The Vancouver Lookout

Vancouver Lookout is a 360° observation deck that sits on top of Harbour Centre near the downtown waterfront

Vancouver Lookout offers up a panoramic overview of much of Vancouver from it's 360° observation deck 430 feet above the city. The view is especially good towards Stanley Park and the North Shore Mountains as well as east towards Burnaby. The views to the south are somewhat screened by other tall buildings, but still very good.

The lookout is located right below the Top of Vancouver Revolving Restaurant on top of the 28 story Harbour Centre office tower. Access is via a quick ride up the outside wall via a windowed elevator. While this attraction does charge admission, it is a good option for getting a great view of the city, especially if you don't have time to leave the downtown area. Other options that offer some good views from a high vantage point include Burnaby Mountain Conservation Area and Simon Fraser University and Queen Elizabeth Park however these are both outside the Downtown core.
