O2 Arena

The O2 Arena, a large multipurpose arena in South East London is one of several planned venues for the 2012 Summer Olympics in London

The O2 Arena is an indoor multi-purpose venue with flexible seating that can seat up to 23000 spectators making it one of Europe's largest indoor arenas.

The O2 Arena is home to a wide variety of events. Sporting Events held here include basketball, boxing, gymnastics, ice hockey, tennis and professional wresting. It will be the venue for Olympic gymnastics and basketball finals during the 2012 Summer Olympics in London.

Entertainment events include comedy, film, theatre, ice shows, reality TV and Christmas and New Year Celebrations.

Walking Distance from Tube Station. No bus needed.

From North Greenwich Station exit walk towards north. You are pretty much there as soon as you exit the station.

The O2 Arena is also well serviced by the Thames Clippers which offer both express and regular service between Central London and the O2. This is a comfortable and convenient option that takes less than 45 minutes (30 minutes for express service) from Central London.
