5 Star Rating ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ A Perfect Couples’ Spa Experience in Central London 🧖‍♀️💆‍♂️✨ From the moment we stepped into the hotel, we were greeted warmly by the staff and guided to the spa area located in the beautifully decorated basement. The festive winter decor throughout the corridors created such a cozy and magical atmosphere, setting the perfect tone for a relaxing day. ❄️🎄 After a warm welcome and an explanation of the day’s schedule, we changed into our spa robes and began with a mud scrub treatment. It was incredibly refreshing and left our skin feeling soft and revitalized. 🫧🧼 We then enjoyed a peaceful tea break followed by a delicious lunch. The food was beautifully presented, tasty, and served in generous portions – an absolute treat. 🍵🍽️ The highlight of our day was the couples’ full-body massage. We were in the same room, which allowed us to relax and enjoy the experience together – such a thoughtful detail for a couples’ spa day. 💑✨ The massage itself was deeply relaxing, and it was followed by a lovely facial treatment that left us both glowing and completely at ease. After our treatments, we had full access to the spa facilities, where we spent hours unwinding in the sauna, swimming pool, and Jacuzzi. The entire space was spotless, well-maintained, and designed for maximum comfort. 🏊‍♀️🧖‍♂️ If you’re looking for an exceptional couples’ spa day in Central London, with luxurious treatments, outstanding service, and a serene atmosphere, this is the place to be. We left feeling refreshed, connected, and already excited to return. Highly recommended – an unforgettable experience! 🌟🙌

5 Star Rating Attended for the Bridgerton Afternoon Tea with my beautiful friends in autumn 2024. A very grand London hotel (finely-dressed-gentlemen-in-hats-holding-entrance-doors-open type of affair) so do dress accordingly. The tea room itself was a delight: a pianist playing in the background creating a gentle ambiance and fine decor. Staff were diligent, arrival of food was well-timed and lovely presentation overall. Selection of food was pretty good, all nicely themed and enjoyable. Great selection of teas that were tasty and not too “flowery” or sickly which is an unusual plus point. Taste of the food was above-average but not as distinct compared to the standard of everything else. I felt I was paying more for the name and the fanfare rather than quality of food. And for me - I’m there for the food! Still, it is worthy of 5 stars. Could have benefited from having Jonathan Bailey make a personal appearance, but I suppose you can’t have it all. Great toilets, efficient cloakroom service, well located within 10 mins from underground.

4 Star Rating Went for afternoon tea for a birthday treat, had a selection of sandwiches but the cucumber sandwiches were quite bland and bread was not as soft. Scones and desserts and teas were all good was given a small birthday treat too. However service was bad if the waiter says he will be looking after you , you expect them to come and ask if we needed anything but not once did he come unless we called him over had to keep getting attention of other waiters when asking for something, service definitely needs to improve although they was all polite not very attentive.

4 Star Rating Started June 14, 1971, in London, England, by two Americans, Isaac Tigrett and Peter Morton. The day before my birthday we went to dine here. The food was delicious. The meat was falling from the ribs and was not dry at all. The ribeye steak pieces were juicy and delicious. Friendly staff. Hygienic and great atmosphere. We had a great time and will definitely come back whenever we’re in the neighbourhood.

4 Star Rating Really nice server. He (Ugo) worked hard to make our experience enjoyable throughout our evening. The cafe itself is the oldest in the world - the original so to speak. The food I found to be slightly different from the menu description. I expected boneless wings to be simply without bones but were instead a different dish, breaded and deep fried, a poor relation to chicken wings. The cocktails were too strong and had some citrus as well which caused me a tummy upset. Didn’t like the onions on the barbecue selection either. Portions are quite large but horrendously expensive. Chocolate brownie, although massive, was too dry. Too much brownie not enough sauce or ice cream. Thoroughly enjoyed the evening nonetheless. Great table and atmosphere.

5 Star Rating Great experience made more exciting when I found out this is the original Hard Rock Cafe! Lots of interesting music memorabilia around the space. Upstairs is generally busier, noisier and more lively, whereas the space downstairs is larger and feels more open. We had lunch downstairs which was lovely as it was easy to chat and hear one another. Food was great! Best cheese sauce I have ever tried. Good range of cocktails. Pricing more than fair for very central London. Staff were friendly and accommodating to our various requests , including a change of table to the downstairs space. Well worth a visit!

5 Star Rating Awesome staff. Only 1 out of the 15 working seemed to be annoyed when we walked up to get a table. He took his coffee cup and turned his back to us and walked into the restaurant. We both ordered grilled chicken sandwiches. They were dry. Ask for more honey mustard on the side. Fries were great. Side salad was great. Matt was a wonderful server. Went above and beyond with our dairy allergy to ensure we were safe to eat what would not make us sick.

4 Star Rating The quaintest of all the pubs we visited on this trip, starting with its hidden location (in an enchanting street), the outdoor red, blue and white color scheme and flanked at the entrance with a doorman to match. We felt welcome and in good company the second we walked in. The bartender was friendly, our server Joanna quite efficient, and the interior was cozy and intimate. A small space but with just enough distance between tables. We went on Sunday night, where roasts are de rigueur. We started by sharing a delightful cheese tart, topped with red berries and greens. For the mains I talked my girlfriend into having the Duke Wellington since I do not eat meat, and she thanked me for suggesting it. It looked just right, juicy, pink and the crust was dry and honey colored. I had the turkey breast with potaoes, carrots, and a succulent glaze. Both came with giant Yorkshire puddings. We devoured everything on our plates, and still had room left for dessert: cheese cake, Two happy customers went back to their hotel, happy to have spent £96.19 on an authentic meal, in a historic place, and still three weeks later savoring that moment in time.

5 Star Rating We loved all three courses of our meal. The burrata was divine, served with enormous perfectly ripe cherries and sliced figs. The scallops were beautifully cooked, soft but not overdone. My friend had the Beef Wellington - she said it was succulent. The monkfish and prawn curry was balanced and the sauce was delicious. The crumble had huge crunchy topping with apples and soft fruits. The sticky toffee pudding ( and its treacle sauce) was sublime. So rare to enjoy all three courses. The Rioja Crianza was full bodied but smooth, complementing the food. A wonderful memorable lunch. 10/10 to a chef who knows how to cook properly.

5 Star Rating Probably my favorite pub in London, love how it’s hidden off the back alley cobblestone streets. Love the decor and the variety of cask ales, love the historical aspect and apparently it’s haunted. One of the bartenders was nice enough to take me to the basement and show me the area where the body was buried. The food is also excellent , their beef Wellington is delicious! The burger, lamb and duck are great choices as well! It’s a great pub to see for sure anytime you are in London!

3 Star Rating Visited this restaurant recently looking for a nice evening out with my wife. The service to start with was great from being welcomed downstairs to bring seated by the bar for a few minutes and then taken to our table, but that level of service just went down after that. The Food took ages to come, we were receiving one item at a time at the start, in comparison to the table next to us who received all items quickly and all at once. The presentation of the food was Nice, but the quality and taste of the food was average. I felt like I have had better at local takeaways which would be a fraction of the price, there was nothing wow for the premium price and in terms of the atmosphere it was way to loud for such a high end restraunt.

2 Star Rating Really wanted to like this restaurant but it wasnt worth it. Ordered the crispy rice with spicy tuna, yellow tail jalapeno, and miso cod. The miso cod was really soft but it felt really greasy. After a few bites you really couldnt eat anymore, I see why they asked if you want rice with it. The yellowtail was the nicest dish but not worth raving about. Staff was friendly and quick with cleaning! Spent 250 pounds, super expensive for what the food was

4 Star Rating This is a nice 17th century pub in Mayfair, the prices do reflect the location, £6.30 for a nice IPA. Their cask selection was limited to two. They do offer standard pub grub e.g. fish and chips at £18.75. This is what I call a traditional pub with a lot of dark wood panelling. They also have an upstairs bar. They show the usual live sports and from 8th November live karaoke on a fortnightly basis (as well as other events). Being a Greene King pub they do offer the double up for £3, e.g. single Buffalo Trace £8.40, double £11.40. The service was good. A nice pub to visit.

We chose steak and ale pie with triple cooked chips and a Korean bbq chicken burger with chips. A pint of cider and a j20 came to £40. The food took quite a while to arrive, just over 30 minutes and the pub was not busy. The chips weren't very nice but everything else was ok. The pub is a very old pub, over 400 years, but it didn't seem to show any original features off. Overall it was ok but could of been a lit better.. thanks for replying. Ill pop in next time I'm up.

The evening began with warm bread and butter—simple, yet comforting and fresh. For starters, I had the terrine of duck and corn-fed chicken paired with a laminated truffle roll. The combination was rich and indulgent, with the truffle adding a luxurious touch. My main course was the cod and shrimps, which was the highlight of the meal for me. The dish was beautifully presented, and the flavors were perfectly balanced—delicate yet flavorful. It was clear that a lot of thought had gone into crafting this plate. To end the meal, I had the honeycomb and caramel yule log for dessert. It was a sweet, festive finale that felt indulgent without being overly heavy—a perfect way to conclude the evening. The service at Lanesborough Grill truly stood out. Both the waitstaff and the sommeliers were attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable, enhancing our experience significantly. The restaurant itself exudes warmth and coziness, making it an ideal spot for a special festive meal. Overall, Lanesborough Grill delivers not just in terms of food but also ambiance and service. I’d highly recommend their festive menu for anyone looking to celebrate the season with elegance and flavor.

4 Star Rating Delicious afternoon tea sandwiches (with unlimited refills), but I wasn't as impressed with their teas or Bridgerton theming. I made a reservation on Sunday at 4:30 pm to celebrate my mom's retirement. When I had booked several monthes back, the reservation mentioned that champagne was included, however, this is not the case while they're serving festive tea. Instead, a twist on a margarita cocktail or non alcoholic blooming wallflower drink is included. The cocktail was delicious and quite cute with a coconut edge and feather sticking out of the cherry. For tea, my mom and I ordered the Bridgerton blend and my dad ordered the Lanesborough breakfast tea. We did not like the Bridgerton blend, so my mom ordered the Lanesborough breakfast tea instead and I ordered the white choco chili tea, which tasted much better! The sandwiches were the highlight of the tea, and included turkey cranberry, egg, cucumber, and smoked salmon. There was also a traditional mince pie included. They came by with refills of all four sandwiches. The scones arrived warm with clotted cream, lemon curd, and raspberry preserve. The desserts were my mom's least favorite part of the tea. I thought they were fine but a few seemed to taste very similar. In regards to the theme, I was not wowed. The desserts were named after characters from Bridgerton in the menu but that seemed to be the extent of the theming. The desserts looked like they could have been part of any holiday teas rather than a Bridgerton tea. Perhaps the regular tea is more themed.

5 Star Rating Went for Bridgerton Afternoon Tea. They were able to accommodate my dietary restrictions so well! Truly above and beyond. The sandwiches were flavorful and moist. The scones were fresh baked. The pastries so gorgeous. The service was top tier, they made it such a joy to spend a few hours sipping tea. The unlimited sandwiches and scones, tea and coffee made this an incredible deal. I will certainly be recommending and returning!
