Absolutely amazing restaurant located in Kensington. Came here a couple of times previously and unfortunately they were fully booked, tried our luck again and thankfully they were able to squeeze us in.(BE WARNED- if you haven't booked you'll be lucky to get in, definitely so at peak times). The menu looked great, rustic English fare.We went for stilton mousse and cheese and leek tart for starters followed by rump of lamb and fish pie. The food was faultless. Every dish tasted gorgeous. The wine (just went for Malbec and Chablis by the glass) was very nice too. The service was friendly, attentive and helpful. The atmosphere was warm, cosy and romantic with a very rural theme. Prices were reasonable considering the quality of the food and the location of the restaurant. Overall we had a great time and I'm so glad we were able to get a table. We'd both like to go again, soon. My thanks to the gentlemen on the door, they were very busy so I didn't get chance to get his name (owner, manager, maitre d, greeter?) But he was amazing and a real credit to the restaurant. I'd highly recommend this restaurant.

Fantastic service, ambience, and food. The food itself is good, but it's really everything else that puts the experience over the top! It's a little pricey, but specially compared to other pubs, but in my opinion, completely worth it! I had:
- Stilton mousse: fantastic!
- Sausage and mash: good. The onion gravy had fantastic depth
- Chocolate pot: dense, but silky

My husband & I went to this restaurant to celebrate 🍾 my birthday. The servers were very polite and attentive with a warm, welcoming smile the moment we entered the restaurant. The food was full- flavoured, especially the crispy roast pork belly. We both truly enjoyed our meal. Giving us the most memorable experience. Highly recommended ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I made this last minute booking through email and got the confirmation within minutes so that was a good start! Very responsive even over emails.
The place is unpretentious but you get more than you would expect! I chose this place for a catch-up with my friends whom I haven’t seen for 10+ years! We were led downstairs which was a surprise at first but it was the perfect place and my friends really liked it too — what with it’s rustic charm and English food. The food was fantastic (we even had a vegetable dish on the house, thanks!). Service was superb and very patient with us when we delayed our order because one of my friends was running late.
We thoroughly enjoyed our visit and will definitely come here again with my family next!

Fancy traditional British restaurant where u indulge in the original English experience.
Imagine enjoying traditional food where the sister of the Queen used to eat and enjoy her time with other royalty members!
Such a vibe and a beautiful experience!
Food is so good. Never in my life have i tried such butter and all the dishes are impeccable; not to mention the welcoming of the staff..
A must try experience whenever you are in London

One of Green King pub at just off busy high street Kensington. Nice to pop in to have a cold pint in this cozy old little pub after a long walk for shopping. The food is traditional pub menu and nothing special, but is variety, reasonable and tastes good. The bar staff are friendly and good service. TV's on for watching sports games. No garden or courtyard for smokers.

It was a pleasure to visit this pub. The ambiente itself isn't extraordinary but the food, beverage and the service is! We had a mix of five of the small plates, every single plate was delicious and the sauces flavourful coordinated. Also the Dessert was very tasteful.

I really miss Cote Brasserie in Glasgow so we were super happy to find this one in Kensington. Popped in for lunch and it was excellent. Just a really nice vibe and great food. We shared whitebait to start... super light and tasty. Then salad nicoise and caeser with french fries. A little glass of red wine! Lovely staff too. Thanks

Set menu offers good value.
The waiter (Robi) took the time to speak with me, recommending a wine to enjoy with my meal (great choice!).
Service was efficient and friendly.

Had a great meal at Côte Kensington. Our server, Prakriti, was great and quite helpful with recommendations. Charming setting and an attractive menu with lots of variety and price points. I also enjoyed the Pillars Pilsner. I got the sirloin, my wife the trout (from summer menu) - both were great, based on our fully cleaned plates. Thoroughly enjoyed our visit, the caliber/attentiveness of staff and menu - and prices seem quite reasonable too!

Genuinely some of the best nigiri my wife and I have had. Every piece was balanced perfectly and as their cheeky slogan states, skip the soy sauce here, as you definitely do not need it.
The uni was melt in your mouth incredible with a touch of wasabi. To follow we both ordered the eight piece omakase which again, was incredible and left us wishing we had got the eleven piece.
The service was perfect and everyone in the staff was so kind. Many thanks to everyone at Yashin for a great dinner!

A dinner to remember, without a doubt. I was looking for a good place to celebrate an anniversary and chose Yashin. We were rewarded with class service, fresh food, and a dedicated chef and team. Every aspect of the meal was outstanding. We ordered as much as we could and only wish we could have fit in more. The wagyu beef and bone marrow were sublime. The presentation on the aged tuna matched the succulent flavors. The omakase plate was fresh and exciting. To eat a good meal is such a joy and this was such a meal. Would certainly recommend it and look forward to returning. Five stars all the way.

A lot ot care is clearly taken in preparing the food. The soft shell crab is done to perfection. The Icelandic sea urchin was interesting but probably an acquired taste. Excellent attentive service, beautiful simpl3 cozy atmosphere and reasonable prices for this quality and freshness. Very highly recommended.

Had a great experience over here, classic British pub, with traditional selection of food, obviously fish and chips and steak and ale pie is a must to try.

Very nice pub. The food we got was not good. Pie, mash, mushy peas... pie was great, the mash was like semolina, looked like it was out of a packet. The little bit of peas were miserable. We asked for a few more peas, the staff member without personality (busy with her phone) charged for the extra few peas...
Nice location, nice pub otherwise..

I’ve been coming here for years and still love it. It’s my favorite shawarma place outside of Beirut, and if I’m honest (having lived in Beirut), even in Beirut you can’t always get shawarma of this quality. Mezzehs are also decent, although this not the kind of place for an elaborate mezzeh sit-down or diner. Service is friendly, prices have gone up quite a bit in recent years, but then, it’s the same everywhere.

Ranoush is a great little Lebanese spot with a traditional menu and well-cooked flavourful food.
I’ve been several times and it’s consistent and straightforward which is great.
I will say the dishes are pricey in my opinion even accounting for the premium location.
Portion sizes are decent, and the service is great. Never had any problems getting a table.
It may be difficult to find parking nearby but it’s very close to a tube.
Would recommend if you like Lebanese food.

Had a blast late lunch here. The portion size is considerably big for us.. just share 1 lunch platter and 1 wrap between the 3 of us and we were super satisfied. Amazing food and wonderful service.
The meat was juicy and crispy with strong yet gentle flavour. The dippings were smooth and salad was super fresh.

Excellent service! The staff were super friendly, attentive, and we were helped the second we walked in the door. They were all very well dressed and clearly cared about their business and the service they offered. We ordered the afternoon tea which was very good, especially the desserts.
I think they could do with cleaning the floors more often, and give the restrooms a bit more attention. Other than that, we had a great time here, and would absolutely recommend this establishment to anyone who would like a traditional afternoon tea experience.

Cafe Concerto Kensington High Street was absolutely epic. What a wonderful restaurant and patisserie. We stopped for a cup of tea and a sweet treat and fell in love with Cafe Concerto. Such a beautiful display of cakes and patisserie in the window. We will definitely be back again and again. We are coming for “afternoon” tea next time. Robin our waiter was spectacular.

The Kensington Curry Club were pleased to hold their September meeting at Chakra Kensington. The most helpful manager devised a menu for the seven of us that included an inspired selection of starters followed by main courses that included a perfectly prepared ‘Old Delhi Butter Chicken’, Paneer Butter Masala, delicious Dal Makhani along with a range of accompaniments.
The service was immaculate and very friendly in the comfortable dining room….I expect that a number of our members will be returning to this delightful restaurant!

What a fantastic experience and wonderful cuisine. Excellent staff very knowledgeable brilliant atmosphere really comfortable, I ate everything and licked the plate clean. I had the chicken curry and it was delicious probably the best curry I’ve had in a long while. The mushroom rice you could eat on its own that’s how good it was. This is a boutique restaurant vey small but comfortable the atmosphere is very nice you will definitely have to book or be disappointed. This is probably the best Indian restaurant in London I was amazed how good the food was definitely I will be back there again and again. Fantastic exquisite food beautiful surroundings.

Another delicious meal at Chakra - this is our go-to local Indian restaurant, always exceptionally delicious - they’ve got some more unusual and different dishes on offer you don’t see everywhere else. I personally love the pani puri, Bombay ki Bhel Puri, fish moilee, rice, and rasmalai for pudding. Nice cocktails too. Decor and atmosphere is lovely too and has an decking outdoor seating area with heaters. Staff are always friendly and welcoming too :)

Whilst the service was impeccable here, the evening was slightly let down by the food. Somethings we had were excellent, Pani Puri, Avocado dumplings, Chatt (starters) however the mains didn't live up to the preclude to the meal. The panneer was watery and the lamb chops were mainly bone. The Desi salad wasn't chopped, it was sliced tomato, onion and cucumber which was just odd and disappointing. I expected a bowl of refreshing salad. The prawns were stand out, however there were only three. For the price, I would expect more. All in all, not a complete disaster, with a few tweaks this restaurant could be great, but right now, it's just not worth the premium prices they are charging.

The restaurant staff is friendly and attentive. Perhaps a bit more eye contact would be appreciated, but I understand it was busy. A minor issue is that I informed the waitress that my son has a mild egg allergy to ensure nothing with egg, but when we ordered dessert, they forgot, and my son had a slight reaction. It's manageable, but please be careful, as this could be a significant issue for people with food allergies. The rest was fine, and the food was tasty.

This was a nice place. It had a lovely vibe and the surroundings, with the other nice shops and cafes really added to it. The staff were friendly. The pepperoni pizza was nice, and I appreciated that they made this with vegan cheese. The drinks were very good too. They also accepted Tesco club card vouchers which was amazing too. I’d come back here.

It is a nice Italian restaurant in a nice area with a lovely staff. Our waitress, Marietta, was the most conscientious waitress we've ever seen, she asked about our allergies first and gave a throughout summary. She recommended Avocado, bacon salad and Caesar salad which were great and also the desserts. One of the staff recognized my Hungarian question and answered it in Hungarian. It was a big surprise!

Really enjoyed our lunch here. Staff were helpful and there was a good choice of food, all of which was very tasty. The place has an interesting casual vibe, which is relaxing, with wooden tables and a buzz of chatter. There is a tree in the centre, which was seasonally decorated, which added to the sense of place. My mushroom soup (soup of the day), came with two pieces of toasted sourdough, and was an excellent soup. My companions were equally happy with their options, the breakfast burrito, fish and chips and a cheese omelette. The bathrooms are downstairs, and I did like the sign on the doors, oddly a lady having to cross her legs.

Superb service and customer standards. Enjoyed a tasty burger, home made fries and a lovely Thai red curry. The mocktails were made with the same standards as normal cocktails sans alcohol. Pity I was too full to sample desserts but next time! Well priced too. Highly recommended.

Fantastic brunch spot in my neighborhood!
I came here after my early morning workout at 7am. The service was amazing—special thanks to Daniel for bringing such positive energy to the day!! I accidentally spilled water on the floor, but he handled it so easily with a great smile. He also recommended an app for buying movie tickets.
The light but classic jazz music takes your morning mood to another level. The food is delicious and satisfying.
BTW,I also finished my early morning conference call here, as the atmosphere is not loud but has an enjoyable vibe.
Highly recommended!!

Average experience at our first time visit! Dinner time. Firstly, the staff judged us because we didn’t have reservations, however, during our time, the only 10-15% table were full. Secondly, the waiting time was not good, longer than we expected. Mushroom soup was tasty, lamb steak was okaying. Pesto aubergine was not good, the aubergine does not enough, was kinda eating only pesto. Service charge can be seen and it is higher for this service.
