Not gonna lie the 26oz prime bone in rib eye was alright. The meat by itself was juicy and chewy as expected for a medium rare+ . But it was seasoning which wasn't up to my standards. It was a little saltier than expected. Not only mine but my date's one too. As a fine dining restaurant it was hard to believe that they made this mistake. However ,overall our dining experience was good because of the service and the atmosphere inside.

Took my friend here for a date night. The staff here made us feel important and taken care of and so kind. The food had amazing flavour, opening palettes I never knew had! Atmosphere made us feel like royalty. Highly recommend.

Best steak i ever had. Excellent customer service and great ambiance. Highly recommend for steak lovers. Parking is little difficult but they do have valet parking.

Amazing service, very busy on a Saturday night. Steak was ribeye medium rare, slightly overdone and honestly nothing special, especially for the price. Had much better steak before at other steak houses in Toronto.

Went to mortons to celebrate a birthday. I had never been before, so i was looking forward to the experience. Our waitress was amazing, attentive, friendly and answered all our questions with ease. Our drinks were well prepared and delicious. The food was outstanding, from the shrimp cocktail and crab salad to the steaks, lobster mac'n'cheese, creamed spinach and onion rings. We were very much looked after. The only reason i gave the atmosphere 4 stars was because of the lighting, i found it quite dark/dim. This however will not stop me from going back again.

Hemingways restaurant is top notch. Relaxed environment, friendly servers, awesome bartenders and excellent food. We had the following: Ernest Ribs platter, Linguine Shrimp pasta and Snapper Hemingway. Each was tasty. Everyone we have brought to dine here has enjoyed their meals and drinks. My wife and I have always enjoyed our visits there. Kid, elderly and handicapped friendly. Lots of free parking and there is a nice movie theater within the same plaza.

This restaurant has such a nice ambience! It's beautiful. The main floor has lovely green walls and bookshelves to give it a sort of comfy library feel to it. And the upstairs patio is gorgeous with windows all around in the cold to keep you warm. The food tasted great, but it was a little more pricey than some places. The nachos were loaded with toppings, but a little light on the cheese. However the buttermilk crispy chicken sandwich was to die for. Very filling, great services, amazing vibe!

Food is good. Sticky pudding dessert was awesome. Ambiance/atmosphere is definitely geared towards australian football fans. We went on a day when a game was on. It was so rowdy I couldn't hear myself think let alone have a conversation. So unless that's your crowd, I would avoid game times. Would probably come back and ask for a table away from TVs 😂

Hemingways is a great time! Being New Zealand themed, there is a bunch of unique decor and menu items that differentiate it from your average pub. I've done trivia here as well, which was a blast! I would recommend trying the lamb burger for something a little unique. I will be back for more trivia and the patio!

We had dinner at Hemingway's last night. We did not have a reservation but ended up getting seated right away. Even though it was early, the restaurant was very busy. The staff were very helpful. We ordered drinks and an appetizer. The drinks came out quickly followed by the sirloin bites. They were tender and flavorful. We then ordered our entrees. I received my soup and it was delicious! It was a bit of a wait for our entrees but the food made up for the delay. It was all amazing. We passed our plates around so everyone could try the food. We had jambalaya, sirloin steak and the jerk chicken burrito in a bowl. Kudos to the kitchen - the flavors were all spot on! We saved room for dessert and had the cheesecake and pavlova. Again, a wonderful job! It was great to see the staff work together to tackle the large groups and large volume of people during the holiday! Great teamwork!

I had the pleasure of creating a flower installation for a wedding client with my business The Moody Blooms last summer. The operations staff were super helpful and loading in was relatively easy. The spaces available for a private function are filled with natural light and the decor/ furniture has a contemporary feel. This was my favorite venue to flower in the city. Thanks for having us! There is a elevator to access the restaurant space on the second floor. I also had a vendor meal during this lovely wedding and it was delicious.

I enjoyed the second floor more than the first floor. The exhibits on the first floor was a bit all over the place. The exhibits in the middle of the room had all the items' description on the left hand side, so you'd be breaking your neck looking back and forth to see the item being described. Some displays are placed waaaay too low on the bottom. The second floor was better organized, better lit, and more interesting (imo). Their website wouldn't let me buy a ticket (clicking on I agree to the terms wouldn't register), so had to go and buy it in person but at least I can get a Presto discount. The floors could've been cleaner and I saw the occasional fingerprints on the glass displays (this was during a working day so not much foot traffic). All that said, it was fun and informative to take in the historical tidbits about Chinese/Japanese/European ceramics/porcelains. You can easily spend above 2 hours if you take your time reading.

Wonderful museum with a variety of exhibits. Excellent explanation of the works in all areas. We spent 2 hours and could easily spent two more enjoying this facility. Please don't skip the basement level as the pictures I included are of an absolutely beautiful piece worth taking some time to examine closely.

This is really a fascinating place to visit specially if you appreciate ceramics and pottery. The collections is a wide array of items from eastern to western cultures. A must try for every Torontonian and tourist.

Recently visited for the first time since I was a little kid: I was a bit bored when I was a tyke, but as an adult, I can say the Gardiner is a real hidden gem of Toronto public galleries/museums. The collection is big enough that it could offer at least 2 hours of entertainment (for a slow peruser like myself, at least) and covers a wide slice of ceramic traditions around the world. I was particularly blown away by the mesoamerican ceramics, it's hard to believe some of them are centuries old! So long story short, if you're an artsy type this museum is a must-visit, although maybe leave the little ones at home

Always great service and atmosphere is good, busy not obnoxiouly loud. Even when there’s celebrities dining here the vibe is still relaxed. A frequent spot for me been going for years and they are always super friendly. I wasn’t feeling too well this last visit so I think my taste buds were off but I wrote this review because I always forget to… I love getting their pasta and seafood and their non-alcoholic or alcoholic drinks are amazing! I’m still acquiring the taste for mussels however I think it was good but I'm not an expert so definitely try it. I have had their calamari too and it's amazing!! This pasta dish was recommended and it was just as good as the server said it would be I just forgot what it's called Bon Appetit!

Ordered a simple Arugula salad and added chicken and asked to not add the fruits/cranberries toppings…of course when I got the food, it came with fruits on top so I had to send it back. Then they removed 90% of the cheese too! I didn’t want to send it back again…started to eat and noticed the Arugula was not even fresh. Showed to the waitress, but I really didn’t have the time to wait for another salad! It was lunch time, so it wasn’t even during their busy hours!

Went out for a date night a few weeks ago and loved this place! The atmosphere and food is lovely overall. The staff are super friendly and despite us not making a reservation, we were accommodated. We shared a salad, calamari and a pizza between the two of us and with the drinks we had, it was all we needed. The calamari is a popular dish and I could see why! The squid is tender, lightly battered and the sauce on the side is excellent! The tomato salad we had was simple but fresh and delicious. And finally the pizza we had was the gorgonzola and honey pizza. The gorgonzola was toned down with sweetness from the fig and honey. We felt the pizza was ok the sweeter side of our liking however gorgonzola is not everyone's cup of tea but I would have enjoyed a little more sharpness of this wonderful cheese. Last but not least, the cocktails here are lovely. They're a bit on the sweeter side but very enjoyable! We tried the espresso martinis, the lemonchello spritz and so on. Very enjoyable evening and I was happy that the restaurant had a more homey than pretentious vibe. Pricing was not the worst either. It came to $200 for the two of us with 3 rounds of cocktails. Drink s are expensive anywhere you go. Definitely recommend!

One of the TOP Italian restaurants in the city. Raymond the owner is the most gracious host. - Orecchiette with Induga sausage was one of the BEST noodles I’ve ever had. Smooth. Soft, not chewy at all. The meat was some of the best I’ve had with pasta - Rigatoni w/Ala Vodka - sauce was UNREAL. - Calamari was the BEST I’ve had personally. Smooth, soft, and not chewy. Light & flaky breading. - Arancini was great! - Lamb skewers were a necessary appetizer - grilled salmon so buttery and flaky

Me and my group went on friday night. The place was small but had great great selection of gelatos !! Staff was super friendly and working so hard. We tasted a few and they were all so great. Fig, peach, pistachio and black sesame (recommended by the staff) was my favourites! We had 4 scoops cup and it was worth the money. I wish they renovate this place better so it’s more engaging and looks like a gelato shop. The vibe was more like a quick pizza take out shop.

They had a good variety to choose from. It was super yummy but my choices were a bit too sweet for me. It was a nice space to sit in and chat with my friend. I also loved their wall of flags from around the world.

the pistachio definitely the most memorable flavour, overall a decent gelato. the texture is quite creamy / however it melts quickly. I was not disappointed with my cup but it cannot compete with mizzica, however if you’re in this side of town, I recommend you choose this spot for good quality gelato. the space could use a rebrand as it’s quite dated considering it’s in yorkville.

The cashier was super helpful and let me sample a couple flavors. She informed me the front row is all dairy free. The lime e coriandolo was my favorite, a yummy spin on a virgin mojito! Also they have indoor and outdoor seating

Too good I cry 😭 The girl working at the time was so sweet. She explained all my questions and recommended really good flavours. I got the pistachio and raspberry which were recommended, and I gotta tell you their pistachio gelato is the best pistachio gelato I’ve had. I really mean it. Raspberry was also really good as well. It was also cute and nice of her to put the raspberry on top! I would come here often now that spring is approaching! Go try their pistachio!!!

Celebrated my anniversary here and had Thomas as our server. He was wonderful and treated us very kindly. I was surprised that there was only actually 1 jumbo shrimp but it was yummy along with the risotto it was served with. The steak was cooked a bit over my asking, but not too much. The louvre was a unique and tasty dessert as well. I would come here again. :)

Under radar lounge bar connected to a hotel with a great ambience and service. We recommend their chocolate cake which was a generous portion while being extremely tasty. Prices are also reasonable for a nice spot in the upscale Yorkville neighborhood.

A cozy bar, a good and relatively quiet setting for after work drinks with friends. It is part of the hotel, but you forget it is, as the bar is separated from the lobby.

We enjoyed our time sitting outside in the evening. You can see the stars. Food was good, service amazing. Good list of drinks too. Even a kids menu. The whole family enjoyed themselves. I recommend the pistachio mousse for desert.

This McDonald's was busy during the lunch rush, yet customers appeared to be receiving their orders promptly. The restaurant was clean and seemingly spotless, despite the high foot traffic. The staff seemed happy and genuinely enjoyed working at this location. I ordered a Medium Fries with no salt and a Buffalo Chicken Wrap, both of which met expectations. Its proximity to the ROM is another positive aspect.

This is an excellent McDonald’s as far as downtown Toronto goes. Staff are the best usually! 98% of the time. However, It does say open 24 hours 7 days a week but on 5 occasions it closed!!! Two times asked to just GET OUT with 5 min notice and three times just closed. Website indicates 24/7 and they themselves claim to be 24/7 min person and with signage. But they do shut down for dine in suddenly. No notice and they falsely advertise 24/7 Actually that’s just not true. The manager was very rude and aggressive when he asked me to get out. I just got my food.

I was with a group of 8 so did family style set menu, eight different dishes incl Dessert, they were like sugar coated fried cheesecake timbits) was phenomenal. All the dishes were delectable. Especially the chicken tacos!! Fantastic place . Highly recommend this location. Cute Back patio as well. Gets very busy So definitely make a reservation.. Paid parking lots on either side in Yorkville.

Dinner food is ok but not impressive, and really small in portion. I can see the presentation is trying to match fine dining but not quite there yet — on the other hand the portion just makes it less appealing than restaurants on a similar level. Beef steak is very rare, and I don’t see the point of bringing the steak in stick and taking it off in front of the customer… Sea bass is quite expensive but honestly tastes common. The donut dessert is quite underwhelming. I am maintaining 4 stars mainly because of the lamb baklava — well deserved.

First visit to this place in Yorkville. We were seated in the back where they have a beautiful patio space. The ambiance is lovely and serene and I imagine it's lovely in the summer time. However we were here on a chilly, windy night but there are enough heaters to warm the place up nicely. We happened to be at the restaurant during happy hour and they have a decent menu! A few appetizers and cocktails are more than enough for an enjoyable meal. We tried the falafel, the zaatar shoestring fries, green chickpea hummus and while nothing really stood out, they were all good. I felt the fries didn't quite have the zaatar flavor and were a little bit on the salty side. The Falafels were excellent. The food hit the spot but the cocktails were sublime. To finish up we had the pistachio 'tiramisu' which was incredible! The light Philo pastry paired with the pistachio cream was light and delicious! Definitely a must try. The only not so great part about our evening is that we were seated under the staircase, like the Harry Potter books. There was a free table next to us for the whole time we were there but we were informed that the table was reserved (without checking). So we sat in a cramped space and a tiny table. Nonetheless this is still a must try in the area. I can't wait to come back and try some of the other offerings and definitely their other cocktails.

A very young atmosphere with an instagrammable interior. The Lamb Baklava was pleasantly surprising with both a savory and sweet flavour. We also ordered the Greek and Arabic fries - nothing super special but the greek fries were more preferred by our table. The Broccolini was very meh. The Shawarma was the star of the show. The chicken was very tender and had a crispy skin. Beware that the pitas are limited so you may have some chicken leftover. The Mac Pide was also good.

We had a great time at STK overall for my birthday brunch. I would recommend this establishment for a special occasion or simply if you want to have a nice meal and are ready to spend money. While the food is on pricier end, it is well worth it. Every brunch dish was a delicious with nuanced taste and flavors. For example, with the fried chicken and waffles, the chicken was much more savory than most places, and it didn’t feel too greasy. The same went for the waffle. I personally had smoked salmon eggs Benedict, which were the best I’ve had in my life. Simple but tasty, and it came with salad. The portions are very fair for the price. Unlike some other high-end restaurants, you do get what you pay for. Service-wise, our server was nice and responsive. It was a quiet Sunday, but we appreciated that he made sure everything was good without being annoying as some servers sometimes are. We went for bottomless mimosas and were pleased with the 90-minute window for refills.

Our server was great and welcoming. The decoration is nice. We ordered medium cowgirl steak, and it was over cooked and medium well to well done, look at the picture. Salad and fries pretty ordinary for a restaurant at this scale and price. The washroom wasn’t clean, the trash bin was over full although it was at a very low number of people time.
