Vancouver Maritime Museum

Vancouver Maritime Museum in Vanier Park is home to the St. Roch historic RCMP vessel

Located a short bus ride from downtown Vancouver in Vanier Park, the Vancouver Maritime Museum houses a historic ship used by the Royal Canadian Mounted Police to patrol the artic. It also features many intricate models of historic ships, a Children's Maritime Discovery Centre, and a collection of maritime art.

The museum is also just a short walk from the H.R. MacMillan Space Centre Planetarium and the Museum of Vancouver. You can see all three attractions with a Vanier Park Explore Pass for $30.00 per Adult or $24.00 for Youth and Seniors.

From Burrard SkyTrain Station take the Burrard Street exit and catch either the #2 or #22 Macdonald going south on Burrard Street at the stop directly in front of the station. Take either bus to the Cypress Street Stop on Cornwall Avenue (less that 10 minutes). Walk back along Cornwall Ave. to Chestnut Street and go left. Vanier Park and the Museum of Vancouver are straight ahead and the Vancouver Maritime Museum just a little ways to the west.
