Massey Hall Toronto

Massey Hall in Downtown Toronto is an official heritage building that continues to host popular entertainers and shows

Massey Hall is a historic 2752 seat concert hall in the heart of Toronto that is also a designated heritage building under the Ontario Heritage Act. The Hall was home to the Toronto Symphony Orchestra as well as the Toronto Mendelssohn Choir prior to the opening of the Roy Thomson Hall in 1982.

Massey hall was built in 1894 for a cost of just over $150,000. At that time it seated up to 3500 guests, however renovations during the 1940s reduced the capacity to the current 2752. The hall has had many famous dignitaries through it's doors over the years and has hosted performances by many famous artists.

Massey Hall continues to be a popular venue for many concerts and shows. For additional information about Massey Hall and upcoming concerts and events see the Official Website: Massey Hall.
