Museum of London

The Museum of London has a large collection that explores the City of London from prehistoric times all the way to the present.

The Museum of London opened it's doors in 1976. It features a chronologically ordered collection of artifacts and exhibits that take you through the entire history of this great city. Items in the museum were amalgamated from several other pre-existing collections.

The museum is layed out so that there is only one route through it's galleries which are viewed in chronological order as you walk through. In the Spring of 2010 the Museum completed a £20 million upgrade which included four new galleries. There are many original artifacts along with pictures, models and interactive hands on displays that are fun for all ages.

The Museum of London is open daily except for December 24th-26th and it has free admission, making it a great place to visit for anyone travelling on a budget.
