This location offers a bowling alley, a bar/ lounge area and a section for quick bites and eating. It's a really nice place. The staff were polite, the cocktail I had was really nice as well as the chicken wings. The price was fair and value foe money.
We had to wait for about 20 mins for a free bowling area but it wasn't crowded. The bowling screens and area functioned properly.
It's a nice place for a date night, quick bites with friends and generally great for group hangouts.
The music choices over the speakers were great as well.
I rate them solid.

I came here with my partner and a pre birthday gift in October 2023. I loved playing bowling here which was great fun, although we had to wait a while to get out lane even though this was prebooked. You also have a time slot which you need to keep to. Games are pretty quickly done here but was still great fun! The atmosphere in here was pretty cool and the cocktail drink we had was great! I would definitely recommend couples and groups to come and have a game of bowling here. There is also a chill out area that you can sit and relax before and after the game, make use of the selfie machine here which was really cool as a keepsake memory. Thanks again and see you soon!

Loved our visit for a quick bowling. Very neat and well arranged alleys. We totally enjoyed our time and had loads of fun. Also a cute photobooth was amazingly cute for a vintage bw photo.

Bowling games are good but with small issues.
Before we started play, a lane developed an issue. Following this, my own lane had a ball issue - one less bell was coming on. Now seeing 2 issues happen in 30 mins tell me, this place frequently sees these problems.
Additionally, they only allow you to book 1 game - which lasts 10 mins for one person. You really think people visit to play a single game ? That too of 10 mins? I would like the ability to book as many games as possible.
Also they force you to have food if you want to play in peak hours. This sounds like a forced bundling to me. Should not be allowed.
Guess this business is open for competition. Will see if there are other operators in the area which can provide better services.

Did the drink, dine, bowl package which was £25 each when booked online. It’s a shame you can’t just book for bowling and we were unable to book more than one game. The food was better than expected. The bowling was good fun and the staff were nice, but it wasn’t very clean and the space to put your drinks while bowling wasn’t cleaned between groups which was disappointing.

Have stayed here not that long ago with my husband whilst in London visiting friends.
We have had excellent experience - the hotel is situated exactly we’re we needed to be in a beautiful part of London. Every member of staff the we met during our stay was very friendly and welcoming giving us impression that nothing was too much of a trouble. The room was great, very clean and had everything we needed. Thank you for a great stay and we sure will stay again!

The only good thing about this hotel is the location. Hotel and rooms are very dated and don't feel super clean. Bed is very basic, did not feel like luxury in the slightest, with a firm mattress. Service was terrible. No one offered to help with luggage, no answer when we tried to call reception from the room and we tried multiple times. The hotel has unavoidable steps and the carpets make it difficult to roll luggage bags. Many of our power outlets in the room didn't work and neither did the towel warmer. Air conditioner had dirty vents and was extremely loud. Overall, I would not stay here again nor recommend it to others.

This is a lovely hotel with plenty of character, staff were friendly and welcoming.
Our room was very clean. The bed was really comfy with beautiful white linen.
I had a brilliant nights sleep.
Bathroom was modern with a huge shower, and plenty of hot water.
Really handy for the theatres and Oxford Street.
I will definitely stay here next time we're in London.

Beautiful interior, far more detailed than my little phone camera could catch. Incredible wood, glass and tile work throughout the entire place. I only stayed for one drink but the organic wheat beer was the best I’ve had in London. Smooth, flavorful and a thin head that stays throughout the drinking experience. I’ll be back.

Absolutely beautiful Victorian pub. The tiling, ceiling, mosaics, stained glass, and general interior decoration is astounding, and well worth a visit for a pint. The cider on draft is also delicious.

My husband loves the beer, I love the interior design 😊 (and the beer too, to be fair). It’s a must-visit every time we’re in London.

Great decor and atmosphere, but what makes this place even better is it's Samuel Smith Organic Lager! The pub also has unique dividers. If you get there early enough with a group, you can secure a small section.

Lovely old pub, very unusual layout inside with separate booths to drink in.
It could be a 5star but we weren't in there very long. Elle who served us was very welcoming and friendly.

Amazing food!! Everything came out fresh and cooked to perfection. The service was great, Alex was very attentive and friendly. Definitely the place to go if you want a great steak!

My friend and I come here several times a year. One of the best value steakhouses you'll find. Nothing pretentious, just great food at a great price. The little mini-booths at the front are excellent tables for two.

Food is absolutely incredible and so reasonably priced for what it is and for London (we paid £37 a head and we had alcohol drinks and steak and a few sides). Staff were lovely service was a good speed and the whole place just has a unique vibe, interesting art work and nice booths so you don't feel like you're sat next to someone else.

Everyone at my table was super impressed with this restaurant, including myself. The starters to the mains were exquisite 👌 Well presented and flavoured together so well. The meat was super tender and flavourful. I haven't had meat like that in a long time. The service we received was very friendly and professional. I also had a sneaky peek at the kitchen and I was blown away at how tidy and squeaky clean it was. It was shinning✨️ I will definitely be telling people about this place and will definitely go there again.

This place is a little gem. Took the entrance at the back straight upstairs.
Service was exceptional. Polite and informative. Efficient.
Food was great. I had the chicken breast and it was like a posh roast. It was very very tasty. The gravy was quality but the star was actually the chicken. It was cooked with a nice crispy skin.
It was high quality food and I was pleasantly surprised. Downstairs doesn’t seem to have quite as much class as upstairs just by looking. Go upstairs and eat. It was fantastic.
Would definitely go again

Visiting London for the week from California quick Google search and we happened upon The Ship Tavern- had the absolute best meal of our trip- historic pub, gorgeous ambience, excellent service from Camila. Fish & Chips were fantastic also had the mushroom risotto also delicious- Camila made us feel so welcome and shared her recommendations for food and drinks and also shared the tavern history with us. Thanks for a memorable evening! Def recommend 10/10

Fantastic food and pleasant service! Definitely recommend to book a table for the upper floor and get the traditional British dishes: fish & chips, steak pie and the beef Wellington. The sticky toffee pudding is great.

Good pub with great decor and friendly excited staff. The choice of drinks were amazing and the food was super delicious. Especially the fish and chips were my favourite meal from that day. What I enjoyed most was the comfy chairs.

Went for a team Christmas lunch and fair to say that everyone was pretty disappointed with the food for the money. Service took a long time (understandable when busy but almost 4 hours for a 3 course meal?) everyones main courses were missing items from the description on the menu, and when we asked the staff about it they went off and never came back with an answer. Portions were very small and the quality of the food wasn’t amazing, so for over £40 a head, I’d suggest looking elsewhere.

It could have just been catching the team behind the bar at a bad moment, but being a tourist and having an hour to kill before dinner, I wanted to order a drink. I asked for the drinks menu and was told they didn't have one. I was offered one of the beers they had on tap and, when I asked whether they had wine, the nicest person in the group provided me with a wine menu with a warning that the prices may be out of date. That's fine, ordered a wine which was only cents off the price on the menu. When I sat at a table, there was a wonderful cocktail menu with some pretty amazing cocktails that would have been nice!

Lovely little place! Great pancakes with a nice selection of savoury, sweet, and sweet&savoury choices! Also good veggie options and a kids menu which was good. I would recommend to book in advance as it can be quite busy! Service was good, overall a great place to eat and take plenty of pics

Savoury pancakes here were very soggy and I much prefer crepes. They upside is they are quite large so 1 could be easily shared between 2 people who are also ordering dessert.
The dessert pancakes were really good. Nothing out of this world but solid desserts, a little cold but that’s the nature of these little fluffy treats.
The mini poffertjes pancakes were the best dish here and a must try. Share if you can!

This is the second time we’ve visited The Old Dutch. It’s a real treat for adults and kids. The menu is extensive, the staff are friendly and the food itself was super scrummy! Whether you want a full English or traditional maple pancakes, this place has it!
It’s not the cheapest pancake house in town but you’re paying for the unique experience - great for a special occasion.

The pancakes were nice, although as you can see from the pictures, the cream was very runny! I ordered takeout. The toppings were packed separately. I was expecting cream but this turned out to be runny / whipped / watery cream. The consistency was nothing like cream. The lotus sauce was very runny. It seemed like both toppings had been watered down. The pancakes did taste nice but I've had better. Probably wouldn't go again.

The salad choice is great and reasonably priced. The warm buffet is a bit hit an miss - be careful with anything that contains minced meat. I had meatballs recently (not for the first time) and they were lamb. They weren't declared as lamb meatballs. I also had a 'beef pastry bake' and could taste lamb. I suspect they were a mix of beef and lamb. I can't stand lamb, so both times my money was wasted. It's just not on to not declare the type of meat correctly.

5 Stars all round!
On my way to work I pop in for a light breakfast; my colleagues and I without a doubt always go for lunch.. Their hot food options are of such quality and variety that you'll never get bored.
Staff are helpful and friendly, always served promptly!

I would give it 6 stars if I could.
The food is so good that there is a danger you might bite your fingers, I suggest you try the lasagne and other hot food for lunch. The prices are more than reasonable, in fact far cheaper than other local options. Box of hot food under a mere £6. Fresh orange juice for under £2.
Staff are very friendly and informative making it a welcoming place. I come for coffee and lunch Monday to Friday without fail and even during lunch the queue moves on efficiently like a Japanese train.

I was in the area for a few days for training and went here every day! A wide range of amazing tasting food. Coffee's are relatively cheap compared to other places and taste exactly the same (coming from an old barista). Hot food at lunch varies every day aswell as the salad bar.
Would definitely recommend purely due to fresh and great tasting food aswell as the good pricing.

An absolute gem to find in the centre of London. Has a wonderful, unpretentious, community feel. All the staff are so lovely and friendly, you can't fault them. Some tasty, classic pub grub is available and they put on some fab events. Their Fri & Sat DJ nights are particularly good - dancefloor space and music continuing until 2am. Just brilliant!

Went here for Sunday roast with zero expectations and was blown away. Incredible food and quick, attentive service. While full, the venue felt spacious. Service was fast. Drinks were great. And the food elevator was fun to watch.

Great food but disappointed by the lack of pub ambience as the owner painted the walls white like snow. I had a meat ale pie and my wife had a parmeggiana, both plates were delicious. One of the first licensed pubs in London, they put in a plate (would it be true?). Worth the visit, I may return some day.

If you are around the British Museum, this is the place to visit for food and drinks. The history of the place makes it museum itself. You should visit to find out why. It's not a posh place but, the food is good and you get value for your money. Sometimes its overcrowded and the service could be slow. Worth visiting for sure.

This is an interesting pub. I was there at 16.30 on a Monday afternoon so it was not too busy. The bar staff were very friendly and prices very reasonable for the area (double Makers Mark, £9.80). They had a limited range of draft beers including 2 cask ales. They also had 2 cocktails on tap. They have many events including quiz nights, open mic nights and a DJ (Friday and Saturday nights until 2am). They do say that they are the oldest licensed pub in London, not sure I agree with that. Certainly a nice pub, but I am guessing the clientele differs during the day.
