Amazing place! Super authentic, very friendly and incredibly tasty food! Minna serves you with unique enthusiasm and passion and is the core of the experience of this place for me. The fish is fresh and well fried and the chips are always recently fried; the portion is huge for one so prepare yourself to eat a lot because you cannot stop eating until the end!

Very tasty fish & chips in a diner setting.
Food was very good, not oily or greasy at all. Only complaint is that the fish broke apart very easily, but not that big deal because it was not too breaded.
You basically order at the counter and then pick up your food when it's ready. Minna behind the counter kept things funny and lively while we waited.

Was recommended this place by my driver and they didn’t disappoint! The haddock is what I got and it was huge! Cooked fresh and was delicious. Nice place to have a chippy meal at. Added some salt and vinegar and it was everything I could ask for, not too greasy. Customer service was awesome too! I will definitely be back. I’d highly recommend this place. Come out and support your local businesses and avoid chains!

We were told by several London residents that this was the best in London. The portions were very large, and we could have shared the SMALL cod order (see picture). I could only eat half. Also the skin was still on the fish.
Jules Williams - 3 weeks ago
Atmosphere is great and well worth a visit for that alone. The food was so so. The cod a bit too wet. Good cod is flaky and more white colour. The batter on the fish was good, crispy but not oily. The food was served fresh and piping hot. Service a little slow - approx 10 mins from order to ready. Hygiene was good but could have been better.

We recently visited this restaurant and was pleasantly surprised by the overall experience. The atmosphere was lovely, with pleasant music creating a relaxed vibe. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive. But the highlight for me was the food—especially the aubergine. I’m usually not a fan, but this time I ate every bite. It was so delicious and perfectly prepared!

Top rated restaurant with Japanese cuisine. Their chef is fantastic. We had 6 courses with several meals for each course. Everything was so delicious, we enjoyed food, atmosphere and highly attentive service.
Book in advance.

Delicious and inventive Japanese food. The truffle miso aubergine was so good, we ordered seconds! Everything we had was fantastic.
We were there celebrating with friends and brought a bottle of champagne. Unfortunately the server didn’t seem very experienced in serving champagne and quite a bit was wasted due to bubbling over and spilling. The service was otherwise good and friendly.
The desserts were a bit of a let-down. I love truffles as much as the next person but don’t think they need to be in everything!

Delicious, elegant and set in an intimate setting. Fantastic service too. This tops any other Japanese restaurant in London that I have been to. The ingredients are fresh, and the mix of flavours particularly in the sauces pairs very well with the actual ingredients. The highlight for me was the unagi sushi with truffle & sweet soy, although it was also delicious without the truffle & sweet soy (we had to order more). For the quality of food, the price isn’t too unreasonable. It’s definitely perfect for a special occasion!! Highly recommend trying it out!

Supper succulent Chinese meal -all I can say!
If you are looking for one dish to order, the duck was supper super moist and delicate, but well spice way better than the one in Chinatown!
Also, the tea was reasonable at £3 per person :)

Very authentic Hong Kong cantonese food. Food is amazing, service is excellent as well. The restaurant is full of people all the time, better to book a table before you come. Great atmosphere.

Haven't been here for a while but the food remain nice and authentic. Dim sum is highly recommended. They are always busy specially Sunday, no booking needed. Just walk in and usually the waiting is fast.

I had a family birthday dinner with a few cocktails here, and it was good, especially the baked lobster in ginger and spring onion sauce, except for the crispy Cantonese fried chicken which was way overcooked and very dry.

The two men behind the bar were very friendly & welcoming.
I asked for recommendations on the small plates & was very impressed with the dishes I received. Both dishes were crispy & tasted beautiful.
Just a short walk from Marylebone station.

Great pub, The Allsop Arms to the west of Regents Park is a little gem. Great service and interaction with the staff. Sparkies in doing a bit of wiring, a good bunch. A super range of keg beers and five cask ales on offer, all locked and loaded, great stuff. A most enjoyable place to visit.

I recently watched the Euro 2024 match between Turkey and Austria at the Allsop Arms Pub, and it was an amazing experience. The atmosphere was electric, with fans from both sides creating a lively environment. Despite the bustling crowd, the staff were attentive and friendly, ensuring prompt service. The pub's wide range of drinks and delicious pub fare added to the enjoyment of the game.
The numerous screens provided great views from every corner, making it the perfect spot to catch all the action. The staff’s enthusiasm seemed to bring a bit of luck to our side, enhancing the overall experience. We’ll definitely be back for the quarter-finals – Allsop Arms is now our go-to spot for watching the Euro 2024 matches!

I had the pleasure of dining here and indulging in their exquisite three-course festive menu. The enchanting live piano music complemented my meal beautifully, and the service was good.
While the food was enjoyable, it didn't quite meet my high expectations. I plan to return, perhaps for a delightful afternoon tea or a tempting dessert.
I recommend this place to anyone seeking a captivating ambience.

Came here after we travelled back from bicester village. For a restaurant experience where we walked in and had availability it was great. Felt welcome and wasn't awkward.
Went for the 3 course and overall was happy with dishes that were served. Note that if you are looking for a meal to fill you up, this is more of an experience to have unique flavours.
The winning strength and aspect of this restaurant definitely is the service of the staff. I felt they had a good balance of being familiar and welcoming without being too strong on it and giving a sense of privacy to the diners.
Overall strong dishes that represent well Western dishes and an overall very relaxing experience had in such a remarkable establishment.

I have been to the Winter Garden Restaurant on several occasions with my friends. Each time we have come here for dinner it has been a wonderful experience.
This place is timeless and beyond beautiful, the restaurant is located within a hotel and decorated so splendidly. There is also a pianist present, so live music is always playing in the background at dinner time. This adds to the ambience and elegance of the restaurant.
My friends and I always book a time slot when we come to have dinner here.
There are plenty of options on the menu, but I often go for the steak option - Rib Eye steak. As well as the Crème brûlée for dessert. The last time we went there, we were celebrating a friendship anniversary, the waitress then brought over a fruit tart with ‘Happy Anniversary’ on it. This was such a sweet and thoughtful gesture that really added to our night. We really appreciated it.
I would highly recommend this restaurant for their delicious food, beautiful layout, live music and impeccable service. Would definitely come back again and again.

I recently visited Winter Garden to dine-in on the special occassion of my birthday. We received a warm welcome by the doorman and the lady at the front desk. All staff were very friendly and helpful. The exquisite decor, the lights, the live music - everything was extremely impressive.
We went for the set menu of three courses which includes a glass of champagne. Butter and choices of fresh bread were being served all along. For the starter I had red mullet, cod for the main - both were delicious. For dessert I tried dark chocolate mousse which was also good.
There was a special birthday tart in the end with live happy birthday music in the background, it was really special. Great dining experience overall!

The restaurant is in a beautiful setting, lovely to listen to live music whilst eating and all the staff we come across were nice.
A bit disappointed in the meal itself, struggled to find dishes I wanted to try on the menu, the food itself was ok but didn't match the stunning place it was in.
Overall it was a nice experience, you won't be blown away by the food but everything else is class.

A double beef burger and fries, plus a drink, only costs £8 if ordered before 4pm Monday to Friday. The quality is very good, the quantity is sufficient and very delicious. This one is worth trying. This bar may become your money-saving restaurant, which is much better value than McDonald's. Look around to see if there is a Sports Bar & Grill, a chain of bars.

Used to love this place but it's gone downhill. The Heineken is flat. The darts is electronic and keeps crashing and won't line up. The pool tables don't always accept card as they freeze.

It was a biting January night when I stumbled into the Marylebone Bar and Grill. Just a guy with my heart on my sleeve, a chip on my shoulder and the world in my eyes. I ask the team at the bar ‘do you have a screen to watch the City game?’
They say ‘No.’
I say ‘what?’
They said ‘we have 15.’
My jaw hit the floor, coincidentally leaving it wide enough to fit the burger into it. Folks, let me tell you, THAT’S a burger.
Kelly and Aisha showed a level of hospitality so impressive that I was almost scared. What an atmosphere for the game. What an ambience. What a place.
5 stars.

Nestled away in Marylebone, The Persévérance is a true hidden gem.
As soon as you step inside, you're embraced by the bar's wonderful taste for simplicity. The beautiful, cozy interiors and homey feeling foster a welcoming atmosphere.
We felt right at home thanks to the warm welcome from the attentive staff. While the bar has only just opened its doors, it's already attracting devoted regulars drawn to its signature cocktails and intimate vibe - and I am one of them.
Don't miss out on trying one of their signature cocktails!

This is an absolutely lovely cocktail lounge not far from Marylebone Station. Lots of atmosphere (music, lighting and seating) perfect for a date or catching up with friends. The Dirty Martini was a perfect rendition. The Rose Cloud was delicious and refreshing. They have a few snacks available and are working on menu. We'll Be back.

Absolutely fell in love with this place, as it was our first stop in London!! The aesthetic is so giving and pleasing! Pablo is so welcoming and is an expert as an mixologist! His drinks are absolutely fire!
He asked to pick a number 1-995 from a cocktail book, for a surprise drink! That drink ended up being the BEST drink and reminded me of home!
Thank you for being so generous with your hospitality!!

Enjoyed our small lunch here and was impressed with how big the pub is inside, with several floors, so much larger than it looks from outside. Superb atmosphere! But the highlight is ofc the food, quite a different menu from what you would see at the neighbouring pubs. Lot’s of fish and seafood options 👀 at a decent price. Definitely recommend the place

My daughter/son-in-law booked this for their wedding reception. Total 50 guests. Really impressive. Great service, nice food, good atmosphere. I would heartily recommend this for anyone looking for a venue for special occasions. We used the Garden room downstairs. The Harcourt recommended a 2 man band for the evening entertainment who were absolutely amazing. My daughter/son-in-law really impressed also. If I had to be picky I would say I wouldn’t have wanted to fit more than 50 in the space (it was cosy). We had the option to come upstairs to use the bar area if you wanted to speak to others in a quieter environment. A huge thumbs up from us to the Harcourt. Thankyou for making this such a special day.

Thank You for the outstanding service provided.
It really helped in making the day perfect and to run smoothly.
Thank you to all the staff especially James and Vicky.
When planning my wedding, I didn’t really consider the idea of a pub.
However The Harcourt really is a hidden gem and would make an excellent choice for future couples.
The interior is beautiful, warm and cosy. I had taken the white room.
They are very experienced in handling events from what I observed first off all they were helpful in advising me about things to consider for the reception and offered me choices on how I wanted it decorated.
They delivered my vision beautifully down to the cutlery, the best feeling was not having to think about the venue and the jobs to be done, they handled everything, the food was on time the guests were made comfortable and the customer service really was outstanding.
My photos were absolutely beautiful at The Harcourt and my guests had an amazing time.

Gastropub serving French style food. I enjoyed the seafood and I should have stuck to fish, but its not often I see rabbit on the menu. It was ok... Tastes like chicken? I did feel a bit weird eating it and had to keep telling myself meat is meat. All dishes had good sauce though.
Wheelchair access ❌ Small step getting in and no toilets on the ground floor. I did know beforehand though so was prepared.

I recently visited You Me and Sushi, and I must say it exceeded my expectations in every way. As a regular customer, I had seen some mixed reviews before, but after my recent experience, I can confidently say this place is a gem. From the moment I walked in, the service was exceptional. The server, a kind and courteous South Asian gentleman named DHANDEEP, truly elevated the dining experience. He was not only humble but also extremely attentive to every detail, making sure to cater to my preferences with such grace and professionalism. His warm demeanor made me feel welcome and valued as a guest.
I also appreciated his honesty in informing me about the difference in charges for dine-in and takeaway, which I thought was completely fair, especially given how busy the restaurant was. On top of that, they offer a student discount, which is a nice bonus, making it even more affordable for students like me.
The food was absolutely delicious—fresh, vibrant, and beautifully presented. The entire experience, from the impeccable service to the quality of the dishes, was truly delightful. I’m already looking forward to my next visit and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for great sushi and even better service!

It's OK. That's almost all I can say about the food. Not bad and not good. The dried mushrooms didn't work in the katsu curry because they were literally too dry and not even hot. It felt like an inadequate salad dish. So, I wouldn't be in a hurry to repeat the experience.
The thing I do not support the most is their use of throwaway packaging and plastics; especially for eat-in customers. Please STOP the plastic waste and damage to the environment.

Great authentic Thai with a varied lunch menu deal. I often come here for a quick lunch deal and the food is very good. Today I ordered from the all day menu and I recommend the duck spring rolls, fish cakes and the seafood green curry.

Visiting London for work and therefore eating alone, great little restaurant in this area. Cosy vibes, lovely staff. Reasonable prices. Extensive menu. I chose the Thai pork meatballs and vegetable pad Thai, glass of wine and a sparkling water. Bill came in at £37, which is reasonable for London.

Decided to have some light dinner late at night and came across this gem which was opened till 11pm. Ordered prawn pad thai and summer rolls, and banana fritters for pudding, washed it down with chrysanthemum tea. The tea has added sugar - not my fave but the staff did tell us when we ordered.
It was delicious! Sometimes I find pad thai in some places too sweet - but this was simply perfect for me.
The staff were friendly and warm. The restaurant enviroment was comfy and quiet though we went at 930pm.
The menu was extensive so I would return to try more dishes.

Lovely services, quiet place and good location. Food is pretty disappointing. my tom yum tastes like it was made from pre-made condensed flavoured sauce. Prawn wasn't fresh and overcooked, so they were hard and tasteless. My flat noodles Soya is lack of the flavor I expect from that dish, noodles were hard and stuck together, low quality beef tastes dry and chewie, and they put all kinds of weird vegetables which shouldn't be put into that dish, carot cut too thick, when stir fried they were almost raw and absorbed no flavor. Understandably, it is not easy and economy to get the real vegetables of that dish in the UK, but at least pak choy would be a better choice, which is widely available here.
