Modern hotel in close proximity to high street. Very hospitable staff and excellent breakfast buffet. Beautiful lounge on the first floor that is outstanding for afternoon tea. Overlooking a park that is very relaxing for long walks. Would love to go there again.

The service was beyond my expectations I am so amazed of the services and the hospitality. All my inquiries and requests were immediately answered. Rooms are super cleaned. All is amazing about this hotel except the size of the room was too small even for solo traveller i would recommend to book an executive room or the suite. Location is definitely perfect.

This review is for their afternoon tea.
I attended their special Halloween Afternoon Tea in October last year (sorry, forgot to review at the time), and was very impressed.
The setting was lovely, a quiet and plushy comfortable area off the lobby. The staff were great - very welcoming and really looked after us.
And the food? Amazing. Their pastry chef is very creative and talented!
We both really enjoyed a delightful and memorable afternoon, and were recently talking about how much we wanted to go back.

Very well located boutique hotel, next to Hyde Parc, on the less busy side, so very calm to relax after a day full of impressions. Underground just 3 min away. The hotel is nicely decorated, the breakfast excellent, it is served, so no buffet, but plenty of choice!
We had 2 rooms for our family, both nice and good size. Bathroom with all commodities. And last but not least the service is outstanding, at the reception, the restaurant, the manager. The whole team is well trained and has always a smile and a solution, this made our Christmas stay really special. Thank you!!!

**Review of Roseate House London**
The **Roseate House London** is a true oasis of elegance and comfort in the heart of the city. The hotel stands out for its welcoming atmosphere and extremely kind and professional staff. A special thanks goes to **Oleh**, who made our stay even more pleasant with his helpfulness and friendliness.
The property is well-maintained and equipped with all the comforts you would expect from a hotel of this caliber.
However, during our stay, we noticed a few minor inconveniences: unfortunately, there were some noises coming from the upper floor that slightly disturbed our relaxation. Another aspect that could be improved is the decor, particularly the **carpets**, which I would personally replace to give the rooms a more modern and fresh look.
Despite these small details, our stay was overall very enjoyable, and I would recommend the Roseate House to anyone looking for a luxury experience in a refined setting.

I enjoyed my stay very much. I was there twice this fall. Both stays were perfect. They bent over backwards to make sure I had everything I needed. I will definitely be back and will be recommending this beautiful hotel to all my friends. Thank you all so much for making both my stays so enjoyable.
Stephanie Stevens - 3 weeks ago
Great location and lovely staff but not good value for money. Our room was spacious and the bed was comfortable but all of the amenities were dated and in disrepair. Carpets were worn and furniture was threadbare and stained. Some of the knobs were coming off of the cupboards. The bath had a poor quality shower head that didn't spray evenly. At 1/3 of the cost this would have been OK but unacceptable with the rates they charge.
Overall, very disappointing. I am not sure how this property merits a 5 star rating.
Lulu Weis - 3 months ago
We enjoyed afternoon tea here, service was a bit unprofessional for a 5 star hotel, it was still fine, but people working had little experience. The afternoon tea was not very special in our opinion, but was still good. Just the price quality of afternoon tea is overrated in entire London area.

Roomy place with a great atmosphere. Only negative thing is the ambience. It can get noisy. There is also a fan in the roof that makes a lot of sound.
Food was served fast and the menu was very kid friendly. Good menu and great selection for the season.

We were staying in the area very close to ASK Italian! The day we arrived we saw the restaurant and we decided to visit one day of our stay! When we entered the hostels welcomed us and offer us a table and some lemonade as welcome drink! Klaudia was our hostes for the night and she was beyond amazing! Excellent service , exceptional hospitality, and the kindest person she was!! The food was amazing!! We loved everything! From the starter to the main course, to the freshly made non alcoholic drinks! I suggest it 100% for dinner and ask klaudia to serve you! The atmosphere was perfect! And the smell to the bathroom was unbelievable!!! Well done guys!!

One of the better chain restaurants in my opinion. The Nduja and cheese dough balls are delicious. I also love the grande lasange. I have put 4 stars as the prices are a bit extortionate. The lasange is £19.50 which for a chain restaurant is very expensive.

Amazing experience here at Ask Italian. The 3 course Christmas lunch was only £27.50, which is quite a good deal when compared to other restaurants. We didn’t expect the starters to come in large portions too and were already full by the time we got to the mains. The mains themselves were also extremely tasty and the service was amazing. Everyone was really attentive to our table. Would definitely recommend.

Excellent service, lovely atmosphere and great food! I came here with my girlfriend who is coeliac and the staff had excellent knowledge of her Gluten intolerance. My food was great and the gluten alternatives looked just as great.
Shoutout to our waiter Laszlo who went the extra mile. First restaurant review I’ve ever left because this place was a 10/10 - couldn’t recommend it enough.

Overall, this was a really enjoyable experience. The steak and Cottage Pie were terrific. The hummus was good as well, but the sausage dish was not good at all. If it weren’t for this dish, this place would be 5 star.

The restaurant, located inside the Lancaster Hotel in an upscale area of London, offered the perfect setting for a business meeting with its excellent service and atmosphere. The food was decent, but the drinks were outstanding.

This is a sophisticated Glatt Kosher restaurant that stands out as a rare gem in the heart of central London, distinguishing itself from the offerings in the North. The impeccable combination of exquisite food, top-notch quality, and attentive service effortlessly hits all the right marks, creating a memorable dining experience. Moreover, the availability of good-quality Kosher wine makes it an exceptional and satisfying experience.

When we arrived, only a few tables were occupied. Our host assisted with a great table location and presented today's menu. Previously, we reviewed the menu online and discovered that one of our choicrs was being featured. Our drinks were on the table before we could order, and our salads followed quickly thereafter. The kitchen must be running quickly upon finishing our salads. The main course appeared. Impressive zero wait time between. After dinner, the cleanup was prompt, and the desert menu was presented. Yes, cheese cake with coffee put the finishing touch on a perfect evening. Now, as leaving the restaurant, there wasn't a free table, inside or out, everyone was being treated to exceptional World Class Customer Service.

We ordered carry out. First of all, the website offers 20% off all day everyday on takeaway but that was not honored for us (something about taxes and needing to update the website). That felt like a scam - I was surprised they advertised the discount and weren’t willing to honor it. The portions were tiny. We paid £3.75 for 5 little sprigs of broccoli. Not much meat in the meat sauce. No salad dressing came with our insalata mixta. We ordered the spaghetti pesto genovese and got spaghetti with meat sauce - when I called to let the restaurant know the server said “you said genovese, that’s meat sauce”, even though the menu item is “spaghetti pesto al genevese” and I specified pesto when I ordered. They did re-make it for me, but I had to walk back to pick it up and return the incorrect dish. Overall way overpriced and disappointing, though you may have a better experience dining in.

The attention and the service from the staff is amazing. Their wines are great and varied. I have dined here several times and the appetizers, the pizzas and the main dishes have never disappointed me. I'm always trying different things on their menu. The desserts are amazing, but the bread pudding is the star of the show, although it's never on the menu. If you're looking for tasty Italian food with an authentic Sicilian twist, this is your place.

This review is based on my experience at the restaurant on my previous birthday. I have got a warmly welcome upon arrival and was seated at the table I requested for. Food is hot and well presented. However, the signature dish seemed to be not beautifully outstanding as before. Nevertheless, we are totally satisfied and highly appreciated by the service provided.
Highly recommended.

We dined in this restaurant with a few friends. The quality of starters were very standard but the main course was a different experience. I had sea bass with petit aubergine… absolutely delicious
Dessert was amazing as there was different taste in every dish.
Staff are quite in rush for serving the food and clear up.

One of the best Thai restaurants in London, could not recommend more!
The staff are incredibly talented, being polite, efficient and friendly, and the venue is simply fantastic, with a suiting atmosphere and attention paid to the minute detail, already with the hotel being in the Royal Lancaster Hotel, one can assume that the aesthetics will match the overall aesthetic of the hotel, but it had its own personality.
We ordered a prawn pad thai, a classic which was just great, the Chicken and aubergine green curry, which was the perfect level of spicy and creamy and coconut ice cream to balance it, which was the perfect level of sweet, and served in a coconut shell.
Would recommend!

Me and my daughter were lucky 🍀. We got a table by the window overlooking Hyde Park 🙌. The journey started therefore very well. A bit classic as atmosphere and this the only reason why I could not give the full pack of 5 stars 🌟. That said the food is simply excellent with a very good quality price ratio! The staff, kind, attentive and efficient. Good call if around.

Always come here when in London to get my Malaysian food fix. The price is expected as it's London but still reasonable when compared to other London Restaurants.. further more it's Halal..so no worries in that department. This time I tried the Oxtail soup also the Chicken Sour Egg and the fried rice. As usual it doesn't disappoint my taste buds. Additional added bonus is that it has a praying room downstairs with ablution area. The atmosphere is casual and relaxed.

Definitely great for a hearty and authentic Malaysian meal. Prices have gone up slightly but worth it for the portion-size and freshly-prepared flavourful (all halal) food. Great drinks selection too. Service was quick and friendly, and the restaurant space was cosy with a relaxed local feel.

For a Malaysian this place is a home away from home, satisfy your Malaysian food cravings here. It obviously isn’t 💯 % like in Malaysia but it’s close enough. We tried the satay goreng, ayam masak merah, grilled fish, oxtail soup and mixed veggies. I’d say the winner was the grilled fish. Would recommend this place any day of the week.

Small, popular family owned restaurant, serving authentic Indonesian food.
Really delicious, freshly made, served with a smile. Chilled ambience although usually full. Went there several times with friends & the food was consistently good. Tasty medium to spicy curries & lovely rice dishes. Serves halal meat as well.

I visited with colleagues of mine (5 of us) for our monthly meet up; we had a great time and as I organised the dinner I was happy to hear they all loved the food. Been here 4 times previously, I came with my mum who’s hard to please when eating outside and she loved all the dishes. Their food is packed with good flavours and the waiters are always friendly and smiling. For food recommendations;
Satay Goreng 10/10 (could eat the chicken by itself with the sauce soo good)
Ayam Goreng Telur Masin 10/10 (my favourite)
Sup Ekor Pedas 10/10 (spicy oxtail soup was so moreish, only choose the spicy one if you’re seasoned)
I’d come back to this place when the occasion calls for it because this time round the prices have increased a lot.

A month after I visit here. It's the same testy good food, friendly service by the waiter, make my evening dinner wonderful. The food is amazing as always & the service is superb nothing to complain. I'm looking forward to bringing my friends over here and planning for Christmas dinner with my colleagues as well. Their food is the best in this neighbourhood.

Overall good experience, I am not sure why people are complaining about staff, we haven’t faced any challenge, in fact found staff very courteous and supportive. Food quality was good, enjoyed the lamb kebabs and spinach. Also butter chicken was refreshing and tasteful. Cost wise it was ok, because of its location to Paddington station.
Nadeem Akhtar - 6 years ago
The food was amazing like I extremely enjoyed it, but the rest was debatable… the service was interesting, the waiter didn’t smile at all and kept telling us to get the extra rice even though we kindly refused and was unhappy when we said no. I understand recommendations buts insisting this much was strange. Then when we got the bill we were unpleasantly surprised by the price, as we checked later, we ordered £87 worth of food and we got charged £100! When we asked for the itemised bill, they just gave us the receipt without the itemised bill. When we asked again, they refused.
I do not recommend and I would not come again

Thank you for a fantastic dinner. They saw us struggling with the decision and promised us that it won't be too spicy (one child) and it turned out perfect.
The Peshawari Naan was sweet and soft, so was the butter naan. The chef's special lamb was amazing (must try) and the meat was so soft. The Rogan Josh lamb was so flavorful and mild. They remix the spice for the Chicken Tikka!!
Amazing meal. We ate alot of Indian Cuisine in Toronto and in Asia, my hats off to the chef for blending the spices that each dish has its own unique flavor.
Greeter, waiter, servers - all excellent service.
Great meal for our 1st day in London. Thank God Hyde Park is few mins away... we need to walk off the calories.

The service and food was amazing! Very friendly staff; the food came out quickly and tasted delicious. Plenty of different options and worth the money. Would definitely eat here again and I highly recommend. We had: prawn and lamb biriani, chicken korma, chicken jalfrazi, cheese naan and garlic naan - all were very nice!

I am a regular visitor of their Hounslow branch, so I can make a very good comparison. This place is very centrally located near Paddington station but is much smaller than the Hounslow branch. It would be may be one fifth by size. Food is okay but not as good as compared to the Hounslow branch. May be because the chefs are different, that's why there is that difference. But the overall food was good as well. Though the preparation was totally different from Hiunslow but I can't call it bad. The place is very small and has a retro effect. The service was okay but could have been better. It is very popular among the locals, as when I was there the restaurant was totally full and the manager had to return 5-6 customers for non availability of table. Overall, it didn't disappoint me.
