Take a trip back in time at the Burnaby Village Museum
Burnaby Village Museum is located at the northeast corner of Deer Lake Park. in the centre of Burnaby. This 10 acre site is a fun place for the whole family to explore. In convincing fashion, it will transport you back to nearly 100 years.
The village is a replica of a 1920's BC Electric Railway tram stop community complete with homes, shops and businesses. Staff are dressed in period costumes to add to the immersion. There is an ice-cream parlour that offers light meals and snacks. The museum is also home to a beautifully restored 1912 Carousel which visitors can ride as part of their visit to the museum.
Nearby you will find the Burnaby Art Gallery, Shadbolt Centre for the Arts, and fine dining at the Hart House Restaurant.
