Probably the most widely recognized landmark in Toronto, the CN Tower soars high above the surrounding buildings of Toronto's skyline. A marvel of modern engineering and architecture. So just how tall is the CN Tower? At 1818 feet, the CN Tower was the tallest freestanding structure in the world, from when it was first completed back in 1975, until 2007 when the Burj Khalifa Skyscraper in Dubai surpassed it.
From the Look Out at 1136 feet you will enjoy a 360 degree unobstructed view of the city of Toronto and the lakeshore area below. One level down at 1122 feet you may feel your knees go wobbly if you brave a walk on the 256 square foot Glass Floor. At this level you will also experience the Outdoor Observation Area. For an additional charge you can take an elevator up to 1465 feet to the Sky Pod for an even higher viewpoint. Other attractions include a 15 minute movie that highlights the construction of the CN Tower and a Himalamazon motion theatre ride. To enjoy some fine dining with a 360 degree view you may want to try the revolving restaurant located above the Lookout at 1151 feet.
