5 Star Rating I made this last minute booking through email and got the confirmation within minutes so that was a good start! Very responsive even over emails. The place is unpretentious but you get more than you would expect! I chose this place for a catch-up with my friends whom I haven’t seen for 10+ years! We were led downstairs which was a surprise at first but it was the perfect place and my friends really liked it too — what with it’s rustic charm and English food. The food was fantastic (we even had a vegetable dish on the house, thanks!). Service was superb and very patient with us when we delayed our order because one of my friends was running late. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit and will definitely come here again with my family next!

5 Star Rating Fantastic service, ambience, and food. The food itself is good, but it's really everything else that puts the experience over the top! It's a little pricey, but specially compared to other pubs, but in my opinion, completely worth it! I had: - Stilton mousse: fantastic! - Sausage and mash: good. The onion gravy had fantastic depth - Chocolate pot: dense, but silky

5 Star Rating My husband & I went to this restaurant to celebrate 🍾 my birthday. The servers were very polite and attentive with a warm, welcoming smile the moment we entered the restaurant. The food was full- flavoured, especially the crispy roast pork belly. We both truly enjoyed our meal. Giving us the most memorable experience. Highly recommended ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

5 Star Rating What a lovely place! The people were so friendly and the food was excellent! We found out this restaurant from the Infatuations magazine and it was perfect choice! We ate three course meals and all the food was great! We had duck liver pate and cheese and leek tart! As a starter, the portions were quite big. Pate was very creamy and well-rounded with butter and the fresh bread! But tart was a bit salty for me. Inside of pork belly was very chewy but smooth and the skin was crackling! Salmon was melted in the mouth!

3 Star Rating Super lovely, romantic, and rustic-feel venue. Individual booth seating is intimate and private. It is a perfect place for a romantic dinner date with candlelit tables. Sadly I didn’t like the food. Pâté was average. My French onion soup was too salty and the pork belly as main has less crackling and more fat layer. The chocolate pot was rich and sweet though. Three course set menu was about £37. With a glass of wine and an apple juice, it all came to about £80. Would I recommend it? For the venue, yes. For the food, no.

5 Star Rating We both had the steak and ale pie. I had chips and mushy peas, husband had mashed potatoes and garden peas. The food was piping hot and we didn’t have a long wait. Would recommend and when we come again, we will try to come in early enough to try the roast! The staff were polite and friendly. Husband booked via the web the night before and that went smoothly.

5 Star Rating I really miss Cote Brasserie in Glasgow so we were super happy to find this one in Kensington. Popped in for lunch and it was excellent. Just a really nice vibe and great food. We shared whitebait to start... super light and tasty. Then salad nicoise and caeser with french fries. A little glass of red wine! Lovely staff too. Thanks

5 Star Rating Stopped in for breakfast on a weekday. The server, Ula, was very friendly and welcoming. She knew we were on holiday so suggested mimosas. Perfect way to start our meal. Coffee was wonderful, smooth and strong. Pain au raisin was delish, granola with coconut yogurt and cherry preserves was just right, and the berries with yogurt were also fresh and delicious. We will be back! No rush, great service, relaxed, and it felt like home. Thank you.

5 Star Rating Genuinely some of the best nigiri my wife and I have had. Every piece was balanced perfectly and as their cheeky slogan states, skip the soy sauce here, as you definitely do not need it. The uni was melt in your mouth incredible with a touch of wasabi. To follow we both ordered the eight piece omakase which again, was incredible and left us wishing we had got the eleven piece. The service was perfect and everyone in the staff was so kind. 4 Star Rating Great location and an overall good pub, the service let it down massively. Disinterested staff, clearly didn't want to be here. No interaction when serving the customer, I ordered two drinks only to be handed one by my server who walked off to talk to her friend, I then had to ask where my second drink was, to be told someone else was making it. Pros Nice pub Cons Worst bar staff I've experienced

5 Star Rating Update: We decided to visit the pub again and really glad we did. The gammon steak and 8 oz. sirloin were superb. I would recommend these if you wish to try the classics. It wasn't busy at the time of our visit and staff gave us an overview of the Greene King brand. The place was clean and the ambience was relaxed. It was a pleasant experience, very many thanks to the team (huge credit to the chef for the fantastic meal). Previous review: Booked a table for 2, arrived only to be told kitchen was out of order which was fine as these things do happen, however, we received no notification that this was the case, otherwise, we wouldn't have made the journey. Interacted with 2 staff throughout, one was friendly and nice, one staff was a bit off with his customer-facing skills towards us. The decor is nice and I can only imagine the ambience when watching live sports on tele. I may visit again to give the place another chance to redeem itself and will definitely home in on customer-facing skills. I believe in second chances. In the meantime, 3 stars is fair.

5 Star Rating This is the best schwarma place. The meat, the sauces, the portion size to price ratio, and most importantly: the flavours. The food is freshly made and the kitchen area is visible, giving confidence in the food being made. They give you everything you need to create the perfect meal to your liking. The service is great, the workers and cooks are very friendly and are very hard working. I get that the dining area itself is a little cramped but what can you expect based on property size. What they've made is plenty spacious enough for families and couples. I don't even live in London, but I visit just to go here, it's the best one.

For a set up as a fast food with eat in option, this place is expensive. I would not be going there again. Google please alert me.

4 Star Rating Good. Had salmon rigatoni and then chocolate cake. Taste for both quite good. Used Tastecard so got 2-for-1 on all dishes which was good which made it good value. One surprising feature was the addition of service charge onto the bill at the end. This service charge addition is not mentioned anywhere on the menu. Hence I would recommend you to update your menus to clearly state that a service charge will be added on. This is surprising for a large chain like Prezzo.

3 Star Rating This was my first experience in Prezzo‘s in High Street Kensington unfortunately it will be my last as the staff did not seem receptive to me and the friend that I went with it took them 10 minutes to give us our menus where people that had come in later, receive their menus within 1 to 2 minutes one of the servers To an extreme disliking to me and actually removed my main course whilst I was still eating which was very upsetting there was one particular young lady Yazmin who was amazing great service wonderful personality but unfortunately she was borrowed from another Restaurant so was not a permanent member of staff I suspect there were some undertones of something else. I’ll leave that to your imagination but it’s extremely disappointing that an establishment is nice as the High Street Kensington Prezzo has two female members of staff that have such awful service skills

4 Star Rating The restaurant staff is friendly and attentive. Perhaps a bit more eye contact would be appreciated, but I understand it was busy. A minor issue is that I informed the waitress that my son has a mild egg allergy to ensure nothing with egg, but when we ordered dessert, they forgot, and my son had a slight reaction. It's manageable, but please be careful, as this could be a significant issue for people with food allergies. The rest was fine, and the food was tasty.

Secondly, the waiting time was not good, longer than we expected. Mushroom soup was tasty, lamb steak was okaying. Pesto aubergine was not good, the aubergine does not enough, was kinda eating only pesto. Service charge can be seen and it is higher for this service.
