We visited the Chesterfield Mayfair as part of a Hen party where we got Afternoon Tea.
The Afternoon Tea was sweet shop themed and because we were a bigger group we also got some champagne included.
The food was lovely. The sandwiches were delicious and the scones were light and fluffy. I really enjoyed the chocolate chip cookie scone!
Some of the cakes we weren't as sure on but it was nice to have a try of all of them.
We booked in advance so I would suggest doing that as it definitely got busy - especially if you have a big group.
There is a concierge to look after coats and big bags as well which was very helpful.

We had a great stay at The Chesterfield. Staff were very welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. The room was lovely with everything you could need. Location great for the west end and walks Into the parks. We definitely recommend staying here.

The afternoon tea experience was absolutely phenomenal! Incredible quality and amazing-tasting tea, food, and desserts. So happy we tried our first London tea experience here. On top of all that, the staff were all extraordinary! Our server, Sakib, was THE ABSOLUTE BEST! He made the afternoon 10 times better. Amazing experience all around and highly recommended.

I recently used The Library at the Chesterfield Mayfair hotel for a proposal, and I can’t express enough how magical the experience was. The ambiance of the room is truly enchanting—historical and inspiring, as if stepping into a real-life fairytale. It made the moment unforgettable!
The staff were absolutely incredible. They were not only super kind and supportive but also quick to respond to every request. A special shoutout to Samantha, who went above and beyond numerous times to ensure everything was perfect. She was exceptionally accommodating with all my asks, making sure I had the exact experience I envisioned.
The Chesterfield Mayfair is ideal for any kind of celebration, from birthdays and anniversaries to elegant afternoon cocktails in the courtyard—and of course, for proposals!
A huge thanks again to Samantha and Jasmine for making this day so memorable. I highly recommend this venue to anyone seeking a touch of magic for their special occasion!

Loved this hotel so much. It manages to bring old world charm with modern conveniences together. The staff were top notch and attentive from the moment you arrive to the moment you depart. I took my first solo trip last year in London, and was a little nervous about being in a foreign country as a solo female traveler. I mentioned this to the lady who checked me in (wish I could remember her name she was awesome!) she reassured me and later went out of her way to check in on me to make sure I had everything I needed. Enjoyed my stay so much I will be returning this September!

We recently visited Burger & Lobster for Lobster Day, and it was an absolutely wonderful experience from start to finish! The food was fantastic—our lobster was perfectly cooked and juicy, and the portion sizes were very reasonable. The oysters were incredibly fresh, and the croquette was out of this world—crisp on the outside and melt-in-your-mouth delicious on the inside.
To top it off, our waitress Karen was exceptional. She was attentive, welcoming, and made sure we had everything we needed throughout the meal. Her warmth and professionalism really enhanced our dining experience.

My husband and I stopped in for a quick lunch while visiting the area and are glad that we did. The service was really good and the food was great. We got the lobster and burger combo, the lobster croquettes, and the lobster mac and cheese and both were so good. We were seated quickly and we never wanted for anything. The waiter was amazing, I wish I could remember his name. The restaurant is cute and clean. Would highly recommend and will definitely be back when we are back in the area.

I had an exceptional experience at Burger and Lobster in Mayfair, thanks to the outstanding service from Lorand. He was attentive, friendly, and made sure our meal was perfect from start to finish. The lobster roll was incredibly fresh and bursting with flavor, while the burger was juicy and cooked to perfection. The chips were crispy and a great accompaniment to the meal. Overall, a fantastic dining experience that I highly recommend!

I had an amazing meal at the Burger & Lobster Mayfair branch! I celebrated my birthday there with my girlfriend, and the experience was truly exceptional. The food was fantastic, especially the lobster, which was cooked to perfection. The atmosphere was vibrant and welcoming, making it an ideal spot for a special occasion.
What made the evening even more memorable was the outstanding service. Our waiter was incredibly kind and attentive. He went above and beyond to ensure we had a wonderful time, even surprising me with a complimentary Crème Brûlée to celebrate my birthday. It was a delightful gesture that added a special touch to the night.
I highly recommend Burger & Lobster Mayfair for anyone looking for a fantastic dining experience. I can't wait to return!

Fantastic food and exceptional service. Had dinner with my family and had such a pleasant evening. The staff were extremely attentive and kind. Lorand was the most tremendous server I’ve ever had, he was so personable and made the entire dining experience wonderful . The food and cocktails were delicious. The plant based burger was also a great option for those with a plant based diet. I look forward to returning.

We had a wonderful night here. Food was delicious service was excellent.
Authentic French food perfect for dressing up nights. My favourites are beef tartare and beef wellington, and oysters are so fresh. French onion soup is surprisingly good. If you're looking for wine, they have really great Chablis.
Location is perfect just opposite green park station.

Great service, great food and great environment. If you want to find a place for dating or for business lunch, here would be the perfect place.
Recommend “English breakfast” and all the deserts. Can’t describe how good they are.
Ps. Smelled the fish and chips on other clients’ table and it really smell so so so good!! Will throw a try next time for sure!!!

Decent choice if you have something to go to in Mayfair. They have a fixed menu until 6:30pm, 3 courses for £35.
With drinks on-top it came to around £65 per person.
We the chicken liver parfait, Asparagus, Salmon, risotto, Chicken Kiev and blueberry cheesecake. All were reasonably tasty.
A la carte is average prices for the type of venue & area.
Service was good. Venue got a bit noisy. When busy.

Elegant establishment!
The Asian restaurant is a cool and busy place. Service was quick and professional. The food was outstanding. We got to choose our fresh seafood. We went for the lobster and the red sniper which was prepared by the chef to our liking and tasted just delicious and was full of flavour. Great food and wine menu although it was very pricey. The overall experience was amazing!

One of the good places to be in. The food kind of dishes are very good and delicious. Well organized from door to door reception are even kind ladies are taking the orders to your table.
We re- ordered some dishes and were so good. The service is in a swift process mood.
Good vibes and atmosphere so positive totally deserved the high ratings from all audience members.
Keep up the good work guys.

The food is delicious, but the receptionist at the door not at the reception table lack of hospitality and didn’t show any effort in welcoming us. Otherwise, the waitress and other staff were great. It was crowded and we had to wait a while for our food.

Wonderful experience at Novikov Asia, plenty of halal options and the staff were so friendly. I would say the small plates are so much better than the main plates as we enjoyed them more. The sushi and dim sum definitely need to be at the top of your list. It is very busy and you need to book in advance to get a table, the aesthetics match perfectly with the theme of the place. The drinks were also very lovely!

The food and atmosphere was definitely the highlight of our evening. We were amazed by the quality of the food and would definitely go back.
We did feel the service was a little lacking, but that could be chalked down to the staff already having a long evening of service.

Booked a private room for an afternoon tea. Fabulous service and food. Couldn’t recommend it enough. The room was beautiful and the staff couldn’t do enough to help us.

Attended a work away day there earlier today, gr8 location & good facilities in the room we were in, however I felt that once the event was over they couldn't wait to get us out of the room quick enough! Felt that we were shouted at to vacate the room as they had another event, to me they shouldn't have booked another event straight after ours as you would have needed time to get the room ready.

Great food and service. I had the beef carpaccio to start, which was one of the best I’ve ever had. Stone bass for the main and pistachio eclair for dessert were lovely.

The food was alright. The restaurant was almost empty and the waiting times were simply not reasonable for the amount of people on the premises. The employees were just taking too long to serve the food. Some customers were clearly being paid too much attention while others simply being neglected. Perhaps you should not judge a book by its cover.

So the fork had a deal for food and we wanted to try it out as we haven't been to this location. It's a hidden gem of a location which you would walk past if you didn't know about it. I love the decorations they have used it feels very exotic and fun.
We ordered the calamari which was lovely and fresh.
Baked vacherin which was delicious a rich cheese that is messy but god does it task amazing.
Miso aubergine which the miso sauce is so tasty and it's difficult to just have a bit of it. The chicken supreme it was so tender to eat and every bite just again makes you want more. The lobster pasta had that rich flavour and my girlfriend loved it. We shared it was half price so we went to town. The desserts are my favourite here. We had the millefleur which the filling is so lovely and you wish they just put it in a bowl for you to scoop. The pear tart had this home made goodness that reminds you of that skilled aunt that made amazing sweet goodness. The chocolate and coffee cake wasn't that rich and it was okay. They did a valentine's chocolate cake which was amazing I wish they did it again.
Service was wonderful and they took excellent care of us. I highly recommend here and look on the fork app for deals and with the receipt they give you 20% off.
If you found my review helpful please press like. Thank you so much.

The least tasty salad I've ever tried was at Aubaine Maifaire London. It consisted of five wedges of Chinese cabbage coated in a tangy white sauce, two slices of overcooked and dried-out chicken breast (2 cm * 10 cm) without salt but with a strong bitterness of black stale pepper, one anchovy - just one! - and three very thin slices of Parmesan measuring 1.5 cm * 1.5 cm. It was an entirely dry and flavorless salad with a bitter taste. When I asked for additional white sauce, the waiter brought sour mayonnaise. I never knew that Caesar salad could contain mayonnaise 🫢. The price for this displeasure was £22!!! I would have liked to request a refund, but the situation didn't allow for it. Have a good day, everyone!

Very welcoming atmosphere, security on door were great and polite, lady who seated us was lovely and helped us with our request which we were very grateful for. However, our waiter was very rushed, from the moment we sat down he said we only had 2 hours so had to take our order ‘now’. I respect the time frame, but didn’t want to feel rushed. The food was amazing, came out quick. We ordered a side each for our main, but you only need one! The atmosphere was amazing, We felt very lucky to be seated at the front, thank you again for this. The entertainment was perfect. We also got a lovely birthday plate, although we were charged for this, which we weren’t aware of? When we paid, at the end of our 2 hours, we asked to move to the bar to finish our drinks and the waiter said ‘if you can find a seat yes’ and we have never had to move our own drinks, especially at a place of this standard. Overall, the rushed service let us down slightly, but this can be overlooked as we loved our experience and the food. Thank you team x

Fantastic experience, as always! We absolutely enjoyed every cocktail recommended to us from the new menu. My personal favourite was Ruby with hints of beetroot sweetness. Every drink is prepared with extra attention to details. The menu is full of delicious, sometimes unexpected but always delicious and elegant combinations of flavours. Every cocktail is a masterpiece. We also tried the pistachio fondant and, oh my, it was incredible. The service was second to none. We were looked after all the time. I’d recommend this place for any occasion. We were lucky enough to also experience live music that day. We’ll be back again, thank you Quaglinio’s.

Nice, classy atmosphere. Live music was very good.
Special mention to Marco, our fantastic, attentive waiter.
The food - although beautifully presented - was average in terms of taste, and some dishes were disappointing (pumpkin risotto with strong cheese and a slab of shitake mushroom which was cooked with seaweed in order to taste of fish).
The main reason for 3 stars is the very slow dinner service: seated at 19.30, starters at 20.30, and the following courses spaced an hour apart.

I recently visited Qaglinos, and it was a delightful experience from start to finish. We initially booked a spot at the bar for drinks, and after a few delightful cocktails, we decided to extend our evening by booking a table for dinner. The ambiance was fantastic, enhanced by a lovely live band that created a perfect backdrop for the night.
The food was impressive, offering a variety of delicious options that suited our tastes. Overall, the atmosphere was warm and inviting, making it an ideal place for a night out. I highly recommend Qaglinos for anyone looking to enjoy good food, great drinks, and live music in a lovely setting.

An entertaining evening was had with great music and an amazing ambience. Rated 4* because of limited selection and pricing but I know it’s St James, London so that was expected. Waiting staff were friendly and cooperative always on hand with our orders and when we needed some more drinks as well. Chose to celebrate a special moment and they gave complimentary macaroon which was delicious.

My family wandered in here while looking for a place to eat after a long day of being tourists. The food and service was excellent.
Jon was our server. My dad and I had the steak and ale pie and my sister got the sirloin steak. The food was so tasty. I really enjoyed the berry cider he recommended and so did my family (they had to get one after having a sip of mine).
Had the sticky toffee pudding for desert with ice cream. It was nice and quiet and not super crowded. If I’m ever back in London again I’ll make it a point to visit.

This is another pub underneath the Greene King umbrella. We visited another pub under the Greene king in Bath, UK ( Saracens head) and LOVED it. The Kings Arms did not disappoint.
The menu is the same as the menu in Bath, UK but each pub is allowed to create their own, specials menu. Like all their pubs we visited so far, you're greeted with the classic, British/Victorian pub style. The service was prompt and friendly. And just like the Saracens Head, the food was fantastic. Having been in the UK for 3 weeks, I was craving a little bit of home, so I ordered the loaded nachos and they were amazing. Better than what I get in the states, although a much smaller portion. My wife got the Pulled Beef Rib Cottage Pie and it was very good too. I'm starting to believe that you can't go wrong with a pub under the Greene King umbrella if you're looking for great food and service.
Restaurant is clean. Bathrooms are clean. Food is great. Service is great. I would come back here again and recommend this place if you're near the Buckingham Palace.
