This place isn’t fancy, it’s more like home style, warm and welcoming.
It was a quiet weekday night and only a few tables. Our server is nice enough to give us a larger table.
Food is great overall. The clams are really tiny and slightly overcooked but other than that, most dishes are wonderful.
Must order some bread to soak up the sauce!
The steak is tender and juicy.
Parking on street is difficult to find, however, there's plenty of parking at the Broadview subway station. Night time parking is just a flat fee of $7 until the next day 7am.

This place is charming, with it's colourful interiors and flamenco show on Fridays.
Stopped by for winterlicious and the food was pretty good too. Standouts were the absolutely amazing bacon wrapped dates with almonds and honey, and the poached marsala pears. Also got the beef tenderloin with whiskey sauce and fries which is one of their most popular items - beef was pretty tender and whiskey sauce was interesting.
Service is friendly. Place has a warm vibe. It's like a party in someone's home.

I really enjoyed our dinner and the show. The paella was a touch oily, and they could give more bread for the baked cheese with honey, but flavor and freshness were all really good. The

Amazing experience dining here at Tapas at Embrujo. Wait staff were amazing and the food was delicious . Paella was great and well worth the wait. The tapas were also good , but I wish the bread wasn’t so difficult to cut. Overall had a great time and enjoyed it!

Fantastic and a must visit! Great service and its even better that our waiter was very friendly, knowledgeable, spoke Spanish (Trivia alert - he was from the same island as Nadal the tennis player is from - !). Ambiance was very comfy and adorned with Spanish motif and trinkets and felt family run. Ok, the food. We enjoyed the Winterlicious menu today and bacon wrapped dates were perfect. Crispy bacon (and not soggy like Ive had elsewhere) around succulent sweet dates, complemented with almond slivers - oh my a gastronomic attack!. My tortilla was pretty good as the potato slices were tender and tasty - I would have said great but I wish it was a little more crispy on the outside (Personal peeve as I like a crispy crust). The main - the tenderloin was so tender and flavourable on top of a bed of french fries (very tasty fries and freshly cut as opposed to frozen fries - I think) - I'd recommend you get their whisky sauce on the side, to keep the fries crispy but that sauce compliments the beef so well and not overpowering like a butter sauce. The dessert - the poached pear was very freshing and also looked fantastic. My custard was chilled right for a custard (which is not being served ad room temperature) and it had, the right amount of sauce at the top (some places, it is overflowing and overwhelms the taste of the custard). And you have to get the Embrujo Limonada drink - it is tangy and sweet, and so refreshing... It was good to learn they make their 'own simply syrup' used in their receipe. I will come back and try their jamon, paella, tapas and perhaps their flamenco show, soon.

Really cool experience, even though not every type of meat was for me, it was fun to try different things. The beef sirloin and the bacon wrapped chicken breast were my favourite.
We also went with my young nephews who had a blast dancing with the dancers (who were super nice and so talented)
The staff were also super nice and patient with my large group.
Definitely a great spot if you are looking for a different type of buffet!

Had great dinner with friends here on all you can eat during winterlicious 2024.
It was great food and fun dance performance.
The food was keep coming and everything was tasty and delicious. I didn't get to take many photos and kept on digging lol.
Loved the salad bar and variety of the food as well.
Already recommended the spot to many friends, a must try.

Went to celebrate a birthday and had a wonderful evening. We got the $65 winterlicious reduced menu (no lamb), but were very satisfied
I really enjoyed the appetizer and salad bar. I think that their quality is quite good and this differentiates it from other Brazilian steakhouses. The parmesan wheel, smoked salmon, and avocado salad were notable.
The meats are delicious. We especially enjoyed the picanha (who doesn't?), the pineapple, parmesan filet mignon (so tender), and the parmesan pork loin. A couple things to note - a couple of the initial cuts were very salty ( probably because they were the surface pieces and had just left the grill), the New York striploin was cooked to done, and the pork ribs were dry.
We went on a Thursday (no live entertainment), but the vibes were great and ambiance was wonderful nonetheless.
Service is commendable here. Staff are very pleasant and even surprised us with a slice of cheesecake + happy birthday (thank you).

I wanted this place to be better but I’m sad to say at best its mid, and at worst it’s downright bad (considering the price). Compared to the old copacabana downtown, or brasa in Niagara Falls, it really doesn’t compare favourably.
The meat quality is really inconsistent. Some cuts are cooked really well and seasoned, others are dry and flavourless. How they cut the meat is also inconsistent. Sometimes they’ll give you a nice cut that’s not too thick and isn’t an end piece, other times you’ll just get a chunk of meat that’s the size of a small roast. The server’s aren’t trained to cut meat properly. Frankly it looks like they hired kids to do it; at least on a weekday.
The way the bring out the meat is also pretty sporadic. Servers aren’t walking the floor at all times; they come out in set intervals and disappear the rest of the time. These aren’t practices designed to give the customer a good experience, it’s very obvious they’re designed to cut costs.
Decor wise, the restaurant really shows its age. There’s some odd smells in the building, which doesn’t seem really fit for a restaurant. This isn’t exactly a nice part of Toronto, so it’s at least understandable.
The part that annoyed me the most was that they added a mandatory tip where you weren’t allowed to indicate the percentage. I don’t recall the exact number but it was around 20% or more. If you’re going to help yourself to an unreasonable tip at the customers expense, then earn the damn tip. Don’t use ‘because it’s winterlicious’ as the reason. Don’t give me a limited menu and then tip yourself excessively to make up for it, when you can’t even deliver service that reflects the tip. Frankly, this restaurant should be banned from being able to participate in winterlicious in the future if this is what they do.
David Xing - 3 months ago
The food was good overall, but I wished the meat was just a little more medium than medium rare. The salads were bomb!! And the fried banana was amazing!!! The fried banana would go well with ice cream. Took my mom for her 60th birthday, and she really enjoyed it. Wish we got time to dance more, but there are only 2 sessions for the entertainers to come on for the evening. So I suggest getting there by 8:30 the latest so that you don't miss out!

Attended their steak fest this year and we could not be any happier with the quality of the steak and the cook to perfection. We did the find the appetizers to be a little underwhelming especially the Patata’s. The service was great ! But it did feel really cramped in the dining area. Would say the steak (strip loin) and the dessert (bread pudding) were fantastic.

A gem. Looking from outside you can not imagine how busy is this restaurant. I was shocked once I opened the door and saw all the stools occupied, many table with entire family. We could notice that it is a very traditional restaurant in Danforth. The service, food and atmosphere everything was amazing.

Very cozy place in the winter. Excellent selection of single malts to warm you up. I had the chowder which was delicious and chock full of fish and vegetables. It was creamy, slightly tangy and had just the faintest hint of dill. Well done! I also had their basic burger. It's a good pub style burger with all toppings and accoutrements on the side for construction. It was cooked medium rare as I wanted. It is not, however the best burger in the GTA but rather ranks in the top few percentile. Finally, the brewed coffee is delicious and not muddy/watery unlike many other similar places.
Note: It is pretty pricy but relatively well worth it.

Everything looked and felt really nice especially the decor and aesthetic, though when the dishes arrived we weren’t so thrilled. Their burger didn’t have much flavour and seemed dry and the steak although rare was super stiff and not a good cut of meat overall. Nice people and atmosphere but quite overpriced, not sure if we’d go back.

I actually am not to ever crave for wraps and barely eat fries. But my husband loves and I will admit that everytime I come here with him. I would eat his wraps and I would order their fries. Took my.85 year old mother here last week after our heavy lunch and gave her first taste of the fries. She was full but wanted more. By far best fries I have ever had and sharwama. Been to other places no where compare. Highly recommend and staff are always friendly
Had to save a photo to share 😆

We did a large Pizzaiolo order for our three year old's birthday party at the Withrow Park Clubhouse. I was SO happy with our choice to go with Pizzaiolo.
1. When I placed my order online ahead of time, I wasn't sure I had done the timing correctly, so I called the store and said I was about to place my order for X place and time, but if I mess it up, could they help me correct it.. they said of course, and then (5*), the same person called me back to let me know they had received the order and that it was for the time I wanted.
2. Delivery to Withrow Park Clubhouse - on time, delivery person didn't even need to call me. I was unsure if the delivery team would have a hard time finding the Clubhouse, but they were so good. They came within the 15 min window specified, and brought the pizzas right into the party room, dodging children and decor.
I was SO happy with the service. Thank you Pizzaiolo!

I was so glad to see ‘Deep Dish’ pizzas on their menu and I was utterly disappointed when I spent almost a 100 dollars on the same. I got three pizzas in that amount and didn’t like even a single one of them. I’ve had really good deep dish pizzas and the ones on Pizzaiolo’s menu are FAR from being called deep dish pizzas.
The crust was burnt, and the pizza didn’t taste nice at all. Gourmet or not, I am not trying their pizzas again.

Today was my first time stumbling into The Edmund Burke. The outside sign advertising Steak Frites on Thursday for $21 beckoned me, but I didn't end up getting that after all. I don't know what I was expecting, but I was surprised when I entered. It was after 5pm and the bar was filled with men having a beer at the bar and chatting, while a table at the back had a bunch of women doing the same. This felt like the neighbourhood joint you go to every day. For me, I don't drink and I was alone, but yet I thoroughly enjoyed myself. The darker decor and old fashioned fixtures was calming in a 'you know what you're going to get here' kind of way. Familiar. Comforting. The bartender was the server and she was friendly and made me feel welcome. I ordered the Chicken Schnitzel with homemade spaetzl and thought it was delicious. I will definitely be back. I think this will be a good place to go to in the winter out of the cold. But next time I come, I'm going to check out the back patio.

Staff was friendly food was decent and i like that they are open late!
However their poutine was amazingly salty. Their gravy was just “salt”.
Nacho was alright and wing was half cold half warm. We didnt complain much coz we were all so hungry but if we have more choices and time i dont think we would come here.
Chill place to hangout tho!! Great location too. (Right beside dvp)

Food was good but nothing great and took way too long to come out, waiter was kind enough to shave the poutine off our bill down to just fries. This was the only non fast food place open late enough where we could grab a bite after attending a concert. Had the Blue cheese jack burger. Pretty good but the flavour of the caramelized onions was non existent. Poutine was great I’ll give them full credit there and the bangers and mash ok but nothing special.

We chose the bar level seat looking out the front window. Great food! The chowder was so full of fish it was more like a bowl of fish with sauce. Brussel sprouts are a must have. Fish and shrimps that we had were fresh and tasty. Great service from our server, just the right level of attentiveness and enthusiasm (it's an art) Only thing would be the ventilation in the open kitchen could be better, but hey, they serve fish and chips! What did you expect?
HC Choi - 7 months ago
I decided to give this place a try after I found it on a Google search for fish n' chips.
I ordered a few oysters, which were tasty and fresh along with halibut and chip. I chose the vegan poutine as my side since I don't eat dairy. They don't use any dairy, eggs, or beer in their fish batter, which was nice. I found the halibut a little lacking in flavour, watery and chewy. The vinegarette coleslaw was fresh and delicious. The server was very friendly and helpful, and that made it an inviting spot with a cozy nautical atmosphere.
I will be back for sure to maybe try a different fish next time or their vegan banana blossom fish substitute.
It's definitely worth a visit if you love fish and seafood.

I make sure to stop in to this Irish Pub before go to a concert at the Danforth next door. Great place to have a beer. Feels like you’re in the legitimate pub in Ireland. Guinness & Harp on tap and there are private rooms available too. If you are ever in the area pop in and have a pint. You will be glad you did.

We went to meet friends for a night out and ended up making more new friends as well. Noonan's is an irish bar with more than just Irish beer. They have a good selection of beers, spirits and wine.
We didn't have any food.
Saturday night there was a band and lots of people were dancing.
Noonan's is a smaller venue but easy to get around. There are hooks under the main bar to hang your coats and stuff.
You order yourself from the bar, they have several bar tenders to serve you so there's next to no wait time even when they are busy.
Definitely will go back for more fun and drinks and dancing.
Thanks for the great night out.
