would have liked a bit more.
I decided to try the Spiced Lamb Flatbread, very tasty, melted in the mouth. Delicious.
Mains we had Lamb Kofta Grill, Cauliflower and Chickpea Tagine and Aubergine Tagine. The Lamb Kofta was delicious, very tender and spiced nicely. I would have liked a tad bit more rice but that is trivial. The meal was very tasty. The girls enjoyed their vegetarian options.
As it was my birthday I decided to treat myself to the Shambania Bellini Non Alcoholic cocktail which was very nice, sweet but not sickly. Like a nice fruity tropical punch. I also had the Leymona - Lemon and Lime Lemonade which was very refreshing. The girls had the Roomana, i tried a bit and it was okay but I like my citrus flavours.
Then lastly with desserts, I decided to go all out and had the Baklawa Selection and Portion of Ice-cream - One of each flavour, Chocolate, Vanilla and Pistachio. The baklawa was nice but a bit hard, it would have been nice if it was freshly made but it still tasted good. The ice-cream was very good.
The girls enjoyed their desserts, they had the Mango Cheesecake and Orange Blossom Mouhalabia.
Overall good portions, very good taste, great service and lovely ambience. A very nice evening out. Our waitress/staff were attentive and polite. Prices very reasonable. Would definitely recommend visiting here.
Easy to find, Winsley St is just after Sports Direct on Oxford St, opposite Marks and Spencers, just a few yards down.

Not Lebanese!
It seems that adding the word "Lebanese" to a restaurant is excellent for business. The food is delicious overall but definitely NOT Lebanese. It's a mix of Turkish, Moroccan, some Lebanese, and possibly a bunch of other cuisines.
The dishes, the presentation, the flavors, the decor, the staff, and the atmosphere are not Lebanese at all. Some Lebanese music was playing though.
The taouk platter was very dry and spices aren't Lebanese style. The kafta was very delicious and cooked well. The side salad that comes with both grill platters is definitely not Lebanese style. The rice that comes with them is also not a Lebanese thing. It should typically come with some hummus in the platter.
The hummus was overly sour and I have a good feeling it is canned hummus and comes with a type of bread on the side that is not Lebanese.
The service is alright (some staff members are friendly and engaging while others aren't cut out for the service industry).

Tucked behind Oxford Circus, Tortilla is a hidden gem for a quick and satisfying lunch. I recently tried their naked burrito, which allows you to customize your meal by choosing your style of rice, beans, meat, and salad. The options were plentiful, and everything tasted fresh and flavorful. While you can add extra toppings for an additional cost, the large bowl I had was already quite filling and reasonably priced at £9. It's a perfect spot if you're looking for a convenient and tasty Mexican meal in the heart of London. Definitely worth a visit!

I love coming to this store. The team is friendly and always willing to help. They make you feel at home when normally lunch breaks are synonymous with rushing yourself or grabbing and going. The experience I got is consistent and has become my favourite place to have food when I work in the centre. The price point is also balanced. You get decent portions for what you pay. Excellent value for money. Great stuff. Keep up the good work.

We were underwhelmed with our afternoon of tea and cakes but the staff were so attentive that I've boosted what would have been a lower rating. We started with a glass of fizz which was surprisingly crisp and refreshing. Our initial round of espressos were lukewarm but our friendly server made adjustments and they were perfect for the rest of our visit. Desserts were almost all disappointing, which was a let down after enjoying such fresh, tasty sandwiches. The macarons however, were excellent. A pleasant experience though I'm not sure that we will return.

I don't know what they do to beef, but it is the bomb. It made me cry tears of joy. I'm not joking. I have visited this place 4 times and never been disappointed. The service is exceptional - they even always remember which is my favourite wine The chips and side dishes are also really good - I particularly like the onion & tomato salad with fresh herbs. They could improve their limited beer selection...

Discovered L'express Coffee Company while dining nearby.
This no frills eatery captivated me because you choose what you want for a fixed price.
Prices start at 6.90 to 10.50.
So obviously for 10.50 you can have everything in the cheaper range.
The 9.50 is probably sufficient as the 10.50 box is just wider.
I chose the 10.50 because for that selection there was lasagne, chicken curry, chilli con carne, peri peri chicken, rice noodles which are all my favourites and additionally I can get anything from the other range like houmous, salad etc.
I got mainly the hot items because it was the things I wanted so imagine how joyful it was having chili con carne, lasagne and curry in one meal.
The chicken curry was really comforting as it was just like the school one while the chili con carne and lasagne were just as good.
The potatoes wedges were to my liking as they were soft and fluffy.
You can also order sandwiches and baked potatoes at the far end.
According to the internet, they used to be located in Holborn.
Will definitely return.
There is seating outside so on a pleasant day it's a great place to enjoy the food.

Great to find a place that serves fresh and tasty breakfast rolls and baguettes, English breakfast and a number of other foods as well. One of the last in this area (Bond street/ Regent street) that isn’t pre-cooked in some factory. Prices are outstanding and the service too. You made my Friday!
