A great rooftop place. Pretty spacious place with ofcourse a great view to the St. Paul’s cathedral. Has a pretty big bar and cocktails were quite nice. Loved the overall ambience and vibe. When we went it was a rainy day, so couldn’t get super much in the backdrop, but otherwise it must have been very nice. Also have a sitting outside like lounge, so guessing in summers it must be a great hangout place. Food was quite decent too

Truly an elite service everyone knows how to treat customers. Exceptional standard of service from Giacomo he was very polite and professional. I came for my birthday and i couldnt recommend it enough. The food was amazing and the service was wonderful. Thank you so much Giacomo for the wonderful service. This place brings to mind Tina Turner with her anthem 'Simply the Best.' It’s an outstanding restaurant with amazing food, impeccable service, and a fantastic location—truly faultless. The staff are incredibly welcoming and have great suggestions, showcasing their extensive knowledge. The atmosphere and ambiance are something you have to experience for yourself. And let's not forget the breathtaking view! All of this comes at a reasonable price. Going back to Ms. Turner, it's definitely, 'better than all the rest.'

The Core Bar in London is a fantastic spot for a night out! The drinks were amazing, and the ambiance was perfect. A special mention to Maneesha, the bartender, whose kind and professional behavior made the experience even more enjoyable. Her attentiveness and excellent service really stood out. I recently visited The Core Bar, and it was a fantastic experience. The ambiance was vibrant, and the drink selection was excellent. A special mention goes to Maneesha, the bar attendee, whose exceptional service truly elevated the evening. She was attentive, friendly, and went above and beyond to ensure everyone was well taken care of. Her effort was much appreciated and made the visit even more enjoyable. Highly recommend this spot for a great night out!

Decent Chinese chain with all the common dishes from dumplings, noodles, bao etc. Service was excellent, the waitress was witty, attentive and happy to recommend dishes. Highlight was the beef tataki, chicken skewers, charsiu buns and the chilli dip sauce condiment

Want to have Chinese style lunch at this area, found this dim sum restaurant which nearby the cathedral! But the food not so nice and portion pretty small, dumpling also normal only! Personally will not recommend.

I recently dined at Ping Pong and, while the staff were polite, the food experience fell short of what was experienced, I ordered two mains—Char Siu Roast Pork and Sichuan Crispy Aubergine—from the Year of the Snake menu, but they arrived 15 minutes apart when they should have come together. So I ate one dish and had to ask when the second was arriving. The roast had a flavourful sauce but was not a roast at all, seemed steamed and the aubergine, though crispy, didn’t deliver the bold Sichuan flavours that Sichuan dishes usually do. It was edible but not filling which it’s should have been for £20+, so I requested that the discretionary charge be removed from the bill. The atmosphere was nice but I went at a quiet time of day.

Excellent service! Food is always delicious, it's a shame some of the older items have been taken off the menu. Definitely recommend the griddled beef gyoza and chicken xiao long bao.

My colleagues and I recently attended our Christmas meal at this establishment, and I was struck by its cool, eclectic vibe. The low lighting created a cozy ambiance, though it prompted me to use my cane. The decor was an intriguing blend of traditional Asian elements and modern touches, and there was even a robot serving customers, which added a unique and futuristic twist to the experience. For my meal, I ordered the Honey Chilli Chicken rice bowl and the pork bao buns. The Honey Chilli Chicken was delicious, but I found it leaned more towards sweetness than spiciness. A touch more heat would have elevated the dish to another level. In contrast, the pork bao buns were absolutely delightful—precisely what I had hoped for in both flavor and texture. The service was impressively quick and efficient, aided by the use of paper menus for ordering. Prices were reasonable, especially considering the location near St. Paul’s Cathedral. I would gladly return, this time with my wife, as I’m eager to try their chicken and black truffle gyozas, which, unfortunately, were unavailable during our visit. Overall, it was a memorable dining experience that I look forward to revisiting.

I recently had dinner here with a few colleagues, and while the food was a bit of a mixed experience, the service left much to be desired. Our waitress seemed uninterested and quite grumpy, which put a damper on the overall atmosphere. That being said, the rest of the experience was fine. I personally enjoyed the scallop and pasta dishes I ordered—both were delicious and well-prepared. However, my colleagues weren’t as lucky. They found their meals underwhelming and the portions were so large that it became more of a chore to finish than an enjoyable meal. So, while my dishes hit the mark, the inconsistency in both service and food quality left some room for improvement.

Second outdoor dining experience since lockdown easing. So grateful to be able to drink a pint of peroni with some friends. The food is delicious and service excellent, especially with one of the managers who was super friendly. Service speed is also pretty good. Location is in the alley so not ideal but works, sadly it was quite cold as not enough heaters to go round. Also, we asked for a beer from two different waiters for a friend, and although the 5th beer ever came we were charged. Nevertheless, the super friendly manager came to the rescue. A three course with a beer, and a bottle of malbec between 4 came to almost £60, definitely not cheap but probably reasonable with the alcohol. (PS sorry for the bad looking second photo, was too hungry and forgot to take the photo first)

This place is in a very prime location, just in front of the Bank of England and has beautiful views from the garden over the city. The food is there amazing, the wine lost is good and the prices are very reasonable for this kind of establishment. Overall, it is a good place to go for a meal or drinks.

We recently enjoyed the express lunch, which offered excellent value for money. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, making the experience even better. The food was delicious, and as a special touch for my sister’s birthday, the server acknowledged our request and surprised us with homemade chocolate truffles. To top it off, the server kindly arranged for us to access the roof garden for pictures, making the celebration even more memorable. Overall, it was a fantastic experience!

Friends and I had a wonderful dining experience at this restaurant. It’s a hidden gem in the city. The views from the rooftop are spectacular. The areas are well maintained and many photo opportunities for memories. The staff were wonderful and catered to our every need above and beyond they were led by head waiter Lenny who was fantastic in his service. Lenny was interested in his guests and gave pleasant conversation which we were delighted by and just hearing how much of the world he had seen was a great pleasure adding to the delight of the dining experience in such a lovely atmosphere. The rooftop views are spectacular and time was still spent taking photo opportunities to save happy memories. We will definitely go back there again and we will have lunch and stay till it closes. Drinks were perfect and selections plentiful. 10/10 all day long. Well done team.

Great food, although the fries are a letdown. If you're doing Wagyu and pair them with fries, they would need to be better than what you get in McDonald's. The staff were amazing. Would definitely come back.

Having been invited to Sunday Lunch, I was as impressed with the staff as well as with the menu and the location. The 3 course Sunday Lunch option is more than fairly priced for the excellent food you get. All the staff was very friendly and the location is great. Can only highly recommend this restaurant!

The Golden Fleece is a good city pub. Large ground floor area with another large area downstairs. Decent beers on tap. Visited on a Saturday so quite quiet like most of the actual city on a weekend. Suspect this place gets very busy on week nights. Nice pub. Recommended.

Having first visiting the Golden Fleece when meeting some friends in the city, it has become a regular haunt for our catch ups. It's a beautiful , traditional pub, with a really good lay out, great atmosphere,with the bar located in the middle, and so it never feels empty but also, with plenty of space never feels crowded. The bar staff are always friendly and welcoming, they have a great selection of beers, and if your peckish, they have a great kitchen, and I highly recommend the warm scotch egg.

We visited the Golden Fleece for a Friday afternoon Christmas lunch for 19 of us and it was great. The downstairs area with its own bar was just right for us. Emma's service was excellent and we all enjoyed the 3 course Christmas menu. It's a great pub for just a drink too, right in the heart of the City with a relatively fair bit of space out the front to drink outside.

The place is perfect for lobster lovers , decorated decently. We have ordered Mac & cheese with lobster and a set menu. Lobster were cooked perfectly, must try with butter garlic sauce. Mac & cheese quantity was perfect for 2 person. Must recommend to try croquettes with lobster. Definitely recommending to visit.

I want to tell my experience eating at this place. The staff named Julio and Gaetano were very friendly when welcoming our arrival. I went there for my Husband's birthday so when I made an online reservation from the website I made a note if I could please write on paper "Happy Birthday Daddy" and when I arrived I was surprised they gave me a card which usually in other restaurants they didn't even fulfill my request. I really appreciate them. They already prepare the table and put the card in the table before we came I heard them say, before they came to work they stopped by to buy the card. For some people a card is a small thing but for us it is something that really care about customers. I hope all staff in restaurants have good character like you both. I really recommended this restaurant, the food is very nice the lobster very juicy. My Son like the mac and cheese, lobster and the croquette and because the staff is very kind make us want to come back again. Thank you to Gaetano and Julio.

Burger & Lobster combo plates are hard to beat! Enjoyed the beef ribs more than the baked oysters which were tiny after being cooked. One of the few places that had last minute reservations on a Friday night. Many reservation slots available but place was pretty packed. Service was friendly and ambience was cozy. B&L never disappoints.

Nice setting. The host was very very chatty could place a word but was funny at the same time. The lobster 🦞 roll was delicious, would have preferred that it was served warm. Toilet was quite messy and wet.

Dined at this restaurant and wanted to share my experience. While I appreciate the establishment's focus on quality, I found the service to be disappointing. When I pointed to a salad on the menu, I was told that I needed to pronounce it correctly to place my order. Additionally, when inquiring about sauce options for my steak, the staff member simply indicated that the information was under the menu, without offering any assistance. Given the premium prices, I expected a more attentive and accommodating level of service. I hope this feedback helps improve the dining experience for future guest. Seriously feel like the discrimination to Chinese while English is not their first language. Not recommended to anyone if English is not proficient enough

We went for a lunch on a Friday. The atmosphere is very cozy and we were seated just next to the bar. We opted for an Angus T-bone steak and loved the sides (Mac and cheese our favorite!). I really recommend if you want to try steak in London as they have many options from different parts of the of world.

Really enjoyable. Staff were very good. Not overbearing and good was served at the correct times. Was hungry so went for the larger steak and a starter. Starter was amazing. Steak was average but my partners steak was to die for so hence the four star. Would recommend if your looking to go there on your companies credit card like most in there. It’s a bankers dream

This is the view will get don’t get fooled by other pictures which not taken from restaurant. The steak was so delicious and salmon appetizer too. Chips were so disappointing. They have to work so much on service coz some Macdo have better service and etiquette.

South African inspired menu, filling and leftovers can be wrapped in foil to bring home. I had the burger, cheese and bacon were extra. Tasty, but bacon a bit overcooked for my liking. Drinks were good and it's a nice quiet location (north bank of Thames, close to Millennium Bridge).

Everything was 5 star. The ambiance, service and food were outstanding. The manager let my wife try a few wines before she decided what to order. The place is expensive (£70 each) but worth it. I included a pic of our Pancetta desert.

A lovely meal at High Timer where the food is excellent. Personally I had the cod which was very tasty but most in our party had steak which I was told was delicious. We dined outside on a glorious summers evening and watched the full moon pass the Shard. Starters was smoked salmon and the desert was a superb malva pudding. There is a wide choice of food to suit your taste but if you prefer the taste of South Africa you will not be disappointed. The wine cellar has a large selection of wines and the ambience of the restaurant is subtle African. A very nice night out in the heart of the city with superb views along the Thames.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I recently visited Thai Square Mansion House for dinner and had an excellent experience. The food was of exceptional quality and absolutely delicious. While the prices may seem a bit high, I believe that’s expected given its prime location. What really stood out was the service – Ratchel, who attended to us, was incredibly efficient and provided excellent customer care. Overall, a wonderful dining experience and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for top-notch Thai food in a great location!

Can’t speak highly enough about this place. Location is down a little side street so wasn’t overly busy but beautiful inside with flowers everywhere, price was more than reasonable and because all food is cooked fresh it’s up there with some of the best Thai food I’ve ever had which is high praise concerning it’s a chain restaurant and all the staff were super friendly and very accommodating.

We ordered the Drunken Noodles and they were very tasty and nicely spicy. However the noodles were broken into small pieces (difficult to pick up with chopsticks) and the beef was tough. The green curry was delicious and deserved its 2 chili rating. It was pricey, but atmosphere was nice. $82.60 US for those meals, including two drinks.
