It was a small but nice hotel. Most of the staff were very friendly, especially Eman. The hotel was quiet and peaceful.
I booked a deluxe room, which was a reasonable size—slightly small, but the space under the bed was a brilliant idea for storing luggage. The bathroom could use some renovation, but it wasn’t bad. Unfortunately, the rooms did not have a fridge, even though they were deluxe.
Overall, my stay was very good. However, the biggest downside was that the reception wasn’t available 24/7. I went multiple times at different hours and found no one there. Additionally, when I requested a dental kit in the morning, they told me to pick it up from the reception myself. This was inconvenient because I had to go downstairs in my pajamas, without brushing my teeth, just to get it. Room service should have delivered it to my room..

We've stayed at this hotel 3 times before, and then we booked slightly bigger rooms with a view to the park.
This time we booked the standard double room, with the view to the backyard. This room is quite noisy because of the ventilation system on the outside. The room is very small, and the bed is only 190cm long (my height is 191cm). It's supposed to be a 4 star hotel, but that's the English standard. In Norway this is a maximum 3 star hotel, I would say 2 star.
We've never paid this much for this hotel before either, approximately £830 for 6 nights!! Unfortunately that's the prices in London now.
Thank you for your answer. We're still in the hotel for 3 more nights, so maybe you can upgrade us for free?

All staff were incredibly friendly and helpful during my stay. Everyone in my group felt very welcomed and any problems we had were solved very quickly, especially the restaurant manager who managed to serve us cooked breakfast at 5:30am. Location was great as it's a 3 min walk to the nearest tube on the central line. Will stay here again on my next trip to London.

A friend of mine recommended this place. I went here with my husband to have our lunch. We ordered half roasted duck (Cantonese style). And my husband said it was the best roasted duck he ever had in London ever. He loved it so much he ordered one more portion for himself. We also ordered the morning glory, it was also delicious. The place is cozy and the servers were very accommodating. And the toilets are very clean!!! I appreciate them for keeping the toiles clean and lovely.

The original branch of Four Seasons Roast Duck in central London is renowned for its succulent and juicy roast duck. The duck pairs perfectly with pickled vegetables and chili oil, served alongside steaming hot rice for a satisfying meal.
The roast duck features a crispy skin with a generous layer of fat. The stir-fried vegetables are delicious and offer a nice variety. However, the price of plain rice is slightly on the higher side.
The owner and staff provide excellent service, making for a pleasant dining experience overall.

We had to go & find out for ourselves if fourseasons was the ‘real deal’
or just another ‘influenced hype’.
What we had 👀:
S&S Chicken Hong Kong style - £14.30
Large Egg Fried Rice (no veg) - £11
Lobster With Crispy Noodles - £66
Chicken Chow Mein (no veg) - £12.80
Whole Special Roast Duck - £35.80
Barbecue Pork (char siu) - £15.20
Salt & Chilli Calamari - £17.50
Salt & Chilli Prawn - £17.50
Crispy Pork Belly - £15.20
Mini Spring Rolls - £7.80
Soft Shell Crab - £10.80
(Not including drinks or service charge)
What we thought 💭:
This spot has been hyped so much and we finally got to see why, this was hands down THE BEST roast duck, char siu & crispy belly pork we’ve had in London, I see why they’re famous for these 3 roast meats, 10 out of 10 in that department.
The sides were all spot on as-well. The rice, the chow-mein everything just tasted so fresh.
The salt and chilli prawns and calamari were 10/10.
The deep fried soft shell crab wasn’t for us, it was more to do with the texture of the crab rather than the actual taste, but the kids loved it 😅.
The whole lobster & noodles was okay, you do get a lot of meat in the lobster I’ll give them that, and a lot of noodles to share out, but we just wasn’t fond of the ginger & spring onion sauce it came in, I wish we chose one of the other options of sauce to have the lobster in. It wasn’t bad at all, it just became a bit overpowering after a while. But that was the sauce option recommended to us because we had kids, and the other options we were told, had a kick to them 🌶️. But it was still enjoyable and like I said the lobster was really meaty which was good.
We most definitely will be returning.
Four seasons is definitely a new family favourite.

I came here only for barbecue duck and it is really good. Duck is juicy and I think it is better than another branch in China town.
Shop is quite busy during 8pm.
They take order quite quick but a bit long time to take a bill.
Seats inside are very packed.

The best roast duck in London. If you don't know about this place, or hear about it from someone, chances are you will never try it. Absolutely give this gem a go. My mother used to go to this place 30 years ago when she was a student in London, and the food and service have only improved. Food is delicious, authentic, and portions are hearty.

Nice place. One of the only pubs I've been to that has a pool table. Just a pity that the barstaff wanted to talk on her phone instead of listening to my order that she got wrong.

Central London prices for pints do apply, but the staff here makes up for it by being both personable and fast. I have been coming here for months as competitors are inferior for lack of fun vibe.
I love coming here for the big games as they have a projector and 5 other TVs. Best for live sports in the area, especially football. I think they do poker nights a couple times a week, and they have a pool table too. Quickly becoming my local.
Please be nice to the staff, people tend to be aggressive during sporting events in England. A real great hangout for those that are happy to share the space.

Best atmosphere for watching football and having a pint. Best food of all pubs owned by the Greene King. Conveniently located on Moscow Rd. a few streets from Bayswater underground station (Circle and District lines) and Queensway station (Circle line). Friendly bar staff and comfortable atmosphere.

I went to other pubs in London but I kept returning to this one. The staff, the pints, the food, the entertainment, and the atmosphere are all excellent. I was a tourist who met locals and made friends quickly. You seriously want to experience a real London pub, visit this one. This American will be back. PS, try the bangers.

The atmosphere here is unmatched—better than anything else around. They host live music from Wednesday to Sunday, creating the perfect vibe for any night out.
Pet friendly. No cash!
The staff is amazing—super friendly and attentive. They genuinely care about your experience, checking in to make sure you’re comfortable without letting things get out of hand. They’re also incredibly mindful of creating a safe environment, always staying alert to prevent any harassment. It’s a place where you can truly relax and enjoy yourself.

A very lovely location with great views, good fish & chips, and fresh flowers at all the tables. Staff was very nice and you could easily get someone's attention. Only complaint is that the cottage pie seemed a bit microwaved in how the heat was distributed.

It’s a great place to hear live music 4 days a week, Thursdays to Sundays. The Steve Young duo on Sunday October 14 was excellent. They sang and played the violin and guitar and lots of the patrons joined in. A fun time! The bar doesn’t take cash so you have to use your credit card.
This was my first visit and I didn’t order any food, just had one drink.

Nice place a short walk from Bayswater station.
I have come here for a lunar new year dinner the last two year, and the food has always been great.
As you’d expect, they have a huge selection and variety of dishes available, and I have never been disappointed eating here.
The service is nice enough; pretty much what you would expect – efficient and to the point.

Had a small wedding dinner in one of their private rooms. Not only their roast duck is superb, their customer service is top notch! Their roast duck is still one of the best ones in London even after so many years. I used to come here as a student and after 10 over years, they are still as good as I remembered. The skin is super crispy and the meat is succulent. All the other dishes I’ve had are excellent as well. The staffs were lovely and super friendly. Goldmine is definitely my go to Chinese restaurant whenever I visit London.

This chinese food here was good, but I am still debating whether it is worth the price as I have tasted better chinese that cost a lot less, however the service and the atmosphere is a 9/10. My bill came to £42.80 for noodles, sweet &sour chicken and prawn rolls. The portions were huge.
There was a big group of us and our waiter served us well, he was courteous, patient and helpful. This restaurant is pretty big, We were sat in the upstairs area which was sectioned off from the main restaurant, it was intimate; there was another family sat in the corner of the room but they soon left, so it felt like we had a private section. This sectioned off part of the restaurant is perfect for a birthday group of 10, graduation, anniversary, birthday or private dinner.

It was a very cozy place, a bit outskirts of Notting Hill. The food was fascinating, and the service was great. We asked if we can share some plates, then the crew (Probably his name is Fakhir) even divided the plate in two separate plates! I will definitely come back when I come around Notting Hill again!

I had such a lovely time at this restaurant today for lunch. From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and the service was exceptional.
A special mention to Charmaine, who took care of my table with such kindness and professionalism. She was attentive, friendly, and made sure everything was perfect throughout the meal.
The food was absolutely delicious! I had the spaghetti with meatballs, which was rich, comforting, and full of flavour. I was also treated to a free vegan Margherita pizza, which was a delightful surprise—light, fresh, and incredibly tasty. To top it all off, the cookie dough dessert was pure indulgence—warm, gooey, and the perfect sweet ending to a great meal.
Thank you to Charmaine and the Chef(s) for making this such a wonderful experience. I’ll definitely be coming back!

We recently celebrated my son’s birthday at this amazing Greek restaurant, and I cannot say enough good things about it. From the moment we walked in, we were treated with warmth and top-notch service. The food was absolutely delicious—authentic Greek flavours that were perfectly prepared and beautifully presented.
The service was beyond exceptional. The staff went out of their way to make our evening special, with everyone being attentive and friendly. A special mention to Tina, who went above and beyond by storing our birthday cake in the restaurant’s freezer from Friday until we needed it on Tuesday!
Her kindness and attention to detail really stood out, and we couldn’t be more grateful.
The restaurant has been around since 1966, and it’s easy to see why. The owner clearly cares about both his guests and the quality of the experience. It felt like we were part of something truly special.
If you’re looking for incredible food, warm hospitality, and a memorable experience, I highly recommend this gem. We will absolutely be back!!

Made me miss my side of the world. Atmosphere was buzzing. Place was fully booked. Make sure you book in advance especially on a weekend.

Halepi, a Greek restaurant in cosy, family-run taverna style. The restaurant goes back to 1966 and yet managed to maintain its standard and quality. I can personally vouch for its consistency over the years, having visited it in the 90s and again recently. The quality of their food remains impeccable. The restaurant is famous for its lamb shoulder which has be pre-ordered. The restaurant is tiny and tables are next to each other, but if you are looking for delicious food and friendly service, then this is the place to be.
However, when I posted the photos on Instagram, someone noted that there is a hair and the chocolate cake.

I went there in an autumn wet day for lunch. Surprisingly, many tables are seated. Thought the ginger lobster noodles is a bit expensive compared to other dishes, it is worth trying. Staff are helpful, and hospitality. We ordered only two dishes, Ginger Lobster Noodles and Drunken Chicken, with a bowl of steamed rice. That is sufficient for a couple.

Restaurant is located near Hyde Park London. It was busy when we got there for dinner but they managed to get us a table. We have the popular ginger lobster noodle, roasted duck, asparagus in broth and hot and sour soup. We were wowed by the very flavourful lobster noodle. Duck was good but I the asparagus was a little bland for me. However I love the well balanced hot and sour soup. Highly recommend to those seeking for authentic Chinese food. The server is attentive and funny. Enjoyed the meal

11/11/2024-Monday. I have not been to this restaurant since the pandemic. Today, my husband and I decided to have lobster noodles lunch in here. The quality of the lobster noodles is still the same, excellent standard. Sadly, the severs were a bit downside compared to the previous team. I hope, in the future, the servers focus on customers rather than grouping themselves at the bar counter/chatting among themselves with their back facing to the tables. It is quite difficult to get the server's attention when service is needed. Overall, I still give 5 star rating as I feel the kitchen staff do works very hard. The food that served out was pretty quick. I would still recommend to others if their craving for lobster noodles. Highly recommended for lobster noodle dish ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

One of our son's and daughter-in-laws go to pubs when they visit London ... we were very happy that they introduced us to this lovely pub with great atmosphere and ambience. The food, Chicken Bacon Avocado Sandwich, Chicken Schnitzel and Fish Finger Sandwich were all delicious, well prepared and presented, the accompanying chips were crisp and tasty. The Sticky Toffee for desert was served warm with creamy vanilla ice cream and the flavor was excellent, actually the best I've ever had. The service was friendly and very helpful. Prices were reasonable for the quality of the product. We were grateful to share this excellent experience with them and thankful that they shared one of there favorite spots with us.
